Lovely Indian buffet! Great selection of vegetarian and meat based dishes. Great place for lunch.
The food was excellent! They had tons of options from different regions of India and the service was very friendly and helpful
Shadi muttonByriani, chicken Hakka noodles, garlic naan bread! All delicious choices! Roberto Mondavi wine!
The food was delicious and abundant. The flavors were perfect. Service was attentive. Amazing overall, will definitely return.
Great food. Very close to authentic. full of flavour. Must try. Start with buffet on Sunday. Don’t forget to try chai tea it’s delish.
The gentleman at the front door was so welcoming and amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were so attentive and friendly definitely will be back for that mango lassi!!!!😝🥰🥰🥰
The lunch buffet at the 5th Element is delicious! They have both vegetarian & non-vegetarian. I highly recommended it! ☺️👍🏼
Great place for classic Indian food in a buffet style! All you can eat, from aloo gobi, chicken 65, biryani and more! They also have a full service alcohol bar and imported beer. Gulab jamun is a classic and delicious dessert everyone should try. The staff is super friendly and attentive, while the price is reasonable. Highly recommended! Will be back again and again!
One of the few lunchtime Indian buffets left in Broward. Nice variety and solid preparation at a reasonable price. Don't miss the soft serve mango ice cream. One critique would be more meat in the goat dish, but I love it just for the sauce.
This place is a true gem! I first discovered it thanks to my Indian colleagues who would drive all the way from Miami just to eat here. Years later, I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal. Whether it’s dinner, catering, or the weekend buffet, the food is always outstanding. The service is just as impressive—thank you to Emmanuel for always taking such great care of us. What’s not to love? ❤️🍴 Highly recommend!!
I recently visited Element 5 in Florida and ordered their Chilli Prawns and Mutton Curry with Bullet Naan — absolutely delicious! The chilli prawns were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice and a great balance of flavors. The sauce had a nice kick, complemented by fresh onions, bell peppers, and spring onions that added crunch and color. The mutton curry was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of meat that melted in the mouth. Paired with the soft and buttery bullet naan, it made for a hearty, satisfying meal.
An Unforgettable Indian Buffet Experience! A few years ago, I was told about this incredible spot, and I can honestly say it’s the **best Indian buffet in the area**! As a true foodie, this place has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list—it’s an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine as much as I do. Their buffet, priced at **$18.95 per person**, offers a huge variety of dishes, each one crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The authenticity shines through in every bite, and the ambiance adds an extra layer to the experience. While it’s pretty average and not particularly flashy, I’ve always felt that amazing food is the true star here. That being said, I’ve recently noticed some upgrades and improvements to the space, which are a welcome touch and show they’re constantly striving to enhance the customer experience. Over the years, I’ve taken all my friends and family here, and they’ve all been just as impressed as I am. This spot has truly earned a loyal customer for life! One of the highlights of every visit is being greeted by the kind African gentleman who treats me like family. His warmth and friendliness set the tone for every meal. The same beautiful waitress has been there for years, too, and her attentive service reflects the fantastic staff and positive work environment. Everyone here is super kind and their customer service is unmatched. From the authentic flavors to the exceptional service, this Indian buffet never disappoints. If you love Indian food, **you must check this place out**! You won’t regret it—it’s a gem that I’ll continue to recommend to everyone I know.
food was AMAZING. i had ordered the Butter chicken with garlic nann and to drink i had the Mango lassi and everything was sooo good. my dad had ordered the corn soup but he said it was a little to peppery for his liking but it was still super amazing!
THIS BUFFET NEVER DISSAPOINTS! I've been to several other Indian buffets in South Florida and this one is the best. I've also brought several friends here and they were all very happy and wanted to come back. My most recent visit was on a Monday at noon. Daytime is the most limited of the menus vs weekends but still great. Meal and soda was just shy of $20. Everything is good but my #1 FAVORITE IS THE GOAT CURRY! The tofu has plenty of flavor and the red chicken that was cut into small pieces was my favorite of the 3 chicken dishes. They have soft serve mango ice cream. They also have Diet Coke from the fountain which is also a plus because I really don't like Pepsi. The food is not very spicy, I'm sure that's so it can work for the general public. Next time I'll ask for some spice to add. 😃
And stop in for buffet after an early morning, strength and yoga course. I usually don’t go for buffet, but they were just opening and everything was super fresh! The flavors were incredible! They were very nice as well. I will definitely be back for more.
