Onion rings are incredible. The texture of the batter is unlike anything I’ve ever had. I can honestly say these are the best onion rings I’ve ever had. No hyperbole!

There are some serious food rivalries in Ontario. Local burger joints that have competition in the hearts of the people who live or commute past two clear options are no exception. Champ Burger vs Superburger is a question you can ask anyone who has been going to blue mountain from the western GTA....they will all have an answer and mine is clear and simple SUPERBURGER OVER CHAMP BURGER EVERY TIME...... Apache vs magoos in etobicoke is another example... apache over magoos for me. anyways, the food here is amazing, get the banquet burger combo, it's pretty perfect, maybe let em know light on the sauces unless you want your burger swimming in generosity. EDITED TO REPLY TO SUPERBURGER Bring the Apache Grape Drank to Superburger and call it Apache Grape. The world needs to know the links, this is awesome foodie info. This is a classic stop for me on the trip up north! Burgers are full of flavour - my go to is the banquet burger with the works. Great bun, fresh toppings and juicy, tasty patty. Some of THE BEST ONION RINGS I have ever had - they are huge and loaded with crispy savory batter. Also the renovation is pretty nice and they have lots of outdoor picnic tables if you want to grab a bit in the sun.

Our must-stop and must-have when we are in the area. Can never go wrong with their chunky non-soggy golden fries and substantial burger patty. Love the diversified friendly and efficient staff as well!

when you see a name like superburger you have to really question whether it's going to be quality. It was absolutely hands down...one of the best hamburgers I've had... Not to mention the homemade onion rings, fresh cut fries and gravy. I can see how this place is extremely popular and it's been around since 1983.

The fries are so good! Thick, crispy on the outside. The cheeseburger was juicy and flavourful. ( Before entering the restaurant, the smell reminded me of Harvey's back in the day...that charbroiled smell♥️).

Superburger is consistently good food quality. I had the banquet burger and my wife had the grilled chicken. Both very good and the fair prices. Chocolate shake was pretty awesome as well. Staff is efficient and polite.

The food and the staff here are phemonimal! The burgers are out of this world and its hard to choose between their chrispy onion rings or their golden delicious French fries. This is a special place that we always have to make a stop at half way through our 4 hour drive to visit family. Honestly, it's what gets me through the first two hours of toddler meltdowns and asking "are we there yet."

A classic charbroiled burger with solid flavour. A location that has been around for decades, but has seen upgrades and improvements to make it modern and a well enjoyed stop on your trek north, or venture south. Burger was extremely filling, and the small poutine was more than enough for two to share. Definitely a stop that's going to be made again in the future.

We drove for an hour and a half for my husband to try my favorite burger spot. I have been traveling to eat at this joint since I was in school 8 years ago. The burgers are fresh, juicy and delicious. Will continue coming back!

We had great hamburger meals here! A great classic stop. I had a banquet burger and it was excellent but all the burgers were great! And surprisingly their fries which were kind of a mix between a french fries and wedges, we're amazingly scrumptious. I will return again.

Great poutine: nice dark gravy, fresh tasty curds. Also a big fan of the pecan square: nice 3 mm top crust where filling formed a tasty chewy caramel. Burger was also nice. Nice shaded picnic tables outside.

One of my favourite spots to stop for a bite whenever heading up north. They have a variety of different options on the menu besides burgers and the food is always fresh and tasty. Also plenty of space to sit inside or on the benches outside.

Great place to stop for a bite to eat, the restaurant was clean and inviting. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. Bonus is there is semi parking there around the north west side of the building so there is room for big trucks and travel trailers etc. If more places had parking like these guys I would think they would be more successful. Great food, and service. I have been here many times. On the last trip, I dropped my sovlaki wrap on the floor. The staff menber cleaned it up for me, and made me another one. He gave it to me wthout a charging me for it. What great sevice!

