You'll have an entire experience when you visit. I chose to try a variety of gorditas rather than a typical entree with sides and boy was that a great move! Our lovely server gave delicious recommendations for pollo, chicharrones, barbacoa, and mole. They offer so many flavor combinations that I must go back to try more!

Some friends new how much I like food especially real deal authentic and so they took me here and I was not disappointed one bit! Pictures in this review is the carnage asada plate which as THREE steaks, rice, beans, cheesy baked potato, fried jalapenos served with salsa and corn tortillas. It was so good! They have a small menu but I tried a bit of everything we all ordered and everything so so yum! Go check out this whole in the wall that's packed with flavor!

The food is so good!! The gorditas with meat and red chili/green chili are bomb!! Delicious, warm, soft, and full of meat and not just potatoes! The restaurant is not well maintained and it's difficult to eat and smell fabuloso at the same time (we are outside). Must try even if it's to go!!

Make sure you see the new pricing each of their specialties gorditas are $5 each and they are small and taste like reheated hard dough. As a Gordita lover and someone traveling from out of state neither the commute the price nor the flavor were worth it . Never going out of my reach for this type of food . Very disappointed

Bought gorditas a few months ago and there was a hair in one of them. Went back today and there was what looked like a pubic hair in one of the gorditas again. Food was salty very disappointing!

The food wasn't as good as it used to be the gorditas were falling apart one day then hard the next time...they tasted terrible maybe they have a new cook because it's very different in a bad way ! I won't go there again . The quality of the food has gone down but the prices have gone up 😠 this place was always packed ,the last week when I went over there it was empty NOW I KNOW WHY!!!

This place used to be really good a few yrs ago but now...truly GROSS. Ordered the enchiladas Verde & it was nursing home SLOP. Beans runny like glue, sauce drenched / drowning sloppily made enchiladas & the chicken inside was like watery MUSH, rice over salted. Wouldn't even take home to my stray cats, it was so nasty. & God help you if you don't speak Spanish when ordering. You are immediately scrutized if you can't. Never again - sick to my stomach since leaving. Yuk !

I was treated horrible when I complained that my food was full of grease. I ordered the tacos dorados and the oil was so much it filled the bottom of my plate! I told the cashier and she contacted the manager over the phone. No apologies or anything. Rude as hell if you're not mexican. Run!!

Well I usually read the reviews before I go to a restaurant this time I didn't I was craving gorditas since all my life I've lived next to the border and well lets face it best food ever and i also grew up in Juarez! Said that I was very disappointed with this restaurant the waiters are rude! We walked in no one greeted my husband and I! I went up to the counter to ask a question to the waiter since she was just there standing counting money and she gave me this ugly look like I interrupted her! She she told me to get a table and sit down a waiter will come over! So we did im surprised it took a couple of minutes but our waiter acted like she had more important things to do than take our order rushing us! I explained it's our first time being here gives a few mins and she made her faces! So yea the food is good dont get me wrong the customer service really sucks! That was my first time there definitely my last I'll take my service as my money somewhere else! Also all the waiters are dressed to impress but only man it actuall felt like i was walking into hooters but in a Mexican restaurant! Damn so shameless in deed! So no I dont recommend dining in maybe take out since the food is delicious but not the dine in!

Horrible experience this morning! I am so upset, last weekend I had bought some menudo that was really good, so this morning I decided to buy a again, the menudo had really bad tasting like a burnt flavor, I called they were not nice at all about it, I asked to get gorditas with that menudo amount of money and the man said yes but sounded mad about it, when I sent a family member for them, they were mad and just gave him the money back! I can’t believe they would not be nice about this situation being they were at fault not us! This was my last time there! ( the girl I talked to first did recognize that the menudo was bad, that’s the worst part of it!)

Plastic inside my burrito from the bags they use to package/ Walked in with mom and sister all of the waitresses were either talking to male customers or talking by the register we sat there for 10 minutes while all of the waitresses walked around flirting with men and taking their orders while we had walked way before those male customers came in. We called out to them twice and got ignored then finally they came over took the orders and the aguas were disappointing the horchata had a huge amount of hard rice it felt like I was drinking sand. Over all if you’re not a male they won’t even come and have good service

I have driven by this spot for a number of years so we finally decided to pay it a visit. Nicely greeted as we entered the establishment. Interesting carpeted floors recently swept clean. Dated seating/dining area. Tables were clean. We ordered gorditas (smaller corn or flour tortillas filled with your choice of meat). We ordered: Carne asada (beef), Carnitas (marinated pork) Chicharrón prensado (like marinated pork belly pressed down and fried) Barbacoa (beef) and Chile colorado (red Chile with potato). Only two that were sightly good: the Carnitas (marinated pork) and the Barbacoa. The carnitas gordita was flavorful and soft, the barbacoa was a bit greasier than my liking, but the flavor was okay. THE BAD: carne asada, dry, overcooked (nearly blackened diced meat) and tasted like leftover meat. The red chile gordita had no spice, not flavorful and not fresh. Worst of all was the Chicharrón prensado: I had to address the waitress and visibly show her that the meat was raw (not undercooked) but raw. What's more surprising is that traditionally speaking: chicharrón prensado should be a deep fried cut of pork belly and then "pressed down" then sometimes further cooked in a sauce. What we got instead it was a marinated piece of raw pork meat. The server did replace for something else (and did charge). I like being a patron of local spots but due to the unfortunate food quality of this establishment I cannot recommend it.
