Understaffed. Ok food and drinks.

Unimpressive experience. After a shopping trip at Dior and Louis Vuitton, I went to the restaurant for a quick light lunch with my sister. This lunch turned into a two hour nightmare. We ordered the crispy chicken caesar salad with baby gem lettuce and received raw chicken and brown romaine lettuce with dressing on the salad when we asked for it on the side. When we asked to take it back we received, once again, more brown lettuce, or should I saw less because the portion appeared lighter too. The only fabulous part of this restaurant were the bathrooms in the hotel. Now we all now it’s sad when the bathrooms was the highlight of your “five star” restaurant experience. Thank goodness the staff compted the wine (which was needed) because who wants to pay for chicken sushi.

If you’re expecting a true palace experience at La Terrasse Montaigne in the Plaza Athénée, prepare for disappointment. The service is a mess—staff seem lost when it comes to something as basic as managing parasols, which is unacceptable for a luxury address. The food falls far short of palace standards: the daurade arrived in poor condition, and even the classic steak frites with Diable sauce was bland and uninspired. Instead of culinary excellence, the terrace caters to Instagrammers and tourists more interested in snapping photos than savoring quality cuisine. The setting itself is undeniably beautiful, but that’s where the magic ends. Under chef Jean Imbert, the kitchen simply doesn’t deliver the competence or finesse expected at this level. In short, go for the view, not the food or service.

réservation ce samedi soir, Nous avons était placé sur une table entre deux tables, nous avons demandé à changer mais ce n’était pas possible car réservé pour des plus +3 (spoiler : les tables sont resté vide ou avec 1 seul personne). Plat : déçu par le tartare de thon (présentation, goût) Personnel, vraiment pas digne d’un palace, aucun service, favorise ses connaissances au table d’à côté et oublie de venir nous servir. Nous n’avons jamais reçu nos deuxième cocktail commandé, ni notre eau, ni nos dessert. (Mention ++ au petit jeune qui nous a servie le champagne et le pain st gluten qui était tres bien) ce n’était pas ma première visite mais ce sera ma dernière.

I HAD TO EDIT MY REVIEW BECAUSE THE SO CALLED 5 STARS HOTEL HAD THE ODASITY TO LIE IN THEIR REPLY : Found someone’s eyelash in my food , I LEFT HALF THE DISH UNTOUCHED AFTER I NOTICED IT HAD AN EYELASH IN IT , I OBVIOUSLY PUT IS ASIDE , I WAS VERY POLITE MENTIONING IT TO THE WAITER , and they simply did not even offer to remove it from the bill , with the words : we can offer you a coffee . THEY CHARGE 40 EURO for a salad and they assume people that are willing to pay that , are willing to eat food with someones hairs in it and accept it ???????!!!!!! do they think after finding that , people do not get disgusted ? they replied i eat it , so how do they assume i found it in the last bit ? or must check all the salad when start eating it , because after the first bite you get charged and blamed for it ? No place that respects itself would allow to even get into such a dispute . More than that , drinks and sweets i ordered was paid for . there was no cocktail offered and it is scary that a place like that is lying about such amounts on the internet , instead of being nice and fair to their clients in order to avoid these reviews . shame on such a poor management Never saw anything like that , visited the place for 10 years , guest of that hotel and Dorchester collection as well.

Went in for a swifty after an amazing evening and had to wait quite a bit for an uncomplicated order. Service wasn’t great compared to what we had just minutes before at another restaurant where we dined.

This place was a great disappointment. The food was cold, flavorless, and significantly overpriced.
