Once again, our Christmas Eve tradition of enjoying Ghidottis with family and friends was wonderful! Our food was so delicious especially the Mussels, Calamari , Sea Bass, Chicken Parmigiana and Clams alle Vongole! Kristi, our amazing server was professional , and gave us such great recommendations and service! Thank you Kristi for making our Christmas Eve special for all 14 of us! We’ll be back soon!
Grand interior with equally grand tasting food. Crispy Lamb Ribs are sticky good! We also had the Seared Scallops and the Grilled Salmon Piccata.
We really enjoyed the food! Their bread and sauce was amazing and I had the spinach artichoke pizza, wow, so good! We had a good server Greta, and will definitely go back. It's a beautiful restaurant as well.
Had a tasty meal here. Wife had the pappardelle, I had the pork chop, both were great. Somewhat awkwardly they sat us directly next to another group in a section of the restaurant that was otherwise empty, but it didn't really detract from the meal overall. This was our first time there and we'll happily go again.
Amazing food, pretty extensive wine list and service was amazing. Shout out to Alfredo and Estephany. Hazelnut Tartufo was the best desert.
This place was so good. Everything is so fresh and if it can be sourced locally it is. Great service and amazing quality. You must try dessert the it's made at the bakery that is also owned by the same owner.
Great Italian food prepared in a rustic style. The handmade pasta was incredible, just the perfect tooth to the bite, especially the spaghetti, which I will never be satisfied with basic, smooth strings of spaghetti again, and the meatballs were incredible too. The salads were clean, dressed perfectly and seasoned well, but it was the combinations of great ingredients that made the salads special. We had a butternut squash soup that wad perfect. Using seasonal ingredients matters and Ghidotti does that well. Celebrated our 25th anniversary here but will come back for any occasion we can!!!!
The food is excellent. The calamari is by far the best I've ever had it was fresh and very soft unlike most places you get calamari it usually ends up somewhat chewy. The restaurant is very big so it made it easy to hear what the people at your table are saying. The decor is traditional Italian it has what you would expect a higher end Italian restaurant to have. Service was absolutely phenomenal drinks were always kept filled. Server was very knowledgeable of the menu. Price was very reasonable for a restaurant up in Park City.
First time visit, but will not be the last. Food was very good. We had the beet salad, calamari, gnocchi, and bolognese.
Ate here Christmas eve. Justin was out waiter and was extremely nice, upbeat and helpful. The service was great and couldnt ask for anything better. The food was good for italain food I'm America. It was also a decent price. I would go back or get take out from this location.
Absolutely the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The food was phenomenal. The flavors rich and developed. The service was top notch. Hand sanitizer was provided to the table, and the staff wore masks (correctly) the entire time. Andre, our server, was the absolute best waiter I've ever had. He was helpful, descriptive, accessible, and courteous, all without being overbearing in any way. The ambience added to the experience. We were seated next to a fireplace, well distanced from other patrons. The music was unimposing while still adding to the atmosphere. The presentation of the food was picture perfect (in fact, my fiancee and I took pictures of the table just because we were so impressed). We were also gifted a coupon for their bakery, which was entirely no obligation, just free baked goods. I am so glad I chose this spot to celebrate our engagement. It won our hearts and we will be back. If anything speaks for this place, it's that my fiancee and I spent just as long talking about the experience afterward, as we did in the actual restaurant. Incredible experience!
My wife and I went there to celebrate my birthday on a Friday night. The restaurant was very nice. Greeter was friendly and we were immediately seated. The waiter, Henry, was awesome. He explained what all of the menu items were and gave us great recommendations. We ordered an artichoke and spinach pizza as an appetizer, my wife got the farm salad, and I got the lasagna. While we waited, we had the complimentary bread with their homemade dipping sauce. We had several baskets. Everything was delivered to us promptly and it was incredible. I also had a strawberry Italian ice which was delicious. We had the gelato for dessert, so glad that we did. It comes with 4 flavors in individual waffle cones so it is easy to share. All in all, our experience at Ghidotti's was great. I highly recommend going there. The food was great, the prices were much lower than expected, the portions were large, and everyone was extremely friendly. Would give 100 starts if I could! No pics of the food, I couldn't refrain myself from just devouring it immediately.
