The food is GREAT!!! We were never neglected. The table service was remarkable! They knew their menu well and made perfect suggestions for food and drink after learning what we liked. Chips and fish ceviche to start Fish Tacos were generous portions, hot and full of flavor Shrimp tacos were grilled with red & green peppers 🌶 😋 Maria our server was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely be coming back 👍

The owner was kind enough to recommend and serve us his specialities. The food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. You can tell people come here to eat authentic good Mexican cuisine. The drinks are also top notch. They don't skimp on the Tequila and they don't skimp at all when it comes to service. We were consistently checked on and everyone there was helpful and friendly. They have a mariachi band playing and on the Friday night we came, they had a Jenny Rivera cover artist. She was really good and you can tell people came just to listen to her while they enjoyed their food and drinks. Ill be back to try more food and drinks but this time I'll take my time because we had a concert to get to and had to leave before we could enjoy the entertainment.

Like a trip to Mexico without the hassles at the border! Two visits so far -- one on the weekend and one midweek. There's a mariachi on the weekend, and futbol on the TV screens always. Three of us split a big order of ceviche the first time and it was just plain wonderful! The second visit I tried the sopa siete mares which ended up providing me with lunch the next day! Others in our group had fish prepared different ways, all of which were excellent. The wait staff was helpful, personable and didn't make fun of my ordering in Spanish (and checking in English)! So don't hesitate -- try this place!

Delicious and Delectable! We loved our dinner experience here. Our server helped us pick out a few options and it was amazing. We started with the shrimp empanadas, so so good! I ordered the shrimp chavela and hubby had the frozen margarita. We ordered the huge platter of shrimp, mussels and langostinos in this superb sauce. And rice and beans for sides. Such a wonderful experience and can't wait to go back.

Very good food and they have guys that will play music for you also have great Micheladas the bartender was great. We left a pair of glasses there we called them and they kept them for us until the next day will visit again

I like to come to this place. its fast service. good atmosphere. the cantineros are very good drinks so are the pina colladas. I like to eat the burrito tacos con queso. also the morcajetes.

Enjoyed our visit here. The Fajitas were well seasoned, especially the shrimp, and contained a lot of meat. The drinks were perfectly made and everything was decently priced. We went on a Wednesday night, and other than the cook staff, it looked as if there was only one person working the floor but he did a marvelous job - greeting, taking orders, making drinks, serving and even keeping sodas filled. Overall, very pleased.

Came here for a late lunch and enjoyed the food. We ordered quesatacos(Al pastor & Carne asada), camarones empanizados(fried shrimp), seafood fajitas and aguachile. The tacos have a medium hard shell. Not exactly hard crunchy tacos but they were pretty decent. The aguachile was really good and I highly recommend it. My grandma enjoyed her fried shrimp.

Came here for a late lunch and enjoyed the food. We ordered quesatacos(Al pastor & Carne asada), camarones empanizados(fried shrimp), seafood fajitas and aguachile. The tacos have a medium hard shell. Not exactly hard crunchy tacos but they were pretty decent. The aguachile was really good and I highly recommend it. My grandma enjoyed her fried shrimp.

1. The place needs an AC installed or turned on. It's a full house and people are fanning themselves with the menu. 2. The waitress sucks at remembering your order. 3. Carry sriracha for your sushi because "no la manejamos"

This was our 2nd time @ El 30 Mariscos Restaurant, the 1st time was very good, the minute we walked in it smell delicious, there was a mariachi playing service was good , but our 2nd time was a disaster, we where walking in and a homeless was right by the door waoooooo it smell like pee so bad, there was a kids mariachi playing very cute and good singers, so we get to our table and the doors where open so the litlle wind brought the smell in we asked for micheladas terrible, we order a parillada that includes, chicken, stake, shrimp etc. It taste bad 😖, service was bad we had no plates or silverware the waitress was no where to be found. And we dont know if it was the smell that just got would not go away or was it really BAD food. Took a few bites and left.

