Paddlefish offers a beautiful setting with great views, especially at sunset. Many reviewers praise the attentive service, specifically mentioning servers like Evan, Lorena, and Rebecca. While some found the food outstanding, others experienced inconsistencies in quality and slow service.
Tip: Request a table upstairs for lovely sunset views, but be aware that the noise level can be high.

I had such a great time dining here! From the moment I walked in, the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. The staff made sure everything was perfect without being overwhelming, which really elevated the whole experience. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The pasta was rich and flavorful, the salmon was cooked perfectly with smooth mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the seafood was incredibly fresh. You can really tell they focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful plating. The view was absolutely stunning — especially at night. Sitting by the windows overlooking the water made the whole dinner feel extra special and relaxing. It’s definitely a spot for a date night or celebration. 📌 Tip I highly recommend making reservations because it fills up quickly — and after going, I can see why! Final Verdict: Great service, amazing food, and a beautiful view. I’d absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Orlando.
Great food with a beautiful waterfront atmosphere Paddlefish at Disney Springs is a fantastic dining spot with a unique boat-style design and beautiful views of the water, making the whole experience feel special. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable for a nice dinner. I tried the beef skewers and the linguini with clams, and both were amazing. The beef skewers were tender and full of flavor, and the linguini was perfectly cooked with fresh clams and a delicious sauce. Overall, a great place for seafood and a memorable dining experience in Orlando. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Disney Springs.
I had a wonderful experience at Paddlefish Restaurant. The servers were absolutely exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Even without a reservation, the host was able to check us in quickly. Within five minutes, we were seated in the waiting area, and shortly after, a host personally came to escort us to our table, which was a nice touch. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the drinks were perfectly sweet and refreshing. Overall, everything about this visit was perfect, and I would highly recommend Paddlefish to anyone looking for great service, delicious food, and a smooth dining experience.
We had a really nice lunch here! The food was pretty good — fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering again. The service was a little slow, but they were clearly busy, so it was understandable. The real highlight was sitting on the 3rd floor — such a great spot to enjoy the views. It made the whole experience feel a little more special. We’d definitely come back, especially for another lunch outside!
Don't miss this place. The food was beyond amazing. If you remotely like seafood, you'll just drool the whole time here cuz you can't order everything on the menu in one go. My old fashioned was a true sipper. I loved it. Had to order a beer next. The lobster was lightly breaded in cornmeal, packed with flavor. The pasta - al dente - the calamari soft and flavorful. The table next to us had food I was drooling over.... Great date spot. Great spot to chill out and love life.
I’ve always been intrigued to go there whenever we visited Orlando — it looks incredible from the outside. The service was good; they start you off with homemade bread and butter. The menu has a nice variety. We had the salmon and the calamari. Our server was very attentive. The portions were generous and flavorful. Some dishes are a little pricey, but it’s worth the experience. I recommend sitting by the window to enjoy the lake view. Highly recommended.
My overall experience at Paddlefish fulfilled me both internally and externally. I was impressed by the type of seafood they had and their creative dishes, like the mahi with salsa verde. The staff was both welcoming and gave me space to think about what I wanted to eat while also offering helpful suggestions from the menu. Being on the steamboat gave me the sense of dining on a cruise ship but with a soft, modern twist. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys higher-end seafood and a beautiful view overlooking Disney Springs. And you don’t have to rely only on my opinion—online reviews and articles, including those on OpenTable, consistently praise the food, service, and atmosphere as well. Altogether, the quality and the consistency across other diners’ experiences make Paddlefish a place I’d happily return to time and time again.
Our server was Lorena and she did outstanding job. She suggested the stuffed cod and we both ordered it. Preparation was perfect and the key lime pie was great too. Lorena’s smile each time she was at our table was worth every penny of our visit.

My hubby has been wanting to take me here and we finally visited tonight I must say we had a fantastic experience. Ambiance was great, wait was reasonable, food was fantastic even for our picky son. The star of our night however was Evan. His service was fantastic. He made great recommendations and took amazing care of us, was very personable and attentive. He was the best. Highly recommend.
Rebecca is the best. Not only assisted me perfectly but since I’m noisy I was listening to the table beside me and she was amazing as well. Perception is everything since I’m a Manager and I like to recognize the people who helps me as well bc I’m grateful and appreciate amazing client care. This helps an organization to grow seamlessly in within. She must get promoted. Thank you Rebecca you the best and sweet. If I was living in Orlando I would recruit her to work with me bc isn’t to work for me is w me as a One Team. Thank you. Xmas bonus deserved.
