Chicken was cooked fresh to order. It took a little time to prepare the chicken, but our food was hot, made properly, and delicious. Customer service was good also. Dining room was clean. I would like this location even more if I could order ahead of time on Church's mobile app or website.

I went in ordered 2 apple pies. This is my third time going and ordering apple pies and I have to say it was GREAT! Although I had to wait 5 minutes, they had no pies ready but it was certainly worth the wait. The pies were piping hot and had the extra icing as I requested. They also placed the pies in a box also a personal request due to previous times all the icing would be on the paper slit wrapper it originally come in. I must say I was thourgly pleased. Will be going back.

Provided exceptional service. I wanted a particular order and they fulfilled it with no problem with no wait time. I left the Church's on Cullen because of receiving the opposite type of service and glad i made the choice to leave.

The ladies inside were phenomenal they were working together as a team. I came in on a Wed around the lunch hr & it was nice & clean. My food was made to order it was hot & fresh. I will be returning.

I just came back from this location, and brought some chicken home, absolutely amazing nice and crispy. I was craving fried chicken all day, but not just any fried chicken like churches fried chicken I was on my number one go to place. The lady upfront was super nice. The food is good. They probably have the best biscuits around, and I love the Jalapeño Cheese Bombers. Their chicken is good, but be prepared for the high price.

The team here is very nice. My kids love to come here as a treat after a good sport practice. The chicken is a little undercooked for my taste.

The chicken is to tender, hot + juicy. The coleslaw so very fresh + cold. Wonderful combination. Even though I came in the evening I got the unsweetened tea + saved it for the next day.

Their meal deals are great value and I like the chicken strips with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Don't ever get their chicken sandwich. I made that mistake once and their chicken sandwich is very thin all breading no chicken in it. Get the chicken strips or other pieces.

First let me say I don't like to give bad reviews, however it'd been a good while since I'd had my favorite take out chicken. The prices were way out of line, the staff couldn't have been any slower unless they walked backwards and the chicken was cooked to almost burned. I think it was actually fried and when a customer would come in they would refry it. Spent over 60.00. Won't be back

I live down the street and frequent this church's since it's convenient. They're quick too when i need a quick lunch since i work from home. Most of the time I've had a good experience, food is hot and fresh. Every now and then it's a miss and that's why the 4 stars. It's hard to be perfect everytime but they are consistent enough that i come back.

Staff is helpful and the food is good but - FIX THE FLOOR! My mother in law fell while leaving the restaurant the other day. There has been an issue since the day they opened with a drop off in the floor as you enter or exit the place. I watched numerous people miss a step and almost trip while eating there. They have put tape on the floor and tried placing mats around the area but does not seem to help.

It has been quite a while since I ordered from Church's. The chicken was tasty, crispy, and not greasy. The biscuits are super great. It's my new chicken place. Come by and give them a try.

Stopped by on the way home to pickup something to eat. I drove around the building to see what specials they were offering. I saw they had the Smokehouse Chicken combo for $6. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and a biscuit and was pretty good. I would have given a 5 rating if the team member was a little more pleasant.

Was kind of disappointed tonight with our food, normally everyone is friendly and everything is super fresh, tonight it wasn't my favorite. The mac and cheese is my daughter's favorite, it was hard and crunchy this time.

Opened in 2017. Nicely remodeled building. Will lit at night. But, not very clean inside. Noticed grease on the floor near the fryers. Bathroom sink was filthy. For this to be a new location I would not have expected it to be so dirty.

It's Church's. You don't go here if you want the best fried chicken in the world. You only go here for 2 things, greasy fried chicken, and honey butter biscuits. This delivered on that. The place was rather gross and the people there weren't friendly. But again, you don't come here for ambiance.

