We get the following order everytime: 1x Sicilian Pizza (16×,16) + Specialty Topping 1/2 6 ($6.00) + Sausage ($3.00) + Pepperoni ($3.00) + Black Olives ($3.00) We have nicknamed this pizza "The Thing Of Beauty", because it is just that! AWESOME! The only way they could possibly make it better is to get chunk sausage instead of sliced, but either way it is a fantastic pizza! HIGHLY recommend it!

If you live in the Gainesville/ Haymarket area, it is really hard to beat some made from scratch authentic Italian food! I have been coming here for years and it is the same food without change each time. So good! The brothers are extraordinary crafting their dishes. This place is a staple for our family and we find value in supporting our locals in the community!🙂

This place is great. Great service, super nice people and very good pizza. Tonight I got a 18-inch Meataterian Pizza: which is a Cheese pizza topped with homemade meatballs, Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham. I asked for extra sauce and it was made to perfection. A delicious work of art. High quality toppings and baked exactly the way I like it, a bit chewy. Any low ratings have me wondering why? If you ask for something they are very customer friendly and will do their best to make it as requested. Will definitely be back.

I stopped in here for a late lunch after an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. This pizzeria offers a large variety of pizzas and their building is so clean. I wasn't expecting much because the prices were very affordable, dare I say, cheap. I quickly noticed upon my 1st bite that the ingredients used were high quality! The sauce was fantastic and they use fresh ingredients for their toppings. They offer a large variety of thin and thick crust pizzas, subs, and calzones as well as offer a wide variety of drinks. This reminds me of a pizzeria that I used to take my children and their ball team to for the end of the season pizza party. I've learned over the years that it's hard to find restaurants that serves such quality at a very affordable price. This place is definitely a fantastic find and is a well hidden gem of haymarket.

Another great experience at Valentino's. Yesterday we had the Sicilian Meatetarian pizza. Wonderfully fresh ingredients and the atmosphere was perfect to catch up with friends or family. This is my 'go to place" for subs and calzones and to meet friends in the area. Check out their lunch specials as they are priced similarly but with much better ingredients than the fast food restaurants in the area. I enjoy their steak and cheese for the lunch special and sometimes I will call ahead and pick up lasagna dinners on my way home. Never disappointed in the food--always hot & fresh. They offer a discount for cash and have always welcomed me with a smile. My only disappointment is that they aren't closer to my work.

I lived in New York for over 50 years, and we had some of the best Italian restaurants in the country. Back home, the heroes alone would blow away the so-called “subs” served at most Italian places here in Northern Virginia. Last night, though, I had the meat calzone and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had since leaving New York! If you truly appreciate authentic New York Italian food, this place will remind you what real flavor is all about. It’s what separates genuine Italian cooking from the Virginia imitations. All my kids absolutely love this pizza (and they cant agree on anything) so its a weekend staple at our house. It's got a good crust that holds up without being too chewy/thick, excellent fresh sauce, and they are always very generous with the toppings. The Eggplant Rollatini is a good App, the Chicken Roll is a menu deep cut that will hit the spot, and the pasta here will surprise you with how good it is. Mangia!

Really delicious food. The staff member was funny, kind and engaging. Pizza is unbelievably good. The crust is amazing and the subs are served on amazing and fresh bread. We didn’t try the garlic knots but a patron came in and ordered some and said they were the best around…so next time, for sure.

Since moving to VA from Long Island, NY it has been difficult finding a great pizza similar to the ones back home. That all changed when we moved to Haymarket and started going to Valentino’s! The deep dish Sicilian is the softest and true to NY taste. Our family who come to visit and are also from NY always comment on how they love this pizza as well. We love the staff and owners, they always make a point to get to know their customers which gives the restaurant a family feel.

Valentino’s is my favorite Italian restaurant in Haymarket. Their pizza is fresh and delicious and the Stromboli‘s and calzones out of this world. If you’ve never tried a slice of grandma Pizza, you don’t know what you’re missing. The other night I decided to venture out and try the eggplant Parm with a side of fettuccine Alfredo… To die for! Can’t say enough about this restaurant and the guys that work there are so friendly and really care about the customers and the food that they serve. Keep doing what you’re doing guys and I’ll keep coming back.