Wonderful Christmas here! The views from the windows are beautiful. You can see Disney springs’ splendid Christmas decor from every window. The restaurant is built as a steamboat. The food was fantastic. The kids meals were a full meal. Adult meals filling!! Evan our server was amazing! We really appreciate everything he did for us to make it a magical experience.
I left full! Got the crab cakes and calamari. Lisa was so kind in showing me different attractions around the springs. Great views from the sunset
Our dinner at Paddlefish was phenomenal! I ordered a Southside drink that wasn't on the menu and it was amazing! I also am celiac and the waitress talked to the chef and was able to alter my catfish so that it was sauteed instead of fried. I honestly think I would have liked this version better than the fried version! It was perfectly cooked and the vegetables and sauce that were in the dish were amazing. Everyone else at my table thoroughly enjoyed their meal as well. Would highly recommend. We did get reservations in advance.
I loved Paddlefish! The restaurant is beautiful, the view was stunning, and the food and drinks were tasty. We sat upstairs. It made for a lovely sunset dinner. Unfortunately, there's nothing to mitigate the noise and it did get really loud which made conversation a bit more difficult. The prices seemed a little high, but let's be honest here. We knew they were going to be a bit higher when we chose to eat there. We were referred to Paddlefish by our hotel staff and we were absolutely NOT disappointed. If I'm ever back in Disney Springs, I'd definitely go back.
It was nearly 20 years since we last ate here so decided to try it again last night. It was fairly easy to get a reservation online about a week ago. We arrived about 25 minutes early (too cold to walk round Disney Springs!) but they managed to seat us after a 5 minutes early wait. We were at the front of the boat upstairs. Our server Alison was very good all the way through our meal and it wasn’t long before our drinks and warm bread had arrived. It was a cold night so for the first time ever in Florida we both ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Nice and thick and very tasty - should have been a little warmer though. For our main dishes my wife than the mussels boil which came with potatoes, corn and cornbread. Good portion size and both the mussels and corn were great. I chose the catfish which came breaded with corn succotash. It did come with a mustard sauce though whilst the dish was tasty I felt it was a little dry. Enjoyed our meal and for Disney I felt it was good value for money.
This is our first visit. Our server, David, was amazing. He’s extremely attentive, provided updates on our orders when there was a delay in the kitchen and all of his recommendations were a hit. We started with calamari. Perfectly seasoned and tender. My son and I ordered Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp were plump and fresh but the grits get a 7/10. I’m a southern girl who loves grits so the consistency was a little grainy for me. The sauce had the perfect amount of spice. My daughter ordered the shrimp pasta. She didn’t give much feedback but she ate it. We didn’t order dessert. If they offer a rotating menu, we’d return to try something else.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, definitely a nice intimate date night spot. The restaurant itself is modeled like a ship set on the waterfront and the inside seating gives the feel of dining on an actual cruise ship. Lower lit dim lighting (I’m not sure if it’s like that all the time but we visited around 8:30pm Tuesday). The service was fantastic, I didn’t get our waitresses’ name but she was very attentive and pleasant. For the most part the food was great. A few misses but for the most part we enjoyed the food and already plan on coming back to try other items on the menu. The wedge salad was not great and probably the only thing we didn’t like at all we left it basically untouched, for the $15 it was not worth it. Nice presentation but the dressing was bland and has almost no flavor. The fried calamari however was amazing. Definitely the best we have ever had. Crispy and not over cooked or rubbery. The fries were also some of the best I’ve tried. Salmon dinner was just as delicious. The stuffed cod was good too but the cod itself was a bit on the watery side. Flavor was great though especially the mustard sauce. The seafood boil was decent but not something we would be ordering again. The shrimp had little to no flavor although fresh. We asked before ordering and she said they just boil it and add the dried seasoning blend on top afterwards so there is not really any way to adjust the spice. We still ordered it. Our waitress was great though she did not mind bring more seasoning and butter. The margaritas were definitely not lacking in the liquor.
Not quite the experience I expected but would still include in my top 10 Disney picks. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, shrimp pasta, and fish tacos. Pros: Great views from the dining room. First floor views are better in my opinion. I really enjoyed the fish tacos. The service was great. My son had the shrimp pasta and originally he didn’t like it because there wasn’t much flavor. We told the server and she brought extra broth to the table, which made a huge difference. Lastly, my son had a cucumber and lemonade spritzer which was really good. Cons: The fried green tomatoes were okay, crunchy but too doughy for me. I like more southern style tomatoes. These were more like a tomato wrapped in corn bread. It was my least favorite. The bread looked amazing. I thought it would be a warm, pretzel or garlic bread with salted bread. No. It was just thick room temperature bread with cold crumbly butter, a huge let down. This place is expensive. I paid 101.00 including 20 percent gratuity.
