My husband and I visited while staying at the Ritz Carlton for a baby moon. We had a lovely seat near a window and everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The ambiance is nice, with mood lighting and a medium noise level. The server was attentive to us and what may not be safe for a pregnant guest (eg. aged steak). We ordered the tartar and cacio e pepe for starters. The tartar was the best I've ever had, the caramelized egg and the mustard seeds are perfect. The cacio e pepe had great bite and the uni was super flavorful and complimented the noodles perfectly. My husband ordered the 60-day dry aged steak and I ordered the wagyu filet as well as the mushrooms, seasonal veggies, and creamed kimchi spinach. While the veggies weren't exactly our favorite (not bad, just not what either of us expected) and the kimchi spinach was a bit odd (we love kimchi and creamed spinach, but the combo wasn't as good as we hoped) the mushrooms were fantastic. The steaks were another level - both cooked precisely and seasoned perfectly. The crust on the filet was the best I've ever had. I demolished the steak. My husband also found his steak to be the best he ever had, he even chewed off the bone. We wanted dessert so we had the sides boxed. The desserts were also fabulous - the green apple and the carrot cake shouldn't be missed. This was a perfect dinner from start to finish and the service made it impeccable. I hope to make it back here one day.

I really recommend Knife & Spoon. I’ve had one of my best experiences in there and it is, certainly, one the best restaurants I’ve been. The food was incredible amazing, want to try the whole menu one day, but the service got my heart. I was really well served by the crew, they are so attentive, and I have to highlight one them called Pedro, he was so wonderful and made my experience even better.

Wow! We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and they pulled out all the stops! Our table had a candle and rose petals, we had three wonderful servers, they offered complimentary champagne and when they learned we wouldn’t be drinking alcohol they created mocktails that were to die for, and at the end of the meal even though we were so full we declined dessert they surprised us with a special anniversary chocolate dessert that was so much more than chocolate (the contents inside were so intricately layered to create the perfect bite. This chef is top notch and you can tell by the explosion of flavors that hits your palate with each bite. The fresh baked bread options were perfect and the little details left us in awe. The palate cleansing potato chip with a mixture of fresh peppers at the start of the meal was awesome! I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. It did not disappoint and made us feel so special!

We just celebrated our anniversary dinner at Knife and Spoon and our experience was beyond fantastic. Our servers were amazing, very knowledgeable of the menu. They provided amazing recommendations regarding food and drinks. I had the dayboat catch with mushrooms and onion rings and my husband the Australian wagyu filet mignon (perfectly cooked medium well) with Joe Mac and Cheese. Honestly we couldn't choose a better place to celebrate. Thank you to Joy and Shay, our servers and all the restaurant staff for spoiling us 😊. Last but not least, the breads selection they give you to try, amazing, but we highly recommend the one with Cheese and paprika. Thank you guys for everything, we look forward to visit you again.

Had a great dinner with the wife and a few cocktails with some friends. We started out with the caviar and the steak tartare. Both were phenomenal. The steak tartare was unique in that it had seaweed over the top of it, which added a nice subtle flavor. Their crackers were unique as well with a flavor of not had before. We split a wedge salad, which is perfectly prepared as we requested, and the dressing was very good. For the main course we had the Bolognese which was absolutely spectacular. You could tell that the noodles were fresh and cooked perfectly. The Bolognese had a slight Bite to it but very very flavorful and well done. We finished off at the carrot cake, which had its own unique twist with the sorbet and the white chocolate. Everything was fantastic.

My husband took me in to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing. The service, the food, the attention to detail. Everything was top notch. Our server Tony was really knowledgeable and super helpful. The food and the drinks were superb. I’m in love with this place.

