We stopped by by chance for a quick lunch. We had ceviche and grilled cuttlefish. Service was a bit slow despite us being the only ones there, but the dishes were light and delicious. For two, we paid €14.

This is not a '5 star' restaurant but it was a fun little place. We caught them for a late lunch so we were the only people in the place. The service was good. The waiter spoke English. The food was tasty and attractively presented but was a little on the salty side for me but I don't do much salt. I would go back. We had the Molchajeye mixture bowl and the bbq ribs. Ribs were pretty good but the molchajete bowl was the centerpiece. We really enjoyed that. I ripped into it so fast I forgot to take a picture.

We ate here as a family but I think it is a different location to that shown on maps. It is the other side of the road and down the block a bit and looked different inside. We had smoothies and a margarita, grilled chicken for the kids, Caribbean grill and seared ribs. It was all good and the service was good. We enjoyed it.

We saw this place as my buddy was looking for a seafood restaurant. The guy who invited us at the restaurant and the rest of the waiting / kitchen staff are really nice. The food, I must say, are all delish. The only downside is that they automatically add a 15% on our bill for a party of 3. Also, the guy is not knowledgeable about how foreign transaction works on the card machine. He said you automatically pay mex peso on their machine but really charges your country's currency so you essentially get the worse convertion. There was an extra step to be done but he didn't know it. A little mishap but overall, the experience was okay.

Good restaurant, with prices comparable to its competitors. Be sure to check your bill carefully, as the restaurant included a 100-peso tip in the total (we didn't notice) and then suggested you add another tip, bringing the total to over 200 pesos, or about 10 euros. We didn't find that very fair.

I've been here several times of the last few years of coming to Playa and it has always been so fantastic! Excellent fish tacos, great margaritas, swings to sit on, etc. However it seems like it's gone seriously downhill. When we stopped in for dinner we were told that 90% of the menu was unavailable and that the rest of the menu, including fish and shrimp tacos, were only available from 11am - 1pm...maybe...if the delivery comes. The woman next to us who seemed to be friends with everyone working there was enjoying a margarita but we were told that they were out of everything - no beer, no tequila, no nothing - even though I could see it on the shelves behind them. Sad since this place used to be a really great, hole-in-the-wall gem in Playa but now...no bueno.

It's the only restaurant in Mexico that I've been where they added taxes to the bill. And when I asked why, they gave me a condescending response. Half of the menu was unavailable. They don't do a good spicy aguachile. I also ask for "Pollo pibil" and was bad. If you are looking for a place with better food across the street there's a antojeria that's pretty good ☺️