Came for dinner with my family and shared the mussels, calamari, green salad, crab cake, and fried tomato, all of which were good. I ordered the swordfish, which was very good, but the other mains were just okay, with some of the fish coming out dry. Service was quite slow and inconsistent, with some dishes arriving late. The restaurant itself is lovely, with multiple areas offering slightly different vibes. We sat in a quieter, darker section, which suited us well.
We ate dinner at Paddlefish on a Friday evening. There were 4 in our party, including 2 kids. We were sat fairly quickly but then we waited…for water, for a drink order, for bread, for anything. I know sometimes you may wait to get in your initial orders for beverages or appetizers but I don’t know that I have ever waited for water. It’s usually filled upon seating and then you are given time to look over a menu. The area where we were sat was probably “that room” where they banish anyone with children. It was loud, visually lack luster and didn’t have the view of the water that prompted us to pick the restaurant in the first place. I asked about moving but was told the house was full (during the walk in I viewed several tables empty in other dining areas). I ordered the fried green tomatoes which were delicious. My husband did mussels and enjoyed them as well. He ordered steak which I thought was very good. I had the fish which was cooked perfectly but the flavor of the sauce was lacking. It seemed like it needed a little more salt and/or some citrus. I also got the maque choux and it was spectacular. Honestly the fish could’ve been served a top that and it would’ve been perfection. I can’t say enough about that dish. Their cocktails were great and so was the wine selection.
We were visiting Disney Springs with my family and decided to have dinner at Paddlefish. It’s a fine-dining seafood restaurant that had been on our list for a while. Although we were quoted a 45-minute wait, we were seated much sooner. While waiting, we grabbed cocktails from a nearby bar, and Paddlefish kindly allowed us to bring our drinks inside something we really appreciated, as many places would require you to finish them before entering. We were a party of 10 and ordered a variety of dishes, including salmon, steaks, ahi tuna, fries, and oysters. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. The restaurant itself feels like you’re dining on a cruise ship anchored in Disney Springs. We went out to the deck for photos and to enjoy the beautiful views, which made the experience even more memorable. I invite you to stop by and have the experience yourself !
as a seafood lover, I love the nautical theme of the restaurant & all of the various seafood options on the menu. Every employee that I encountered was also extremely pleasant & just generally seemed happy to be there (yes it’s work but not looking miserable helps add to an exceptional dining experience & they have that down to a T) Bryan was our seater & he set the tone from the beginning. Very warm energy & smiled the whole way to our table. Freddy arrived, with a big smile, promptly after we were sat & quickly got us drinks & then left us with a few moments to look over the menu. We started with the lobster corn dogs. 1000/10. The lobster was perfectly cooked & seasoned & the corn dog breading provided the perfect crunch. The sweet chili aioli was a great accompaniment, with the sweet & savory or the sauce pairing nicely with the flavor of the lobster & the breading. My partner got the snow crab seafood boil. A solid 8.5/10. Being Maryland girls, I was a little nervous for this because we are known for our crabs & seafood boils. Now while this one wasn’t nearly anywhere as seasoned as we are accustomed to, all of the seafood was perfectly prepared. Shout out to whoever works the steamer. Not a single piece was overdone. With a little extra drawn butter & an extra side of seasoning, it definitely hit the spot. So originally I ordered the catfish. The cornmeal crust on the catfish is the highlight of the dish. Completely devoid of seasoning, this entree was a complete letdown. A 2/10 at best. If you have ever had fried catfish anywhere in your life, I would suggest not getting this one because it is nothing like what you’re probably used to. The creole mustard did very little to help. The edamame succotash was equally as disappointing. It honestly looked like something I would expect to be served at a hospital or grade school cafeteria. Every morsel was hard, flavorless & just not worth the space it took on the plate. My partner advised I send it back, & Freddie took it back graciously suggesting I try one of the other fish entrees. I opted for the swordfish. The swordfish was cooked to perfection & seasoned just as well. The grill marks on the swordfish added a nice touch, not just in presentation, but I love tasting the char of the grill on my meats. Overall, I would definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I recently went to Paddlefish at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida. I was excited to try it because I had seen it on social media, and as a local, I thought it would be a cool experience. The idea of eating on an actual boat made it feel unique. When we arrived, there was about a 10 minute wait before being seated. The atmosphere was one of the best parts of the restaurant. The boat design and overall vibe were really nice, and I would rate the atmosphere a 4.5 out of 5. I ordered the fried catfish with sautéed vegetables, and my wife had the snow crab seafood boil. The catfish was cooked well and had good flavor, but the portion size was small, with only 2 pieces. The vegetables were good, but overall I would rate my meal a 3 out of 5. The seafood boil was okay but lacked seasoning and was not very memorable. The appetizers were better than the main dishes. We had fried calamari and lobster corn dogs, and both were cooked well. The sauces that came with them were really good and added a lot of flavor. The best part of the experience was our server, Andy. His service was excellent and made the night much better. The total bill was $166, and I left a $34 tip because of the great service. Overall, I think Paddlefish is a bit overpriced for the food, but I am glad I tried it and checked it off my bucket list.
