We tried their pizza and it was really good. The place is nice and staff are friendly.
We had a Margherita slice, Grandma slice, and a regular slice. They were all good, but I preferred the Margherita. We also had a house salad, which was decent and fresh. And we split ravioli in a fra diavlo sauce, which was quite tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service and staff were great. The place was clean and welcoming!
Quality, consistent and close. The food is always delicious and dependable. The service is good and friendly and the pricing is great for a great meal! One of our favorites! 😁
I love Pizzaiola for their super nice staff and service! The food is good too! I always loved their lentil soup, chicken picatta and salads with grilled chicken! Good strong coffee too...
Food was delicious, Nice size portions. The waitress was very nice & attentive. Was my 1st time eating here. Highly recommend
Came in out of the rain and the staff was very attentive and concerned.
This was my first time at Pizzaiola, and I was impressed. The food was delicious and plentiful- most in our party brought home food for another meal. The service was friendly and accommodating. I would go back.
Fantastic pizza, that's all I can really talk to because that's all I ever had when I visit this restaurant. The regular, specialty slices, it's all good all the time. Worth eating there, get it fresh out of the oven.
I've been buying pizza there for past 2 years but only yday went in and had a sit down dinner inside. The stuff was great but the food was delicious from presentation to taste and the size. Was very happy to eat there
Great food, friendly service and good portions. The penne alla vodka is one of the best in the area.
I stop in here for their pizza, which is very good. I had two Marguerite slices and they were very good. Their Grandma slices are very good as well. I try lots of pizza on the South Shore of LI, and this is a place to try if you're in the area. I haven't tried their entrees yet, but I would bet they are good as well.
I've been here for pizza because they have a vegetable pizza out of this world. I decided to try dinner with my husband. There was a small seating problem, but it was my fault because we arrived when the eating sections were being closed and cleaned for closing time. My bad! Along came Diane! Diane was awesome. She apologized for the misunderstanding and got to work to ensure we were well taken care of. I ordered linguine De Mare. It was so delicious that I returned two days later with my husband and daughter. They were also impressed with the service and the food. This is now my go-to Italian restaurant at oceanside. Thanks to the owner for having great servers, managers, and bus boys.
Delicious food always. Fast service. We order delivery sometimes and it’s always delivered in a timely fashion. Everything on the menu is delicious I have never been dissatisfied with anything. Must try
Love the food, and the staff has always been very nice to us. Joe is one of the nicest guys around. If he was yelling at someone at work, they probably weren't doing their job. Been going there for over 10 years. They even helped us out during Sandy when we had no food, heat or electricity. We only have good things to say about this place.
Great pizza. Maybe the staff is a little surly but my interaction with them was limited so who cares. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had.
Ordered by phone for pickup. Food was ready exactly when they said. They have a separate wood burning oven for their 12 inch margarita style pies. Delicious. I had one with fresh sauteed shrimp on it.
My favorite pizza. I have no problem driving 20+ minutes or stopping by before a road trip. I’ll pay the $17+ for 3 cheese and one buffalo.
First time dining at Pizzaiola in Oceanside. Had lunch with owner Joe and some fishing buddies. We had Chicken Scarpariellom with Rigatoni. Delicious breads, red wine. We were treated like kings! Food was great, service excellent, nice atmosphere. I found a new Italian restaurant to go to.
Outstanding Food !!! . The veal is like butter no knife needed, the Calamari was exceptionally fresh and perfectly cooked. Pasta , salad, pizza , baked clams better then any fancy restaurant in New York and last by not least the Owners are 2 of the nicest people who will ever meet , you feel like Family when dining at Pizziola.Go go go !!!!
We drive from queens to enjoy the cuisine at la pizzaiola. The food is constantly outstanding. The owner Joe takes great pride in the preparation and serving of the food. He humbly attributes his high standards to his mother Rosa who is a superb chef with many years of experience in the culinary industry. I recommend pizzailoa without reservation its not your ordinary " pizza joint".
