The location is excellent, with a busy traffic zone and paid parking underneath. The restaurant is well-known, well-maintained, and reasonably spacious, including outdoor seating. Service is prompt, and prices are reasonable for the city center.

Cioccolata calda: A cup of heavenly luxuriously rich molten chocolate, where best enjoyed with a spoon. Definitely not a drink that can be guzzled down in a minute, but must be savoured slowly. The taste of pure, melted, quality chocolate comes through with each mouthful. A quintessential treat when the weather is cool, its a dessert as much as a drink🤎

We stopped for an aperitif in May 2019, we were walking around Brescia on the occasion of the arrival of the Mille Miglia. The place is very nice and well looked after, the environment is vintage art deco style, the staff are friendly and helpful, the drinks are at a consistent price. Excellent for an aperitif or for a coffee break.

I visited Caffè Impero in Piazza Vittoria and, unfortunately, was quite disappointed. The coffee, which is more than good at other similar establishments, is priced at €2, which I find a bit excessive, considering the location and the type of establishment. I understand that it's in a central square, but honestly, I don't think the price justifies the quality, especially when, in a city like Milan, even the most renowned cafés (like Massari) still cost less. If the price is so high, it would be appropriate to better explain the origin and quality of the coffee served, to justify the difference compared to other cafés in the area. I hope this situation can be reconsidered, because Caffè Impero certainly has potential, but I believe that a fair quality-price ratio can make the difference.

The atmosphere is very nice and well-maintained, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service was surprisingly rude, both at the table and at the counter. Added to this, the prices were truly disproportionate for what was offered. The most absurd thing was at the cash register. The clerk claimed that we couldn't each pay our own bill and that one person had to pay for everyone. This, in addition to striking me as unfair behavior toward customers, also seemed like a tax evasion. It's certainly not our job to settle their bills, and there's no requirement that a group pay in a single transaction. Each of us consumed what we wanted and had every right to pay for it separately. We were told that we could only make one card transaction, which is completely unjustifiable in a place like this.

I couldn't have met a more rude person. I asked if I could plug my computer into one of the many available outlets and was told a curt "no." I ordered a Coke Zero (for the modest sum of €4) and was given a regular one, claiming I hadn't specified it. I asked for the Wi-Fi password and was told they didn't have one, even though there were several networks with the bar's name on them. When it came time to pay, they didn't even have the courtesy to say hello. One of the worst services I've ever received.

Watering down freshly squeezed orange juice should make anybody think twice about trusting what they're prepared to give a tourist. Why would they do that? Ripping any customer off is bad practice. Looks can be decieving. Not recommended.