We are pizza connoisseurs and tough on judging a great slice. When I say this was a heck of a good pizza, I mean it. I’ve been to NY and have tried many famous spots like Lombari’s but this was much better. The best NY slice I’ve had to date. Keep up the great work!

Great pizza and Italian food. Kids loved the food, and so did we as adults. Had the meat calzone and the garlic knots and they were delicious. Will be coming back soon.

This place is really a gem in the middle of want to be places. Family owned, the atmosphere is as what you would expect - personal and welcoming. It's so family oriented that the guys that run it had to shut down the restaurant for a day for a death in the family (years ago now) - please keep supporting our locally owned restaurants. The food is really, really good, authentic and you could not find a better place than this, and if you add in the price - it's a flat-out steal.

Valentino's is a typical NY pizza joint. I tried a slice of cheese. It was good. The crust was thin with a good mix of chewy and crunchy. You have to try the pepperoni pinwheels. They were amazing! These are soft, cheesy, gooey goodness! We liked them so much we went back the next day for more. The marinara and ranch were solid too. They have a good variety of pizza, salads and rolls. Definitely will go back. My only complaint was they used a microwave to help warm up the food prior to putting it into the pizza oven.

Took the family to Valentino’s, expecting to get some pasta and pizza, and was pleasantly surprised to find an assortment of ready to go food that when reheated was delicious and the family enjoyed it all. 15 years ago if you talked about the service at a restaurant, the norm was a pleasant person., checking you out, taking payment and bringing you food. Today you’re lucky if you find that. Well I found it at Valentino's, the young lady at the register was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and service was good Highly recommend this placed anyone with a family or simply just wanting to get a quick bite to eat

We tried a bit of everything, chicken wings, spaghetti, lasagna, and cheese pizza. The best thing was the pizza. The crust had nice flavor the sauce was balanced well and the cheese was stringy. It wasn't outstanding pizza but it was good enough for a Friday night. The chicken wings were a bit under cooked. The skin was tough and the insides tougher. The lasagna was disappointing. The only thing good about it was the noodles. The meat was not flavorful. The whole dish needed more seasoning. The texture of the components were not pleasing. I believe it was the type of cheese used. The spaghetti was spaghetti. The noodles were good and the sauce could have come from anywhere. Nothing to write home about but could be a satisfying meal. We ate in the restaurant and the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was friendly. Certainly handicap accessible.

We were traveling through the area and were starving for a decent meal. The restaurant looked clean and inviting from the outside but once we walked in and saw a huge selection of pizzas sitting on the counter we were skeptical. The menus are pamphlets located next to the register and are not displayed anywhere else that we saw in the restaurant. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, a meat filled calzone and an order of fries. The fries came out first in a basket with a few ketchup packets tossed on top of the fries….no plates were brought out at this point. The fries were mediocre at best in our opinion. Tasted like they were air fried…maybe?? Just not very good texture or flavor. The calzone and pizza came out a few minutes later with a single thin paper plate and plastic cutlery. (I could not use the plastic cutlery to cut through the calzone and had to use my hands to eat it) The calzone was odd….. it tasted like unidentifiable meats and was over flowing with cool ricotta cheese. It seemed to have been unevenly heated in the microwave and put in the oven to finish it off. The pizza was extremely greasy as seen in the pictures and had a strong taste of salt. Overall a very disappointing meal. I read all the reviews after getting home and hope we just had a bad night. If this restaurant were closer to us, I’m sure we would give it a second chance before deserting it. Hopefully they change things and get it together.

Ordered a bianca pizza and they gave me generic red sauce cheese pizza. Should have checked before I left the restaurant and drove 15 minutes home. So I paid an up charge for a basic cheese pizza. Was not busy, so that’s not an excuse for the poor service.