I've been going to Pizzaiola for 20 years. The food is terrific. The service is great, the price is affordable. Heads up. Portions are huge. If you happen to order a dinner entrée be prepared to have leftovers. I highly recommend you try the actual pizza too. Top 5 on Long Island in my opinion.
Awesome customer service. Were nice enough to stay a little past close to help us out late. Great pizza as well. RECOMMEND
Wow! I had the best meal!!! I come here couple times a month. My favs are Cesar salad. Dough skin pizza. margarita pizza. I’m veg and these are fabulous! My BF is not. He reccomends Shrimp cartoccio Calamari Arabiata. You can order a slice and eat fast. Or you can dine in and have a nice meal. The broccoli raab is so freaking good. I usually have left over and they heat up nicely. I just love Pizzaiola. The staff is attentive. The bread basket is full. The wine pours are plentiful. The sauce is so good. The smell will take you to heaven. They even have Diet Dr Pepper bottles.
My dad and I are long time customers both in the dining area and pizza counter. The slices are excellent!! Both Neapolitan and Sicilian. The food in the dining area is consistently very good. From salads to soups to pastas and fish. Everything is great! Service is excellent. We always come back. 😊
This is my first time here. I got a pepperoni slice, which was great being thin crust and just enough sauce and a pin wheel that I took home with extra sauce 2 days later. It was just as good. We'll order from here again.
This is the best pizza around! I got two slices of Grandma and had to eat one in the car! So good. And the employees are nice. I will drive out of my way to go here.
My wife loves this place. I like it. This is one of her favorite Italian restaurants. I think there are better places in the area. We both agree that the staff is very good and that the recently renovated decor is very nice. I hope I dont into trouble for posting this. I just dont want to argue with the Mrs. UPDATED - OCTOBER 5, 2022 I really like most of the people who work here. Overall...nice people. You can savecsome money if you pay wwith cash. UPDATE - DECEMBER 31, 2022 Still the same. All good. Save with cash. Nice people who run a professional business. UPDATE - MARCH 1, 2024 Still a quality place. VERY busy tonight...so be patient. If the line wasn't long the food wouldn't be good. Extra kudos for letting the local girl scouts set up shop to push their cookies outside. I have just upped my rating to five stars. UPDATE - JUNE 15, 2024 No need to update. Still a very nice place to eat (or take out from) that is wonderful to the community. UPDATE - NOVEMBER 21, 2025 I was prompted for another update. Again...it is not necessary. Relax and enjoy your food. UPDATE - MARCH 6, 2026 I was prompted again for another Review UPdate by Google. Again, there is no need to change the review. Its still a very nice placevand very popular in the local neighborhood. Yes, it still gets busy during peak times...but if it wasn't busy...it wouldn't be good. It's still well-worth the wait.
We’ve been customers for over 2 years and their pizza never fails to please the palate. Today when we received our pie, the cheese had slid to one side of the box. We called and without hesitation they sent us a fresh pie. We appreciate you 🍕😋 Great service, great people and amazing pizza!
Service was amazing. Sat down for Lunch. Love the Special Combo Pick 2. So many options to choose from. Avocado Salad was very good. Thin Pizza. Pasta Fajoili Soup was excellent. Our waitress keep checking on us. Definitely would go back. Ample parking.
This is truly a family neighborhood establishment. Joe, Diane and Angie always go out their way to make us feel at home. My 86 year young mom lives in Oceanside and goes all the time. The treat her like it’s their mom. Never had a bad meal, pizza kills it, we love the place
I used to live in the area and it was one of my go-to places. I moved away a few years back and when I was in town this week, I made sure to stop there. The owners still remembered me and the food was just as delicious! My boyfriend had the mussels and loved them. Can't recommend this place enough!!!
Best pizza place on Long Island in my opinion, garlic knots are also my favorite out of any Pizzeria anywhere. As for their dinner entrees they are also out of this world and fairly priced
I didn't stay but it could be a 5 on atmosphere. 3 double deck ovens and a brick ove make this place excellent at keeping up with a rush since depending on the size of the brick oven they have room to make up to 21 pizzas at the same time. I went in for a soup, their vegetarian minestrone soup is excellent. They had a large variety of slices ready to heat up and you can definitely dine in. Also for dessert there is frozen yogurt etc. 2 doors down.
