Donuts and Me is known for its fresh, custom-made donuts and welcoming staff, especially Yurani. Customers rave about the warm, gooey donuts with unique flavor options. Some find the wait times long and the toppings skimpy for the price.
Tip: Be prepared to wait a bit longer since the donuts are made to order. Eat them ASAP to enjoy them at their best while they're still warm.
Friendly staff...great Donuts... Blueberry...Cinnamon... Chocolate. .French Toast...Cookie Crumble...nice Mocha Latte..Caramel Latte...must go place in Orange, CT
As soon as you walk in it feels very fun and welcoming. The fact that they have a big variety of donuts and you get to see the staff as they prepare your donuts one by one is pretty cool. My girls are teens now and they enjoyed watching their donuts come to live. We had 6 different flavors. I do have to say, they are super sweet, so if you don’t like very sweet things, this is not the place for you. Each donut is like a special desert and it’s absolutely worth trying.
Fantastic donuts with a great variety to choose from! The staff was warm, welcoming, and made the experience even better. Each donut we tried was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re a donut lover!
Oh. My. Donut. 🍩 I only picked up four, but it felt like I brought home a box of treasure. They were still warm when I got back, and each bite tasted like sweet, fluffy heaven. Colorful, creative, playful, and downright delicious – each donut was a tiny, edible masterpiece. Every bite was a mini celebration, a feast for the senses. These donuts didn’t just brighten my day – they made my day. A true feast for the soul.
These donuts are incredible! Definitely best eaten ASAP—they’re so good.
I was not aware that the donuts were made to order. Got a half a dozen to share. Was really happy with the one I picked and no one was disappointed. They are a bit smaller than an average donut but that didn't make them taste any worse. It was about an hour ride so won't be a regular thing.
My first time here and let me tell you I was floored first thing you see and hear is the most incredible welcoming from Yurani then she walked us through the menu once we made a choice the amazing flavors of the bake in the sun and many others I will shamefully not mention but I must say we had a Yuranimoooooo experience Thank you
So delicious! These donuts are made to order and that’s what makes them so good! (and the whole process was much quicker than anticipated) The donuts are warm and gooey and they have such fun and unique options! If you want a real donut for a change - this is your place! Yes all the donuts in the photo are eaten… we just couldn’t wait! My one critique is I wish there was more seating inside !
What can I say? I am a sucker for donuts, and man, does this place check ALL the boxes. There is a counter to place your order if you'd like, or there is a kiosk you can use to order as well. There's so many options that you are bound to find a few of their donuts that won't disappoint you. And if you're feeling spicy, you can make your own donut with their bountiful toppings. Each and every donut we had was so packed with flavor they were all to die for, not to mention they were toasty as well, which is a surprisingly nice touch. Not to mention, the presentation is off the charts for these donuts. If it wasn't such a drive, I personally would be here EVERY weekend. I will be coming back for sure when I can.
I drive far and wide for donuts and these are some of the best I’ve had. Made to order hot soft and fresh prepared right in front of you. Design your own. Exotic combinations. Fantastic! Annnd the price is right 🤌

Ignore the 1 star reviews, they're either rivals or don't understand this place is a new place with FRESH DONUTS, if you want faster service go to stale Dunkins (which honestly this was fast for FRESH!) Phenomenal donuts for the price, fresh off the fryer and you watch them make it. I'd give them 10/10 if i could, will be coming regularly
First time trying duck donuts. Look at the menu before you go to not hold up the line at the cashier. It's super busy! The donuts are made fresh and are warm! We ordered a dozen. The service was a little slow but thats to be expected in a busy store and making them fresh. There is VERY limited seating. You can mix and match your frosting and your toppings to create your own donuts. This seasons special is cookie butter. Delicious!
What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! Super friendly staff and the doughnuts were perfect! Will definitely be going as often as my tummy lets me.
Great donuts. It's best to order ahead and pick up vs walking in and waiting.
Delicious donuts especially when warm. 🍩
Going here when I feel like a Donut from now on. This is a real donut!
Happy they finally opened a location close by, look no further for fresh warm donuts accompanied by attentive staff and a clean shop. Will be back for more!
Super cute place. My son loves the donuts here. And he loves to play with the rubber ducks while waiting.
Loved this place in the OBX. So happy there's one close by now. Reminds us of our vacation in the OBX. Freshly made donuts with toppings we like
This place is amazing and very unique highly recommended to visit atleast ones
Great place to get office donuts, Great service. Highly recommend.
