Tomamos dos tintos de verano y comimos una paella de gambas y chipirones. Todo excelente. El arroz estaba en su punto perfecto y muy bien de sabor. Después tuvieron la amabilidad de volver a la mesa para preguntar si estaba todo bien (algo que ya se perdio en muchos lugares). Gastamos 52 euros.

Lovely restaurant in the very trendy/vibrant area of Santa Catalina, five minutes from the harbour. We visited 4 times in 4 days and enjoyed everything we ordered, it’s great for food, cocktails and people watching. Great varied menu, reasonably priced and great service. We will definitely be back!

Honestly, WOW! During a recent chilly and drizzly day in Mallorca, I found myself wandering near the hotel I was staying at, when El Puente caught my eye with a promise of "Hot Chocolate" to take away. The weather made the prospect of a warm drink irresistible. As I approached, the presumed proprietor greeted me with a smile so warm it almost made the hot chocolate redundant. In an unexpected turn of events, she confessed that she couldn't sell me their hot chocolate as it was, in her opinion, terrible. True to her word, she offered a sample to confirm her verdict, and indeed, it left much to be desired. However, her honesty and the shared laughter over the mishap made the visit memorable. Promising to return the next day as she assured a better batch, I kept my word. Although she wasn't there, a young Filipino staff member greeted me this time, allowing me another taste. It was, as promised, wonderful. With a cup of perfectly crafted hot chocolate in hand, I continued down the street, feeling a sense of warmth that went beyond just the physical. El Puente, through this simple interaction, demonstrated an exceptional level of customer service that was both genuine and delightful. It's rare to encounter such candid honesty in the service industry, paired with the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This experience, though fleeting, stands out as a favorite over the past year, making El Puente a memorable stop in Mallorca for anyone seeking warmth in a cup and a smile that stays with you long after. Rating: 10/10 for a masterclass in customer service that truly warms the heart, soul, and tummy.

My wife and myself spent 6 nights in Palma and we ate here about 12 times. The food is so typical and authentic Spanish . Mixed tapas , goats cheese salad with honey , fried brie with tomato marmalade dressing are absolutely amazing. Their pizzas are baked using hand spun bases that are thin and crispy. The fish dishes are sublime, the salted cod is just heavenly, light and flakey on a roasted ratatouille, the sole is cooked to perfection. I recommend El Puente very highly. From the owners to all the people who work there, thank you for your warm welcome and genuine friendly atmosphere. We felt like one of the locals the way we were treated. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Un restaurante abierto en uno de esos locales malditos que hay en todas las ciudades donde no se sabe por qué ningún restaurante funciona. La comida está bien, (las croquetas estaban muy buenas), y ofrece un ambiente cordial en el que se cena a gusto. Hace frío en el interior. My friends and I went here for some drinks last night. The staff are really nice and friendly. Even if they are already closing they will not drive you off. They will ask if you still wanna order a drink before they close the bar. We didn’t order food because we already ate so I can’t give a feedback about it. 😊

I was pleasantly surprised by this place and returned the next day. What looks like your average local, casual spot is actually a top notch place offering good service and value for money. I had a cappuccino, fresh orange juice (which was absolutely marvellous) and toast with jam (which was exactly what it said on the tin). It set me back around €10 which I felt was more than fair and it was perfect to sustain me for a few hours exploring in town. I’d recommend this place for a quick pit stop and some basic food (although there was a lot more on the menu than just toast!)

Had a late lunch here and all in all a good nice spot. First of all, massive plus for the big Coca Cola, seems to be rare to find these nowadays but always a good sign. The waitress was super kind towards me, greeting and addressing me as “sir” and was very proper in all of her suggestions, never caught here name but was very nice. The food didn’t take too long and were pretty big in portion. I had the beef and foie gras cannelloni along with the jamon iberico croquettes. The flavour of the beef and foie was nice but was drenched by the amount of cheese the is piled up on top. It was a bit overwhelming but luckily, as mentioned earlier, the meat flavour was good. The croquettes also had an okey flavour, a bit too much béchamel for my flavour but nice crunch on the outside. Since I was there late afternoon the service was super quick, but I’m guessing that the noise of the cars would be less noticeable if more people were there. But this is nothing too extreme, the outside terrace is really comfortable and the umbrellas make it cozy. Besides this I was overall content with my experience here and would actually like to come back to try the paella, hopefully I would enjoy that more. All in all, I would come back, but probably for a dinner instead of lunch.

We went at 5pm so it was quiet save a few locals. I had 4 teenagers with me who all enjoyed their pasta and pizzas . The chips were also great . The waiter helped me choose a salad and it was really delicious. All staff were very friendly and helpful, The restaurant was very clean and nice and cool inside . El Puente offers an adequate dining experience. The food was ok and the service was the friendly. The terrace's location on a crossing isn't the most scenic, but the umbrellas do add a touch of European charm. It's an option if you're in the area, but it wasn't particularly memorable.

La atención fue correcta y agradecemos el detalle de regalarnos las patatas de la niña. Sin embargo, las guarniciones de los tres platos tenían un sabor a aceite rancio (patatas, pimientos de Padrón y verduras). No pudimos comerlas y las dejamos integramente. La clara estaba líquida (a mi eso me da mucho asco), la yema dura, el jamón serrano crudo por encima y laminado, y las patatas fritas congeladas y a tiras. Devolví el plato. Me dijeron que ellos lo hacían así. No me ofreció otra cosa en ese momento. No lo cobró. Una amiga pidió una hamburguesa de Angus con queso de cabra, la verdad es que impresionante y a ella le encantó. Se lo comió todo. Otra pidió pizza y también le gustó aunque para lo que cuestan los champiñones podrían ponerlos caseros y no de lata. Por eso pongo dos estrellas pero es de una. El precio… CARO para la poca calidad de la comida y la pésima ejecución de los platos. No lo recomiendo y no volveré. Salí de allí sin cenar y con hambre.

La comida muy rica, los tragos muy ricos, los precios buenos. Lamento haber finalizado la cena con 5 cosas cobradas de más, eramos 8 personas, así que decidí abonar con la tarjeta y luego repartiamos los gastos entre nosotros, fue ahi que nos dimos cuenta que nos habían cobrado 18 euros de más, un error puede pasar así que le avisamos al camarero y nos reclama de mala manera que como podia ser que habíamos pagado y luego nos dimos cuenta, simplemente debia hacer la devolución del pago con la misma tarjeta y cobrarlo nuevamente, tardan en venir, le explico cada articulo que habían sumado de mas y me trae en efectivo 11 euros, vuelvo a decirle nuevamente que estaba mal y me revolea la plata con mucha bronca y malos tratos, a todo esto ya habían pasado 15 minutos desde que ya habíamos pagado, nos queriamos ir. También trabajo en hosteleria y pueden pasar equivocaciones pero nunca se me ocurriría hacer pasar tan mal momento a un cliente. Fue lamentable porque vivimos a 7 cuadras, no somos turistas, nos había encantado el lugar y habíamos comido bien, pero deben cambiar sus formas de tratar a las personas si quieren que la gente vuelva o recomiende.

I never do google reviews. But I really wanted to share this. I got raw langoustine the first time, took a couple of bites, I hope I don’t get food poisoning as another person I saw amongst the reviews. When they redid it I realised they got the poop strain left on them. I took them out myself but some of them just looked too bad. After that I didn’t even bother anymore. I wished they would have offered to compensate at least my meal but I payed full price and didn’t bother to ask either. I even gave a tip because i hate to be rude. I just wanted to get out of there. At least the beer was cold and I was in great company.