The food is good. But the service is really bad. Every time I go there I spend about $45-60 dollars. Each time I tell them to make sure all the orders are in the bag. Each time something will be missing. Typically we stand at the counter and count before we leave but this time the in-store service was closed and we had to go through the drive-thru to order. As it was cold outside, we didn’t wait to check whether all the orders items were in the bags, but I asked if all items were there and the lady said yes. When we reached home, we were missing an order for large pack of jalapeño bombers. I tried to call them several times but their phones are off hook and could never get connected. I didn’t go back as it was cold. The employees are very careless. Don’t like this kind of attitude. Don’t think this is going to change either. I go there only because I like the food.

Honestly I just popped in to see what the Tuesday special was. Surprisingly it was a two piece that was hot and tasty with a biscuit. I only wish they could trim the fat from their chicken. I've never been to a location where the chicken wasn't fatty. It has become a normal with this brand. This particular location has to get a better parking lot. Clear lines and boundaries.

Placed a to go order at tgev drive thru. The person taking the order could not hear or understand my order. Went to the window, and it turns out it was a language barrier that was causing the difficulty. The order was mixed up and overcharged for part of the order due to the confusion. Customer service should be handled better.

Ran through the drive thru, the okra was excellent but the mac and cheese was disgusting. Mostly grease and cheese and tiny amount of pasta. I've had a lot of mac and cheese and this might have been the worst.

The recipes to the chicken has changed its disgusting. And the biscuits are DRY. You have to ask for extra honey on the biscuits. Which the cashier made sure she did. That's the only reason i gave it 2⭐.

They appeared to be short staffed, the young man was working front counter and drive thru, he couldn't do it all I waited about ten minutes in line, people were coming in there was a order or two before me that he hadn't handed out so I left and went to Popeyes around the corner no wait good customer service and I was visiting from out of town

We bought grandson chicken tender meal. They charged us for a dinner that cost more than what it was suppose to. Plus we were suppose to have 5 PC's and only had 3. Asked for ranch and ketchup and they gave us none. Then, it comes with a drink and they didn't want to give us the drink without charging us more. I complained to the corporate office and they acted like it was no big deal. Be careful. Check your order.

Over baked biscuits, chicken lacked seasoning (except salt). The drive-thru window woman lied and told me they served wings! This place ONLY has legs, thighs, and strips! We left the pickup lane to find another fried chicken spot bc we're new to the area. No luck, so we ordered and found out the only sides they had were fries, dirty rice, and mashed potatoes. We were done!

Update 09/21: ordered the 10 for 10 which is now 10.99. Got home to find some chicken well past its prime. Most went into the trash as they were overcooked and held under a heat lamp too long. Not worth going back and will go elsewhere next time. Previous: Store just seems to have had better days..I used the drive thru and food was hot and tasty when I got home about ten minutes later.

Chicken was great the mash potatoes were instant you can taste it, the worst part was the customer service. The woman was blank staring at me the intire time as if she hated me and I was an inconvenience to her I had to repeat myself 3 times before she responded to anything I had said got my order completely wrong I orded a 5 piece and the ticket said 4 then I was given 3 with no sauce went up to the conter and they gave me the bottom of the barrel tiny strips. Beware they will serve you Pre cooked food, not fresh at all. They cooked the okra right then and there but the main course, the chicken nasty. My family and I love to go out to eat and we chose this place after church with some of our church friends. We both ordered the Grande Meal and my friend's family did not get their large fry and the cashier argued with them over a fry. We offered him to come out and look at the meal and locate it, he turned his back then finally gave them their fry. They ordered a large okra and received a very small paper sleeve with maybe 10 small pieces of okra. I would recommend the place allow you access to simple necessities such as napkins and ketchup. When you have to ask the cashier he doesn't have time to be bothered let alone when we asked for sauce for tenders. He ignored my son and another customer interjected and asked for our sauce. I'm a little turned off by this experience and pray it was only a fluke.