OMG! Amazingly delicious as always. Tikka Masala and the chicken jalfrezi..yuuuummmy. Gobi manchurian..let's just day I've been faithful since I moved to Orlando and not eaten Hindu. The attention to detail it's outstanding. It's been a year snd a half and the manager remember every order I used to place. I'm speechless. Highly recommend it 🥰🥰
Really loved food, it is best halal Indian place for lunch buffet near Miami area.Must visit!
This is our fifth time ordering take out from here. The food is consistently fresh, ready on time and delicious. They have a pretty extensive menu with a lot of variety to choose from, including vegetarian options. Decent food, nice portions and a very courteous staff that cater to all ur needs. they always check on how the food is, they have an excellent record of maintaining authentic taste.
Good was hot, restaurant was clean, and service was good. Can’t complain. If you’re looking for a good Indian food spot.
The food at this restaurant was awesome. We went for lunch when they had their full lunch buffet. All the food was great and the buffet gave us an opportunity to try some new dishes that we had never tried before. I highly recommend fifth Element. We will be back!
Amazing variety, fresh flavors, and great quality throughout. The staff are friendly and keep everything stocked and clean. Fantastic value and an easy spot to enjoy a satisfying meal.
Moved from Dallas where they have a huge Indian population and the food is amazing .. since i moved here i havent found anything remotely close to what im use to until now. 100% will be back this food is the BEST Indian food I have had in florida since moving here 2 years ago !! Chefs kiss !!! You wont be disappointed!
We entrusted 5th Element with the catering for both our Sangeeth and wedding celebrations, and they truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, their team delivered an outstanding experience, not only in the variety and flavor of the dishes, but also in the impeccable service. We had a large turnout of local guests, and everyone was thoroughly impressed with the spread. Some standout items included the tangy and bold Dappalam, rich and velvety Moongdal Halwa, aromatic Mango Pulihora, comforting Pappu, and the irresistibly flavorful Gongura Chicken. Each dish was masterfully prepared and beautifully presented. The entire culinary experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I can't recommend 5th Element highly enough. If you're looking for a catering team that blends authenticity with excellence, they’re the ones to call.
Usually get take out from here and the food has always been great. Now decided to get the buffet which was tasty as well! They even have an ice cream machine for dessert which is a nice touch!
Thank you, the 5th element for taking care of my friend wedding events this past weekend. All the team went above and beyond to ensure it was a grand success. You all did great job coming on time . The food was very delicious with a lot of traditional items and very authentic. All the guests loved the food and was very happy. I would highly recommend 5th element for wedding and catering events. Looking forward to celebrate many more events. Thank you, Suman, Sridhar, Murthy and team. We appreciate you all coming to the event and ensuring everything was a grand success.
Their lunch buffet is the best in the area. We're consistently spoiled with the quality, variety and value where nothing else comes close. Highly recommended!
Food was wonderful!! Price was fantastic at $16.99 pre-tax and tip!! Very clean, nice and homey. Pleasant staff!! Will be coming more often!!
The selection of food in the buffet is really good. The guy who welcomes you at the entrance is very nice. The buffet is 100% worth it. I will definitely go back.
We absolutely love this place. Everything is delicious. If you dont know what you like, you can try from the buffet. Everything I've had was out of this world delicious, fresh and full of flavor.
The food, service and ambiance is all great. We ordered Masala Dosa, Mysore Dosa, vada, mango Lassi and chicken tikka biryani, everything was delicious. This was the third time for me, they never disappoint
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing buffet at Fifth Element Grill! Great mix of veg and non-veg dishes with perfect spice levels. The staff are super attentive, and the ambience is warm and elegant. Highly recommend!
Love all the vegetarian options but the meat options were also so delicious especially the chicken Tikka. My favorite was the curry vegetables. For dessert I had the rice kheer which is one of my favorite desserts. We went for their lunch buffet and I would def recommend it because you can try many of their dishes for one price. Dont forget the mango ice cream and chai that comes with the buffet
This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is so cultural and the food is amazing under 20$ lunch buffet is worth every penny.
The lunch buffet here is fantastic! I’ve never been to a restaurant with such a wide variety of dishes in one place. The spread is so diverse and plentiful that you’ll want to sample a bit of everything. Definitely a great spot for anyone who loves both variety and quality in a meal.