The ceviche is the best thing in the menu. I ordered Caldo 7 Mares. It did not impress me. Everything has gotten so expensive, I'm starting to notice restaurants trying to cut corners to keep cost down.

Food is great but service is not that good. They took more than 1 hour for a pickup order. Makes me not want to come go back. Food is great, so management needs to step it up and take care of customers.

Waiter spoke no English. Made the ability to order and get good service difficult. Never got my water and several folks got the wrong food delivered. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.

This place doesn't have Lemons and they only have limes, really throws off the taste. Day 2 I got food poisoning from the Oysters or Chevice. Don't eat here unless you want to spend the next two days on the toilet and vomitting.

Had to wait there for like 20 minutes to be charged for my pick up order. This lady then proceeds to take my card with a bad attitude and, because she and the whole staff is a mess, charges my card for a TABLE over 200 dollars. I call her out on it and, still with a bad attitude, gives me a receipt for me to sign. I tell her I will not sign the receipt and so we start arguing about it. Won’t go back there again ever.

We ordered the Carne asada with shrimp and shrimp molcajote. Got the Carne asada w shrimp palte first. We asked about the other order. Waiter kept saying it's coming out. Carne asada was very salty. I was about to cancel the other order and just leave after 20 min. Then our order came out. I wouldn't have mind waiting if both plates came out at the same time. I ended leaving only taking a couple bites. We didn't get charged for the shrimp molcajete but still paid for the other salty plate full price.

Waited for 22 min to be exact the waitress only gave us one menu and never came back..didn’t offer chips drinks or anything.. other table got there after us and was served chips and drinks.. very disappointed with service. We actually walked out because we never got served.

Went their last night for a family birthday and ordered the 7 mares. After a couple of hours I was so sick I'm pretty sure was food poisoning. The only reason I know is because another person in our party ordered the same thing was sick same symptoms. I called and spoke to Gabi the manager and explained to her but she said to go to the ER because we have Covid-19. I explained I'm fine now after a night of hell but still says I have Covid-19 she needs to go through another training for the symptoms of Covid-19 because being a restuarant they need to know the difference of one being sick from the food and a sickness.

This place is BAD. Customer service is the worst. The food was burnt. 5 people in our party and took me 15 min to get my food. I know some plates take longer but give me a break.

Poor food and customer service shrimps were over cooked.very unpleasant taste. The waitress was lost. She was not able to keep up even though there were not many customers...I noticed more waitresses than customers . They kept the main door wide open creating a cold environment inside...

I ordered a large cocktail with shrimp and octopus Wich I didn't receive I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager on duty and I specifically told him I lived in Ojai and that when I got home the cocktail wasn't with shrimp and octopus the manager was really understanding then when I went today and got the replacement Wich I had been honored for Wich I payed 21.98 the lady I the front told my husband tell her this is the last time he was shocked bc we called why would tou scream at a client like that if you guys messed up . Hey make it and that's it but don't make customers feel like they don't want to go back I'm not going back ever and on top of everything I didn't even get chips or crackers horrible service

Place is dirty, restrooms are nasty. Customer service is not good at all. Waited 15min and we never got asked if we wanted drinks or not even chips and salsa. I had to ask for the waitress that was in that are. We live an hour and half away and we wanted to go check it out because very famous. Bad, bad experience!! Food was nasty also

I have been going to many restaurants and sadly this place was disappointing. My friend works here so I decided to go and eat. The food was “ok” and our server forgot to ask for refills though the drinks were really good. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Went to eat and have drinks with a group of friends (10-12) and waiter gave us the worst attitude and refused to serve us , just because we asked for 3 separate tabs and just like that, said another waiter would help our group, never had such a bad experience as we often go eat and stay for karaoke, this waiter (tall, skinny,) gave us the worse service and if she doesn’t like her job, needs to quit or get fired. I will personally will complain with owner , as wasn’t there at time of this incident and bad experience,being treated like this, just makes us want to take our business somewhere else. My group of 10-12 people will not go back.
