Nos encantó! De estos sitios con encanto y buena comida que cuando encuentras sales encantado. Los platos no son de grandes cantidades pero todo está buenísimo. Hasta la parrilla de verduras para chuparse los dedos. No es barato pero para comer al lado de la playa no está mal tampoco los precios.

Hemos tenido una experiencia inolvidable y con una sensación de recordar los buenos sabores que nos transportó a nostalgia . La atención increíble y el ambiente espectacular con unas vistas maravillosas que nos complementó con la comida.

Comida espectacular, el salmorejo de otro planeta. Buenísimos los panecillos sin gluten, uno de semillas y el otro de tomate, nada que ver con los típicos que te ponen en los restaurantes (cosa que se agradece mucho). La atención excelente, son bastante rápidos y las camareras muy atentas.

Hemos ido por primera vez. Las vistas impresionantes. La comida bastante bien. El arroz, socarrart, un pelín fuerte, pero correcto. Un sitio de 10. Se nota el aire de hogar y familiar. Un situo pequeño y con encanto. La comida impresionante, todo buenisimo y a un punto perfecto. Los mejillones y el arroz negro una pasada de bueno. Y el personal? Maravilloso, un trato genial, sin postureos. Servido todo muy rapido y con los tiempos perfectos. Bonito, coqueto y con buenas vistas al mar si puedes comer fuera.

El lugar precioso, la comida excepcional y el trato muy cercano. Nos ha encantado. Cenamos: Cazuela de mejillones de costa salteados (para chuparse los dedos); Berberechos con ajo, guindilla y vino blanco (de los mejores que he comido nunca); Tartar de berenjenas y sardinas ahumadas con pan de algas (espectacular); Calamar de potera a la plancha con aceite verde de ajo y perejil y pakchoi y patatas Monalisa confitadas al laurel (riquísimo). Felicidades por el restaurante, el ambiente y la comida.

Great place overlooking the beach, ask for table 25, it’s upstairs and the view is beautiful, very romantic! Good waiting staff, not over attentive, good mix of starters to share or just for yourself. Good choice of meat and fish too! Wine not overpriced, the white wine was nicely chilled. I always give 10% as a tip, there’re worth it.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation and were a little disappointed at first to find that only indoor tables were available. However, it turned out to be even better than sitting outside – our table was upstairs by the window with a stunning view of the sea. The food was absolutely delicious: authentic flavors with a modern touch, beautifully prepared and full of taste. Everything we tried was fantastic. Highly recommended! Would definitely come here again!

We’ve been coming to La Blava every year for a few years on our family holiday and absolutely love it. The setting is beautiful, right by the beach, and there’s a nice buzz to the atmosphere, especially upstairs where the kitchen is partially open so you can see the chefs cooking while you eat. The food is delicious and really well cooked - highlights were the braised octopus and crispy pork belly (never had such tender octopus!), prawn and mango salad, and the burger. The carrot cake for dessert was also delicious, but my one request would be a bit more variety to the dessert menu beyond cakes. That said, looking forward to next year already!

This is one of the nicest restaurants here. They have plenty of choice and a lot of seafood options. I would highly recommend coming here for dinner and)or lunch. But for those who do not like seafood it wouldn't be the best. The food is very high quality and the staff are very professional. It is located right on the beach front. I would highly recommend reserving in advance during peak season which can easily be done online.

Amazing food!! It was hard to decide from all the rice options. In the end we went for the classic paella that they specialize in. Make sure to get a reservation if not it will be impossible to get in. The inside sitting is nice but to get to feel the local vibe, I suggest you sit outside and have a great view of the sea! + you can bring you friendly fur friends 🐕‍🦺 Dogs allowed in the terrace!

La Blava was the best meal we had in Calella! Went for a paella at Sunday lunch time and sat inside, which was a lovely interior. We had patatas bravas and the vegan paella, which was fantastic. Really nice rich flavours and nicely presented. Great to have such a good quality vegetarian option as they're of course fairly difficult to come by round here. The sangria here was delicious too and the staff were attentive and very pleasant. It was full with reservations so recommend booking in advance.

Probably some of the best fried calamari I've had. Every dish was exceptional (except the burger, which was good but nothing special - but you shouldn't be coming here if you don't want fish). As of writing, currently has 4.6 stars but deserves at least 4.8. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and want seafood.