This is hands down the best indian food ive tasted so far in sofla area. So many varieties, vegetarian and non vegetarian. The spice is just right. They even have street food panipuri and samosa chaat on sundays! My only gripe is i wish they had some rasgullas for desserts. And the price is also high. I paid about 22 dollars for lunch buffet on sunday . But if you want true indian food, then this is the place for you .
One thing I missed hard since Covid started was my every other day Indian lunch buffet . And was happy that have lunch buffet and drove here 40 minutes from miami . It was worth with it . Had butter chicken and first time ever tried their dessert “mango custard “ which I loved it . Definitely will be going there regularly
We had a wonderful meal. We ordered the combo for 2 or 3, spicy lamb, chicken, and rice. However, it was enough food for a solid four people--men! I've eat the lunch buffet as well. Great place to dine and the price is excellent for the amount of food and taste. We highly recommend.
The curries always have an in-depth flavor, especially the paneers. The staff is nice and helpful. Overall, a great experience every time and we’ve been many many times.
I train teams on customer service. So I was incredibly impressed today when I walked in through these doors. This location has by far the best service, surpassing high end restaurants. The staff was extremely attentive to details and to my table. The respect and way they worked together to make sure each table was covered was immaculate. I brought a friend with me and he loved the food as I did too. But by far, this place deserves greater recognition.
Love 5th element ! We come once a month and the food and service is always amazing. Our go to orders are the chili chicken biryani , lamb chops, vindaloo and the Dosa. The Chinese style food is also great too.
I have been to this restaurant multiple times & I have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, well presented and offers variety even in the Veggy section. I have never been to the dessert section but my friends attest that the Mango 🍦 tastes good. Price is reasonable and the setting is spacious and the ambiance facilitates conversation over the table.
Delicious food and attentive service! If you enjoy good Indian food you should check it out!
Stopped in to try because bae and I were craving Indian food. Cute little place with yummy flavors that hit the spot. They even have a little chai and mango ice cream station which we loved!
Perfect Indian spot in South Florida. It’s been hard to find a spot but this place has great food for lunch and dinner with great specials. The workers are very friendly and hospitable. They have a lunch buffet every day for lunch that we are looking forward to.
I've been to 5th Element Indian Grill, but in Daytona Beach, FL. This one in Pompano is also quite fantastic. We went on a Saturday afternoon time for the lunch buffet - $20.99 plus tax per person. Had goat masala, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, shrimp masala, and more. Also had mango for dessert. The food is quite tasty, which is fantastic.
This restaurant was amazing! Absolutely delicious, authentic Indian food. We got the buffet and got to try everything.. some of the best I have had.
I’ve been coming to 5th element for a while now, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time I visit. You can really taste the authentic Indian spices, and the portions are generous too. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is usually quick even when it’s busy. I’ve always been taken care off by Emmanuel and he is a very kind and attentive! Worth travelling 40 mins to come eat here always! It’s rare to find a place that’s consistent in both food and service, but this one really delivers. Definitely one of my favorite Indian restaurants — highly recommend!
I came here a few months ago and the food quality was pretty decent. However, I recently came back for the lunch buffet and somehow it's even better. Unlike other Indian buffets I've been to where they only put out a handful of "cheaper" simple dishes, this place had a wide variety, including some premium dishes. They even had an "omelette bar" style dosa station where they were turning out fresh dosa on the apot. This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to on the East Coast.
This place is fantastic for a good delicious and fulfilling experience. The buffet was full of delicious Indian (north and south) food with a range of options that will leave your belly full for sure. Make sure to get there early and enjoy the food with friends and family. You will love the experience. Also, the dinner is a little pricey but the food quality is very good. Only suggestion I can give to the manager/owner is to make a choice of nan (1/2) or rice available with the curries. That will make it perfect dining place, lunch and dinner.
