Avis sur Gorditas El Parasol Pasaje Sur
Stopped in for a quick breakfast burrito. Ham Christmas style is the best. Fast and friendly service. Food is always fresh and tasty.
Was told this was the place to go while working in Santa Fe and wasn't disappointed. Got a carne adovada burrito with beans and cheese. 100% worth it. Definitely gonna come back to try more of the menu, especially the tacos.
Love the chicken taco combination plate. Very flavorful dish
This review is for The online ordering experience: Very fast, non glitchy and super clean user interface. I will be using again.
One of my favorite places. The tamales, taco’s, and burritos are all amazing.
They have there best tamales in town . Definitely worth the price. Love them will be going back
So first off, I go there for the food and I know that going in... At the one here in Santa Fe, I'm not going in for a comfortable dine-in service. So, as far as the atmosphere rating, that's why it didn't score more than a 3 star. But the food is great! Have yet to have anything just ok. My favorite meal is a breakfast burrito. They have a drive-thru, which helps, but the line can be a long wait if you call ahead or order online, as others order at the window and you end up waiting for their food to be made. The El Parisol on the south side if Santa Fe and newr Cities of Gold both seem to have a dine in area and even outdoor areas.
Tiny place within Santa Fe with great tacos, burritos, etc. Try the chicken/beef taco combo, best value for the most food! There are only benches inside though, so I recommend either going with a smaller group or getting it to go and eating elsewhere. Veggie/vegan option can be requested.
This place Rocks for all their delicious food. They have everything from burgers, hotdogs, fries, awesome breakfast burritos, tacos, monster burritos and their incredible tamales. The restaurant is always clean, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Great place for lunch, quick bite or family get-together.
The Frito pie is so yummy. The red chili is similar to grandmas... Chicken soft tacos with guacamole is a must.
Solid burrito in terms of flavor and freshness. I'm only giving 4 stars because for $15 a burrito you would think you'd get a bigger portion.
This place is pretty good, most of the things I have tried are tasty. I think the breakfast burritos are the best bang for the buck in santa fe. They have pretty decent green chili and they always cook the potatoes perfect. I also like the hamburgers, they have the old school flavor and never disappoint.
Hadn't grabbed something to eat there in a good while because last time I did it wasn't the great - the food or the service. Sadly, stopped there yesterday and ordered a Chicharron burrito and was very disappointed. Burrito literally had about 8 chicharrons in it and the rest was beans, and to boot half the chicharrons were so small they maybe added up to one decent size one - at $10.50 for a this burrito they need to actually put a worthwhile amount of chicharrons in it - I could go get a bean burrito at taco bell for like $2.00!! Interestingly enough - that's the same item I ordered last time and that was at least a year ago - I did call and complain that time - obviously management is not interested in improving this item. They're service left a lot to be desired too - employees looked and acted bored and like they'd rather be anywhere else besides there.
Very small smothered burrito for almost $14. The tortilla was dry from being overcooked. Not much flavor to it in general. I feel sorry for people out here that don’t know truly good Mexican food.
Hadn't been to this location in years and decided to get a steak burrito today. Seems like the burritos have gotten smaller. Only had about 3 tiny pieces of steak in it too.
Bummer :/ I love this place and have been frequenting it since 2012ish. But three times in the last few months -nearly in a row- I’ve called in to-go food and asked for no cheese (bad anaphylactic allergy to milk products), opened my food up to see it full of cheese, called and asked for a refund which they agree to, and yet I have never once actually received any of those refunds. Sucks to keep paying for food on my lunch breaks only to throw it away and starve until the end of the day :/ It was one of my fave places forever and now it’d just be foolish to keep trying. I even tried driving all the way out to the Dinosaur Trail location, got a bean burrito and it was as if they didn’t even wrap the burrito and just stuffed a tortilla and beans in the aluminum? I had to ask them for a plate to eat it off of. Even the cashier looked shocked when I showed it to her and kept apologizing. Guess this is goodbye for good, El Parasol 🥲 So saddd
I was really excited to try this place but unfortunately I was really let down. I got a vegetarian burrito and it was soooooo bland. With all of the good things I heard about this place I was expecting some flavor. The sauce I got on the side was really good and had a nice heat to it. However, I don't want to rely on a sauce for a meal to be good.
Found a WORM in my food!! Unfortunately did not take a picture but after approaching workers with it telling them there was a very obvious worm in my food, with stripes, a head, and fuzz on it, they tried to gaslight me and tell me it was a piece of chicken and proceeded to rudely say, “give her money back so she can leave”. Absolutely disgusting and will be calling health inspectors.
Chips were extremely stale and there was a bone in my shredded chicken. I’ve been to other El Parasol’s and had great food, but not this location.
I've been to El parasol multiple times in my travels through the area. I've never had a bad experience until now. The beef enchiladas were simple, ground beef in corn tortillas. What surprised me was the fact that the red chilli was from a can of some variety. The green chilli was familiar beuno chilli but served cold on top of the enchiladas. Rice had no flavor and was in what tasted like tomatoe sauce just tomato sauce. I also ordered 2 sirloin tacos as you can tell in the picture was just steak cuts with a spoonful of guacamole and 1 olive no heart put into this at all. Get some flavor back in the food. Create your own house chilli.