If you live in Oceanside, and only walked into this venue just to pick up pizza you are sorely missing out on the hidden gems whipped up in this kitchen! Your initial reaction is to devour the basket of bread that’s initially brought out, but you need to hold off to save room for the food that will be coming out shortly, everything on the menu is delicious, Joe and Diane are gracious and always welcoming and we sincerely look forward to having our date night meal here. I highly recommend the cauliflower pizza made in the brick oven, Fried calamari, shrimp piccata, and again I reiterate everything on the menu is delicious and freshly made, you will not be disappointed! Tonight I tried a pomegranate salad, we were blown away. It was refreshing and delicious! Thank you to Joe, Diane and staff for always being so gracious and accommodating!
Every time I visit my friend in Oceanside, Long Island, they order from this joint. For good reason because the pizza here is legit. Seems like the salad pie is a fan favorite because who doesn’t love salad on a pizza- right? Their pepperoni pie has a hint of hot honey which is great too!
Went here to get a quick slice and some garlic knots and they were both very delicious! I’ve been coming here since my highschool days and they never disappoint!
We went there for an early dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy and we got seated right away. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. They have good quality plates and silverware. The bathroom was clean as well. Our orders were taken timely and we prepared in reasonable time. Everything was delicious! The branzino was superb! Even the greens it came with were excellent! Chicken parm and our salads were delicious as well. I could only grumble about prices: all the dishes are close to $30.
The chicken parm roll and the salad pizza are extremely tasty. Prior to coming here I had never had a salad pizza. This spot is amazing. Try out the salad pizza, you won’t regret it!! 10/10
Had a wonderful first experience at Pizzaiola! Our waitress, Diane, was very accommodating to a member of our party who has celiac disease. Everyone's food was delicious, and especially on pasta night! I hope to visit again soon!
Almost 5 buck for a plain slice. It's good but when will prices start going down. I know Its not their fault its almost 20 buck for 4 slices. When a whole pie is 27
Pizzaiola has excellent Italian food. The chicken parm hero is good with a generous portion of chicken. Their house salad is great with their creamy Italian dressing. The eggplant rolotini is delicious with two rolls in it and plenty of cheese. There is parking in front . Large parking lot for the strip mall. They have a payment for cash and an add on charge for credit cards. I do recommend pizzaiola.
Great pizza, can’t go wrong with a slice or pie from these guys! The issue is consistency with the gluten free pizza, sometimes it’s like a tortilla and sometimes it’s the normal low carb pie. Dinner dishes are portioned well, and very good!
Great meatball parm heros, pizza, pasta! They are consistently good, never disappoints. I always get take out here, but it has a good atmosphere for dining in, too.
Lots of take out, dining area too.. friendly, local
Great value on pasta dishes mondays.
Really great Risotto. My guest ordered off the menu and had eggplant rolatini Alfredo she loved it. They had no problems dealing with the request. Big breads basket to start and a generous pour for my wine. My risotto was excellent as well. In all an excellent meal at a great price.
Pizza is always good here however they need more variety change the pizza menu add different styles of pizza not just regular pepperoni buffalo and same others.
Good Italian place to have your typical favorite Italian dishes including pizza
This place is great! I ordered a pepperoni pinwheel, my friend ordered the Supremo Pizetta. The slice I stole was soft and crunchy, and quite easy to eat. The flavors were really good, and it was pretty great overall. The pinwheel was fantastic. The dough wasn’t overcooked or undercooked through and through it was cooked file. Tons of pepperoni and tons of mozzarella cheese, I’ll definitely order again! The only problem is it took us a pretty long time to get refills for the soda, over 10 minutes to see our waitress to ask for them. Not the greatest, but they’re busy, it happens. Overall I’m very satisfied, but I think next time I’m going to carry out!