Bad experience with employee. Food was given to me cold, fried jalapeño bombers not cooked all the way, never given my cup for my meal. When I asked, she gave me one. I proceeded to the soda machine and ice wouldn't come out. I told the girl at the counter and she gave me ice in my cup. I went back to the machine and soda wouldn't come out either. I told the girl at the counter and she then says, "That machine doesn't work" Why would she give me an empty cup for a machine that doesn't work? Why would she let me walk back and forth when she knew the machine was broken?

We've been there maybe 3 times in a total of 2 years hoping that it would get better but again today December 8th 2019.... the chicken was undercooked and vary over priced. Just left the drive thru. We ordered some of their lemonade that they promoted before we started our order and they didn't put caps on their beverage bags. So we get in the car, turn out the lot, and both lemonade bags spilled everywhere. Super disappointed.

They can't seam to figure out the difference between white and dark meat. I quit going after ordering all white 2 piece and being charged extra only to get home with dark meat. The last time they even told me that they don't have to give me white meat after charging me for it.

We were missing our large Mashed Potatoes from our meal. Had to drive back since Church's number was not a working phone number. Big inconvenience and waste of gas money for mashed potatoes we were supposed to have with our meal. Most places will throw in a pastry to apologize for the inconvenience. This place is terrible and very shady. She demanded that I give them cash because their credit card machine what's not working told them we did not have any and gave them the card. The card ran almost instantly. Ask for the biggest fried okra they had charged us 8 bucks about and got a very small bag not a family size. I would not think that this place ever again as they seem like they are trying to rob people of their money. To the reply I double checked it is the correct location.

Ordered 1 10 pack spicy 1 10 pack regular. Only got 18 pieces of chicken total and it was all mixed between two boxes. Plus most of it was so old the oil had solidified in the skin making it soggy and stuck to the boot of box by the time we got home less than two miles from location. Tried to call back and got a message the phone was unable to take calls. It was several hours before closing so tried to call a few nearby locations to get a valid number but not one location answered the calls.

The food was terrible. My chicken tenders were so hard that it looked like it was under the heat lamp for hours and it was cold and hard and I ordered spicy and received regular. French fries were cold. The side order of okra was the only thing that was good. I went back and got my money back and they were so ignorant they couldn't refund my money back to my credit card and gave me $7.00 for a 6.99 purchase. I didn't get my tax but I was waiting so long to get my money and didn't want anything else from them. They can keep the change. Help pay for that Church's Chicken education. My chicken sandwich was garbage. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and got a regular then that was overcooked. I'll never eat there again. Never.

I can't believe they got rid of their white gravy. I've been eating Church's Chicken for nearly 30 years and this single handedly retired this restaurant for me. I will not be back until they bring back the gravy.

This churches chicken has good sides except once we gotten extra biscuits and they were rock hard! As far as the chicken, it is not seasoned, very tasteless unless you get spicy which is not good either. And this is only white meat chicken people like me, be prepared to pay extra and barely get any meat off of the chicken at all, I would even say as much as a drum stick! The way they cut their breast meat is the worst I've ever seen. I'm not a girl with a big appetite and 2 pieces won't even fill me up. Everything there is all over priced for bland mediocre food they serve. I have not tried a sandwich so no opinions on that. The absolutely only reason I would ever go back there is it is close to me and if I needed a side in a hurry I would go to buy a large mashed potato and a side of extra gravy. The large potatoes barely have any gravy so if you are feeding people that want brown gravy make sure to buy a side of it! Definitely not the place to spend your money in my opinion!

It was not a good experience. The people in there act like they do not understand English very well. My husband and I asked for a 2 piece dark. We were given a 2 piece mix. We went back to let them know our order is incorrect. It is a good thing we parked in the parking lot to eat when we realized the order was incorrect. The sad thing is the lady repeated our order back to us several times. However, our order was incorrect. We were told they only sold 2 piece mix. I have been eating Church's chicken since I was a teenager. I have never known Church's not to sell 2 piece dark. We will not be going back there. So, they gave us a 2 piece dark. My husband and I only ate one piece of chicken when we realized the chicken wasn't fresh. WOW!