I didn't go personally but I got gifted a donut from here and I've been raving about it all day! I can't wait to go back now and try more
So happy Duck donuts made it to CT, wish you were closer to me but I’ll drive for warm tasty donuts 🍩
Came in right before closing still got amazing service and the donuts are amazing will be coming back
Great service - the donuts ,the staff and everyone was so polite even though the place was packed
Great donuts great service would recommend
Soooo good. Delicious, fresh and warm!!! I am so happy we tried this place.
The donuts are rich and fresh. Amazing 10 out of 10!
best donuts I’ve honestly ever had 10/10
Quaint little fun shop, very friendly owner and had one of the best donuts i’ve ever had. Definitely recommend.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take any photos of the donuts because my fiancé and I devoured them LOL. We placed our order online and it was very convenient that they have a pre-order drive-thru window this way you do not have to go inside and wait in line to pick up your order. We ordered a Glazed, Cinnamon sugar, and Blueberry streusel. 10/10 would recommend!
The newest and best thing to hit CT. Made to order, cake like donuts are not too big, not too small and just as tasty as you can image. So many varieties...I could sit in the shop all day and eat every one. Go there NOW!! Paul
Everyone needs to try these donuts. Most incredible donuts I have ever tasted. I'm hooked. WARM FRESH DONUTS!!!
Amazing donuts! The boardwalk was to die for. The donuts are so fresh and warm. Made to order right in front of you. Staff is so friendly, atmosphere is great. Would definitely come here again!
Staff is phenomenal. Considering made to order, it’s actually really quick. Highly recommend.
I love this place!! The young lady named Jasmine was very helpful and kind at register.
Amazing fresh donuts! So cool to see them be made to order and they are perfect for that sweet craving. Went with my family and can’t wait to go back and bring some back home!
These donuts were literally made fresh to order. Every flavor we got was delicious!
These donuts are awesome. Really love how they're made right in front of you so you know they will be hot and fresh unlike other donut shops out there.
Amazing donuts, amazing coffee, amazing straws. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Best donuts I have ever had! They are so fresh made to order. I will definitely go back!
These have to be the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. Had to come again because omg! Everyone is so nice too!
Took a trip there from Stamford Hospital to pick up donuts for my coworkers. Brought a box of donuts back and they were gone and a half hour! Amazing donuts, would go there from anywhere in Connecticut!
I heard about Duck Donuts from my boss a few months ago & he mentioned there was one in Connecticut. I had a doctors appointment so I knew I'd be late for work so I stopped by to pick some up. I placed my order & found out ALL their Donuts are MADE FRESH TO ORDER, so I picked up a dozen & they were AMAZING!! I HIGHLY recommend going there if you are in the area. I will definitely go back & take my nieces kids there. They would love it. ❤
This location is great! They were very clean and the donut was made fresh n delicious. The ducks are adorable!!
I LOVE this place. When I'm in this part of CT traveling on vacation, I often pass by and sometimes visit, but when we visit, it's great. The sign is probably humanity's best invention by far. This place is better than a Dunkin'
I have never had fresh donuts in my life. And I’m never going back to anything else. Best donuts, duck donuts. All of them were lovely flavors. Lemon coconut, strawberry chocolate, maple French toast ( I think). Many more to try. I never write reviews. But had to appreciate all the thought process behind all of this. 👏🏽
1st time here, we ordered online and the workers were so nice and helpful with accommodations for our order. We had some food restrictions and they were very patient and nice.
Amazing donuts! They’re always fresh and tasty, my favorite is the blueberry.
Duck Donuts is a game-changer! The donuts are made fresh to order, warm, soft, and customizable with tons of fun toppings and drizzles. You can really taste the difference — they’re not your typical bakery donuts. The staff was super friendly and helped me pick out some awesome flavor combos. Whether you go classic or crazy with your choices, you can’t go wrong. Perfect spot for a sweet treat!
Delicious and fresh donuts!! Kept leftovers in the box they come in & the next day they were still fresh. Didn’t get stale over night at all!
I don't really write reviews but I love to read them. As an experienced food service professional I understand the struggle that is opening weekend and Duck Donuts is doing it right. Place looks great, the donuts are delicious, bought a dozen and only 8 made it home. Fresh and tasty, you have to experience them for yourself. I'm sure these guys will work out the kinks and produce flawless excellence. Seriously tho, these donuts are🔥 and if a little of one spreads to the other, well that's a sweet little bonus!
