Pleasant service, nice food

As a Brit abroad I love nothing more than an English breakfast to start the day. We are often disappointed by thin streaky bacon and inedible sausages however the Citrus bars food was delicious, tasty sausages and English bacon cooked to perfection. Friendly service, English speaking and AMAZING food, even the dog was impressed with her doggy biscuit treat. Would highly recommend a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Stopped here while on a cycling trip in the area. Really friendly and helpful staff and had the tastiest sandwich I've ever had (Chicken, Bacon, Cheese, Lettuce and Mayo). Would definitely recommend.

Great little diamond of a bar. Lots of entertainment and a weekly quiz. The jam night was so unexpected and superb. Lovely big outdoor area.

A lovely friendly English bar. Great selection of snacks and home made cakes. Great terrace out back with plenty of shade. Love music in the summer.

Had minced beef and onion pie with veg on a cold January Monday and was very happy with it. Cost was €6.50 and it was served with a smile. Had a pint of Amstel. Again, very happy. Will definitely return to Orba and to the Citrus Bistro & Bar.

Bar totalmente ingles en el centro de la Marina Alta en Orba Alicante. Un magnifico Roast Sunday con musica en directo y un ambiente muy agradable.

Buen sitio de cafes y bar de copas, y de deportes en tv, mayormente de gente extrangera.

We attended to see the band playing again, who were great as usual (LA Roxx). The venue is OK, but didn't feel particularly friendly. It was very business like. You want a drink, we supply a drink, pay for the drink. Although it was very busy, it's not particularly inviting to come back (without the band). Quite an expensive visit relatively and not veggie friendly. It's a shame because it's a really good location and great potential. It reminded us of a British pub, where the staff are tired of working there.

Great service, relaxed atmosphere with a view over the mountains. Not everything on the menu was available but what we did eat was delicious. Great place to chill with a beer or two.

Lovely coffee and chocolate cake. Stopped her on a break whilst working. I run a real estate agency and its important to find a comfortable, clean, reasonable priced venue with easy parking.

Always in two minds about the Citrus bar. It's a very " expat " British bar in Orba. Sometimes it's spot on, at other times it's a bit can't quite be bothered. As an example a BLT sandwich can be very enjoyable, another time we had reserved a table for Sunday lunch but because not enough other people turned up we were only offered the standard menu. A pasty and chips when you wanted full on roast dinner is a little disappointing.

Niet erg vriendelijke service. Britse enclave in Spaans dorp, jammer. Britten die er zitten zijn erg luidruchtig. Koffie was prima, hoewel een kleinere hoeveelheid dan op andere plekken voor een zelfde prijs. Wel een koekje erbij, dat wwas dan nog positief.

Poor service, when i asked if they are serving food a rude lady said yes we are! from a bar stool! Apparently she was the owner! We sat down. 15 minutes later no drinks no service, so we left. Was a shame as the last time we were there a month ago the waitress was so warm and welcoming. We may try again in future as a last option if we want uk breakfast. But only go if you are part of the clan and not an outsider!

Changing my review due to rudeness of the owner and lack good service. First time here with my Daughter. Had the english breakfast (cant go wrong) and eggs bennedict which was rather very yummy. Sat inside besause im not a fan of being around lots of people on this hot day. Grat service. The 2 ladies who work there are very friendly and welcoming. 5 stars. We will be back. .

Drove to the citrus bistro today after looking at there website it looked very impressive with plenty of choice, on arrival the rear courtyard hadnt been swept for many weeks with lots of beer mats all over the floor dirty chairs and tables, and looks very rundown, the food menu was very very basic unlike there website disappointed never again .

Visited 2 weeks ago. Sausage sandwich was awful. Definitely not Cumberland sausage. Quiche was not very tasty and tomato on top was hard. It is such a shame - this was a lovely place to stop when the previous owners were there but will not be going again.

Bardziej pijalnia piwa niż bar restauracja. Pani z obsługi nie ogarnięta, czekaliśmy długo, Pani chodziła i krążyła po lokalu. Ostatecznie zrezygnowaliśmy z posiłku.