If you're driving through Highway 10 on your way to Sauble Beach or Tobermory, make sure to stop by "Superburger". You will not miss their big restaurant on the right with ample parking for small cars and can even accommodate long trailers. You can dine in or eat outside, they have clean washrooms too making it a perfect choice for a quick pitstop. Their burger is indeed "the works", it's juicy and meaty with a charbroiled smokey taste, same like your home grilled burger. Fries were like a crossover of a crunchy fries and a wedges and equally tasty on a generous serving .

This place is a must-try if you’re in the area. We tried their crispy chicken burger, frings (half fries, half onion rings) and gravy. The burger was made with fresh and high quality ingredients particularly the bun and the chicken patty. They have one of the best onion rings I have had in Ontario (fries were not bad either). I also liked that the gravy wasn’t salty. Will definitely be back again!!

Hands down, bar none, zero contest the best burger and fry I've had in a very long time if not ever. Also if you know your food. They're using beef tallow to deep fry. This round of the The battle of the two bigger joints across the road from each other; goes to super burger. Burger and got dog both cooked perfectly to a medium well and full of flavour. This place is awesome. Everything from the exterior look to the atmosphere inside to the packaging from the burger give you the feeling of Starbucks meets classic burger joint. So Nostalgic and the service is great, I love the renovations over the years but I do miss the Old School Superburger. Food is delicious, people are friendly and the atmosphere is great. They're a must-stop place if you're traveling. It's clean and the bathrooms are clean and the parking lot snow gets cleared as well as they have lots of parking.

One of the best burgers I've had in Ontario 🍔. They serve classic, large, and juicy burgers, not the bland crushed patties I dislike. The fries are chunky and crispy, and the poutine gravy was flavorful, not salty or runny, with bacon crumbles. It's definitely worth the 65 km trip for us!

First time here... A great looking banquet burger, thick and meaty, cooked to just the right amount of juiciness. LTBpeppers on a light and airy bun. Paired to a chocolate milkshake with (espresso 50¢) and an amazing brown gravy and curds poutine. Good eats at a modest price. Good Food.

The best burger 🍔 We came all the way from Richmond Hill just to try Super Burger, and it was 100% worth it. The area is very nice, clean, and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The burgers were amazing – fresh, juicy, and perfectly prepared. The fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious, exactly how they should be. And the milkshake? Absolutely perfect – rich, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal. Superburger is perfectly named. We arrived as a group of 11 and everyone loved it. The burgers are big and delicious and the poutine was absolutely delicious too. Great staff and very clean. We come often because it is consistently our favourite burger place by far , including the 2 or 3 times we've tried Champs. And if you have room for desert or want to sneak a treat home for later, the Butter Tarts are the best anywhere!!!

Loved the food. Staff is so lovely. But omg...the ambiences, the atmosphere, the area, those trees, those red benches, that Big Canadian flag, and the surroundings, the peace... Just WOW! What a gem! It's a must stop during any Tobermory trip from Toronto. Old-school type of burger joint with a variety of burger options, hot dogs, and wings. The burgers were delicious and quite sizeable. The fries as well were thick cut deliciousness. Definitely will continue coming here on our trips north!

Double burger, onion rings and fries. I ordered my burger plain so i could eat the patties with a fork and knife (no bun for me) with tomatoes and onions on the side. The burger patties were excellent and very hearty... there would have been no way I could finish a double burger with the bun!!!. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and very filling. The onion rings i wasnt a fan of. The oniin rings were too thin and the batter was way too thick for me. Overall do i recommend the burger joint??? Definite yes. Would I come back?? In a heartbeat..