Very delicious! Went here for our anniversary. Very beautiful inside and the porch seating is lovely outside. We had a lamb chop appetizer, salad, chicken parmigiano and show crab pasta. Everything was superb. Their bread and the butter spread are incredible.
Highly recommend! Food, service, atmosphere = so special! Fiorella was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and helpful. We love her! If you come here in the summer, make sure to sit on the patio.
Food is excellent. Service is attentive. Atmosphere is fancy and comfortable. I eat here everytime I'm in town. But, the only item that was out of place is the food came to the table and they didn't know who ordered which dinner.
First time and definitely not the last. My wife and I absolutely loved dining here. Lucas and his trainer were so great.
On our double date night, we thought we would try something new and classy. So we found Ghidotti's one of Bill Whites restaurant collections. I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The others ordered The Pork, The Salmon and The Filet Mignon. All were so delicious, tender and full of flavor! Perfect Date Night.
Really solid Italian spot in the Main Street area. Lots of outdoor space, but definitely make a reservation. The food is great, and I've never had anything but superb service. We usually order a few cocktails and they dont charge a corkage on the wine we bring, which is always a sign of good staff in my book. Osa buco, great...lamb chop, outstanding. It's a "nice" restaurant but you can show up super casual and no one will think twice about it.
I should have written this review sooner but I have been slammed at work. I finally got a chance to catch my breath so I figured now was as good a time as any. Last weekend a few buddies of mine decided to take me out to celebrate my promotion (to the position that has kept me so busy). I’m no stranger to Ghidotti’s but don’t get to come in as often as I would like, that might change after this visit. The food was as good as ever but the service was better than ever. Our server was on top of things far above what I ever remember. It looks like they have really stepped up their training. What really stood out this time though was the manager, Kristi. She was EVERYWHERE! I can’t remember the last time I saw a manager that attentive. She was all over the dining room talking to every table from what I could see, and even still she made time to personally congratulate me on my promotion and made time to reminisce over the fact that we are both from California. It’s always nice to see someone from back home, but watching her work made me proud to be from her part of the world. So in conclusion, food was good, service was good, Kristi made our night unforgettable.
I have been coming here for years - its our spot for my daughters birthday every year. Even though we go everywhere else in PC she likes it here. Easy to park and take a larger group into.....sometimes you need to call. Great food and consistent. You will not be disappointed. Just dont eat too much of the bread like my kids tend to do. Enjoy.
We have visited Ghidotti’s regularly since its opening several years ago and have experienced excellent quality food for a reasonable price. They are very accommodating and provide delicious Gluten Free food as I have Celiac. The service delivered by the manager Kristi is exemplary along with the outstanding team of servers and ancillary staff she has hired. In fact, the service has improved considerably over the past two years. To me, good service and a happy staff are dictated by the person in charge. As always, the Old World atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful.
I had a wonderful experience at Ghidotti’s thanks to Sofia. She recommended the gnocchi, which were delicious—just like the fried calamari and the amazing hazelnut tartufo. Great atmosphere and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back
Great atmosphere and beautiful restaurant design, very inviting and well thought out. The service was great, our server was from Romania and was so nice to chat with. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth coming back.
Service was great and timely, ambience was perfect with a lot of detailed Italian touches. Food was delicious though slightly overpriced. Still really enjoyed it and the bread was very good. They gave us a dessert for our anniversary too. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-range romantic date night.
I forgot to take pictures before we started to eat. We were too hungry to wait. We ordered dinner for pick up while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn on 01/16/2021. Everything tasted great. The filet mignon tender and delicious but overpriced for what you get. The spinach had no salt at all. The pizzas were priced just right and had great flavors. Would definitely go back for the pizzas. We had to get utensils from the front desk at our hotel because our to go order did not have any napkins or utensils. Make sure you check when picking up your order.
Recommended by a dear friend and we went check it out together for a group dinner. I really like their classic interior design. Their service also lived up to the price range. It's definitely a great spot for friends or family gathering or a date night in Park City at an affordable price range. I would say their pizza is just an average one, but will definitely come back again for their own made pasta.
