We chose this place for an aperitivo with some friends we hadn't seen in a while. We loved everything about it. From the welcome to the atmosphere, which wasn't too noisy even though it was packed. The drinks were perfectly made, so it was worth the wait. They brought us some fun snacks, including edamame, which everyone loved. The girls serving us were kind and friendly, and gave us a warm welcome and goodbye. A beautiful place, we recommend it ❤️

Up Town has a very welcoming and laid back atmosphere. The Pasta Ragu’ Bolognese was very flavorful… exactly what I was hoping to find in Italy! The friendly staff graciously accommodated my limited knowledge of the Italian language and made me feel very welcome. So grateful to have found this lovely restaurant. A gem!

I've been frequenting Up Town since it was a true landmark in Castellanza: refined cuisine, original dishes, and attentive service. Unfortunately, my last experience was disappointing. The restaurant's menu now seems very limited—the first course selection is practically limited to pasta with tomato sauce or ragù, and the fish selection included only a thin slice of swordfish drowned in overcooked cherry tomatoes, presented in a sloppy bowl, far removed from the standards of the past. The sliced steak, fortunately good, arrived twenty minutes after the fish and was almost cold. I asked for bread halfway through the meal, but it never arrived: I had to get up to ask for it again, and only then did the (albeit friendly) staff apologize. Overall, there's a sense of disorganization and a lack of attention to detail, which were once the restaurant's strong points. It's a shame, because the place remains pleasant and has potential. But today, the value for money is no longer justified: prices remain high, while the quality and service are not what they once were. I hope the management takes these criticisms as an opportunity to bring Up Town back to the levels of a few years ago—if they succeed, I'll be the first to gladly return.
