This Panera has mixed reviews. Many praise the friendly staff (especially Isela and Brandon), cleanliness, and speed. However, some customers report issues with cleanliness, moldy food, unsanitary practices, and overpriced items.

Love asking the employees what their favorite pastry. I hardly come here or order but it was a good try and the employees choice was delicious.
I actually tried something different than my usual. I got a chicken avocado sandwich on sourdough bread it was delish. The service was nice and right on point. The atmosphere was good.
My experience at this store was amazing. Sean greeted my daughter and I with a smile. He was sweet and very informative about the various options. I'm looking forward to returning Sara Garcia
It's ok. Overpriced on many items. They don't carry croissant sandwiches. Smoothies are milk based, so they are really fruit flavored milkshakes. Drinks are overpriced, the Teas are at least. I guess you pay for the setting. Service always pretty good. The prices on Bagels is ok and sandwiches. The Flatbread Pizzas are great because the have no grease. I find the cookies and many bakery items too sweet. Good place to buy fresh bread. Online app is cool, but benefits are super stingy. So not that impressed. I've made 3 orders pretty good size, with no benefits or coupons. Good spot needs some work. They throw out so much leftover food at the days end, just bring your freaking prices down stop being so greedy!
Great place. Here it is Saturday, I've been to 3 places this morning looking for a place to dine and there's 30 45 minutes waiting. But look... panera is empty with indoor dining and a breakfast menu. Problem solved. Clean, fast, friendly service. Stayed there for almost two hours visiting with friends.
A bit expensive, but always delicious! I wouldnt recommend using the drive thru tho. I ordered ahead of time, but was stuck waiting 30 minutes in the drive through for pickup. Live and learn lol
Love this location, staff is awesome and helpful, service is quick and caring, food is delish, drinks on point too!
As of today, I would say this is one of my favorite Panera breads to come and read. Due to its location, you don't get a lot of foot traffic other than the typical lunch rush. They have plenty of staff currently, so the place is kept pretty clean. There is a girl with blonde hair who frequently takes time to tend to the cleanliness of the place. There's always ample seating for me as well. The food is acceptable, and the service is very quick even on their busy days/times.
Norwalk Panera is awesome! Staff is friendly, Laura, Kelly, Jessica & Mgr. Rodrigo are the best as well as rest of the staff that I will soon get to know there names. It's always clean, the music is great & the food is excellent. Stop by , you won't be disappointed.
10/10 customer services love this Panera bread
During my second visit to Panera Bread, I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by the manager, Brandon and this experience completely blew my first one out of the water. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, warm, and perfectly maintained. The restaurant was spotless, the lighting was cozy yet bright enough to feel cheerful, and even the music was a vibe. upbeat enough to add energy but not overpowering. It genuinely felt like the kind of place you’d want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Brandon immediately stood out as someone who takes pride in his role and his store. I asked him for a personal recommendation, and without hesitation, he suggested their new Italian Mozz sandwich. Let me just say, it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had at any restaurant, fast-casual or otherwise. The bread was perfectly toasted, the ingredients fresh, and the flavors balanced so well that every bite felt gourmet. It honestly set a new bar for what I’ll expect from Panera going forward. To make the visit even better, I decided to treat myself to one of their cinnamon buns. And wow!! this was hands-down the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever had. The icing-to-cinnamon ratio was perfect. It genuinely felt like they spared no expense with the icing, making it rich, sweet, and evenly coated. It almost felt as though Brandon personally iced it himself, it gave the entire dessert a thoughtful, handmade touch that made the whole experience feel even more personal and special. Brandon’s level of attentiveness and pride in his store is rare to see these days. He made me feel like more than just another customer, and that kind of service leaves a lasting impression. This Panera location will now be my go-to, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family without hesitation. Thank you, Brandon, for going above and beyond to make what could have been just another meal into an experience that will be very hard to top! Panera is lucky to have you leading this location!
I was worried about the reviews for this particular location, but I have given this location several tries and it has become my favorite Panera location because of their cleanliness, speediness, and friendly service. I have had only good experiences. I would always just go for their green papaya drink ( A MUST TRY) and bagels. I finally decided to order something different. I got myself a pizza . It was delicious and worth trying . I recommend that you download their app. You'll be able to order ahead of time and earn rewards. I hope their breakfast menu is just as delicious as their lunch menu.
Once again, this week Panera Bread has teamed up with our St Linus Church in Norwalk for another fundraising for a good cause. Thank You for their generosity for being a partnership. We ordered a family deal with soups, chicken, turkey sandwiches, bread, and salads Togo. Altogether, it was $30.00 plus taxes, which was a great deal for a family of four. It actually took within 5 minutes, by the time we arrived, the foods were ready for us to pick up. The place was cleaned and organized with very friendly staff. They also practiced the COVID protocol which keeps customers as employees in a safe manner. Since we have not eaten at this place before, the food was excellent and delicious. The sandwiches were outstanding with the right portion, the bread was also soft and fresh. I was happy with the soup thou, it wasn’t salty at all, but was good to eat with the bread. Since this place was located very close to my home, I would definitely stop by again to dine.
I go here daily for lunch. They know me by name and what I usually order. Great food and great staff.