Ghidotti's is on the fancier and pricier side, but if you're looking for a good place to dine when there's a special occasion, then you should try it out. I went there on my birthday (Valentine's Day), and I honetsly thought it would be too crowded. It wasn't. The place was well-maintained, and the food was really delicious. I had a free Chocolate Pistachio Bombe as a gift from them too!
Great service and great atmosphere. Was only disappointed by the serving size of our dish, but the calamari and bread balanced it out nicely
Service was great. Quite different than it used to be pre-covid, but we were still impressed by the service. The food was very good. If you have a chance, try the scallops, they are fantastic. The calamari was good (not the best I've ever had, but that's an admittedly very high bar, and Ghidotti's is on a par with the second best, which is still pretty good. Wine list was limited due to covid, so be sure to ask before you make your selection to avoid being disappointed. There are two reasons that I don't feel comfortable giving it 5 stars. The first was the attitude of the hostess. She really didn't start off the night on the best tone. I will say that the server tried very hard to overcome that, but she really shouldn't have had to. The second reason is more the neighborhood, so perhaps it isn't entirely fair to dock the restaurant for this, but you should be aware of it if you are planning a special event here. The restaurant is across the street from Red Rock brewery, which tries hard to be a bar, including loud music, which penetrated into the restaurant. So if you are there on a weekend, or holiday, or some other event, the beautiful ambiance of this place (and the obvious care and attention that went into the design and building of the establishment), may be affected.
We had a very nice dinner here, the food was excellent, as was the restaurant atmosphere. My wife had a beet salad, and salmon linguini, both were excellent. Their pasta is homemade, and was exceptionally good. As a vegetarian, I was looking forward to a plate of pasta with some sauce & vegetables such as broccoli or artichokes, but alas there was no such offering. I will say however, it was perhaps the best plate of spaghetti with black pepper I’ve tasted. A good vegetarian choice on the menu certainly would have earned 5 stars.
We head here every year while visiting Park City. It's away from the downtown crowd. Good Italian food, nice atmosphere.
Me and my wife throughly enjoyed this place for our date night a couple days ago. I don’t fully remember our servers name but she was very nice and gave some very amazing reccomandations. Unfortunately we were both sick so I don’t think we fully enjoyed it all and maybe our taste buds were a bit off but the food was still great. The atmosphere was super nice as well we could talk easily and it was a very pretty area to be in, especially because it was a rainy night and we were sat by a window. Making a reservation made everything super fast and the cocktails were wonderful.
Really not as impressed with this restaurant as I was hoping. For how much money we spent, I had higher expectations. My steak was supposed to be medium but came out well done. It wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, but by the time I got my correctly cooked steak, the entire family was done eating. The lasagna noodles were also too cooked for my liking. The service also felt very slow and we were there over two hours.
Located in Kimball Junction this restaurant has a great ambiance. On a cold evening request a table by the big fire place. We did experience a couple challenges however the manager was quick to resolve and the manager was attentive to the situation and our feedback. The chicken Parmesan was good.
Service was friendly but slow. We got put with a waiter who was training, which wasn't too bad, but he forgot a few things. The sauce that came with the bread was weird. For an Italian restaurant, the pasta dishes were kinda mediocre.
Nice waitress but incredibly slow. Had to ask other servers for water, food ,drinks because she would disappear. Portions were tiny for the price, esp the veal. Focaccia bread was cold and bland. Served with a mustard sauce instead of butter?🤷 Tiramisu was nice but definitely not your normal tiramisu.
Very fancy, food was delicious, service could have been better -- did not offer us any desserts, also could be more informative of the menu -- we're not familiar with all the Italian names, could have smiled more for being in such a fancy restaurant, but everything else was good 😊
Food is average. Calamri was chewy, Chicken Cacciatore was exceptionally salty, and other people at the table commented that their food was fine. Salads were enjoyable and service was good. Martini was served at room temperature. Probably won't return
The restaurant is quite large, has some bold interior decorating. Lots of tables, and a nice bar area. The service and staff were all very attentive, and kind. The issue here is the food - it was Olive Garden or a little worse. My wife asked for salt and pepper for a pizza (never have you ever, right). The calamari was a good appetizer, but both of us left entrees feeling like dinner was a missed opportunity in PC.