We made a booking a couple of weeks ahead of our trip and boy were we not disappointed. Located right in front of the Palafrugell beach, we get a peek of the beach even seated inside. Food was amazing - had the best crispy squid, tasted like it was fresh from the sea and the best paella in Catalunya (perhaps even in Spain)! The “soccarat” burnt rice was heavenly. Savoured every bite! Our server was fantastic, friendly and provided great recommendations. Only comment is it does get pretty warm inside, perhaps a seat on the exterior might be more comfortable in the summer.

An atmospheric restaurant with an authentic style inside, overlooking the sea. There are several tables outside with a direct sea view, and indoor seating with very atmospheric furniture and ambiance. The cuisine is excellent! The octopus and sea bass were very good, rich in flavour, with quite large portions. For starters, the fried baby squid with aioli sauce is great. I highly recommend this place. Booking in advance is advisable.

Everything was on point here. The view, the food, the colours of the restaurant (beautiful shades of blue). What stood out to me was the prawn salad as it was so refreshing and delicious, especially with the sweet and ripe mango bits. They were also generous with their toasted sesame garnish. Great service too, with all the staff being very attentive to every need. Kudos to the male staff with a very soft voice who made sure everything was alright.

Visited on a Monday in the early afternoon in late May. Had a great lunch at this place. It was fairly busy but we managed to get a table inside with no wait. Friendly and attentive service. Crayons and paper for kids (and a kids’ menu - always appreciated). We had a salad with shrimp, an octopus starter and a sea bass main (along with chicken tenders and chips for the kid). All were excellent. Decent sized portions. Fair prices given the quality. We hope to return here some day and give it a high recommendation.

Un acogedor restaurante con estilo mediterráneo en Calella de Palafrugell justito al lado de la cala. A pesar de ser un restaurante en especialidad en arroces, al ser de noche, decidimos mirar la carta y.....Bua! la comida espectacular, un pulpo que se deshacía en la boca, un calamar con sabor a mar y un solomillo con una explosión de sabores y texturas que hacía del paraíso tu paladar. Ha sido la primera vez que hemos estado y ha cumplido nuestras expectativas. Producto de calidad a precio de mercado. Si puedes reservar fuera mejor pero es un lugar con encanto dentro o fuera. Tienes que ser consciente que está en un lugar de paso y si te molesta eso debes reservar dentro pero perderás las vistas. Personalmente creo que vejie en primavera o otoño en un día soleado también sería un 10. Recomiendo los arroces

A gorgeously situated establishment. Great service, friendly, attentive, reasonable prices. Food is fresh, comes out relatively quickly. Lots of good options in this area, but you'd be hard pressed to find one much better. Try the octopus with pork belly, the shrimp salad, and the black rice. All were fantastic.

The location of the restaurant is truly amazing—it's just 2 meters from the beach and the sea. While strolling down the street and researching nearby dining options, we found this place, which seemed more focused on quality food than on catering solely to tourists. Fortunately, our expectations were met. When we arrived, the restaurant was fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. At first, the restaurant appears small, but it actually has a second floor that offers a spectacular view of the sea. The service was excellent and friendly. We started our meal with pan con tomate and some delicious patatas bravas, which came with a fantastic mayonnaise. For our main course, we ordered a standard paella. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but we had no complaints as everything else was great. The prices are still reasonable, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

La Blava in Catalonia is an absolute gem! We had the pleasure of dining right by the sea, and the experience was nothing short of magical. The seafood was incredibly fresh, tasty and skill-fully prepared. The serene seaside setting added an extra layer of charm, making it the perfect spot for a meal whether a couple or a family. The staff were welcoming and kindly set us up on a table outside even though there was only space for 2 people when we arrived, they made space for us. The inside of the restaurant is quirky. We forgot to take photos of the starters - we did the sea bass ceviche with yuzu, patatas bravas and fried calamari which were delicious. For mains we did the turbot with celeriac purée, grilled octopus and the arroz meloso. Dessert, the carrot cake & chocolate cake were great. If coming in a busy period I would suggest reserving in advance to avoid disappointment. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

El personal correcto. Los calamares a la andaluza eran buenos, pero estaban un poco aceitosos. La ensalada de gambas la pidió mi mujer y le gustó. La parrillada de verduras, un despropósito.
