I had lunch with my wife at this little restaurant in the center of Pavia. Infernot is a small, elegant restaurant/wine bar with an open kitchen, tastefully decorated to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Rossella, the owner, is a delightful person, extremely kind, and able to guide you in choosing dishes and wines. The lunch menu offers a few dishes focused on authenticity and seasonality of the products. We enjoyed a cacio e pepe and a pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) that were truly superb. The price is reasonable and is absolutely in line with the quality of the products. A 100% positive experience; we'll be back!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during a trip to Pavia and were amazed by the quality of the service and the food. The restaurant is very welcoming, well-decorated, and refined. Without too many frills, but with just the right details that add a touch of elegance. The menu is limited, but perfectly executed, with an interesting selection of vegetarian dishes. We had a handmade cacio e pepe and lemon pasta dish, a pumpkin cream soup, a small portion of parmigiana, and a mock tripe made with egg omelette, tomato sauce, and mint. The service was lovely; the owner, very kind and helpful, stopped to chat with us, making us feel right at home. 100% recommended

A wonderful little restaurant in the heart of the city. It has a kitchen right at the entrance with glass walls that allow you to see everything that's going on and watch your dish take shape. The service is just like the place, high-quality, with a manager who knows her ingredients very well. Be careful, if you go with the intention of snacking, you'll end up being enchanted by the offerings and eating a good, complete meal... but to the delight of your stomach :)

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and very intimate. The quality of the food is truly top-notch, and the service is truly excellent. It's a small venue with less than 30 seats, and a DJ. Reservations are only available online on their website. The fact that it's run entirely by two people transforms any evening you're looking to spend with friends or your partner into a truly relaxing experience, accompanied by excellent food. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

I would have given 6 stars if I could. In short: Quality food, hospitality, excellent wines. The two restaurateurs are very attentive to both food quality and quantity, which is something to be taken into great consideration in a wine bar. Manlio selects natural wines with surprising flavors. He knows the history of each one, and trust me, he knows how to recommend them based on your tastes and the food. He doesn't aim for profit, but to make you feel good. The Primitivo vinified rosé was extraordinary. The cured meats and cheese appetizers, designed to offer an explosion of flavors, were also extraordinary. The slow-cooked ribs are a real treat for your palate, and I can't recommend them enough. The restaurant seats 27, so reservations are required. It's a place where you can talk, thanks to the soft music and soundproofing. I invite you to come; it's an experience for the palate and for anyone looking to spend an evening in a young, quality atmosphere.