Ughhh!!! What happened to this place. For the past 6 months anytime we come to this place it feels like we are bothering the entire corporation. The plus size girl that works the drive thru has HORRIBLE customer service skills , along with the skinny young guy who worked the window tonight. He did not offer any please or thank you. He just handed us our food, the card and receipt and shut the window. Please get some people in there with some people skills. Professionalism goes a long way, and so does Google reviews. I got an 8 piece mixed, I don't think there was any breasts in it as I did not see white meat. And I didn't see any wings either. If there was I couldn't tell because there was a ton too much of breading on the chicken. My mom asked for a 5 piece spicy tenders and 2 okra and they didn't even bother offering her the meal which is way cheaper, also it wasnt spicy. I wasn't there so I couldn't correct them. My mom didn't realize till she got home. I wish I never bought churchs chicken it was not worth $34.23 and if I wasn't so hungry I would have taken in back myself. I had to throw away over half of the breading because it was to much. It wasn't all skin, a lot was just batter. Wish I could have my money back. Either way I will not be going to churchs chicken for a long time if ever again. I used to love churchs chicken and now its put me off forever I think. I called and no answer. I still stand by this review and refuse to eat there because it was such a horrible experience. Which is sad because i grew up loving churches chicken

The floor is uneven and dangerous and was not properly marked, so my grandmother almost fell over in here. I ordered a family meal and discovered later that they only filled up the macaroni cup halfway, and they forgot to give us the 4 biscuits (much to my dismay). I called the number only to get a Spanish voicemail message, which is ridiculous. First of all, a restaurant shouldn't even have a voicemail, because somebody is always there to answer the phone. Secondly, this is America and the country's official language is English; so, if you're going to do business here, then you should cater to the national language. After calling back, I finally got to a real person. I asked to speak to a manager and got the excuse that she didn't know where the manager was, so I proceeded to explain the situation to her. Unfortunately, her accent was so thick that I couldn't understand her, and therefore I could not communicate that they messed up our order efficiently. It was exhausting and, in the end, accomplished absolutely nothing for me. I will not be visiting this locational establishment again. Otherwise, the food was still tasty, as always.

If you want your business to bring more money to the company you have to have the right personality with good customer service skills not serving cold and old food. Just left there ordering a eight piece family meal only to get home 5 minutes away from the location just to get home to receive cold chicken. If you're not going to service everyone equally you need to close the doors. People I suggest you guys start cooking at home because you're not receiving quality food anymore especially fresh nor hot.

Today is May 11, 2024, I would not recommend this place to any human being. I visit this place at 11:50 a.m. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 3 piece white (spicy) with mashed potatoes and a drink. I got my kids a 5 piece tender with fries and a drink, and I ordered some jalapenos on the side. I’m not sure if the workers understand English or not, but the food was awful. Those people gave me whatever they wanted me to give me. With a little attitude on the side. I got home and distributed the food and noticed none of the food was spicy, the chicken was cold and hard like it’s been just sitting there. I never received mashed potatoes instead I got fried okra. I don't even know how the two sound anything alike. When I bit into the chicken I immediately thought I had Covid 19 no taste at all. Until bit into the jalapeno and realized that my taste was still there and the chicken was just unseasoned. Not even a sprinkle of salt. All for $41.00. I'm so disappointed I wasted my money. Do better.

Went throught the drive through. Informed the woman I needed a minute to look at the menu and she was upset. When I pulled up pay she was very short with me and rude. She clearly does not want to be working here and hates people. Why on earth she's in a customer service job is beyond me she should work at a grocery store in nights stocking shelves with the utter disgust she has towards people.

Did an online order that dis not come thru to the store for 15 minutes. They were not going to fill my order even though I had a confirmation # and proof it had been paid for. The young lady here at churches chicken in food town parking lot in Pearland refuse to give us fresh chicken implying that she has to give us chicken that’s already up there . What happened to customer service and you wonder why churches are going out of business.