I just had a pie from this place that tasted horrendous. Inconsistent…this place used to be amazing but has become hit or miss like a lot of the pizza in Nassau county. If they could be a little more consistent that would be great. Cold low quality pizza tn.
I’ve gone to Pizziola for years, but lately 2 bad experiences. On Mother’s Day, our server hardly spoke English. I did not get what I ordered. Tonight I ordered delivery, grandma pizza. Was cut so uneven it was ridiculous. The fried zucchini sticks were mushy and into the sauce. That has happened 4 times now. Very disappointing. Food was delicious, but quality has gone down.wish I could post pictures.
It's okay. $4 bucks for a slice is getting crazy. It went into the oven for literally 10 seconds. It was warm. But the char that was under the slice was a bit much. For 4 bucks I wasn't impressed. If it was 2.50 a slice I'd be all over it. I love me some pizza, and I was hungry when I got this, and I was still unwhelmed. Ehhh
I would of given 5 stars all around but the prices are very high for pizza by the slice.
Ate at Pizzaiola last Monday. The food was delicious but when I went to get bread out of the bread basket, I was shocked to see mold on it. The waitress insisted it was charred. Charred is black and this was green. Will not be going back. Just glad I had already eaten my dinner bc when I saw that, I lost the rest of my appetite!
I order chicken parm ($15) to go which took almost 30 minutes. Once I went to eat it, the chicken was extremely tough and hard to eat. The staff was friendly, wished the food came out better.
This restaurant might have great food but don't order or go to this restaurant when it is real busy. On Friday, January 22, the inside look like Black Friday in Walmart. The staff didn't know how to handle flux of orders. The phone wasn't being answering. Customers in line with me were upset orders they placed before showing up weren't ready after 45 minutes. Then the poor UberEats and Doordash drivers had to wait as they were waiting too on a separate line. Now my other party I met in Chipotle, it was crazy but the staff handled line good.
I always order crumbled sausage on pizza here because may local places don't have it but they charge so much for it and barely give you any now. This pie is now $38.50. We always order well done. It came barely done but worst of all it was so costly.
Buff chicken slice used to be really good here. The past few times it has been bad. Whoever has been making them recently needs to stop. Regular slice and sicillian slices had way to much cheese. Place is falling off.
I had ordered the fried burrata cheese and it was sour. The waitress was nice the man who came over after was condescending and rude when I said it was sour. Insinuating I just didn’t want to pay for it…… I asked for the check to pay for the other food in the table which was 1 reg slice of pizza and 2 sodas. I would not come back
Horrible service-Horrible food-Disrespectful manager and staff! Will never be back! Been a customer 20 years. They slam their ovens when closing them and add extra noise for no reason. Unsanitary place if you look around and observe. See ya
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for one the food was extremely expensive for one pizza we paid $44 dollars. Our order was done wrong leaving us with half of the toppings. I called to inform the company they advised they would be giving a refund I had to call for two days trying to get them to process the refund the manager was always too busy to come to the phone to apologize to us and had his staff who was in a rush to get rid of us deal with the issue. Even typing this now I still haven’t gotten my refund processed. I am also a business owner and this is the worst experience I have had with any type of company.
Awful, disgusting management. It deserves to be owned by new people. The boss and manager Joe and Diane verbally and emotionally abuse their employees. I witnessed Diane screaming at her hostesses for not seating me down although I had just arrived. Not even a second after I arrived she screamed at them. Joe is even worse, this big bald guy goes around screaming and eating 5 meals a day while his employees do not eat the entire shift. He screams at kids and employees and even customers! They are both awful as they talk badly about their employees that are under 20. They are practically babies. A very upset mother came in and screamed at Diane for talking badly about her daughter who worked there. Joe even screamed at a hostess for not being able to find coverage. These people do not care for you or anyone. When they see people they are friends with they treat them with kindness and love but everyone else gets eyes rolls, screamed at and in general awful. They do not deserve to work there
The management in this place is horrible and the owners are disrespectful . i saw diane sit down and eat while her workers are working . are you serious? she sits down and eats her meal and on her shift. I also see her leave for her break for 3 hours then comes back like don’t leave during a shift what.her workers look miserable .the bald man is the nicest one there and the counter guys are amazing. Diane should be fired her work quality is awful and should not be represented in this restaurant.