First time trying this place. It's very clean inside. The staff greet you and they're very friendly. The donuts are delicious! I cannot wait to go again and try more. I'd definitely recommend you try it, if you haven't already. 😃
Donuts are so cakey, soft and moist. Extremely delicious 😍 I got a random dozen for Nurses Week at work, and they disappeared by lunch. Such a fun treat and will be coming back, all the employees were so friendly and sweet too! ☺️
Jurany is the excitement in this place. As a business owner I understand the value of high energy and excitement. She is True asset to duck donuts. Now the donuts are amazing. It was my first time here and I thought it was fantastic. The warmth of donut and explosive flavor brought me back to my childhood when we were young and we used to eat warm donuts. Not this cold garbage from Dunkin donuts. This place is a true treasure.
We drove by this place dozens of times and decided to try it today. The only regret I have is not stoping sooner. They make the donuts fresh in front of you and the lady who worked there was very patient with my 4 year old that could not make up his mind. We ate at the location as this was my son’s choice. The lady came over to make sure everything was going good. The staff was awesome and truly one of the best donuts I’ve had.
Absolutely fantastic donuts. Highly fresh (I watched the staffer pour the batter into the heated oil). It just doesn't get better than that. Each donut is custom built. You need to remember this as you cannot go to this place in a hurry. Oh yes, the coffee is outstanding too. Back to the donuts: they are all custom built. So if it is crowded or really busy, it is going to take some time. Try to be patient, as it is worth it. Or go during an off-hour at some point during the day. The team at Duck Donuts handles every donut like it is a masterpiece. One donut isn't a long wait. A dozen is going to take some time (order online for an easier experience and pickup in-store). The cool thing; I've had Duck Donuts since before this store opened (I had them in South Carolina many times). The quality is 100% consistent and always excellent. They are a specific kind of donut (no filling(s) inside). They are different than Krispy Kreme, Mochinut, Dunkin, etc.. I wouldn't put Dunkin in the league with Duck anyway. The ingredients are all top quality. It's just an excellent donut.

I love that they make the donuts fresh to order, however its a bit of a gimmick. Frosting and toppings do not stick or sit well on a piping hot donut. Wait time is a bit longer due to the process, which is fine . I just don't know it the whole shebang was worth the trip. Great atmosphere, however the lady behind the counter did not share my excitement to be there. Over all donuts are good, variety is fantastic, price is right, just not sure I'd go out my way again.
The donuts are made fresh when you order them and then are dressed according to whatever flavors you chose and because they only make donuts in the traditional ring shape, there are no filled donuts ie ones with jelly, custard, cremes, etc. the problem with that is that if you don’t eat them right away, you’re missing out so a 10-15 minute ride home and they were already on the cooler side (but still slightly warm). I bought 6 and sampled all of them. The only stand out to me was the plain glazed which is very reminiscent of a Krispy Kreme glazed but denser. The second best was the strawberry frosted with rainbow sprinkles and the worst one was whatever the chocolate one was. All of the other flavors were just too much and too sweet, I feel like the flavors and frostings might be better drizzled on instead of dipped. Sadly, at essentially $2 a donut (it was close to $14 for a half a dozen), it just doesn’t seem like a place worth going out of one’s way to go and get unless you live close by or are going to eat them in your car.

Ordered online. Got there and waited didn’t see my order. So I got in the order line and asked about it. They never received the order. The guy at the counter was really nice though. I got a build your own half dozen. He wrote down what we got and made it right away. I’m only mentioning it in my review so the business can fix that. The donuts were really good! It’s a bit of a drive for me but I would like to visit again and try other flavors.

First time for me today, I have to say that it was a good experience. Freshly made on the spot.
All donuts initially cooked then prepared specifically to your choices. Decorated fresh while you wait.
It was my first time trying Duck Donuts.. I'm not a huge fan of donuts. This is my personal opinion. They offer many different types of flavors and options for donuts. The staff cooks up the donuts in front of you, which is cool to watch. I highly recommend checking them out at least once. The employees seem friendly and hard working.