Simple charming decor. The service was extremely pleasant, with well-mannered staff that answered all the questions at the table. Very well versered in the menu and gave great recommendations always with a sincere smile. All staff that assisted our large party were equally kind. The food was incredibly beautifully presented. The fish was the best fish I have ever tasted. The octopus was prepared differently than I have ever tasted, and it was a pleasure to have sampled it. All around, I had a wonderful experience

寒风热血

The fish was a little greasy, but the side dish with shredded celery was just right. The lamb chops were delicious but not huge. The spinach kimchi is delicious. The kimchi seems to have been blanched in water. It is not spicy or salty but has a good taste. The garden salad and shrimp cocktail were spot on too. The environment is neither very noisy nor very quiet, very comfortable. Date conversations can be easily heard by your partner, but not embarrassing. Highly recommended

This was our first experience at a Michelin star restaurant and it did not disappoint. Service was on point, food came out quickly and everything was delicious. We got the 60 day aged ribeye to share. Flavor was good - earthy. Great experience overall.

We came to this place to have dinner. The food was terrific, and the service was excellent. We started our dinner with some beef Tartar, which was a complements to the chef. I had the Australian beef wagyu filet minion, And it was divine. A friend of mine had the chard octopus, which was also excellent. We then finished the night with a little carrot cake, which was also very good. overall this restaurant is really nice for special occasion or a nice date night out.

From the moment we walked in we were met with several different staff members each experts on their drink offerings and every aspect of the menu. Our server Sheridan was unbelievable he gave us great dish recommendations, suggested wine parings for each course and they were all a hit. Favorites of the night were the beef tartare, the dry aged ribeye, key lime and carrot cake. Will Defintely be back!

We went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful evening . We had tasting menu with wine pairing and it was perfect. Great staff and service was excellent. The ambience was romantic and seating was comfortable. My son even tasted the octopus for the first time and he liked it. Valet parking was free.

It was a beautiful dinner with my husband on our anniversary. Everything was great from the servers to managers and the atmosphere. And, the food was very tasty; definitely, the chef is doing an amazing job! The seafood and steak options were many as well as nice choice of starters and desserts. Would love to come back again soon.

Amazing experience in this restaurant, we went 10 days ago and the everything was spectacular, but the deserts were outstanding. We tried a fish of the season that was a big portion, we also had a burrata as stater and mushrooms and spinach to share with entree. Tarter was also amazing. They also have kids menu! Service was great, they also have a huge selection of wines and cocktails. We tried every single desert and honestly, are the best ones in town. Just make sure you have your reservation with enough time.

5* experience fitting for the 5* restaurant. Excellent service. You get like 2 waiters on top of the water and drink server(s). The pictured Melon Salad was excellent. Filet was tender, a little undercooked to requested temp (wife’s issue, not mine) but just like the Carbonara, it was all tender and butta’!

The 45 day dry aged ribeye steak is some of the best I've ever had. The whole fish was also cooked perfectly tender. The desserts were also beautiful and unique. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable for the quality. I'd definitely come back!

We spent Valentine’s Day at Knife & Spoon and had the most beautiful evening with my husband and my daughter. The service was honestly on another level. Every single person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and just genuinely amazing. You can feel when a team truly cares, and they absolutely do. The food? So incredibly delicious. Everything we tried was outstanding. You can taste the quality in every bite. We didn’t get to try as many dishes as we wanted, which just means we’ll be coming back very soon. Such a special experience. Highly recommend. Five stars without question.

Absolutely amazing! They just keep bringing little things out to you at you. It's absolutely amazing... The lamb is the best I've ever had in my entire life And the fact that they have such a variety of aged beef is amazing. When I go there I can't stop thinking about it for days..

Knife and spoon was one of the best restaurants we have been to in a while. Our driver Shay was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the Caviar service, knife wedge and the 14 day dry aged duck breast which was the best duck I have had in my life. 👏🏾 10/10 highly recommend.

We had a spectacular experience at Knife and Spoon! We stayed at the Ritz and they were kind enough to seat us without a reservation. The service was above and beyond; very friendly and helpful wait staff. The food was so sophisticated and their culinary expertise truly shined with every detail of the meal. Their caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had and the pappardelle meat sauce was so flavorful, like it had been slow cooking for days. We enjoyed so many complementary tastes, including an amuse-buche, a birthday dessert, and another small dessert bite post-dinner. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning!!

