Avis sur Hocca Bar & Restaurant Orlando
The best Brazilian restaurant in Orlando. Authentic Brazilian food. My recommendation: “picanha com catupiry”. But you can try “sopa de mandioquinha” and finish your gastronomical trip with “churros”. Love this place. The boys working as water are amazing. Cris and Horacio are the best driving this place to success.
I had a great experience at Hocca! The service from Júnior was outstanding — very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere is super pleasant and welcoming, with that warm Brazilian vibe that makes you want to stay longer. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it! 🇧🇷
Absolutely loved this place! The food was outstanding—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!
Service and food were great!!!! Paulo was amazing! Drinks are SO good, fresh ingredients.
Good food, not at the best price, but that’s what you pay for being far from home and wanting a taste of Brazil
Always love coming back here when I’m in Orlando! The best pastel de queijo! The picanha is always on point too.
Hocca is great… by far the best mortadela sandwich in the US. They have great “Pastel” as well and some of their sides and dishes are Brazilian traditions that are very well made in the US, despite the lack of all ingredients, etc. we highly recommend this place!!
Guga was the best server and host! Wow, LOVED the cachaca lime drinks! Seriously they are the best in town. Lime lime and more lime. The steak, delicious. The empanadas, wow, and the service, wonderful. We are definitely coming back here again! Get over here now and check them out. Oh, and did I mention they have a happy hour!! Let’s go!
Great place! A small bit of Brazil. Great place to all those who like “comida de boteco”. Great service and great for families!
Hocca Orlando opened in 2019. I’ve been to this location 5x and every time the food is extraordinary. Portion size ranges from individual size to family style. My photos from todays visit are cheese empanada, Mrs. Pichana (family style fed 4), desserts is their flan and vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant. The photos speak for themselves. Eat, Enjoy & Burp 😆✌️5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘S
SO happy that a really delicious, reasonably priced restaurant has come to town (near Belle Isle!). We have been here numerous times now and the food and service keep getting better and better. This is a Sao Paulo, Brazil-based, family owned restaurant. Their first US location. My favorite dish so far is the Filet Catupiry. It may be one of the most expensive things on the menu, but it's worth every penny (and 2 of us eat off of it AND take home leftovers). Also, they have a full bar and TVs (DirecTV - soccer watching coming soon)
This humble restaurant is a hidden treasure. The food is hot , fresh and delicious. Beautiful on the outside and inside. The service is as exceptional as the food. They are very courteous and family friendly. You will enjoy it.

Me and my family loved the food and the atmosphere, Lucas helped us a lot while deciding the dishes and was very comprehensive on every need and order, the restaurant is awesome
First time here and I was very impressed. From the warm welcome of the staff, the atmosphere, and the excitement after the first look at the menu. All the food and juice drinks we tried were fantastic. The portions were a very generous size and had enough for leftovers. Don’t forget to try the homemade pepper sauce at the table! I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan on returning.
I love Hocca food and the service is great! The shrimp pastel is the best I’ve ever had. This is good as eating at the original Hocca in São Paulo, Brazil.
We had a great meal at Hocca Orlando. Lucas did a great service. Food is delicious. If you are looking for a great and tasty meal or appetizers, there is no better option.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Lucas our server was great! Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at Hocca Bar & Restaurant! 🤩 The food was absolutely delicious, especially the torresmos. 🍹 The caipirinhas were awesome and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it! ✨

It is a very good Brazilian restaurant. But if you do not eat red meat there is 1 only option of chicken to eat and there is no fish either . Very good empanadas especially cheese.

Nice atmosphere. Good (but not great) food. A tiny bit spendy! $$+ Will go back!
Overpriced and overrated. Servers have an atitude. Dirty bathroom. Food was pretty good. Mortadela sandwich was small for almost $20. Misspelled menu with poor translation to English. The automatically add 20% gratitude at every bill. Wouldn’t come back if it depends on me. Many other choices in Orlando for great & affordable Brazilian food.

Seemed overpriced. Sandwich was advertised as being served with fries and coke slaw. Came with fries only, no explanation. When we asked about the cole slaw a few minutes later, we were told that they were out. Oh well. The food tasted fine. The staff was courteous, and the atmosphere nice. For the amount of food served, I would have expected to pay half of what I paid.
*Edit in response to the owner: yes, things do come down to personal taste, but when you’re charging $18 for a burger, it should be good at least, possibly great. There are plenty of other places in town that charge that amount for a burger and I never leave feeling like it was a giant mistake. The fries were obviously re-heated with a microwave. I’m glad your business has been around for such a long time, and I know times are tough for restaurants, but this was just not up to any standard for the price you’re charging. I don’t think after this experience we’d ever want to come back :/ We decided to try this place on a whim; we wanted burgers and the reviews of the restaurant claimed they were great. We drove well out of our way to try this place out - 4.7 stars with over a thousand reviews? Sounded great. When we arrived - on a Saturday night, there was hardly anyone else in the whole restaurant. Not a great sign, but maybe just a slow night. The lights were on full blast - very cool white fluorescents, which made it feel more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. I think the lights bothered us more than anything else, aesthetically. Not much going on in there either in terms of ambiance. We checked the reviews again and noticed that all the decent ones had been a few weeks or months ago, many were years old. Uh oh. We ordered burgers and empanadas; the empanadas came out quickly, were very hot and fairly good. The burgers, however….oh boy. Stay away. The consistency was very heavy; I felt like I was eating a tightly compacted meatball more than an actual burger. The meat blend they were using is picanha, which I’ve had before, and it was not like this. It was oozing with cheese and sauce, which was its only saving grace. At a price point of nearly $18, I felt immediate regret. Having to drown out the taste of a very mediocre burger with sauce is not what you want when you pay EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. You know when you try to take home leftover fries and reheat them? That’s what the fries we were given tasted like. They were dry, stale, not at all hot or fresh, and had very clearly been microwaved. It actually grossed me out to think about what else we might have been served. My advice would be to check out one of the other spots in the area. A dinner for two, with one app and two entrees that costs $70 should actually be mostly edible.

The food was very good and well prepared. However, we felt that the prices were extremely high for some items. For example, we paid $5 for a can of guaraná and $8 for a cup of juice. We also requested a kids-size juice, which was served in a small plastic cup, but we were charged the adult price. Overall, the menu prices felt quite elevated. Another point that bothered us was the automatic gratuity included on the check, especially considering we were a small party of three. Lastly, the service felt a bit pushy, with the waitress strongly encouraging higher-priced menu items and trying to decide for us. While the food quality was good, these factors made the experience less enjoyable, and we’re not sure if we would return.
