It's easy to overlook this little corner deli, but we got a quick & delicious Chef's Salad from them with hella toppings, as well as a satisfying fruit bowl. We'd also grabbed a premade spaghetti container, but were not impressed with the lack of meat and one-dimensional flavor that reminded me of alphabet soup as a kid. The owners are kind and helpful, we loved 2 of the 3 quick to-go options we'd gotten, and all of our food came in sizable portions. If I worked nearby, I'd happily hit them up for salads regularly (and I'm not even a salad person!). Ours was FILLED with yummy toppings- plenty of ham and other goodies to make it worth it. Give them a try if you're looking for an inexpensive, quick, and healthy takeout!

First time here today. I originally came in looking for a local coffee spot, and when I arrived around lunch, the place was packed—which is always a good sign. The menu had some interesting options, so I went with the soup of the day: chicken pozole. I’m glad I did, because it was really good. I also ordered a medium double latte, which hit the spot, and a ginormous cookie. Best of all, everything came out to under $15. I’ll definitely be coming back.
What a fantastic place! Sandwiches are freshly made, coffee is made to order by the owner himself, the ladies making the sandwiches are so nice and hardworking. I love to have my lunch there. Beside sandwiches they offer a variety of salads, snacks and healthy sodas. Prices are very reasonable. The service is superb!
Tiny, efficient, and excellent place. Great sandwich. I just happened to stumble upon this place today. In the middle of... not much, but near the Oakland Museum. Huge excellent sandwich on a perfect, soft long roll, for about what I pay in SF for just a regular small bread and meat job.
This little place is an awesome gem! The owner is always friendly and provides great service. While the place is small, the quality is tremendous! The baked goods (muffins, scones, cookies) are always fresh. A must visit!!