This may have been the best overall restaurant experience we have ever had! The service was absolutely amazing. We had 3 servers attached to our table. Our main server, Julian, was perfectly attentive. He was never intrusive, but never missed a need. He guided our meal expertly. He assistants we professional & intentional in everything they did. The craft cocktails were original & balanced. The food was incomparable!! We started with the Crab Rice which you don't want to miss. I had the Bolegnese & my husband had the Whole Fish. Both were delicious. We shared an Orange Souffle for dessert which was an absolute showstopper!!! I also received a special complimentary birthday dessert which was a Matcha mousse filled with Lychee cream topped with a sheet of white chocolate. All divine!!! There were other treats & surprises which will delight you as they did us!!

I used to go to this restaurant when it was Norman’s. This is a nice replacement for Normans; the aged steaks are amazing, and so well kept! I especially love the wine Director Stephanie! She is so special and takes the time to make sure your experience is amazing. I almost prefer to eat here alone so that I can take the time to savior each bite. The food is perfect, and all is what it should be at the Ritz, phenomenal! Love and Happiness exists here at the Ritz Carleton! Thank you also to the service table attendants, and the manager who is Billy Bob Thornton’s double! Love this place, and will come back next time with friends and family!

Enjoyed an excellent dinner here! The Caesar Salad is absolutely amazing, I would go back just to get that! By far the best item that we ate that evening! The mac and cheese was only average, and they didn't have enough smaller steak options for 1 person. The potato puree was excellent. The bread service was great, with many options, whipped butter and salt on your table. This was delicious! The servers paid attention to details and brought over veggies with ranch instead of the seafood option they normally start with. The servers were all very attentive the entire evening and the restaurant is beautiful. We left happy and will definitely be back for another meal in the future!

The chefs here are Michelin rated so it's ok to come with high expectations! Tucked inside a corner of the Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes this space is clean, modern and well run. We had 5 different people serving at our table, the menu has a little something for everyone, seasonal swaps, cocktails and to my pleasant surprise some delicious mocktails! We started with the Hamachi and Tuna with foie gras apps, then I had the Wagyu and it was cooked to perfection and already cut when it arrived. The creamed spinach was rich and creamy and a very shareable side (4-5 people). Dessert was a beautiful matcha latte (think cheesecake except it's not cheesecake). Service was extraordinary. Perfect for a date night, business or family dinner.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Exceptional Stay We had an incredible experience at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes while celebrating my partner Scott’s 60th birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality were outstanding. Scott has spent years in luxury hospitality leadership, and this stay genuinely met—and exceeded—his expectations. A special shout‑out to Steve from Security Management, whose professionalism and kindness made a memorable impression. We also dined at Knife & Spoon, and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was warm and refined, the service flawless, and the food exceptional. The team made the birthday celebration feel truly special without ever overdoing it. Thank you to the entire staff for creating such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return.

This restaurant was recommended to me with the highest regards and compliments. Upon arriving there, it was impossible not to set expectations at the highest. Pedro was our host and he set the tone for what would become an unforgettable night! The level of attentiveness and care given by him was to the utmost! We ordered some appetizers, some wine, and the presentations was always impecable. The main course was the rack of lamb. I did not know such flavours existed! That elevated the experience to another level! A completely mind blowing dish crafted to perfection! The desert was another surprise. Presentation matters and ending our night with such delightfully looking dish was golden. I would like to appreciate Pedro to all his expertise and suggestions, guiding us through this universe of wonderful dishes. Tough to choose when all options are good. Thanks Pedro!

The experience was fantastic. Each table is allocated three waitresses. Everyone was very friendly. Pictured is the crab appetizer which was alittle underwhelming. The tuna and foi which was fantastic. The steak was great. But the gem of the night was all the desserts and the bread service. Amazing bread. Truly. Fantastic restaurant deserving of the Michelin star!

