Came here with some friends on a Friday night. It's great that there's no cover charge to get in. Bartender who assisted me was friendly and attentive. Definitely reasonable drink prices, and the bartender made them taste good while still being strong. I really like the vibe/atmosphere here.

John was awesome. Was at California Deathfest, and these folks gracefully entertained an unexpected swarm of metal heads looking for drinks. 10/10. Oakland is the vibe.

When I first got to the door that's what I thought that it might be too classy for me. I thought to myself I don't know, it looks very Swanky in there. I told the doorman that I thought that it might be too classy in there. Is there anywhere near here that has beer? He told me that he thought that they had beer inside and that if they didn't I can always leave. So I took a chance and went inside while I waited for my friend in the rain. Lo and behold they serve fieldwork on tap. I was very excited. I also thought the chandeliers very nice and they have a great decor. Didn't try the cocktails but they look tasty as well.

Great drink selection and upscale cocktails. I opted for a beer but my wife assured me the cocktails were quite good. Attentive staff, quick service, great music, and lively atmosphere at this Uptown cocktail bar. We will be coming back for more, no doubt about it

My go-to drink is the Jetsetter, but last night we also tried the jello shots made with sparkling wine, green chartreuse, and lemon. These were somehow rendered complex, pleasingly effervescent, and not overly sweet -- like I said above, perfect!

My go-to drink is the Jetsetter, but last night we also tried the jello shots made with sparkling wine, green chartreuse, and lemon. These were somehow rendered complex, pleasingly effervescent, and not overly sweet -- like I said above, perfect!

The cocktails seemed overly complicated and the atmosphere was like they wanted it to be instagrammy but everything was cheaply designed. I was reminded of a prom due to the decoration and lights.

Interesting decor/my first time here/disappointed that the staff was frustrated with my desire to not leave my card on the counter for a tab due to data security concerns and the possibility of a phishing device hidden somewhere-they were miiffed about having to move the card reader system to the bar each time despite my paying nearly $10 a beer! Spent like $50 here on five draft beers-neither did they understand the need to not leave stuff behind /nor to not reveal one's personal identifying information on the card-rather than allow me to retain control of the card and protect the data from not only duplication but human view👀 the bartenders were trying to pressure me to run a tab which is not the modern method where the information is taken down once, after which only a signature is needed in the last four digits to pull up the account-they don't seem to be aware of the new school system and how it's supposed to be done with the customer plugging the chip in 💳 discreetly without any information shared/and signing out either each time or once at the very end! Instead they want to keep cards on the bar the old fashioned data compromising way-or handle the customer's card each time as if there could be no need for privacy! Perhaps when people are working in bars from other cities and other states they don't have such deep roots and such heavy political ties such that privacy matters? Lol