We really wanted to love Paddlefish because the boat is iconic and the atmosphere is great, but the food simply didn't live up to the $175 price tag. We started with the Crab Guacamole, which was a letdown. Between the heavy hand with the lime and the seasoning, you couldn't taste the crab at all—it felt like paying a premium for standard guac. For entrees, the Clam and Linguine was surprisingly soupy and the pasta was overcooked/mushy. The Cod dish was also quite dry, which is disappointing for a "Signature" seafood spot. Pros: The service was fine and the setting is beautiful, especially if you like dining on the water. Cons: The kitchen execution was lacking. At these prices, the seafood should be the star, but it missed the mark on both texture and flavor. If you’re coming here, come for a drink on the rooftop to enjoy the view, but maybe look elsewhere for a high-end dinner. #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot
We stopped by Paddlefish on the West Side of Disney Springs for our late Xmas dinner. You can’t beat the location—it’s inside that massive, iconic steam boat right on the water. The views of the lake are stunning, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the scenery. The Starters: The Calamari ($19) was awesome—definitely the way to go. However, the Charred Octopus ($21) was way too chewy and tough and no flavor. We also tried the Mussels ($11), but the sauce was just "meh." I’ve honestly had better mussel sauce at Olive Garden. The Mains: This is where it got disappointing, especially for the price. I’m a huge fan of seafood boils, so I ordered the Snow Crab Boil ($60). It was a letdown. The legs were huge but so dry, and there was barely any sauce. It felt like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Also the sauce has no flavor as well. It's just flat. Our local seafood restaurant has a 1lb snow crab legs for $35.00, they come fresh and steamy inside a large plastic bag (cooked as ordered), and the sauce is packed with flavor and taste incredible, oh well.. My son, who loves shrimp, said his Shrimp Boil ($39) was also just "so-so"—the shrimp looked a bit pale and he didn't even finish them. My daughter’s Kids Burger came out medium when we asked for medium-well, so she wouldn't touch it. Luckily, she liked my expensive crab meat, so at least that $60 didn't go to waste! The Bright Spots: My husband actually had the best meal—the Salmon ($35). It was tender, perfectly cooked, and the mashed potatoes were great. I also loved my mocktail (Strawberry Basil Lemonade); it had real fruit and fresh basil and was super refreshing. Our server was fantastic and super attentive, so we had no problem leaving a 25% tip. But for a $258 bill, we expected way better food. You are definitely paying "Disney prices" (tourist prices) here. While the boat and the view are beautiful and the service is great, the seafood quality did not justify the high cost. We’ve had much better meals for much less elsewhere. It was a "one and done" for us. Next time, we’ll be heading back to Raglan Road for their consistently delicious Fish & Chips!
The staffs communication, responsiveness and overall presentation were absolutely amazing! The fried green tomatoes (tomato, not fried portion) were dense, the crab cake and corn delicious. The steak sauce is extremely bitter, it would be well received if you offered another option. The staff would be the only reason that I ever offer the restaurant another opportunity, my waitress was amazing!💜

We went pretty late for dinner around 8pm, as all restaurants were having long waiting times. Maybe that’s why the food was not 5 stars. Of the six of us, 3 were happy with the food: the file mignon, the swordfish and the short ribs, two were ok - the scallops dish was not warm enough and were low in flavor, the accompanying beans had no flavor at all. One unlucky guest had the burata salad and found it too salty and the calamari with shishito peppers which was simply cold, with dry calamari- a dish that was not freshly made at all, at least that’s how we felt. They took it off the bill, but the point is we were hungry. The waitress was nice and attentive, the cocktails were interesting - lili’s sideboat a bit bitter, Hawaiian shipmate excellent. The experience would have been better if all our food was kept equally heated at least, as the prices are pretty high and the wait was pretty long. They add 18% tip for parties of six and above but the food quality goes down.