Was looking forward to trying the donuts but my experience is mixed. First of all, the staff is very friendly and accommodating so 5 stars for that. I was disappointed with what I ordered vs what I received. For the price, they skimmed on the toppings and some of the donuts were missing a good coating for the base before I even took them out the store. They were pretty busy so I didn’t bother to mention anything and assumed everything else was fine. However, when I came home and looked at the donuts, I realized some of them were not made as pictured. Like the thin mint donut (shown in the photo on the bottom right) did not have the vanilla drizzle and barely any mint crumbs, the vanilla coconut caramel delight (shown in the photo top right) did not have the caramel cookie crumble or hot fudge drizzle. The donuts are really moist and the different topping options are like no other. I understand it’s difficult to keep up with so many different combos and orders but for the price and the long wait time, I had higher expectations. 😔

All the donuts tasted the same. The donuts were a mess in the box. The icing melted all over the place. It is a sweet one note treat.
Came early on a Saturday morning. Not crowded at all. They were out of most items on the menu except donuts. The donuts are overpriced and small. Not impressed. They got my order wrong but staff seemed to be working hard and they were polite. I think I could live without going back!
The staff is extremely friendly and I loved the Blueberry pancake donut, however the service was slow and I waited 40 min for my order. The coffees got all mixed up and the iced caramel macchiato didn’t taste like caramel. I had ordered a dozen donuts for a work function and the frosting was all over the place and they were out of the breakfast sandwiches. I hope it will be better the next time I go in.
Place is nice and new.. only 2 other ppl where there when I walked in, waited a good amount of time to order (was just about to walk out) only ordered a Carmel iced macchiato. This took a lot longer then I expected. Service was not great. They were nice enough just very slow. And messed up both orders before me. I was hoping for a better experience but it is what it is , I gave them a shot. So slow. I should have known better when I saw the Dunkin drink next to the register.

Had to try the new donut place down the road. Below average donut I’m sadden to say. I would take Krispy Kreme and especially crazy donut over them. Crazy donut is light years ahead of this place, It’s unbelievable. It’s like a Entenmann's Soft'ees Plain Donut with frosting and other stuff on it. Probably the worst glazed donut From a legit donut store I’ve ever had. Would take a Dunkin’ Donuts glaze over them in a heartbeat! 2 stars because of the nice staff they have. Only reason or it would be 1.
Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and a half dozen donuts, roughly 3 customers ahead of me and some online pre-orders. 30 minute wait time, breakfast sandwiches came out 5 minutes before the donuts, and the donuts ordered were incorrect, it became crowded and I quickly noticed how the staff was falling behind, I understand what they're trying to do, but it was a poor experience overall, standing there not knowing why customers who ordered after me were getting orders beforehand, seems they're still working out the new business woes, I wish them good luck. Gladly try again in the future to see if they improve.
Slow as hell! The employees move at a glacial pace and they don’t seem to be the cleanest either. Also the music is BLASTING in here, absolutely unnecessary and annoying!! Order came out in drips and drabs, nowhere to sit, and a sea of people waiting, waiting, waiting. I feel like I’m at Coachella, not a donut place.
This morning I ordered online a bacon egg and cheese, a donut, and a cold brew coffee. Their bacon egg and cheese was fine, the donut was perfect, but the cold brew was probably the worst cold brew I have ever had in my life. I ordered sweet cream and when I got there, apparently they didn’t have any. Not only did they not have the sweet cream, but when I walked in I wasn’t greeted, the workers ignored me and didn’t ask if they could help or if I was waiting on an order or anything. It wasn’t busy, there were 3 customers inside the store including myself. So I stood there for about 15 minutes before my food was ready. I had to physically go up to the corner and look through the pickup orders on the counter to find mine and just take it and leave. The employees there need some serious education on hospitality
I picked up a half dozen. The box had frosting covering the sides. A bit messy in my opinion. I ignored that and tried the donuts but was not impressed. The maple bacon donut had pieces of bacon that smelled bad. So I had to throw it away. The other donuts were okay on the flavor side. Donuts are on the thicker side like a cake consistency. But the flavors didn't live up to the hype!
Worse experience in my lifetime ordering a single donut. Never been to Duck Donuts but was recommended on Instagram as best place in CT for a donut. You walk in and presented with kiosk to order. Staff says order from kiosk. No selection to visibly see like most all other donut shops. OK no problem. Ordered on kiosk. Payment is card only. They don't cash. Now you wait. And wait. Staff are moving but does not look efficient. Not sure how long it should take but my single donut (1 donut) took 15 minutes to make. It was not busy either. Others there were waiting too. Actual donut was not big. Not worth nearly $3.00 for a single donut. I will not be returning. I don't see the hype.
