This place is amazing. I had a tortellini w rabbit sugo nicely complimented by a Barbaresco. The dessert is a chocolate filled pasta accompanied by a glass of brachetto. The pasta is hot, consistency of the sauce is just right. This restaurant I can say is in my top three Italian restaurants of all time. Highly recommend.

You won’t find a better Italian resturaunt than this in the Bay Area and beyond. Intimate setting and everything is a 12/10. By far the best Italian food I have ever had. The real deal just like being in Italy.

We visited Belotti to catch up with friends over lunch, and we all absolutely loved the food. Since we had our dog with us, we opted for an outdoor table. Despite the chilly weather, the heaters kept us warm. We shared three different salads, each one a delight. Everyone chose a unique pasta dish, and we sampled each other's plates—every single one was delicious. Of course, we couldn't resist dessert, so we ordered three varieties, all of which were excellent ! The panna cotta and tiramisu were particularly outstanding, possibly the best I've ever tasted. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well. Highly recommend!

TLDR: great service and amazing food We sat at our reservation at 11:05 and loved the simple menu. Our server was helpful with recommendations and we ordered an appetizer, three entrees and two desserts. The lettuce salad they were nice enough to split into three separate portions and it was tasty with the pine nuts. The entrees were great, I loved my stuffed pasta and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her mushroom pasta. My friend got a gluten free pasta with bolognese and she also enjoyed it. Dessert we tried the chocolate pasta and it was very interesting, nothing I’ve tried before! All in all, a great experience and fair prices

Sometimes it’s a bit tricky to get in, but it’s always worth it! They serve some of the best spaghetti in the East Bay. They also have amazing desserts and drinks. We love chatting with the bartenders and other guests, so we always try to sit at the bar when we can. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, and everyone is super friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This place WOWed me a great deal! One of those true gastronomic experiences that one would appreciate and remember for a long time! 100% highly (and highly) recommended. I was told by their service folks that it is best to come in with no more than 4 person party. Big group NEEDS month+ reservation in advance. Yes... that good!!

My single evening there was a pleasant time and I enjoyed the vegan pasta with extra tomato sauce and basil, along with a decent glass of italian red wine. I would have preferred some good sonoma/napa county cabernet, but there offerings were decent. I would also encourage them to expand the green salad selections, without smothering it in animal remains. My impression of the staff: manager and waitress, was that they were good authentic people and probably live locally in north oakland. So even though my date that night bombed out, I will return the next time when in the area. I live in Pacifica.

Delicious food, in a somewhat cramped seating area. Seems like it filled up quickly, so reservations are a good idea. Our server Shane was delightful and attentive.

Great food, horrible service. Shortly after we got our food, someone, not our waiter tried to clear our food. Forks still in hand, we explained that we were still eating. Ten minutes later, she came and tried to start clearing our plates again while we were still eating. It was so odd that I asked our waiter if we were taking too long an and he assured us it was a slow night and it was over an hour before closing. The food was delicious but the service was so terrible that we couldn’t wait to leave. Too bad a decent restaurant has such rude, insulting service. We lives walking distance but still we’ll never go back.

Im sorry but this place is not good. We came because of the high reviews, we ordered 3 top selling pastas and all of them were disappointing. The stuffed pasta was just not good! There was zero filling in the pasta other than the chunks of meat! No cheese to balance, nothing. Just beef and ham, depending on what you order. Then there’s the sauce in the dish but that’s not even enough. The mushroom pasta was so bland, loaded with mushrooms and was kinda slimy. I’m very underwhelmed. I ordered an espresso to finish off and it wasn’t piping hot. Our server was nice and the location is great but that’s about it. I won’t be coming back.