I love 5th Element! It is a wonderful mixture of Northern and Southern Indian food. The authentic spices, savory meats, and delicious desserts will keep you coming back again and again! I learned about the delicious buffet by driving by!! The buffet is so cheap and filling that you can bring your office friends for lunch and not break the bank. The desserts: rice kheer and mango ice cream are favorites of the children in my family. But I love the veggie pakora, dals, and veggie options. My boyfriend loves the butter chicken (but it is not always available). I have NEVER been disappointed and I’ve been coming here for several years!! Stop by and try it! They play great Indian music videos if you love Bollywood
In a word FANTASTIC! I have had Indian food a couple times in my life and have never been impressed. Been driving by 5th Element Indian Grill for a few years now. Well, about two months ago a neighbor, who constantly raves about this place, asked the wife and I to meet him here. Reluctantly, I agreed. What a wonderful surprise it was. Since that time we have been here at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. It appears I have never had authentic Indian food prepared with love. I still have a difficult time understanding the waiters and can’t begin to tell you all how difficult it is for me to understand the names of the dishes, thankfully there are descriptions of each dish. But, every single thing I have had at 5th Element Indian Grill is better than the last. If you like spicy food and bold flavors you will love this restaurant. Best to order dishes medium and not spicy unless you are very tolerant of 🔥🔥🔥
The food was amazing, very flavorful. The employees were kind and attentive and they had lovely Indian music videos playing on the tvs. I will continue coming here.
Very delicious meal and great atmosphere. We had aloo tikki chaat and chicken 65 for appetizers. The aloo tikki chat was bursting with tangy, sweet, and salty flavors. The chicken 65 was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The spices were spot on. I felt like I was back in India! My family shared the mysore masala dosa and the chicken Hakka noodles, which confirmed this restaurant can make delicious South Indian and indo-Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic indian cuisine!
First you eat with your eyes… just look at the pictures of the Tandoori Shrimp and Chicken, see how deeply the marinade soaks all of those delicious flavors into every bite. We had a naan basket that arrived properly hot & fresh, followed by mixed vegetable pakora, this was the first time we have had this battered and fried vegetable dish, the pieces are french fry sized served ina heaping pile with an outstanding tamarind dipping sauce along with a very tasty mint dipping sauce. For our main plates we shared chicken biryani, and the Tandoori platter filled with chicken, shrimp, and other meats. The flavors here are big richly textured and multi layered. The service was casual prompt and friendly. Its a large place, full bar, reasonably priced. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at i especially enjoyed how the menu is separated by the State/Regions of India and a description of the specifics to each style. Order extra, take home some fresh overs. Yes is that good.
One of the best Indian buffets I had in the state of Florida. They offer multiple items in the buffet. I have never seen any place offer kulchha parotha, puri, warm gulab jamun, chicken 65, mango ice cream, and many more things. This place got it all. They have plenty of seatings. I would go back again. Price is reasonable compared to any other Indian restaurants in the area. Paid $21/ person.
This place has delicious food 5 stars. Clean 5 stars. Great customer service 5 stars. Anybody complaining and giving bad reviews might be competition, because they have a few other restaurants around. This Indian Restaurant deserves all 5 🌟. There is spicy and non spicy food. I will go again with my family. Emmanuel and the owner gave me a great customer experience.
Good Indian food. Buffet is a definite try. Amazing food and service for good price. Just the pink color hand soap wash is a big turn off. Just blind yourself to that and it would be a wonderful food experience. Worth the money. Do try!
Malai kofta was AMAZING!! Fish tikka masala so so flavorful, chicken Tikka SPOT ON! We got our spicy and it was perfect. Service was amazing. Would recommend and will definitely be back 🤌
If you are looking for Indian food near Pompano Beach then you must visit this joint. There is no sign board but it is a corner building opposite Dunkin Donuts and behind iHop on Gateway Drive. GPS will bring you at the exact location. We arrived near closure time so it was not very crowded. Prashant, our server, was very helpful in deciding what is famous and ordered most. So we started with South Indian - Idly sambhar and Masala Dosa followed by Daal Makhani and Aloo Gobhi with Garlic Naan in main course. In dessert we ordered Kulfi but due to some electrical failure with refrigerator they couldn't store it and we were served complimentary Mango Ice Cream.