Knife & Spoon is a 1 michelin star surf and turf restaurant located inside Marriott's Ritz Carlton at Grande Lakes Orlando. The restaurant's ambient lighting is mostly the natural light provided by the glass panes that surround the restaurant and some ceiling fixtures. For the accent lighting, they have light fixtures on each of the pillars inside the restaurant and also a small candle at each table. If you go during the night, then the dimly lit environment provides an intimate ambiance. Throughout our dining experience, we had different people providing different services. Once we got seated, our main host walked us through the entire menu and how it is set up, which was helpful. Though they talked really fast and with all the background noise, it was a bit hard to hear them clearly. The service was mostly great, but there were instances when it felt a bit too much. During some instances, it felt like the servers were trying really hard to get us to order a certain menu item. Our server, in fact, said it herself, "I feel like I'm bullying you into ordering something." At another instance, we asked our second host some clarification questions around the menu when the main host walked in on our conversation and she stood there the whole time as if she wasn't happy with that. For some courses, they skipped cleaning, and at other times, we had to ask them multiple times when we realized that they weren't paying attention. Now let's talk about the food. You can either pick Chef's tasting menu for $135 + taxes, or you can do a la carte. The 2 of us picked their a la carte dining option and made it a 4-course dining experience. 1st course (colds)- 1. Hamachi 2. Steak tartare 2nd course (hots)- 1. Crab scampi 2. Gnocchi 3rd course (main)- 1. Filet mignon 2. Dayboat catch Sides- 1. Potato puree 2. Cultivated mushrooms 4th course (dessert)- 1. Caramel Dulcey 2. The apple Drinks- 1. Take the pain away 2. Florida boulevard 3. Jimmy sears Both the cold dishes were amazing. I personally liked the hamachi more. The fish was fresh, and the oil really enchanced the flavors. Suprisngly, it had a somewhat fruity flavor. Tartare had some crisps on top, which really complimented the soft texture of the meat, and the mustard was great too, not too overpowering. Between the 2 hot dishes, scampi was definitely better than the gnocchi. Scampi was very creamy, and thankfully, crab didn't smell fishy at all. Gnochhi itself was very light and airy and felt like you were eating a cloud, but the sauce was very watered down and had a very sharp after taste of peanuts. Between the 2 mains, filet mignon was better than the fish. The fish was cooked a bit unevenly. Some parts of the fish felt very dry compared to the other parts. The filet was cooked perfectly just the way we wanted, and the sauce that came with the filet was really good, too. Meat was tender and juicy. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the 2 desserts we got. They were decent. They were too sweet, and there were too many flavors and textures in each dessert that didn't quite go well (for me personally). Our drinks were pretty good. Jimmy Sears had a strong raspberry flavor. Take the pain away was buttery and smooth. Florida Boulevard had a sweet and sour taste. Overall, it was a good experience. I felt it was a bit on the pricey end given the overall food and dining experience.

Knife and spoon is Nested in Ritz Carlton hotel. A one Michelin star restaurant. A fine dining restaurant. Food is good. Service is great. But getting a table is not so easy. Due to the lack of tables and lack of other f&b within the hotels here.

First visit tonight for a birthday & I have to say the valet, service and staff were phenomenal. Nathan was one of our waiters & provided excellent service. Great wine and dessert recs. The spinach tortellini was delicious as was the Mac & cheese. We ordered the dry aged New York strip, not worth the $ in my opinion-it was good but filet probably would’ve been better. The mushrooms weren’t my favorite, was not expecting several different kinds but that was on me. Overall will come again and try the fish or another pasta. Everyone was so very nice and helpful!

My first fine dining experience and on a date, it was nice especially with the right person to be with. I love their rib eye steak except I didn’t want it cut up when it was served. Not a fan with their salad and kimchi salad. Dessert and wine was okay. Ambiance was fair, that night was a little busy and just loud. Overall, their service was great!

L
Lynn

The atmosphere and service is definitely Michelin quality. Food is tasty, we had a 90 day aged rib eye, chicken, seasoned vegetables, ravioli. The ravioli is my favorite as it’s made uniquely and very tasty for a vegan dish. Rib eye is covered with charcoal, not liking it too much. It could also be the cut is quite thick, which is hard to cook it properly with a well done. Desert was good, met my expectation for a Michelin quality.