Superburger is a classic burger joint, with a modern twist. The classic ways of prepping the burgers with the works, crispy deep fried fries, and funnel cake like battered onion rings. The option of chipotle mayo was a unique touch on a classic 'banquet burger' (hamburger with bacon and cheese, giving extra spice to cut down on the richness of the meat. My wife and I picked the menu ahead of arriving during our trip to the Purple Hill Lavender Farm , and one of us stayed outside with our dog while the other went in to order. Park bench like patio is very popular with families with dogs. The parking lot is spacious for truckers. I wouldn't call this place "a must go place" but if you were to pass by Shelburne or live around the area and don't stop by, you'd be missing out and wouldn't be much of a foodie.

We ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, a single bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. Now I get the name, it is a super burger! I went for the double patty and cheese, my buddy the banquet burger. Both delicious. Fries are pretty good, maybe a little short of Champ and the Burger Station. The shakes are great. Price point is a little better than Champ and Burger Station. Great service, cheery folks behind the counter. Nice indoor atmosphere with all of the natural light. And lots of parking. So all that to say, we’ll be back!

Stopped here on a whim during a road trip. Got the cheeseburgers and some onion rings. The onion rings were probably the best I’ve had -crispy, juicy, and just yum! Cheeseburgers were HUGE, great for the price and filling. Also grabbed a coffee and it did not disappoint. Service was very quick which is always nice for a burger joint. Restaurant is cute and nicely renovated. If you happen upon this place, I recommend stopping for the onion rings if nothing else!

Nice and tidy spot that caters to a large or small crowd .. burgers are fresh with no fillers.. they forgot to put the cheese in mine but we're happy to sub it with fries ..which shows great customer service! Great place to grab something to eat, the prices are fairly reasonable for the amount that you get. Really enjoy the frings option, although I usually find it pretty light on onion rings. The order did take quite some time to make, approx ~15min and it after what you'd consider rush hour. Only had 2 burgers and frings.

I like the food. Burger and fries are very good. I just think the price is a little high. $20 for a combo. Fries in the combo are $5.15. It’s a potato, come on. I use to come a lot more but the prices keep rising so instead of every couple of weeks, I will come once every 3 months. As a note - best deal for a really good burger, fries and drink for under $10 is Harvey’s. Anyway burger and fries are great. It’s a treat. Quality costs money but I think this is a little much. Places like this need to lower price and focus on more volume. Tonight 6 workers and 7 customers in 15 minute window I was in. If they double the customers they could still be profitable at $14 all in. Anyway just my thoughts.

This is perfect place to have delicious fresh grilled burger, chicken and hot dogs..there is also choice of hot and cold coffee and nice baked muffins etc. This is located at the intersection of highway 89 and 10 and you can’t miss it. Very spacious place to dine in and big parking lot for even trailers. Staff is very friendly and you will enjoy the good quality of food. They have big onion rings and house made fries which I like. Every time I drive from Toronto it is a must stop for me. I will update about timings later. Enjoy 😊

But in all seriousness super burger and champ burger are equally good so don’t be stressed when choosing what to eat in the area. Their burgers are tasty fries tasty and onion rings! Great spot, clean, spacious, quality ingredients and food preparation they just left a tomato off my jr burger with the works, I might of missed it but they should label the burgers to signify what’s on them so you don’t eat someone else’s or get confused, i ate my wife’s, the on in the picture with the tomato. Never been here before and not from area, so stopped to try them out. The burgers were amazing and had that melt in your mouth feeling. The fries were wedges, which were also good. Tried the poutine too. Service was good and the place looked nice inside. There were a lot of seeing available, but many of the tables were dirty.

So disappointed that the old superburger original store is no longer there. It was a landmark. The food continues to be great but the experience is totally different. It's depressing, like a baby gap. Whatever happened to nostalgia? 😞

It's a nice burger joint right at the intersection of Highways 89 and 10. It's clean, spacious, and wheelchair accessible. Dine-in or to go. Picnic tables are also available outside. Lots of parking spaces. Their burgers are great - lots of toppings to choose from. Pricing is reasonable and staff are great. They also sell their own merchandise like t-shirts, caps, mugs, etc. If you're on the road in this area and want to rest and eat, try this place and you'll be satisfied.

