Even though this review was originally to get free fries on your order, it actually merits the 5 stars. Really good, seasoned food. Fries are crunchy and savory. Welcoming environment and quick to give the food out. Even the bathrooms were really clean! Really good area close to Lake Merrit. Just a pleasant experience.

My husband and I went to pick up our order, we went there being our first time through a recommended. Food is 🔥 & did not disappoint! The chopped cheese is where it’s at! Hubby ordered the California burger. We will definitely be coming back again! Service was great too, my husband and I felt welcomed & the food was exceptionally delicious. I was going to include a picture of our food but we inhaled it before I remembered to take a picture 😅 just know it was pure bliss for our tastebuds in our part 👍🏻

It's was great .... The youngster at the register was very polite and smiled! However, the seating inside is HORRIBLE. They got two tables squished into a little corner that only 1 person at a time could get in or out of. That needs to be fixed. Other than that great spot!!!

The food is so good every time! Love the grass fed beef cheesesteaks and burgers, my favorite burger place since I found this place. Also they have Tater tots that are so crispy good. I love this place and the guys who work there are super cool and great service. I recommend the whole Bay Area to come down for food and service at its best.

First time. Nice peeps, tidy space. There are a few tables outside too. Got the bacon steak. The portion size is very generous. I couldn't hang and had to take the rest home. Will be back when I can finish my leftovers.

Meh. I’ve eaten here twice. The first seemed alright. The second, I realized they were very stingy with the chicken on the chicken cheesesteak, so the sandwich was mostly bread and sauce. Couldn’t see what’s worth $15. Service is pleasant if rather slow. Atmosphere is bland.

If you are looking for a late night cheesesteak, I would recommend IB’s (but if Cheesesteak Shop or Mills Cheesesteak are open I might reconsider). However, there were a few flaws with my experience. I ordered the Truffle cheesesteak but instead got the surf n’ turf (small $16). It was fulfilling, I added hot peppers and mushrooms too for $1 each along with Garlic Onion Rings (except when I got my order it did not come with garlic which was an extra $2). The cheesesteak itself was great quality of meat and decent portion. Bread on the cheesesteak was fluffy, cheese was spread reasonably, and the toppings hit just right. The onion rings looked big and plump (there were about 7 or 8) but there was only filling for about 2 of them while the rest were shells. Ranch was good, spicy sauce (not ghost pepper, next time I will try) was like Raising Cain’s but with a hit of spicy similar to siracha level. Overall, for the $30 I spent, I would say this place is alright. I understand I went at the end of night so things were forgotten and the customer service was great (the cashier was friendly). I would try one more time to see how good the Lamb meat is. I am glad they use halal and ingredients seem to be fresh. Hopefully, I will rate this place higher when I return.

The person who is working at the grill is banging something loudly and frequently, very annoying, the decibel level is high. I don't know that I've ever been in a restaurant that was that loud. If it's a nice day, you could eat outside on one of their two 2-person tables, but I wouldn't recommend eating inside there. Also, the watermelon lemonade, which the menu says is made fresh in house, wasn't bad, but I don't think I tasted any watermelon in it, and it didn't taste particularly fresh.

The person who is working at the grill is banging something loudly and frequently, very annoying, the decibel level is high. I don't know that I've ever been in a restaurant that was that loud. If it's a nice day, you could eat outside on one of their two 2-person tables, but I wouldn't recommend eating inside there. Also, the watermelon lemonade, which the menu says is made fresh in house, wasn't bad, but I don't think I tasted any watermelon in it, and it didn't taste particularly fresh.