Tony was an amazing server and the food was great.. however me and my wife were celebrating our honeymoon and there was no manager around to express anything about it. Given the quality of the restaurant I thought a floor manager would be around to say something about it. Anyways, Tony was a rockstar and the NY steak is a must.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Knife and Spoon, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and overall, it was an exceptional experience. The service was impeccable, with the staff attentive to every detail, making us feel truly welcome and well cared for throughout the evening. The food, without a doubt, lived up to the restaurant's reputation. The lamb, in particular, was epically amazing—cooked to perfection at medium rare. Each bite was a revelation, showcasing the chef's expertise and the quality of the ingredients used. I opted for the menu with wine pairing, which, while filling, was a delightful experience. The selections complemented each dish beautifully, enhancing the flavors and overall dining experience. The menu itself is a set offering, and while I initially thought it was a pick-and-choose format, everything served was from the set menu. At $135 for the menu and $75 for the wine pairing, I found it to be a good value considering the quality of the food and wine. However, my only complaint lies with the atmosphere. For a restaurant of this caliber, I would have preferred a more intimate and cozy setting. The current setup reminded me a bit too much of a school cafeteria, lacking the privacy and ambiance one might expect at a Michelin-starred venue. Real candles and tablecloths would greatly enhance the dining experience and add a touch of elegance that is currently missing. In summary, while the food and service at Knife and Spoon are top-notch, the atmosphere could use some refinement to match the level of the cuisine. Despite this, it's still a fantastic dining destination, especially for those who appreciate exquisite food and excellent service.

B
Bob fang

The overall dining experience was pleasant. The service was attentive and professional, and the meal flowed smoothly from start to finish. However, while the presentation and atmosphere were refined, some dishes lacked balance and depth of flavor. The mushroom dish was overly salty, parts of the grilled fish had a slightly bitter taste, and the salad had a grainy texture — it was unclear whether it came from fine salt or actual sand. Overall, while the experience was enjoyable, the flavors and execution still fall short of Michelin-level refinement.

S
Sandra Mc

The restaurant is located between the JW Marriott and the Ritz-Carlton, with its own entrance or access through the hotels. The décor is modern and sleek, nothing over the top, but it definitely has a high-end feel and the prices reflect that. We ordered the tuna & foie and the Hamachi as starters, followed by the wagyu picanha frites and the pappardelle bolognese as our main dishes. The food was good, but to be honest, I expected more flavor and better execution. The pappardelle came with a meat sauce, but it was dry, there was basically no moisture or richness, which is disappointing for a bolognese. I mentioned this to the waiter, and he told me he would inform the chef, but that was the end of it. They also didn’t have spicy oil, so I asked for cayenne pepper mixed in oil as an alternative. It’s not a Michelin-starred restaurant though it is mentioned in the guide but in my opinion, it doesn’t live up to the hype. I actually preferred Primo at the JW Marriott much more.

M
Marc Didier

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is the decor of the restaurant, I didn't feel like I was in an upscale place it felt more like a resort restaurant than a 5 star restaurant. The service was impeccable ,the breads were amazing, the small dishes that are complimentary were very good. The entree of Hamachi though very small had amazing favors. The house special aged steak was perfectly cooked. I didn't really like the chocolate desert it was a bit dry, I would prefer a flower less cake dense accompanied by the mouse and the thin chocolate paper. Pricing is a bit high. Other than that good experience.

This is good option in Orlando. The ambiance is elegant but quiet. The food is good quality, but nothing imaginative. The bread service is a nice touch. I am surprised by the Michelin Star. There is nothing here that you can’t get at a lot of other places.

Tony was an amazing server and the food was great.. however me and my wife were celebrating our honeymoon and there was no manager around to express anything about it. Given the quality of the restaurant I thought a floor manager would be around to say something about it. Anyways, Tony was a rockstar and the NY steak is a must.