I had the most amazing experience tonight at this restaurant. The staff was welcoming polite and attentive. I ordered the curry leaf chicken appetizer I was speechless how good all the flavors were. I then ordered the curry goat absolutely spectacular and my friend my delicious spicy sexy neighbor had the curry shrimp she was in love. Great place everything is 5*
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Catering & Exceptional Service We had the absolute pleasure of working with 5th Element Restaurant for my son’s engagement celebration, where they catered delicious food for nearly 300 guests. From start to finish, the experience was truly outstanding. The food was exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and consistently praised by our guests. Every dish reflected quality, care, and authentic taste. The presentation was elegant and well-organized, adding a special touch to such an important occasion. A special note of appreciation to Mr. Sai Prasanth, the manager, who managed the entire event with remarkable professionalism. His attention to detail, calm coordination, courteous attitude, and commitment to excellence made everything run seamlessly. The service staff were equally impressive—polite, attentive, and efficient throughout the event. We are extremely grateful to the entire 5th Element team for exceeding our expectations and helping make this celebration memorable. I would highly recommend 5th Element Restaurant for any large gathering or special event without hesitation. — John Joseph
Excelente atención y auténtica comida Hindu. Nos encanta este lugar por lo que siempre volvemos
Excelente
La comida deliciosa y la atención también!
I recently tried the buffet here, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The buffet had a good number of varieties catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, which made it suitable for everyone at the table. While the tandoori chicken felt a bit stiff and could have been better, the rest of the food was quite tasteful. The chicken manchuria stood out with its bold flavors, and the desserts were truly enjoyable—especially the carrot halwa and rice pudding (kheer), both of which tasted fresh and comforting. The service deserves special mention: the server was extremely kind and attentive, bringing fresh naans specifically for the kids and not even charging for them. That thoughtful gesture really elevated the overall experience.
Enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice, Onion Kulcha Nan, and Papadam with a. Ice glass of house Pinot Grigio. Emmanuel and all the staff were very helpful.
Excellent indian restaurant, with a nice bar and big updated seating space. Our waiter was very helpful when we were trying to decide from the huge selection menu. Some dishes are good enough to share, like the mixed grill. The sauces were delicious, just enough spice for me, but you should ask the waiters if you are not a fan of spicy food. I will certainly be back to try other dishes. And most of their food is Gluten Free!!
Place was small and very cozy. Ordered a bullet chicken and even on medium spice, I had tears rolling down my cheeks, but the taste was amazing. Biryani was just a cherry on top, and the service was really nice. with reasonable prices and quick service, I would definitely come back.
The food was very good. We went to the weekday buffet - 2 of us ate for $34 plus tip. I am sensitive to spicy food but ate the cauliflower stew which was very spicy and the yummy goat which was spicy and loved them both. The Naan was very good and my friend ate the Tandoori chicken, Himalayan vegetables, Buffalo chicken and butter chicken. She said all were good. They end the buffet with complimentary mango ice cream and chai. A lovely way to end a tasty meal. Parking was easy and servers were attentive and cleared away plates quickly.
Whenever I'm in the mood for Indian food, I visit 5th Element. I drove across town to eat there last night. Out of all the Indian Restaurants that serve food, they by far have it down packed. Flavors are on point, decadent and they modify to your spices level. With that being said. The amount of money you spend here does not equate to the portion sizes. This needs to worked on. Customers want to feel like they got a bang for their buck. Not that they been robbed. Overall amazing food but please do work on the process. And this is not due to the prices increases all over. They've always been super expensive with small portions.
2.5☆ Was in the area and found this place for dinner. From the reviews it seemed promising. But was not impressed by what 5E had to offer. Upon arrival, it took a bit to be acknowledged and seated(it was not busy). Was seated at a table with dirty floor(greasy/slimey). Bathroom had no running water but had a bucket of water for hand washing. Asked the server some questions about the food and he seems like he couldn't be bothered. I order papadum and the server said they don't give them out for free anymore... ??? I wasn't expecting it for free as its on the menu. (Maybe they use to give it out, gratis) Papadum came out more like pita chip than thin crisp. I'd settled on Briyani CK which had good delicious flavor but was too salty. I don't know, maybe different regions of India food is cooked/seasoned/served differently but I think I'll stick with the patience/attentiveness/clean/consistency of Z's in N.Miami or BD's in Ft. Lauderdale. Sorry 5E.
I came here with my family for the lunch buffet and it was delicious! The place is big and their host seat us right away. This is one of the few Indian restaurants that has a bar with a good wine menu. The service was ok, maybe because we came during the lunch buffet and the waiters were very busy,we didn’t get that much attention and I had to search for our waiter just to get drink refills and Our overall experience was good and the food was delicious. The three stars only is because I am not happy with the service at the table and when I used the toilet, as soon as I sat down I felt like I was going to fall back because the toilet was loose from its base, that was an scary moment. They really need to fix that toilet before someone else falls off of it. Please click on the like button if you found this review helpful, thank you!
