I am writing this review to highlight the above and beyond customer service of one of the employees. We visit Panera bread at the Pico Town center almost daily, my wife enjoys their freshly brewed Tea. On March 31, the tea ordered had a funny taste(old tasting) so she asked one of the assistants behind the kitchen if she could get a fresh one from the back... the assistant's response was that it wouldn't make a difference, it was all the same, even after my wife expressed it tasted funny(Old). He wouldn't assist her. Madeline(front counter) asked if everything was ok? As we explained the situation, she told us she'd see what she could do for us. About 10 mins later she came back with a freshly cup of brewed tea and apologized for any inconvenience. :) People like Madeline who goes above and beyond to address/satisfy any concerns that a customer may have are huge reasons why my wife and I will continue coming back to this location. She was courteous, polite and sympathetic about my wife's tea concern and dislike. Thank you Madeline, Keep up the excellent customer service!

Exactly what you expect from Panera. Wasn't crowded during my Sat lunch visit. Kind of pricey, but you get real food. Most of the food was tasty. Clean interior. Designed to feel like home. Good atmosphere. Lots of seats were available. Seats are moderately comfy. Parking is kind of limited. Shared parking lot. Staff AND customers were nice. This location can sometimes be crowded. My Chipotle avocado chicken melt was lacking in flavor and sustenance, 2-3 slices of avocado :/ My smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious :) I recommend their fancy drinks, quite tasty when made right :) or the way I happen to like. You don't get much but you do get real food and drinks; if you want fried cancer carcinogens and random ground factory animal meat, you can eat some McD and somehow not complain about it.

Ordered an Avocado, egg white, spinach and egg on sprouted grain bagel flat and it looked very disappointing. It just looked sad especially the little pieces of cheese and the two slices of avocado, and i say two slices because you can tell they just spread them over the bagel to make it look like a lot of avocado. If you're going to put the ingredient on the name of the item then you have to deliver on the name. If you're going to put huge posters and signs by the register advertising that sandwich then at least make it good. Anyway, it didn't help that they took forever to make on a Sat Morning.

Ordered the pepperoni mozzarella melt and it was decent but mostly just bread.... But for $14.19 I would have expected more ingredients. They used the bread a mask for volume and value but you get very little sauce meat and cheese.

Very dirty, whom ever the manager is, definitely not doing a good job of properly training. This is a restaurant you'd think there would be cleaning standards in place. I paid for my food and proceeded to throw it in the thrash as soon as I saw the kitchen area, I'm sure with a mess like this no one in this place washes their hands prior to food handling. Management needs to step it up.

It took time to order. Only one cashier and the kiosk was not really sensing the touch. The food are pricey. But, the food was good and filling.

This Panera has absolutely zero regards for their customer's safety. One night patiently waiting for my food, I was wrongfully accused of staring at somebody, who btw took it completely out of context. I attempted to deescalate the situation twice but the dude saw that as a weakness. He proceeded to yell and curse with families present in the building. He begins to try to charge me but doesnt get close enough for me to respond, Panera is lucky I am a trained fighter and I know when to strike. Mind you, all he bought was a coffee, management had more than enough time to get escort him out of the building as he called us poor peasants for eating at Panera and chose to do nothing. Be thankful I am a disciplined fighter. Staff needs to be trained to respond, not react to individuals like this. I couldve easily sent him to the hospital and not a care in the world, so if your going to eat here, be prepared to defend yourself, because they wont step in to help you!

It’s literally winter, and for some ridiculous reason, they’ve got the AC blasting. So if you plan on coming to this Panera, bring a jacket—and maybe some earmuffs too.

This is chipotle chicken bacon flat bread ! I see a few pieces of chicken 4 pieces of bacon and 4 pieces of tomato!!!! I paid $12 for this ??!!! I am so disappointed! I can’t even take it back because i spend all my break time to pick up this order !!!

Ordered a sandwich from this Panera and it came with a long black hair inside tangled in a piece of turkey breast. My hair is short and purple so I know it wasn’t mine. Please make sure your employees tie their hair properly.

Not what I expected. Food was the same but the atmosphere in the patio area needs work. Hope they get to it.