I came into this Panera recently and was really impressed with the service. My order was taken quickly, and everything came out fresh and exactly as I asked. The employee who helped me, Isela, was especially kind and attentive when I asked about some of the items on the menu. She greeted me warmly and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. You don’t always get that kind of friendliness at fast casual spots, so I wanted to write about it. The restaurant itself had outlets everywhere and lots of seating. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.
I love this panera it’s spacious clean the vibe is nice and I appreciate the outlets that are accessible for the community good food as well

I like the setup here. Excellent and friendly staff. Customers feel welcomed. One improvement recommended is to please really have the order ready to be picked up when the email goes out to the customer that their order is ready. Most of the times, this happens, but there have been a few times where I am told the order is ready and there is nothing ready to be picked up and you have to ask the person there.
In the last year the service has been very consistent with on time orders for 10 to 12 people. I order with the app and then pick it up. The food and bakery items are good quality. Convenient location.
Positive: big space with plenty of seats both inside and outside. Easy ways to order food. Food are the same as other locations. Slightly bigger area than other surrounding locations like Cerritos and Lakewood which allow this location to have drive-thru as well. Negative: Men's restroom always stinks and toilet bowl is repulsive, and the sink water is too hot, not warm, HOT. There's probably a knob to control the temp, but it's impossible to be located. Regarding the smell of the restroom, this message is not just for the restaurant but also the men's restroom users, please be more considerate in terms controlling your pee spatter and flush after yourself. Thanks

Recently I've been disappointed due to, the fact that I love their baked goods, especially their cookie selection, but lately, they've run out of all goods by 6 pm sometimes even before this. This was never an issue for all the baked goods.
I ordered chicken noodle soup to go along with wild rice soup. Double check the chicken noodle soup before leaving the restaurant they may not have the right ratio of solids to broth. I opened it at home and it was 80% broth! I will go to the store and talk to the manager and suggest that they have a better system to ensure that when they scoop up the soup that they get a certain amount of solids and then at the broth after that.
The food was good but the prices were okay. I like the area
Even with the free delivery, the price is outrageous. Even in person, it is extremely overpriced. I like the steak sandwhich. (Steak and white chedder). However, it is small, and extremely pricey. I customized it, no red onion, crispy onions instead... With extra horseradish. Basically they didn't put any of the customizations so I ended up with just steak, cheese, and horseradish. Obviously I would of preffered the red If there is no alternative. It was my first and last time ever ordering French onion soup. It was so gross, maybe that is personal preference though. The pumpkin muffin was delicious HOWEVER... Worst bagels I have ever bought in my life. Great value is better. I tried every hack in the book to soften them but to no avail. You could use the bagels to assault someone, or break a window, and the cream cheese was bland and tasted like wet nothing. Panera was a big part of my childhood. I remember the fresh bagels, and just feeling so fancy and expensive eating it as a kiddo. They have lowered their standereds and quality significantly, at least at this location.
There are three self-kiosk which make ordering easy when it's crowded. Coffee and hot water ran out really fast, and it seemed there weren't enough people to refill the dispensers as fast as they could.