First experience is everything to keep customers coming back. I ordered a half dozen assorted online came in a bit early so I told them to take their time cause I know I was early. I wasn’t greeted at all instead I was just stared at by the cashier while she picked in her ears and wiped the wax on her apron. DISGUSTING!! (I hope she wasn’t making donuts!) Still got my donuts two minutes after being there which means they were rushed. The box was warm so I can tell the donuts just came out. Any real donut maker knows the frosting isn’t going to stick if the donuts are fresh out the oven or oil. My glazed donuts weren’t glazed at all and the frosting to the other donuts were melted which made it not appealing or appetizing at all. I waited to get home to eat them of course so they can cool down and hopefully the frosting would have settled but the glazed completely melted and didn’t taste like glazed and all the other donuts were stuck to the box because of the frosting melting. I was craving donuts since I’m pregnant and this was a big disappointment for me because I didn’t enjoy them at all.

The online ordering system crashed and now you can't order ahead and they wouldn't accept orders over the phone. So you have to squeeze into their tiny parking lot and wait forever in line to order and receive your purchase. What a waste. Very poor preparation and service.
Was excited to give this place a try - the box was covered in frosting and it was caked on the bottom and got all over my sweatshirt and the inside of my car. I had to go in to get it wiped off and it was still everywhere. Actually, the whole counter was a mess and the area they decorate the donuts in was totally visible and completely gross. The coffee was supposed to be a caramel macchiato. Had zero sweetness so I had to go back in and ask them to fix it. Brought it back to my car and it tasted THE EXACT SAME. Had to go in a 2nd time. Finally opened the donuts and realized one was the totally wrong donut and had to go in a 3RD TIME. They tried to argue with me about the donut being wrong! He (Christopher) tried to tell me it was seasonal which it wasn’t, tried me make he feel like I was an idiot or being rude for just asking for what ordered, and if it was seasonal why would the cashier take my order then just give me a different donut? Awful service; can’t get a damn thing right and aren’t even apologetic or helpful. I’d give ZERO stars if that was an option
We were so excited to try out Duck Donuts. Unfortunately, the service and donuts weren't the greatest. We ordered two coffees and half a dozen of donuts. We were told there was no coffee to make make iced coffee, cold brew or Frappes. Instead of letting us change our minds to get regular coffees the person automatically refunded us. However, after us three people received iced coffees. We were a little confused. We proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for our donuts. There was icing under the box when the employee handed the box to us. There was no napkins anywhere to found. We opened the box when we got to the car to see the donuts were messy and icing was everywhere. The prices aren't cheap. There was also not a lot seating so everyone was pretty much standing until you name was called. That's the other thing ...the employees need to be louder when calling out customers names.
I have been to other duck donuts locations so expected to get fresh donuts that they are known for. But the donuts tasted stale and a bit undercooked. Maybe it’s because they are new. But I expected better.
If you go here, prepare to wait an extra 20-30 minutes to get 4 donuts. Also be aware DoorDash doesn’t work for them so receipts were not going through. Waited 20 minutes JUST for them to let us know it wasn’t working after I already paid. Was told if I put a new order in, it would take ANOTHER 20-30 minutes. I understand it gets busy but what a waste of time and no one checked in on us which could have saved us time. We left with nothing simply because we had no time to wait another 20-30 minutes for 4 donuts and a coffee.
Donuts here are not good and very pricy. I didn’t order anything else and other things may be good but plenty of better donuts at other places. I won’t be back.
The employees were not happy to be here this morning on Black Friday, it wasn’t busy yet they were full of attitude especially the one preparing the donuts and it was just as cold as outside is inside.
If you like greasy donuts, slow service and "fresh" coffee, this is your place
I just ordered one doughnut to go with my coffee on my way to work and had planned to come back tomorrow and buy two dozen for my team. However, this was supposed to be a “freshly” made doughnut. But it taste absolutely disgusting. I feel it was fried in old oil and in a dirty pan. I called the store and reached the gentleman that had just served me and he said they just “changed the oil less than a week ago.” Well there you have it, they’re not using clean oil and not cleaning their pans daily. I told him that’s unacceptable to use grease that sat for several days and that’s why it has that old and disgusting taste. Also, while serving food, he was eating and drinking. They really need to check their hygiene issues.
Such incredibly slow service. Went in at a non-busy time with only one other person in line. That person needed to ask for a refund because it was taking so long for the donuts. It took a total of 20 minutes from when I placed the order to get 6 donuts. Also not confident in the cleanliness of staff. Although the person making the donuts was wearing gloves- he continually touched his pants and other dirty surfaces without changing them and then going back to the donuts with the same contaminated gloves.
