Tip: If you prefer less sweetness, consider asking for "easy sweet," though some reviewers noted it didn't always make a difference. You can also order via their app for rewards points.

Just came from here, the tea is very good it tastes like they use a sweet cream in it! Also I like that the boba isn't hot, because at other places the ice melts immediately so it's just watered down tea :p. But the boba here was cold and had the right amount of chewyness. Also the service was good as well. Overall very good 🩷!
Yummy asam milk tea brewed to perfection, with a shot of espresso because why not. Ordered via their app too for rewards points.
I was expecting a crazy long line at 7 Leaves when they first open but nope, the back kitchen had more than enough staff to deal with all our orders so kudos to them for being prepared! 7 Leaves is rooted in Vietnamese culture and you will find a lot of Viet-inspired drinks here, including Vietnamese coffee and mung beans drink. It is not a traditional boba house with a million toppings but everything you try here will be tasty. Highly recommend the drinks with sea cream. Plenty of parking as this is in the same area as HMart, so there is a dedicated parking lot. However the grocery shopping rush on weekends can be hard on finding a parking spot.
This review is based on one visit. My friend and I picked up a couple of drinks and they were pretty good. I will update this when I try more of their menu. Their Halloween themed sign was super cute. The tables look clean and plentiful but not laptop friendly (no outlets).
Was so happy when I got the news they will open one in San Francisco. This brand is legit and you can taste the true ingredients in every sip. This is probably one of the wishes coming true since it’s very close to where I live. Service was excellent and staffs were very welcoming. Definitely will be my go to spot for drinks/boba.

Staff are attentive, polite and nice. I think some of them are just like quiet/shy Asians, but mistaken as rude in some reviews. I like their menus, both drinks and bakery items, with variety. Drinks are interesting, not just like a typical boba tea shop. I like the ube croissants and cookies, pandan mochi, and the jasmine tea sea foam a lot. The store is spacious, nice and clean. My drinks were filled and there wasn’t excessive ice like in some reviews. I’m surprised that the average review here is low. Maybe they have improved a lot since opening. I prefer my MILK teas can be made less sweet per Asian standard :)
This is a nice place to study with lots of tables and comfy chairs. Music is good but the temperature is pretty cold. Stuff for helpful and we liked our drinks - The sweetness was just right and the tea flavor was good. I wish there were more snacks.

I recently visited 7 leaves cafe on Alemany Blvd San Francisco, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The place had a perfect blend of liveliness and tranquility. The coffee shop was impeccably clean, and the subtle aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, adding to the charm. The service was top-notch. The baristas were not only friendly and welcoming but also very knowledgeable about their offerings. One of them took the time to recommend a few specialty drinks based on my preferences and even shared some interesting details about their coffee beans sourced from small farms around the world. I decided to try their signature House Coffee The Cafe Sua Da and it was a revelation—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I saw a lot of people were ordering their Vietnamese Coffee, Strawberry Hibiscus Tea , Mung bean tea and Taro Milk Tea and were raving about it. Can’t wait to try all these flavors. If I had to mention a minor drawback, it would be the limited indoor seating during peak hours. In summary, 7 Leaves Cafe is a fantastic spot for coffee and tea enthusiasts and anyone looking for a cozy place to relax. The friendly staff, and pleasant ambiance make it a standout choice. I highly recommend giving it a visit—you won’t be disappointed! I’ll definitely be returning soon.
Came on Mother’s Day around 5:30pm and it was quite busy. The last time I had 7 Leaves was probably back in 2019 lol. I was craving the Mung Bean Milk Tea so I was willing to wait in line. Ordered a large mung bean milk tea regular sweet ($5.45 + $0.85 upsized) and a mix between mung bean and sea salt cream jasmine tea regular sweetness ($5.45 + $0.85 upsized). I don’t remember the drinks being this sweet. I would probably get 50% sweet or easy sweet next time. The mung bean milk tea was pretty good. I wouldn’t get the mixed drink again. It didn’t really have a jasmine tea taste. I also wanted to order honey boba but they ran out. :( Overall satisfied with my drink and service. The girl in the front taking orders that day was super nice and understanding! Still pretty stoked to have a 7 leaves in the city now. Will definitely be back for their house coffee once the line dies down. I probably waited about 15-20 mins to order and maybe 2 mins to get my drink so it wasn’t too bad. But once they have their online ordering system set up, I’m sure the lines wouldn’t be as long. Something to know though, they open at 10:30am during soft opening even though it says 10am. Grand opening should be on May 18 at 10am. 05.12.2024 | Sunday @5:30pm