Listen, it's a Panera. You're never going to get what you pay for. I'm just writing this review because the staff are friendly here, the place is clean and well-managed, and it's nobody's fault they have subpar ingredients to work with. I do remember coming here often during Killer Lemonade Summer. God I loved that lemonade. I think my bloodstream was 50% Panera Killer Lemonade at some point. And you know what? Even though I lost a foot, I'm proud of it.

The worst and most disorganized Panera bread that I have ever been to. I ordered a parfait and oatmeal to go and it took 25 minutes to receive my order. There was another lady still waiting on her order and she ordered before I did. Yet others ordered and got their food immediately. They offered some customers free pasteries for the delay and others, like myself, nothing. The parfait was warm with liquid build up at the bottom like it had been sitting out waiting for a while. At least the oatmeal was good. I do not recommend this Panera at all.
Went throught the drive and they gave us the wrong order. Also told us that they were out of baguettes and bread bowls. But when I went in to correct order there was plenty of bread bowls and they had baguettes. Can't remember her name
I did a drive through order this morning around 10.15am. Ordered a large coffee with bacon double take sandwich and a capri sandwich for my daughter. The bacon double take was missing the egg. It was so salty with only bacon and cheese. This is why I hate drive through. Staff are careless for their consumers needs.
WILDLY overpriced cafeteria food. $8 for a mediocre 8ozsl smoothie that tastes pre-made. Service is glacially slow. Do not recommend Panera in any way. Restaurant of absolute last resort.
What You order vs what you get is shameful. Not worth the money. My $6+ latte tasted like water and syrup. My sandwich was disappointing. Would not buy again. Dont get coffee here, dont get sandwiches.

Drive thru: Ordered a French onion soup with extra cheese. The receipt even said extra cheese, but not only did I not get extra, the soup came with ZERO cheese. To top it all off, they didn’t even include a spoon. The most perfunctory, useless experience.
felt like i got robbed. terribly tiny portions. super overpriced. i got a mac n cheese in a breadbowl and the little cup the mac n cheese comes in was only half full. any other fast food place would have it completely full. $12 bucks for a handful of mac n cheese and a little bread. and i cannot explain exactly how but you could tell that the people who made it were overworked and underpaid. it had an air of stress and depression. would not have gotten it if i wasnt sick in bed.
May have been a one off, but I received the wrong sandwich, and my family's pickup had were missing items. Very strange considering it was only 8 am and they had max 4 orders on the screen. Cmon now.
Recently, their portions are insanely smaller than they used to be. Today, I got a chicken avocado melt sandwich. There was a pinch of chicken in it, and bread slices were evenly cut. Even tomato slices were bigger than the bread slice at the top. It was messy eating it. I had to get a fork to eat the fallen tomato and avacode pieces off the plate. No more dining here.
Turkey BLT was very bland and it has BACON. How is that possible? My iced coffee was off in taste very weak. To to top off my experience they didn't have any bagels for sale at 10 am.🙄 Pass and find another spot to eat.
Save yourself. The mens room throne has the wrong size ring and lid. This causes excrement to stain everywhere. Its disgusting!!! I washed my hands and just ate next door. Gross
Manager was rude. Worker was behind the counter with a runny nose 👃🏽 (wiping it on his inner arm 🤮), and apparently, the rude manager felt it was ok for him to be in the kitchen area preparing food. I would have recommended because I've eaten at this location for over a year, but after this last experience, it's a hard NO God me. Just be mindful of the kitchen staff when you're waiting for your food.
Hello, I ordered bagels online for my office party for pick up at 8:00 am. At 7:55 they called me that they are out of bagels. They spoiled my whole office party and I have embarrassment at my office . WOW I like the efficiency of their service for letting me know 5 min before my pick up. I will never order from this location any more.
Very bad service i have been waiting for order for more than 2 minutes
DO NOT EAT HERE. This is by far the most filthy restaurant I have ever visited — and I gave them at least six chances over the course of a month. The dining room floors are consistently dirty and never vacuumed, and the men’s restroom is worse than a truck stop. You can smell the urine from outside the door. I called three separate times to report the issue to management, but each manager dismissed my concern, suggesting it was just a missed cleaning. That’s simply not true. Anyone with common sense can tell the difference between a single missed cleaning and ongoing neglect. I could never eat in a place with such unsanitary restrooms. I even explained that I lead a local group of 12 preachers who were planning to meet there weekly, but the conditions drove them away. Despite my repeated requests for improvement, nothing changed. There has been body hair on the floor and dried feces on the toilet for at least three of my visits over the span of a month — absolutely unacceptable. There is no way any employee who’s entered that restroom could be unaware of its condition. SAD and extremely disappointing.
Avoid this location, they are very stingy, there is a small little piece of chicken sitting at the middle of the tiny sandwich, the sandwich is the same length as the soup cup, or for reference. Whoever did this sandwich, I hope you only get 10 hour schedule every two weeks. The total amount of chicken is the size of my pinky
This use to be my favorite Panera. Its so close to my job and my first stop before going to work. BUT! Today, 4-17-2023, was the worst EVER! I ordered a half-Greek Salad. When I opened it, it was old and FULL OF MOLD!!! THIS HORRIFYING!!!! I'm DONE! NOT COMING HERE AGAIN!!!
I was so disappointed with this location. Pretty dirty place, most of the floor and tables had food, no tables were wiped down Their cinnamon rolls were stale and oily. It’s like they tried to rehydrate them and each roll had about a pound of glaze. That’s besides how lazy the staff is, they served dine in option in to go cups/ containers. I think the only thing that didn’t taste off or just old were the potato chips
Don't go here. I just received my order and when I was biting the sandwich saw some bugs. This is so nasty. I will not be visiting this location again.