Food was not consistent. We had some chicken vindaloo and palak paneer, and they were very good. My wife loved it so much she wanted to go back and have it at the restaurant. We ordered chicken vindaloo, lamb vindaloo, veg thali, veg pakora and masala dosa. We were very disappointed with vindaloo . It taste a little bitter, and pakora has more fried bason than vegetables. Also the service wasn't good. The server came to the table at the last minute, when there was only 2 other patrons was at a different table. Probably Won't go back there.
La comida está buena, pero comparado con otros restaurantes indios no vale la pena ir por lo siguiente: las cantidades son menores y de precio es caro. También me sorprendió que no pusieran en la mesa nada más llegar la típica torta papadum con salsas.
Awesome food… great taste and relaxing ambience. Buffet is really tasty. Specially the desserts are mind blowing.. I am editing this review as they have started reusing the oil which is just spoiling the taste of all the dishes. Even when you order you get that multiple times reused oil taste. I request you please use fresh oil or you will loose customers.
We went for the lunch buffet on 3/2/26. The selection of food is really limited. The taste was not special. Most things were heavily salted. Frankly, I can cook better Indian food myself without a recipe. As you go into the men's restroom, there is a light switch with a broken face plate. Looks like a kid could stick his finger right in the crack and touch the hot wire. Stuff like that makes you wonder how careful they are about cooking the food. You can do better than 5th for Indian food.
Buena atención pero los sabores poco balanceados y los alimentos no muy frescos.
We used to order quite regularly from this place and the food used to be decent , but last night we placed an order for chicken 65 biryani medium tray. The rice clearly looked like it was from the previous day and the biryani smelled bad. When we reached out to the owner to inform that Biryani smelled bad, he suggested to just heat it and eat. PLEASE AVOID places like these.
Reviews seem fake. There is no customer service. People working there do not want to serve. I asked the lady where is our food. And she said coming. Then When I asked again she totally ignored us. We have been waiting for the food for 30 minutes.
I ordered take out and the bhindi masala was so horrible, the okra was hard and all bad okra was in it not edible, who adds the top of the okra. And it cost $15. The paratha was undercooked, Saag paneer had no flavor. Over all very bad food at this restaurant
Avoid! This restaurant was on the South Florida list of “Dirty Dining” restaurants last week which were ordered to shut down after an inspection revealed numerous violations. 5th Element was found with 21 violations and it was featured on the WPLG Local 10 News channel (video available on YT). No wonder my last experience here was awful. We went for the buffet, and the food was cold, every dish was loaded with bright red food coloring, and everything was tasteless. There was even water pooled on the floor near the soft-serve ice cream machine. On top of that, they’re overpriced. Not going again to this filthy place.
Edited on 11/19/2024: Extremely disappointed. Not sure what exactly happened on back end but the quality of food was dropped drastically. Ordered biryani and cut mirchi from the restaurant today thru uber eats and both of them were disasters. Absolutely tasteless & flavorless. Both of them were very bland. If I wish to eat an over cooked soggy and wet basmati rice with food coloring, I would have made it myself! Not ordered from this restaurant and paid $14.99. Original Review from few years ago: Very nice, authentic South Indian dishes. One of the best Indian restaurants around the Fort Lauderdale -Miami areas. Gobi Manchuria and Taste of Biryani are really awesome. Very good service and variety of Lunch Buffet items are really impressive. The house made Mango swirl cone ice cream at the end of the Lunch Buffet just completes that "vaarevah moment"
The Mutton Biryani they served is not fresh. For the first few spoons i had the rice and didn’t find any weird smell. But then when i had the pieces with masala, i felt some sort of mild foul smell. It’s not fresh.
Lately the quality of food has drastically deteriorated. I went to 5th element, pompano beach for a lunch buffet on a Sunday. As soon as I started with my lunch I noticed a small curly human hair stuck to one of the goat pieces in the goat curry which was extremely unhygienic and unhealthy. Couldn't eat a single bite after that. I pointed it out to the server and she changed my plate and I wasn't charged. There was no taste in the other food items too, everything else tasted stale too. All in all, it was an unpleasent experience.
