ORTUS - Casa Newton

Truly an amazing experience. We’re staying at Casa Newton and went for dinner last night. The food is incredibly fresh and authentic Italian cuisine with farm to table ingredients. The sunset from our table was beautiful, service was amazing. Highly highly recommend to anyone in the area! If you can go, go!

Visited in August 2025 – Great Experience! The ambience was really nice, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to Elis, who served us with great patience and care. He took the time to explain the dishes and even recommended a few to try, which turned out to be spot on. We also had a lovely bottle of rosé Prosecco called Popnat, which paired perfectly with the meal and added a special touch to the evening. Highly recommend this place!

Wir waren in unserem Honeymoon und sind nach einer tollen Führung durch das ganz besondere Hotel Casa Newton zu dem Restaurant gekommen. Der Abend war ein absolutes Highlight. Die beste Pasta Cacio Pepe die wir je hatten und das Fleisch war der absolute Hammer! Dazu der Service wahnsinnig nett und das Ambiente mit einem tiefroten Sonnenuntergang einfach magisch! MUST DO!

Dinner was an absolute delight. We had aperitifs overlooking the view from the perfectly manicured kitchen garden to the rolling Tuscan hills, before coming inside for a fabulous meal. The taglioni with prawns was possibly the best pasta dish I’ve ever had, be sure to choose it. The service was also exceptional, with our waiter, Elis, the perfect balance of informative, friendly and thoughtful. 10/10

everything is perfect, the food, the atmosphere, the location and, last but not least the very well kept "ortus" plenty of delicious vegetables.

Skip the restaurant but go for a sunset drink. The food was unremarkable, especially for Tuscany. Service was pleasant but too infrequent.