Service was poor. We ordered a $180 bottle of wine but no one came to refill glasses so we ended up pouring it ourselves. The restaurant has a high quality wine list, but none of the wait staff had knowledge of it, there was no sommelier, and our questions about recommendations had to answered by the bar tender. We had to repeatedly ask for more water - wait staff never checked. The pork osso bucco was tender but unremarkable. Competent but not special. The pork in the pork marsala was a thin, flat cut, and although the meat was tender, the marsala sauce was too thick and too sweet. There should have been a better balance in the sweetness (combine both sweet and dry marsala instead of only sweet), and the excessive thickness of the sauce was probably due to too much roux or simply too much flower. It also should have been more complex. The marsala dish was simply mediocre. We had tiramisu for dessert, which for a high quality Italian restaurant should be a no brainer. This was served in a cup (like a big coffee cup), the lady finger/espresso layer was at the bottom of the cup, thin, and almost non-existent. The zabaglione layer was excessive and too sweet (no depth of flavors, no complexity), and the top layer was a heavy dose of whipped cream. Overall the tiramisu was awful (I'd give it a single star despite my overall 3-star food rating). Given the price points of the menu and the reputation of the restaurant, I was quite disappointed. The atmosphere is pleasant, the decor is apropos of an higher-end Italian restaurant, but the experience was less than average and certainly not a good value.
This is/was one of my favorite restaurants but it failed last night. I ordered my go to Baked Salmon, as I write this review I regret that I didn't take a photo. The salmon was about 1.25" long and 3.5 " wide, no more than half the size you might expect at a decent restaurant. It came with luke warm Linguine. We were a party of five and two of the glasses of water each had a dead spider, no kidding, a dead spider in each. The waiter said he would bring it to the attention of the manager. The service was slow, we were in there for two hours but a shout-out to busboy Tomas from Argentina, his first week on the job and he was personable, efficient and had great English. Apart from the spider surprises the other members of our party were pleased with their food. Hint... we usually only order french wine but a friend introduced us to an inexpensive (cheap) California wine called Bonanza. Go figure, I would never have selected a wine called Bonanza! Well, they have it here and it's surprisingly good and might be the cheapest bottle on their wine list, give it a try.
Yikes , the food was terrible. Way overpriced for the flavor, quality of ingredients. We had Meatball sliders, Veal, Spaghetti, and 3 other dishes. Don't do it.
Overrated and overpriced. This was definitely the worst Spaghetti Carbonara I’ve ever had. My sister also ordered the same dish and we had the same experience - the sauce tasted like pasta water and then pancetta was made up of large fat chunks that were seared at best. One of our Chicken Parmesan dishes was okay, whereas the other had undercooked chicken and when it was sent back, our waiter disappeared for 15 minutes. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was mediocre. They claim to have homemade pasta but it seems our expectations were too high coming into this restaurant. Although the service started out as good, it slowly kindled into basically nonexistent. It took over 20 minutes to get 2 more glasses of wine. I will say though, the redeeming qualities were the appetizers. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip and the Calamari, which were very yummy. I would only order that again. Overall, the food barely touched the mediocre line and they need to find a new Carbonara recipe. Our stomachs now hurt… We just tried the “gelato” and the Tiramisu. The tiramisu has potential but it needs less cream and more coffee ladyfingers because it might’ve been 2 tablespoons worth of coffee flavor. The gelato tastes like Blue Bell’s ice cream.
First off, the staff is very nice. That ends the compliments. How it's a 4.0 is beyond me. First off, dusting is not a big concern apparently. We were there for a large, private room event for which they were unable to handle. Tip: if you can't handle a large event, don't take it. The decor is reminiscent and of a 2003 Bravo! And finally, the bartender clearly does not know how to make basic, popular cocktails. The old fashioned was so far from an old fashioned that it was unrecognizable.
Service was really slow, we were there 2.5 hours and there was only 4 or 5 other tables. Took 25 min to get our drinks. Asked our server for more bread 3 times, manager finally got us more bread. Our server didn't speak English well, She didn't put our order in correctly. When ordering we asked if a dish was good she answered yes before we said what the dish was. The shrimp was over cooked. The alfredo was extremely bland. The pizza was pretty good. All food was overpriced.