The chicken and food here is horrible. This is the 2nd time I got undercooked chicken. The 1st time the batter was not cooked all the way through. It was disgusting mush. This time the chicken again was not cooked all the way through... batter was not cooked and the chicken had blood not cooked all the way through. It was inedible... I had to stop eating. Never going here again. They didn't even want to refund either. I definitely do not recommend. I'm going back to Popeyes. Popeyes is always better.

The employees & manager here are extremely rude and have zero customer service skills. I was asked "what do you want" with a mad look on her face. I would say she might be having a bad day but I work in the area so I visit often. The employees and atmosphere is the same rudeness every time. They seem as if they are miserable working for Churches Chicken. They speak to each other and about the customers looks in Spanish, which I speak Spanish and understood what they were saying. How can managers & employees do this? How is their behavior acceptable by the Churches Chicken franchise? Today they were handling food with their hands, no gloves, hair not even pulled back or in a net. They were also dressed dirty and with wrinkles as if they woke up and just went to work. Not very professional and they represent the franchise poorly. This Churches location is disgusting on so many levels. If I could give zero stars, I would.

One of the worst experiences I have had at a fast food place. Showed up at 5pm and was only one in lobby. Ordered a 16 mixed family meal. I was in a hurry and did not check my order. - our family fry was a child's bag size - our mixed chicken was all dark - the mashed potatoes was basically all gravy - the mac and cheese had no lid on and went all over the bag - no biscuits at all. Was supposed to be 8 A terrible experience NOT worth the time money.

Then they wanted to give me only the 3 pieces of white chicken spicy they had and the 10 regular and still want to charge me for the mix. Whether this location is privately owned or owned by corporate, they need retraining, or you need to clear house and new people. Utterly ridiculous. The girl claims she didn't see me when I was parked in front in handicap. Also she refused to get her manager. That's what the manager is for, to deal with issues. Horrible service, and refused to give her name or the managers name. The more I think about it the more upset I get.

Really disappointed in churches services lately this location I ordered nearly 50.00 of food (yes I could have cooked). I didn't get the correct pieces of chicken she had to exchange that so longer wait. The chicken was cold the orka not fresh. I ordered 2 orders bomber and they only put 14 and she was like 18 comes in the order and she was like really just 4 I'm like yeah I paid for it. Don't y'all want the exchange change?? Then I ordered 2 meals the 3 pieces and I didn't get my mash potatoes just because I ordered 2 additional mash they tried to not put any for the meal. My family loves churches and seen that there closing down and I see why the customer service staff are not wearing hair nets and no gloves. Just because your busy doesn't mean you have a** your job.

Haven’t been to too many places since I’ve gotten here but this is by far the worst. The food was not fresh when it arrived and it looks old. The mashed potatoes tasted moldy and I didn’t even know that was possible (ordered Mac n cheese). The chicken was not spicy as specifically ordered and no condiments were given. Just poor service all around, skip this location. Edit for the owner: This was the location and the order was placed through Grubhub. I am not driving and will not be able to bring the food back since it is now trash. Thanks anyway. I won’t be going back. I read the other reviews and people have complained about not getting spicy chicken when ordered multiple times from this location. That’s horrible.

I was hoping that the numerous negative reviews were some how not true. They were spot on. This location is horrible and I can see why the parking lot was empty. I stopped in to try out the new spicy honey bites but got NO response from the drive through intercom. (Should have taken that as a sign and left). I go inside and there is one young lady helping someone at the counter. After a few minutes I see the drive through guy with the headset appear magically. Anyway, I ask her for the new item and she acted like I ordered a Big mac. After talking to who I guess was the manager on duty, she said yes. I ordered the 20 piece and another 2 leg combo. My bites were SUPER DRY with not a hint of honey. The 2 leg combo was about the same and the chicken seemed old. I hope that the owner reads this and now understands why the profits are down.