Not worth the price. Service was okay, certainly not the best I have had. Ordered a bottle of wine and ended up pouring every glass ourselves is one example. Crab rice was very salty, ceaser salad was over dressed crouton on bottom couldn’t even be cut with the silverware. Silverware was a poor choice by someone, very small. Fish dish was good however, the sauce it had was sooooo salty couldn’t eat it. And I like salt. Steak was cooked perfectly however, it was room temperature. It’s easy to see why they lost their Michellin Star. Would not recommend

We were expecting an amazing experience, but......... We sit in a high table. It is not comfortable. Appetizers: shrimp cocktail very good. The ceviche ok. Main: gnocchi good, but a very small portion. Goat cheese Mezzaluna is terrible. It is very sour. I am thinking if the chef has proved. I think not. He wouldn't offer it to anyone. For your own safety don't order this option. Wine list is very good. Deserts are awesome. Waiter friendly and polite. So, it was the first time and the last one.

So we’ve eaten here numerous times since it changed hands from Norman’s to Knife & Spoon. Each time we’ve eaten here, the experience was progressively worse, which is likely at least part of the reason they lost their Michelin star… inconsistency. The first time we ate here, we liked the decor and ambiance, although it didn’t feel as comfy or nice as Norman’s did. The largest gap between the two venues was clearly the service. When it was Norman’s, we always felt special when we ate here, the staff always went above and beyond and did little things like giving my wife a little rose, folding my napkins, checking in on each course. Knife & spoon did none of those things. Another glaring issue is that their menu actually GOT WORSE over time. Initially they offered unique drinks such as aged wagyu fat washed old fashioned, and steaks that were aged 45 days, 150 days and 365 days! You simply cannot find this at many fine dining establishments. I’ve tried all of those aged steaks, and they were amazing. Guess what, none are offered there any longer, and those bespoke drinks, gone. When I asked why, I was told that they were too expensive and costs needed to be cut. SAY WHAT? Cut costs? We’re talking about a Michelin starred restaurant (formerly) that costs well over $300 for dinner for 2, at one of the finest Ritz Carlton venues in the US! What a joke. Needless to say, my wife and I no longer dine here, and I most certainly don’t recommend it to anyone, especially with so many amazing dining options that exist today in the Orlando region. Thumbs down. I hope the ritz brings in another restaurant to replace this place sooner than later.

The service was very inconsistent! We waited 15 minutes before receiving our drinks! I ordered their bone in ribeye medium well and they destroyed it! We ordered their desert orange Soufflé but they tried to give us their sorbet instead because they gave our soufflé to people that arrived after we were there for an hour! They did come up with one soufflé for me but my daughter was very disappointed! For almost $1700 dollars for 7 people!

I was disappointed by this experience - this restaurant does not live up to the expectations of either the Michelin guide rating or being on a ritz property. The service was…. Medium. I sat at the bar and the bartender was much more occupied with talking to locals than tending to my needs at times. He was very nice and gave me a free glass of wine and dessert but I felt it took a very long time to order. For timeliness, having a glass of wine and knowing which steak I wanted before arriving, I’m not sure a 2.5 hour meal sitting at a bar was anything short of excessive. The food…. I ordered the 120(ish?) aged ribeye with rave reviews. Visiting from a town full of steakhouses, I have had many many better quality steaks at around half the price tag. It is a large steak but I was not necessarily impressed. It was slightly overcooked and lacked the flavor expected of a $200+ meal. I would hesitate to ever return if back in the area and was disappointed with the experience I was looking to treat myself with.

Not recommended. The service and environment was great, but food was ordinary. Some undercooked food was not fresh(probably the oyster) and I felt very sick afterward.

Second visit here in 2 years. Food was ok. Service was slow. We had zero refills of water or anything in the last hour we were there. … so we didn’t even bother to stay for desserts. Steak was good. Everything else was meh. See captions of pics. Not really worth the pomp and circumstance for this place. Food quality needs to tighten up. Have your servers pay attention to the patrons and not for show. They didn’t even get our drink order right. The cocktail was just plopped down on the table without thoughtfulness. Expected much more from this restaurant. The Highball and Harvest downstairs had much better food, service and ambiance.
