Ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and Pu Pu Platter. The lo mein was the best lo mein I ever ate. The Pu Pu platter was good too. Food in general was very tasty and yummy and just delicious. Although I ordered a small shrimp lo mein, they gave me very big proportions. Lo mein was a lot in the container. Only for $5. If you want cheap, comfort Chinese food, this place is it. Highly recommend. Plus free delivery.

We were visiting from California and staying at a nearby Hilton, and came across China House online — so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. The kitchen looked clean, and the service was fast, friendly, and professional. This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Ozone Park. If you’re in the area, you must try it!

Been coming to this spot on and off through the years. They’ve been running this place for some time now and don’t let me down when it comes to coming in for a quick bite. They are clean and quick to serve you. Both dine in and take out are quick if you’re in the area 11421. Usually come for the fries with ketchup and hot sauce . They take Apple Pay and debit cards with a minimum of $10

My family has been going here for years and years, fairly often too. Our friends always want to order from here when they visit. The people who run it are lovely, and the food is consistently delicious, with great portion sizes and lunch specials. Today, being an airhead, I forgot to order my usual S&S sauce side with my dish. Realized this once I got home and, already soaked to the bone, did not want to trek out again in the rain. I was going to resort to those little packets you get from BK, which are nice with nuggets but not so much a substitute for rice dishes. When I opened my food bag I realized that they had included S&S in my order. Happiness tenfold - TENFOLD I tell you. Back to the review. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants and takeout places since moving to NY, and we always -always -always end up going back here. Then we spend a minute or so discussing why we even bother going elsewhere, not that others aren't good but it's normally one or two dishes that we love, but then the others pale in comparison to China House. I strongly recommend the Yang Chow, S&S Chicken and Pork ribs (spare or regular). Also their cheese wontons cannot be beat and are a threat to my diet. I love you, China House.

The food is often well. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because there are some times not so often that the food isn’t always up to par however for the most part it’s great. I would definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite if you’re in the woodhaven area.

I asked for two orders of the fried boneless chicken(chicken cutlets). In the menu says it includes 2 pieces per order and they gave me only 3 pieces…

Gave them a second shot. Ordered and never arrived. Added a $12 tip bc weather was crap. Called and no response. Never got food. Order elsewhere.

Ordered food for pickup. It’s was so so disgusting. I ordered chicken & broccoli with white rice. I received soggy rice and instead of the regular garlic sauce they drenched the chicken which was super white n gross, in oil. The only thing close to bring fresh was the maybe the broccoli Im never getting food from here again. Don’t go here unless you want to have diarrhea and waste your hard working money.

I am a regular customer of this place for a very long time. I stop for quite a while after i felt the food wasnt tasting as good, but i returned. It's a couple times I found a stapler in my food, now I thought it fell in it from the food tray or the paperbag, however this is the last time I found a stapler in it, this is the last time I'm eating from there.