Food was good, eventually. Kitchen was very slow. And, on first try, they got one entree correct and one completely wrong. So then a second longer than appropriate wait. Not a fun experience. One glass of water. No one refilled the glass. Their food and service is usually good. Guys! Get it together.
Terrible experience today… unbelievable I was so disappointed . I ordered a slice of pepperoni and the slice had over 30 pepperonis stacked on top like not even spread on the entire pizza just looked thrown on top .. the pepperonis were partial cold like not even warmed up at all it was still fridge cold lol ! It looked rushed mean while the store it’s self was empty so I don’t understand what was the rush for lol … it wasn’t even for me it was for my daughter smh . Never again will I go here ..
Went for dinner and the hostess seated a party of four. We were waiting for a table and so were a party 5 other people. They complained about it and then everyone was seated. Tables seated after us got bread and water. Waitress gave my husband a bottle of soda and no cup. I asked for seltzer and she told me none in bottles so I asked if any on tap. She said yes and rolled her eyes and walked away. Ten minutes later we had no water and had eaten all the bread. My drink never came so we were sharing a bottle of Diet Coke. The same waitress took orders for tables who were seated after us. We never complained or were rude. We just sat down waiting. So we stood up and told the girl at the front about everything. We left and will never go back. You can’t serve customers correctly and are understaffed. Horrible service and it’s management issue bc staff in charge looked like teens. 2-3 Waitstaff for entire place and tons of bus boys. Get your act together bc you’re losing customers.
This was my go to place whenever I wanted to enjoy a nice Sicilian slice. My husband and I decided to eat inside the other day.. well let me tell you I will not be going back! While eating we saw roaches crawling over the seating area. We informed a waiter who just went to the area and killed the bug and went straight into the kitchen! So disgusted that they didn’t even disinfect the area and acted like nothing! Never again and beware!
It pains me to have to leave this review because we've been a customer of Pizzaola for 20 years but there is something seriously wrong with the staff behind the counter. Im specifically talking about the short bald guy. On more ocassions than one, he has been horribly rude to my family and we have been nothing but kind, loyal customers. He has such an attitude and everytime we go in there he takes it out on us. After our third bad interaction we had which included ignoring us when it was our turn to be waited on and not responding with even so much as a grunt when we said thank you for the pizza, we decided we have had enough. Who treats their customers this way? This disgusting behavior seems specifically directed at certain customers too. We overheard the same staff member being nice to others which made us feel even worse. Despite the pizza being really good, on principle we probably won't eat here again. We've also told multiple people Pizzaolas staff is disrespectful and we suspect possibly racist. Such a shame but a business should honestly care more about disgruntled employees and being nice to their customers. Wondering if anyone else had similar interactions? Please like this review if you have. I'm curious.
Called for delivery and the girl who picked up the phone was extremely rude..Have ate here before many times and not coming back after that.
The food is treat, service is awful. No greeting when you walk in. Waited 10 minutes to be served, while people who came in after me received help before I did. Oh well plenty of other places to order pizza. This is not the first time this happened either
this comment is solely for Diane who answers the phone. i was trying to pay for someone’s meal that was dining there and her response was we are too busy to help you you should have come in. disgusting and your wait staff can thank you for a smaller tip as i was very willing to give a large tip for doing a nice thing for someone! sad bc the restaurant has good food but easily ruined by an obnoxious woman.