We tried the cheeseburger, Junior with cheese and bacon and crispy chicken with Cheese. Toppings “The Works”. Pretty decent burger. Love the toppings. Taste so fresh. The bun would have been nice if it’s a tad fresher or maybe in a broiche style bun. Fries is just okay. Not oily but not to crispy. Portions are huge and worth the price. Staffs are friendly. The place looks great with nice patio outside. Will be back for sure.

They rebuilt this place a few years back. Lots of parking for cars and trucks. For a while they were serving factory premade burgers but have switched back to home made patties. Prices are reasonable and they don't gauge you just because you're in the sticks. Service is good and friendly. They don't turn the grills on until 09:00 but they accommodated our group of four when we walked in at 08:40. I'm. It in the area often but when I am I'll stop in.

A solid burger place! We stopped by on our way back from Southampton for some food and coffee. We got a strawberry milkshake, latte and London fog with oat milk for drinks. Junior burger, bacon burger and fringes (mix of onion rings and fries) for food. It came to a total of approx 35$. The milkshake was too sweet and tasted a bit artificial but not surprising from a place like this, I usually wouldn’t get one but I was craving for one today. The fries were quite thick but came out hot and crunchy. The onion rings seemed like 90% batter and 10% onions but still yummy. I enjoyed my junior burger, it was the right size for me and their toppings went really well. My partner wasn’t the biggest fan of how thick the buns and patty was, but he is a bigger smash burger fan. All in all, it was a pretty solid burger place, especially since it’s the middle of almost nowhere. It’s quite bumpin and busy when we stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday!

I miss the old super burger, miss the caboose. Its higher end looking which seems weird to me for a country burger stop, but its nice. Wish they had more veg options like vegan mayo or vegan cheese but the veg burger was pretty good without those.

Decent burgers for sure. Bit of a typical fast food atmosphere. Service was good. Fries were served first and sat on the counter waiting for the burgers. Without us asking, the guy preparing the fries switched them out for fresh ones - that's good service.

A solid 4 star performance. Ordered the hamburger combo with “the works”. The service was an organized chaos but surprisingly quick. The burger patty was fairly dry. It needed all of the sauces and veggies to make it juicy. They were very generous with the pickles, which made the burger more sour the more you bite into it. There was also a very generous portion of fries. They were fried to perfection; crispy on the outside and tender inside. Lots of fizz in the soda which made the drink fun. All in all, it was a great meal. Not the best deal, but definitely filling.

Good food, good atmosphere but service provided by Martha was pathetic, she was rude and unwelcome towards customers. I don't know she was having a bad day or she is always like that.

I have ate her since it opened in the 80’s. The last few years since the place renovated hasn’t been to bad other then the wait time. Tonite I brought my son her for the first time. We waited 35 min for our food. They said someone took my order. Both our burgers were well over cooked and tough. Almost burnt. I will think twice before coming back in a while.

I just don't get it. Why is the place so popular and always packed to the rafters with customers all waiting for "it's just okay" burgers and fries? Third visit here and I'm still underwhelmed. Although the onion rings were pretty amazing and the staff friendly. Choices are plentiful on the menu but maybe they should just stick to the basics!

I was really dissapointed in the food from here. As a truck driver it's really hard to find a place with good food and truck parking. So I was really excited when I had a load in the middle of nowhere and I found this place after 15 hours of working because the reviews were great and there was truck parking. I arrived an hour and a half before close, was greeted with mediocre customer service and poor food. The burger was bland and dry, tasted similar to something youd get at burger king and the fries had no seasoning. Just plain potato. I am still very grateful for the truck parking and being able to park overnight. Just wish the food was better. Also the urinals have no barriers between them, leaving anyone that walks in to the washroom while you're using them to see your business. Which I thought was a bit odd.

