This Chinese restaurant in Plano is absolutely outstanding! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. every dish tastes authentic and made with care. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food in Plano!
This charming, beautiful little piece of heaven is a rare find now a days, it’s steeped in tradition, family and quality and I have to say it’s mine an my Girlfriends new favorite Chinese spot, the family has a beautiful story and is holding a beautiful tradition in there food, it’s unique, it’s delicious, it’s simply a place apart that you don’t see much of anymore, as someone with deep family values myself I love this perfect little slice of love, it reminds me of my family and I highly recommend
my favorite local place to go for some orange chicken and sesame chicken!! I come here once a week, and they have lunch specials every day til 3pm. Family owned, amazing food, somehow not many people know about this place so it’s much quieter than other restaurants! We love canton :)
We love it here, best Chinese food and we drive past many others to get here. Fresh, Hot, friendly and reasonably priced. Plus you can read the walls while you wait. Food comes out fast.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. Good, flavorful, and unquestionable Chinese food is hard to come by and Canton Express did not disappoint. I tried the Hunan Chicken and Shrimp, great flavor and spice. Shrimp were a nice size and they didn’t skimp. My new go-to!
Dude, go to this place asap. Killer noodles, large portions of meat and veggies in the dishes, and in the evening they have bar food like poppers and mozzarella sticks available which are totally bomb as well. Oh and ask about desserts too, and the ribs are crazy good. I’m eating my way through their entire menu, probably get done in about a decade.
This was my first time of ordering from this restaurant and it was really really good for being Chinese delivery! I ordered the lunch special of the sesame chicken with extra sesame sauce, garlic chicken wings also on a lunch special and the food was super fresh tasting ! The lady who delivered the food to me was also very kind and courteous and friendly I will be ordering from here again plus the food came hot and the sesame chicken -I like it crunchy underneath that sauce and they managed to achieve that perfect taste! Really superb!
Omg this place is AMAZING! First time ordering and I got the lunch special of sesame chicken, fried dumpling and an extra egg roll. Let me tell you...phenomenal! Everything was nice and hot. Crispy egg rolls and dumplings. Just over the top. Can’t wait to order again!!
Food taste great! Typical Chinese spot but their food taste wayyy better than most other places. I customized my order and it was made exactly how I wanted it.

The facilities are older but the food absolutely makes up for it! Portions are generous and tasty as can be. Feels like walking into a home and ordering from a family member. I will definitely be visiting again! Places like this need to be protected.
If you like good fried rice that is a little bit more brown, this place is hands down the best place to get St. Louis style (Dark brown) fried rice. You have to specifically request it and they will know what you are talking about. The owners and people that work there are super friendly and the atmosphere is nothing like your typical boring Chinese restaurants. While I was waiting for my order, the owner pretty much greeted every customer that came in either by their name or nickname. Will definitely be back!
The food is very good; if you want to try something tasty , this is the place.
This is my go to when it comes to Chinese take-out. Been coming to the location for about 3+ years. Always a banger when it comes to food. Great options and beautiful service. Would personally recommend the sesame chicken and the fried shrimp. You can never go wrong at Canton Express.
Husband got pork fried received, General Tso’s chicken and egg rolls. Food was amazing. He said Hemeral Tso’s was best he had had in years. Check this place out for good food and service

This Chinese restaurant is the real deal. The food is delicious, cooked perfectly, and fresh! The egg rolls are homemade and fried to perfection. The owners are a Blessing, and this was the best Chinese food experience I’ve ever had! Absolutely very highly recommended!

Despite the restaurant being 30 minutes until close, I still received high-quality food! I ordered their fried dumplings, sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and a spring roll. I'm a huge critic when it comes to dumpling sauces, and most places I've been can't seem to get it right, but Canton Express did! The sauce is a nice sweet and salty mix that went perfectly with the dumplings. The dumplings themselves were decent; they were a little soggy, but that could just be because my order took a while to get delivered. The fried rice was a pretty large serving and came piping hot , but it lacked a little in flavor. I spiced it up by adding my own special soy sauce and some chili oil, which made it 10× better. The sesame chicken has a great flavor, I just wish the chicken was a little less soggy, which once again could be due to the delivery time. Lastly, the spring roll was good, pretty standard flavor. I do think everything was a tad expensive, I spent almost $60 for 2 entrees and 2 little appetizers. Overall, I would definitely order from here again, maybe just during peak hours instead.
Small Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. Restaurant is a little run down and it's cluttered but the service and food were very good. Lunch prices are fair. Recommend.
Somehow I had avoided this place for a while due to its hit or miss reviews when it first opened a long time ago. But tonight I was craving Chinese food that was nearby (like less than a mile from me), affordable, and has variety. I ordered the hot & sour soup, egg drop soup, curry chicken, lobster shrimp, and moo goo gai pan. Everything tasted as they should and more. My only minor complaint so far was the egg drop soup; it tasted slightly off and I do prefer it over other restaurants I’ve been to. The hot & sour soup, however, was good. The highlight was the lobster shrimp with its silky egg texture and light sauce that I wish I could replicate at home. I agree with one of the reviewers here that it is a quiet no-fuss spot and it is family-owned. Service is efficient, friendly, and food seems to be consistent so far I’ve had them. I hosted for new year’s eve dinner last night and zero complaints from family and guests. Also appreciate some of the photos they included for the online menu. Anyway, I plan to return soon and check out their other dishes!

This place is really good and worth. The taste is traditionally excellent with verity of options. Their service is really appreciated.
Not sure if we just had bad luck or ownership changed since the last time we were there 5 or 6 years ago. I had the B1 Pepper Steak and the flavor was more Chinese/American meaning that the flavorful brown sauce was so sweet that it felt like I was having brown sugar with veggies, the pepper part, steak or spicy was not there at all like it is on a real 100% Chinese plate. It’s really hard to find a good Chinese place like in NY or San Francisco unfortunately most of them use so much of that sweet brown syrup. My wife had the S2 Kung Pao Shrimp with the same problem but worse not just sweet but extremely salty we wish places like this would let customers add salt, soy sauce or that brown sugar stuff on there own. We understand you have to make it sweet for most Americans customers but it is a little to much. We tried to be respectful to not return in but sadly enough will probably never be back. And the place its not very clean at all, not sure how they keep passing any kind of city inspections, bathroom handles, toilets, and vanity has been detail since the last time we were there

Beef was WAY over tenderized, texture was like lunch meat. Same for the chicken. Ugh! Wasted 2 dishes, it’s so frustrating that Chinese food places try to make the meat so weirdly tender, breaking down the meat with baking soda until it’s mushy! Meat needs TEXTURE! Excellent egg roll, rice, egg drop soup. First visit. Had read good things…not sure on a return.
Ordered Char Siu (cantonese bbq pork), veg with garlic and fried rice. Recieved stir fried pork drowning in red liquid. The pork is supposed to be bbq'd with a red marinade, not a sauce. The veg was served in a thick salty brown sauce instead of being sautéed with garlic. The fried rice was dried out and in clumps. I know Cantonese food and this was not how it should be.