we got the vietnamese iced coffee and assam milk tea, both are really good! the store was warm and clean, but we went on saturday around 6 pm and there was this awful smell of cigarettes that actually makes it so hard to breathe.
I came here maybe two or three weeks after their grand opening? I liked their mung bean milk tea that I had in Cupertino. So when I learned they opened a new location next to H Mart SF I was very thrilled. However it was kind of disappointing especially their macarons. When I first went in, I was confused because the sign at the line said mobile pick up with the QR code, so I downloaded the app. But because this location was new, it didn't offer that option yet. Second thing I noticed was that the store was super "hot", I don't know if they forgot to turn on the AC or the air vent. - Service, the cashier didn't seem that friendly or welcoming. I asked her if they take tips because the POS didn't ask me to add tips, but she didn't answer my question. Then I looked down and there's a tip "hole" in the counter. Anyway, I didn't have cash. The guy who served out orders was more friendly but he gave me the wrong thing but maybe that was the kitchen's fault. He let me kept it tho 6.5/10 - Macarons, I had very high expectations but what a disappointment 😔. I ordered 6 flavors so they were packed in a box. I ordered every flavors except the chocolate and vanilla. Before I leave, I checked the box, good thing I did because they gave me vanilla instead of the earl grey. However I wish they didn't serve me the earl grey at all!!! I don't know if it wasn't defrosted properly or something but it was just a mushed up biscuit. It was so flaky and disgusting that it was even worse than the worst macaron I ever had. One of the flavors was very hard which means it's not fresh 4/10, the earl grey itself is 0/10 IF ITS NOT READY THEN DON'T SERVE IT TO YOUR CUSTOMER! - Drinks: -Thai ice tea not the best I had but not bad, in the photo it wasn't mixed but it was served mixed to me 7/10 -Sea cream jasmine tea was great, I just wished they do offer a no sugar option 7.5/10 - Strawberry hibiscus, just ordinary 7/10 Overall, this location left me a not so good first impression, untill they improve, I'll go to other locations instead even if they're very far away.
I’ve been ordering from here on a monthly basis since I drive by the store almost everyday. However, this is what I get today when I got no ice for my house coffee. It’s about 70% full. Is this how you do business? Why can’t you just charge extra for the no ice option? How about charging $10 instead $8 for my drink (talk about inflation)? Or using the budget for sugar on more coffee since the easy sweet option is equivalent to 125% sweetness from other shops? Very disappointing!
Drinks are good. Service is meh 3/10. I don’t expect a full on friendly conversation, but a simple hi would have been nice. The guy taking the order seemed like he hated his life and wanted to go home. I have worked at the food service industry, and I understand, but it’s just rude and embarrassing.

Tried this cafe a few times. The customer service is always excellent. If any mistake was made on the order, it would be fixed immediately. The place itself is decently clean. There is always nice coffee aroma in the air. And all the coffee drinks, per my friends who tried, are good. I love tea; and I think their tea drinks are just mediocre. Also mediocre are their macarons, which are supposed to be "perfectly crafted" according to their website. But they were very disappointing.
I recently tried this place close to my place last week. I ordered the popular mung bean milk tea and taro milk tea. Honestly, the drinks are good but a bit too sweet. I came back a second time and ordered them easy sweet this time. Didn’t seem to make any difference. Still the same sweetness. The wifi there didn’t work for me. Couldn’t get on any of my apps. So I couldn’t play any games or watch any Youtube videos. Only thing I could do was read news on the internet. Lol
After grocery shopping at Hmart, I wanted some boba, so I stopped by this place for the first time. While looking at the menu and feeling unsure, I asked the staff for a recommendation. They suggested their signature drink, which includes mung beans… and let’s just say it’s definitely a drink that people will either love or not!

I ordered the Vietnamese coffee and there was way too much ice. Over half of the cup was filled with ice so you get less coffee. If you visit the store, I suggest you ask for less ice. On a side note, the gal who took my order was very nice and friendly.
This place honestly makes me annoyed. Ever since they opened, they never get my order right. And they got the nerve to ask for a tip when ordering at the register. Why would I tip you when I know you’re going to mess up my order. Opening day, I ordered a mint sereno, they made me a matcha drink. Guys at the register assume you don’t have the app. Then when you wanna scan it, they say too late. So now I just do mobile orders. Ordered a drink with no ice because I planned to drink it later. It was full of ice. I also ordered it with extra shots of espresso. Bet they didn’t even do that either. Workers can’t read a label on a cup, I have no remorse for this review. I never have this problem at any of the other locations.
I normally don’t post review of boba shops, but the drink I got from this 7leaves location today was just unacceptable. The absence of tea aroma and the awful aftertaste from sweetener totally ruined the experience. It’s worth acknowledging the newly renovated dining space and friendly staff, but their drink recipe definitely needs some changes to keep up with the standard or at least the SF average of boba tea.

Poor options, can't adjust sweetness, rude staff, and we found a piece of what seemed like fishing wire in our matcha, dangerous :(
Asked for 50% sugar and they ignored the request. Drink arrived so sweet it was undrinkable and tasted artificial. Tried to get them to remake it and the staff barely responded. I wasted $8 and got attitude. Very disappointing and not worth the price.