I visit Panera fairly often, but the Norwalk location has a serious restroom hygiene issue that’s hard to ignore. The odor in the bathrooms is overwhelming — not just a typical restroom smell, but a strong, lingering urine scent that hits you the moment you open the door. It’s so bad that it genuinely ruined my appetite. I shouldn’t be thinking about that smell while trying to enjoy my food. What makes this worse is that the restroom looks like it gets the bare minimum of attention. They might replace the toilet paper and quickly wipe the toilet seats, but everything else feels untouched. The sink appears clean at first glance, yet it smells like pee, which tells me it’s not being properly scrubbed or disinfected. I don’t know what’s causing that smell, but it should not exist on something people use to wash their hands. It almost seems like people have been using the restroom to wash themselves, based on the state of the floors and the overall dampness. Whether that’s happening or not, the end result is the same: it leaves a terrible odor and makes it feel like the bathroom hasn’t had a real, thorough cleaning in a long time. A restaurant should be a place where you feel comfortable eating. When I walk out of the restroom feeling more gross than when I walked in — and when the smell stays with me afterward — that’s a problem. This location desperately needs a deep cleaning and a consistent maintenance schedule. It’s honestly surprising that management hasn’t noticed or addressed this yet, because it’s affecting the experience of customers who are paying to sit and eat here. Panera’s food is great, and I like the brand, but this issue makes me think twice about returning to this location. I hope they take this seriously, because no one should lose their appetite over a restroom. Even if the manager tries to excuse this by saying they’re short-staffed, that doesn’t make it acceptable. A shortage of employees is not a free pass to neglect basic cleanliness. If there aren’t enough workers to maintain the restaurant, then the manager needs to roll up their sleeves and do it themselves. That’s what leadership is. It’s completely ridiculous to allow the restaurant to open in this condition and expect customers to just deal with it. If you’re short-staffed, then take responsibility don’t ignore the problem. Clearly, the manager has more time than the rest of the staff, so there’s no reason the restrooms should be left in such a disgusting state.
Shitty service and a huge waste of time. They will always prioritize the car or customer behind you while being huddled up talking instead of actually respecting the customer's time.
I wanted to let you know about a problem I had with the service provided at your location that happened today on 8-19-2024. Young man his name was Darwin, who took my order and made my food, was picking at his nose and then touching my food without washing his hands. It was really gross and made me uncomfortable. On top of that, Darwin was really rude. He suggested I should switch my order to a veggie sandwich because he said I "looked fat." That comment was completely inappropriate and hurtful. I’d like a full refund for my order and some extra compensation for the trouble. I hope this can be sorted out quickly. I will be stopping back sometime this week to speak to a supervisor. But I am leaving this review as a warning to other customers. DO BETTER! Thanks, Brian