Ordered 1 plain pie and one with 1/2meatball and1/2 peperoni to be delivered We called at 1030 am for a 12 o'clock lunch didn't show up until 1230 I explained while ordering that the men take lunch at 12.00 and only have a half hour When we received the Pizza it was cold and not what we ordered . It was supposed to be 1 pie well done thin crust 1 pie 1/2 meatball 1/2 pepperoni thin crust and well done The pies were regular crust not well done I received the second pie with meatballs and peperoni on both sides of the pie I don't recommend this place ate all
Ordered a cheese pie it was burnt !!!! I dont know what is going on here. Pizziola used to be on top. So sad 😞
Food was terrible ordered a buffalo slice and a regular slice a calzone and small drink it was $25.00 and the food was hard and dried out
Ordered a pie and calamari for super bowl Sunday and live close by. Food never ended up arriving and after calling, learned they mistakenly thought we were picking up (which is an understandable mistake.) When the food finally arrived, the calamari was cold, and pizza was clearly reheated because of how chewy and scabby the cheese was. When calling back, the girl on the phone was quite condescending and rude to my mother, saying that the food was made "fresh" - meanwhile I know she wouldn't speak to a customer like this in person. Overall horrible service, but I still don't understand what made them think it was okay to deliver reheated food that sat for over an hour- it's disgusting. Then they act like they were doing us a favor. Fought for a refund on an already overpriced order that was thrown out. Hats off to you Pizzaiola! The most classless pizzeria in Oceanside!
This is How they treat customers, I was standing just in front of him for order, he didn’t even looked at me or asked me if I need help. He started taking orders for other customers who were after me in the line. It feels like he totally ignored me because I’m Indian. I use to work on the same block at AT&T store. Being a regular customer still they treated me like this just because we usually take slices of pizza for lunch or whatever their biased reason is. No doubt food is good, atmosphere is good but it’s all about customer service. This is 3rd time I got ignored so I am writing down the review. Thanks I always recommend and support the people with small business but everyone deserves respect.
Complete rip off save your money . I took out 3 dishes for 79.00 one being rigatoni alla vodka which was more than half a serving. Chicken Francese with about 3 pieces of chicken same on the Marsala with some sides of spaghetti that comes with it. Complete Rip-off never again I’ll stay with lias I should have known better. I’ll be disputing the charge. Absolutely robbery 29.00 at most for absolutely No servings save your money go somewhere else .. complete rip-off !!
very overpriced for a regular slice and one order of garlic knots was over $8 and like other customers the short bald gentleman really does seem to hate his job he does not know how to greet customers instead he stares at them waiting for them to speak he did not heat my order I specially told him to go in the beginning and yet he still seemed confused if it was dine in or to go also anytime you say thank you to him you never hear a response he really seems like he hates his job and people! the food was he overpriced, cold and very bland as for the gentleman behind the counter he did seem like a nice guy probably experiencing burnout of some sorts I hope management sees to it that his needs are met or that he is offered a different role in the establishment :)
I am honestly appalled by my last 2 experiences here within a month. I visit from time to time, but doubt I ever will now. I gave this place a chance twice this month, despite preferring another local spot, but I deeply regret it. Ordered a full pie that was half pepperoni, half cheese pizza—barely any cheese, skimpy on the pepperoni, and overpriced. Quality was trash. Next time, I decided to try slices instead since their buffalo chicken is usually good, but that was a letdown too. Small slice for $5.75, tiny pinwheels for $4.50, and they tried charging $3 per side of ranch. When I refused, the cashier angrily tossed them in the trash after angrily jabbing the computer screen to adjust the order. I asked for the red sauce that should come with pinwheels, and they told me that's extra charges. Poor food, even worse service. 2 slices and 2 pinwheels and we were still hungry, for over 22$ of food, never mind the charge with the side ranch and sauce. Never coming back.
I had banned this place a few years back after the food and service were getting progressively worse and my family also encountered something unsanitary happen behind the counter - a worker licking his fingers as he was putting peeperoni on a pie. I decided to give it another try tonight after a couple of years and the pizza crust was like a cold wet noodle, chewy cheese and bland can sauce. Now a half a pie going in the garbage and I feel sick. Re-banned.
