Literally the best shawarma in LA! This was the first time in years that the food reminded me of home. And Richard makes the experience even closer to home. Very authentic. Will definitely be back!

Authentic Shawarma with all the authentic sides. All supper yummy! Kids can find verity of items to choose from too! I truly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

Yesterday i tried this Place for the first time, i get a beef lafa, it was really juicy and soft. The guys who work there are really nice and they let you try all the kinds of the meet before you order, really recommend it

Pita Pockets truly exceeded my expectations! The beef shawarma was absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor in every bite. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their food. And the Knafeh Nazareth? One of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced sweetness, crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside — just incredible.

I’ve been coming here for the past 20 years since going to school across the street at CSUN. You will not find better Middle Eastern flavor, great atmosphere, and most importantly, nicer staff. The new owner, Richard, has kept the same high quality ingredients, including the pickled radish and fried pita chips, and has excelled at providing great service and a welcoming environment. The Laffa is still made fresh to order and there is nothing like taking a bite of warm freshly made bread in the traditional way. The food is excellent. A must try if you’re in the valley.

Delicious! 10 out of 10 I could smell the food cooking when I walked out of the market and I had to stop by and try it. I'm so glad I did. The food is freshly made right in front of you. The pita bread is homemade and they shave the meat off the spinner when you order. The meat has so much flavor and it's juicy. They have a pretty big shaded outdoor patio. It's very clean. inside seating as well. The employees are nice. I didn't know what to get so they suggested my food The portions are huge. I couldn't finish it all. I also ordered food to go ☺️ They have a cool coffee machine that I have to try next visit.. AND DESSERTS! YUMM they were so good. I'll definitely be back to try more stuff.

Peter Pocket in Northridge is a great spot for authentic Middle Eastern food. The falafel is fresh and crispy, and the shawarma is excellent. The beef shawarma special is especially delicious — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The kanafa is amazing and the perfect sweet finish. Highly recommended!

When I tell you this place is fire, I mean it. Pita Pocket does not miss. From the first bite you can tell everything is fresh. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, super juicy, and they actually load your plate up. None of that skimpy portion nonsense. The rice is fluffy, the pita is warm and soft, and the sauces?? Crazy good. That garlic sauce is dangerous. Customer service was solid too — friendly, quick, and they don’t rush you while you’re deciding. The spot is clean, chill vibe, and perfect whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down to eat. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the flavor is on point. If you’re in the Valley and you’re sleeping on this spot, you’re playing yourself. I’ll definitely be back. 10/10 easy.

One of the best experiences I've had in a really long time for me, a new location that I was trying, and the cashier had even asked if we've ever had peta pockets before and it was my first time. He actually let me try the meat and even gave me a delicious recommendation.I definitely would have come again as my serving was huge, and I could not finish it in one shot and that comes from someone who is a heavy eater. Was in the valley the other night and was looking for a shawarma spot. I found this gem with amazing reviews and i decided to check it out. I ordered the beef shawarma and it was so good! The quality, sauces and flavors were top notch. The fries were great and i was offered the mango unsweetened dip which was great too. Thanks and i’ll be coming back soon!

It was good vegetarian lunch experience, for once at least, nothing exciting unfortunately. Babaganush was very good, let’s say 4 from 0-5, hummus 2, probably it’s canned and doesn’t taste authentic. Falafel 🧆 had 3. French fries was raw inside and not salty at all. If you will go there try meats might be much better experience.

The food was okay. Both the chicken and steak kabob had a tangy flavor to it, really no difference in both, in my opinion. Everything was great, up until the end when we found a hair in the pickled radish. Now, mind you, the pickled radish you serve yourself. I grabbed the small disposable tray and checked to make sure it was clean since they had them sitting by the counter. (Mind you, I am bald, so definitely not my hair). My wife was disgusted by the fact that the hair most likely came from the big batch of pickled radish, and we ate radish from there. There is plenty of parking on the lot.