We are locals in Park City ceaselessly seeking our go to spot! Unfortunately this isn’t it. We live nearby, we’ve eaten here several times, which were not excellent experiences but not so bad that we weren’t willing to try it again. That was pretty much a $200 mistake. some of the staff speak pretty good English, but nobody seemed to know what a dinner fork was. As opposed to a salad fork. The waitress said all the forks are the same size. (Like what? You don’t know there’s a dinner fork and a salad fork?) Yet my date was sitting next to me with a dinner fork, and a salad fork. I know this seems trite but I think it speaks to the quality and knowledge of the staff. One of our experiences a few months ago was a lukewarm/cool lasagna. ?? Pork Marsala was very tough instead of tender very hard to cut through -although the flavor of the sauce was OK. On our visit the other night, I ordered chicken fettuccine. The serving size was small for the price, but that’s OK if it’s awesome! But it wasn’t, instead of having a chicken breast perhaps sliced Aesthetically on the pasta, it had a few chunks of cut up chicken mixed in. Not that that’s horrible however MORE than one bite of chicken had grizzle in it. Total cartilage chunks! I had to spit into my napkin several times! An $8 charge for adding chicken is a little steep, for very little chicken and very gross chicken. disgusting grizzled chicken breast. It’s like they chopped up the chicken cartilage and all! horrible. I had been excited about eating pasta- it’s a treat that I only do now and then :( My date ordered the Osso Buco; again not a very big portion for a very expensive meal, both of them, but the flavor of it was so meh. Osso Buco is usually rich and extremely flavorful. This was bland and underwhelming. So a total disappointment especially considering how much we spent. On a another note I want to ask if focaccia is the only bread in the house? I’m not a big fan of focaccia, so I ordered some garlic toasted bread. Which they overcharged for, and it was thick pieces of toasted focaccia, which I explicitly said I don’t care for, I don’t think the waitresses English was very good and she didn’t understand what I was trying say- that was why I was ordering garlic bread. It seems like a hi end Italian place would have some variety of bread options. The server was sweet and tried to do her job but everything just took too long. We must’ve waited over 10 minutes just to get a single glass of wine. Or the proper fork! It actually wasn’t that busy so I had trouble understanding that.. overall this experience does not entice us to return. We are members of the loyalty program, and apparently they’ve ended their special at this point in time. The promotion would’ve made the experience somewhat better, because it was totally overpriced.
We ordered the chicken Parmesan family meal with salad and bread for a takeout dinner. We’ve ordered other dinner entrees in the past. Tonight’s dinner was overcooked, dry and chewy. My family ate what they could. The cook should’ve recooked another batch of chicken instead of disguising it with the tomato sauce topping. Ghidotti’s advertises, ‘Upscale spot for Italian classics’. Sadly this was not our experience.
I hate complaining but this was comically bad. I’m convinced our table was part of a social experiment. To start, we didn’t get our drinks till almost an hour after we sat down. Two drinks took almost 1.5 hours, one of the two being wrong, and the correct drink didn’t come for another 20 min. Our waiter was constantly disappearing, or maybe just straight up ignoring us because we could see him making rounds at other tables. Eventually we had to get up and find him and ask if we could order our food. Once the meals came, one person had to remind the waiter about their soup and salad, which didn’t come till they were near done with their entree. Our party was there for 3 hours, and that was not by choice. If it had been up to me, I would have asked for the check and bounced before ordering our meals.
I think it’s the worst food they don’t know anything about Italian food the tiramisu it’s a bomb of sugar with whipped cream buy from Walmart or some other store as they past us from frozen and the tomato sauce from a canned is it worse food that you can test but they try to sell it as a Italian I don’t think it’s respectful for people who knows a little bit about good food. I won’t recommend this place at all. They should be closed or serve something else, but not the nasty food that they serve.
Ordered to go dinner, what a sad portion. I paid over $40 and got a tiny little ball of pasta… I’m embarrassed for yall. Have been there many times but not anymore… just got completely ripped off.