0/10 Horrible Experience. 1st and last time ever ordering from this place. I placed an order a day in advance for a Pie and Garlic Knots to be delivered for a school lunch party. I let whoever took my order know that it was to be delivered for 11:45 because that is their lunch time. Google maps tells me this place is 6mins away. I received my order at 12:15 COLD! Children had to rush for their last 5 mins of lunch and eat cold pizza! how bizarre is this?? Called to speak with a manager & what was that for? received the nastiest tone and attitude from Augie as if this was my fault? he was so annoyed that i called and complained and tried to justify by saying he was making it fresh which is why it took longer…??? WHAT?! make it make sense!! obviously it should be fresh they open at 11am !! you know you have a delivery for 11:45!!! it takes 15-18 mins to make a pie so that justification really didnt justify anything.. So annoyed and disappointed! i even said to him 10mins late okay, 15mins late okay but 30mins late???! absolutely ridiculous. Cold pizza and very hangry kids dont mix well. #PizzaPartyGoneWrong
I really like the food at Pizzaiola, which is why I keep coming back, but the staff experience is consistently uncomfortable. I honestly don’t know what’s going on with the employees, but they always seem angry or unhappy to be there. Whether I’m picking up an order, ordering in the front, or dining in with my partner, the vibe is always tense. There’s no greeting, no guidance, no basic interaction. I’ll stand there in front of them and they just stare, without saying a word. I’m not asking for conversation or anything extra, but basic courtesy should be part of working in customer service. It’s disappointing because the food is good, but the attitude of the staff really ruins the experience. A little professionalism would go a long way.
This restaurant employees people who’ve allegedly engaged in discriminatory actions to marginalized communities, I encourage people to support establishments that uplift people, unfortunately this one doesn’t.
The food is ok ! But I don’t like it when they pick up the pizzas and rice balls with their bare hands ! I don’t know if they wash their hands properly! They don’t use gloves ever. Every time I come here there’s a short balled man ! He is so nasty . Very rude he doesn’t know how to speak to customers! He’s not polite at all . I just went in to order a rice ball and bald short guy was at the front because he takes orders. I tried to tell him my order but he completely ignored me and pretended not to hear me . Someone else’s took my order which that was fine. Again they used their bare hands . After I got my order and i went home I took a bite of the rice ball and it was very nasty . It was very saggy like it’s been out all day . It’s wasn’t fresh at all . This will be my last time coming here .
This place has gone down hill. We used to love coming here, good food, decent prices, friendly people. Not sure what happened, but the prices have been jacked and the service is terrible. Placed an order for deliver (a pie and a salad) they said 45 min. About an hour later I call to check in, they say it's on the way. 20 minutes after that I call to check in again, they said it's on the way and there's no way they can call the delivery driver for an update. I asked "what they would normally do in a situation like this, we've been waiting an hour and a half for a 45 minute delivery, I guess there's nothing they can do?" and the hostess just hangs up on me.
This place changed. I used to praise their pizza it was sooooooo good all the time consistent fresh delicious. They took away white slices because theyre “old school”? Like who cares old school is good. There was nothing wrong with their sicilian slices and they decided to ruin them by adding a gross extra plop of sauce randomly on top. Their grandma slices are terrible now nothing like they used to be. Ive spoken to locals about it and they agree. The tall balled owner is nasty not nice and arrogant. When the place falls off maybe then hell take his customers feed back and change.
Ordered delivery. Chicken parm hero size and price is not worth it at all, compared to other places. Worst part is the paninis they advertise as “Pollo E Rabe Panino Homemade garlic basted rolls stuffed with marinated grilled chicken, sauteed broccoli rabe, fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers.” Arrive as hard as a rock Italian bread, arugula , paper thin chicken and tomato’s. Not at all what is advertised. They could simply cancel the item but no.
I ordered pizza and sat at the table. I waited for 15 minutes. The employee heated up the pizza and kept it next to him, so I thought that if the pizza was inside, the offsets would bring it to me. 15 minutes later, we asked where my pizza was and I was given a very bad answer. The pizza didn't taste good and it wasn't good pizza. Then the Manager came and she behaved very badly, not to mention her employees.
