Grande, grazie ritorneremo. Giuseppe Maria Mancini
The waiters were incredibly friendly and professional, and the service was served on time. I think the pizzoccheri were the best I've ever eaten, and the sliced beef with baked potatoes was sublime. The menu was rich in traditional dishes and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was intimate and very relaxed, suitable for both large tables and a romantic dinner for two. Some light background music would have been nice, but that didn't detract from the fantastic experience we had.
I happened to return after a long time, and I have to say, Marino never disappoints! It's worth a try for its unique, historic, warm, and friendly atmosphere. I had the best tagliolini with truffle I've ever tasted! Definitely worth a try.
A truly evocative place, at times mysterious and fascinating. Excellent and extremely excellent food... I was with my family and we ate for 10. I've never eaten so well in my life! Impeccable service. Highly recommended. ❤️
This one of the places for authentic pizzoccheri. They serve you an all-you-can-eat portion that is three times larger than most other places. And it is really excellent!
A little gem with an old-world atmosphere, a panoramic terrace, and every room inside more beautiful than the next. Every dish on the menu is a real treat. Compliments to the owner, who is incredibly charismatic and personable, and to the delightful restaurant manager, who makes every dish even more special. Excellent value for money.
The selection and quality of the dishes are top-notch in a distinctive and unique setting. Excellent and attentive service further enhances this restaurant, which I highly recommend. Prices are also below average for a similarly caliber offering. Compliments to Mr. Fratò and his entire staff.
Truly charming location: the carpeted staircase leading to the restaurant is beautiful. Upon entering, a room with a bar opens up, followed by another very large room with beautiful parquet floors and truly charming vintage furnishings. We booked for two people and a dog (36 kg): the staff were attentive and attentive to space management. Upon arrival, they were very courteous and immediately brought the dog a drink. We ordered taroz as an appetizer, which I found to be very good. For the first course, pizzoccheri were truly excellent, and the portion was quite generous. For the second course, pollo alla Cerere (roast chicken with potatoes), a simple yet truly tasty and original dish. To finish, a basket of filo pastry, cream, raspberries, and blueberries, worthy of everything else. The price was fair for the location and the quality of the dishes. Impeccable service, with friendly, welcoming service from the wait staff and the owner.
Beautiful restaurant! Came for the Pizzoccheri and wasn't disappointed. It was delicious, healthy amount of garlic and cheese and good portion size. The staff are very friendly and charming and the scenery is stunning outside and very elegant inside.
What a beautiful restaurant, I come here a few times a year with colleagues and friends to eat typical food from Valtellina, especially Sciatt and Pizzoccheri. Marino is a great person and so is every staff member here and they will make you feel at home. I love this place and will always come back when I have the chance. I also highly recommend the Zabaione as dessert.
We have been clients of Cerere for years and it’s always a pleasant surprise. The food is genuine and tasty, the place is a gem and the service always nice. We definitely recommend Cerere if you want to have a memorable meal.
A quaint restaurant with exceptional staff! We had lunch on the terrace with a beautiful view. They treated each guest with care and attention, from the welcome to the coffee. Pizzoccheri, just like grandma used to make, have an authentic flavor, and are truly worth it! Highly recommended, and if I were to find myself in the area again, I'd be sure to book a table again! Well done!
Love heading here on our way back from Livigno as it's a great stop off on the way back to Milan. It's a quirky place, but the food is always top notch. Having been 5 times previously we'd never had desert so this time we had 2. Having ordered the pistachio fondant I was scanning some of the reviews and the only one mentioning it and it said it was "tasteless". I have to tell you it was not tasteless, it was "epic". Absolutely everything you would want in a) a fondant (soft shell harbouring a gooey centre), and b) pistachio taste (rich and strong like a cream).
We had dinner at this restaurant a few nights ago. It's a historic establishment with a terrace offering a wonderful view. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and cheerful (we have two children, and they were well-attended to, too). The entire menu is worth trying. It features typical Valtellina dishes (like pizzoccheri... AMAZING!), but also a seafood menu with very balanced flavors. Definitely worth a try. The owner is a very friendly man, with whom we chatted about Valtellina's specialties (not just culinary ones). A must-try: the zabaglione prepared at your table with homemade ladyfingers...it ended the dinner on a high note! Congratulations to the entire staff!
Amazing food in beautiful old world setting. Just the kind of place you hope to find on a trip to Italy. Rustic, authentic, delicious, and in an off-the-beaten-track location.
Un ristorante con terrazzo con vista su montagne e giardino! Locali interni che ricordano un castello! Piatti buoni e abbondanti! Antipasti e pizzoccheri abbondanti da provare!!! Vino della zona di base!!! Anche il sorbetto non scherza!!! Ottimo
Delicious food, good service and Middle Ages location.
A truly distinctive restaurant, both in its decor and its architecture. The location is a historic 17th-century residence. Valtellina dishes and more, including seafood specialties, are offered. In addition to the à la carte menu, guests can choose from a seasonal fixed-price menu. The dishes were significantly below expectations, both in taste and execution (especially considering the final bill). The staff was friendly (although at times almost indolent), but service was slow, despite the small crowd.
