One of the best Vegan experiences I've had in a long time! The Vegan Cali burrito was so delicious I keep thinking about it.
This place is amazing! Has a lot of vegan options! The habanero salsa was on point. I got my vegan wet burrito half red and half green salsa with vegan carne.
This is one of the best vegan options, and other choices are also available at good prices. They offer great customer service and fast preparation. I really appreciate how the managers or owners work with their employees and do their best to provide excellent service to their customers. I’m very satisfied with their cleanliness and their contagious smiles. Please keep this atmosphere just as it is, always.
Awesome cheap spot for vegan tacos, burritos and cheesecake! The tacos tasted so authentic — I’ll definitely be back.
I love this place. I’ve been trying to eat less meat and their vegan options are bomb. I’ve taken hardcore meat eaters here and they were shocked by how much they liked the vegan stuff. I love their tomatillo salsa and they have a ton of agua fresca options. Overall, definitely my favorite Mexican fast food in the area. Also, it’s a taqueria. The atmosphere is whatever, but somebody’s nana painted gorgeous oil landscapes that currently grace their otherwise plain walls. That part is pretty cool.
I don't care what anyone says, hands down best affordable vegan tacos !!! The vegan carne asada is to dream about!! Tuesdays are tacos Tuesday my favorite day of the week I love this spot. And open late??? C'mon now
Great employees and delicious food for a reasonable price. I walk in, quick and easy ordering process, the food is quickly cooked right in front of me, and then I'm greeted with a choice of salsa and a smile...and this happens every time. Never had 1 bad experience, nor have I ever left unpleased.
Half of the menu provides vegetarian options, and the food was delicious. The prices are affordable and they have many "veggie meat" options available. The ingredients were fresh and the salsa was the perfect amount of spicy. Definitely coming back:)
Counter service or self-serve thru various medium-large sized tablets makes it super easy to order, tap payment availability is a plus! The waiting time is about 15 mins which is normal for any good quaility food service. Gives you time to chop it up with colleages and such 👍. Now the food was and IS DELICIOUS!, asada plates with beef soft to chew and tender to bite thru plus that crunchy semi dark brown sear 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤. Super clean and fresh lettuce, fresh sour cream, clean rice tasting rice and beans with tortillas wrapped in foil to keep hottt ! 👌 Aguas frescas were refreshing! And the perf level of sweetness. 🧊 Accidentaly order chips with my plate but the GM informed that all orders come with chips and salsa so he offered me a drink instead. Fair deal. All stuff is very nice and friendly! Definitely will come back and recommend this place to others and my customers.
Thank you for your amazing customer service and for excellent intuition when helping me make a change to my order the other day. Above and beyond to help ensure their food and service is a positive experience. from management and serving staff…everyone is Professional and together they make a great caring staff Thank you
Went here late a few weeks ago and I’m so glad that they were open because I was super hungry. It was nice that you could order at the kiosk or at the counter and I opted for the kiosk so I could look at their whole menu. I got the asada fries with both types of cheese but next time I’ll just get double Monterey Jack. The ratio of topping to fries was excellent.
They have an entire vegan menu! I got a vegan chimichanga - tasted amazing, huge portion, came with chips. It even had vegan cheese inside. I also got the vegan cheesecake (also tasted amazing, smallish portion but worth it imo) and the vegan Thai iced tea (was alright, tasted a bit thin relative to coconut milk based ones I've tried). I will definitely come back to explore more of the vegan menu!
My friend and I were looking for a decent taco spot. The bartender at the hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant. From the moment we walked in you cpuld smell the fresh herbs and deliciousness. The ordering process was easy. You can either place your order on a kiosk or at the register. Undecided as to what to get, my friend went to the register to ask for recommendations. The owner so graciously offered us samples of the alternative meats. I chose the $2 tacos in a variety of ways and my friend ordered the taco bowl. The food came out nice and fresh, looking great. Their housemade hot sauce was out of this world. I didn't think I would finish all 7 tacos, but they were so good that I did! The owner had such a great time talking with us that he brought out their homemade vegan chocolate cheesecake for us. From the first bite, you can taste the richness in the cake. Definitely the best finishing touch. I highly recommend this restaurant. There is also a full array of non-vegetarian options just as good. I loved the Parsley Chick'n, Vegan Al Pastor, and Vegan Carne Asada.
Burritos are bomb, clean staff, bathroom has outdoor door type to get in, bathroom cleanliness is ok. Not too dirty.
I'm pleased with the vegan options and that breakfast food is available all day. I usually add my own seasonings because they tend to be light with theirs
Interior vibe sucks. Food is ok. Open late! Huge menu w vegan options as well. My favorite was the tostada with vegan sour cream. Many of the vegan meats are gluten free as well, including tofu, jackfruit, and about 4 options made with Beyond Meat. I like that they give pickled radishes, jalapeños and a few types of salsa. Don’t miss the desserts, great cakes of many types.
Man, this is one of the best spots I have seen in Oakland far better than the food trucks that are available on the international Boulevard and the prices are comparatively fair. I happen to get a burrito. They have a lot of varieties for affordable prices and the environment is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Their salsas are very nice. I would give a four star for the atmosphere and the food and the service I would rather visit this place than going to any other food truck because you would end up paying almost similar amount like $15 per item but over here you can actually get for 11 or 12 bucks. And they’re open late night. I still need to try many dishes, but the burrito I got is really good. They have a couple of chicken options as well. I tried the spicy chicken, which is like pork but not pork.thats it
Got a carne asada burrito for take out. Quick friendly service. And It was just ok. Edible, but not particularly enjoyable. The salsas were pretty good. But For Oakland, there are stronger options available
Man omg I dont know who was cooking today. Its like they poured a gallon of oil on this shreeded beef. It’s usually pretty good but man today was a mess. It was so oily thats all I tasted. I should’ve asked for a refund. This was terrible!! It was oil just dripping off the tacos. Yuck. If the owner sees this just know I usually like your restaurant and always support, but today I had to let you know about this. This is unacceptable. Its like they just threw this together.
Both burottos were terrible. The first I ordered was a Philly cheese steak burrito and the top half of it had zero meat and cheese, just lettuce tomato and red pepper and some mystery sauce. Asked about it and the cook said there was some in there, thankfully the cashier exchanged it for a San Diego Burrito but that was barely better. It's mostly tortilla with barely any filling. Disappointed over all cause the food doesn't match their photos they have posted on Google Maps. Overall disappointed and won't be returning.
Never get my order right. Light beans and light sour cream simple, and every time it’s opposite. On top of being the only customer there, hospitality is starting to feel selective. Terrible, not just the beans either but the juice from the beans. Nothing tastes fresh anymore. Used to be good but I guess times changed. Not to mention out of 20 bucks and still hungry at work, I’m very disappointed.