Well today I finally did something I have wanted to do for about 15 years. I got Superburger and a Champburger to see what is better. So here are my thoughts. I will say I had Champ burger first I was definitely hungrier when eating it than the Superburger. So I got the Cheeseburger with the works and an order of fries. Bun - was good it was fresh but nothing special there are sometimes a bun is a big factor it how good the burger is ,this one neither added or took away from the burger. The topings - I got the works I am not going to list everything but was your basic burger topings all seemed fresh and good. Again didn't add or take away from the burger. Cheese - I belive it's American cheese. Pretty standard for cheese burgers, my son thinks it's the best cheese of burgers but I know better. Again going to say this didn't take away or add to this burger. A nice aged Cheddar , smoked guda, provolone or Swiss would add to a burger. The Beef - so I will say with all the places making fresh smash burgers these days I was taken back that a place this busy and with this good of reviews was using a what I assume to be a frozen burger purchased from some meat company. Let's give some credit to the grill operators this patty was cooked as well as I think you could. There was I nice sear on the meat and it was nice and juicy. But otherwise I found the patty rather bland and it realied on the topings to give it some depth on the flavor pallet. I have had lots of burger patties that had so much flavor it could be eaten with out topings this was not one. So in conclusion I give the edge to Champburger. Oh Fries the fries are a wavy stake cut fry. They cooked them well,crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Our family was split my wife and Daughter liked these fries best and my son and I liked Champburgers better. Oh and I say the onion rings and I may be back to try these.

Thankfully the burger was good but the service and atmosphere were terrible. The staff are unfriendly and can't take an order. Had my latte wrong multiple times on the same visit. Water in the washrooms were not working, no apologies from staff when I alerted them of the issue and all around weird vibe inside. I wouldn't come back especially for the price of the burger. But what got me the most was the fact that they have processed shitty cheese and then you can pay extra for the real cheese. What bullshit is that?

Why did get rid of the superburger French fries! This is a game changer and I’ll be going next door from now on. Yes their prices are more but now their food level supersedes yours.

Honestly, the food is delicious. But don’t let Martha take your order. I wanted to get a coffee with my order - Martha rushed me through the process, essentially shoved the payment terminal my way, and did not let me complete my order. Also, she obviously wasn’t listening. I asked for my order to go and they served me a tray. Do better Martha.

Not so super. Burger was not good. Service from the bored, inattentive, rude, mistake prone yet attitude-filled cashier was awful. This place used to be a legend. Now? It’s just a glass house with bad food and even worse staff. Don’t bother.

If you like eating roadkill, this is the perfect spot for you. I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews of the food. The burger patty was atrocious; hard, chewy, no juice or flavour, did not resemble any beef patty I’ve eaten before. I wouldn’t be surprised if my hockey-puck of a burger was made from a dead raccoon. Look at the photo. Positives are the employees were pleasant and the overall vibe of the restaurant is nice. Just don’t get the super-bad-burger.

The fries are better than the burger. My cheese burger was extra dry (overcooked) with plastic cheese. I asked for real cheddar and still got the processed one. Anyway my partner got the double burger and he’s was also like two hockey pucks. I think they forgot to watch our meat on the grill as it’s overly busy. Also instead of screaming names out maybe invest in a microphone.

We ordered the fried onions, poutine, chicken tenders, veggie burger, steak burger and banquet burger. The fries were nice, but two of my friends got food poisoning after eating the steak burger and banquet burger. Really disappointed. I hope they could clean up their grill properly in the future.

They also seemed overcooked — tight, dry, and pressed to the point where any natural juices were gone. The uniform, compressed texture made me wonder if the patties were pre-formed, previously frozen, or even stretched with fillers like breadcrumbs or flour. It didn’t have that fresh, loosely packed ground beef feel. It also took over ten minutes to get my order, with only one party ahead of me. For that kind of wait, I expected much better. For a place with “burger” in the name, the beef should be the highlight. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.
