An Unforgettable Memory That Sadly Fades I still fondly remember the days of my youth spent at Marinella Restaurant. This place was a gastronomic refuge, an oasis of flavors and conviviality that gave me so many happy moments. Unfortunately, my last visit left a bitter taste in my mouth, forcing me to revisit that idyllic image I had cherished in my heart. The owner, whom I once remembered as a friendly and easygoing lady, last night proved surly and indifferent. I tried several times to remind her of our past encounters, but she didn't even bother to respond once. This change in attitude deeply disappointed me, as one of the things that made Marinella special was precisely its warm welcome. The appetizer, despite everything, maintained a certain standard of quality. Sumptuous and plentiful, it was accompanied by an excellent focaccia, fragrant and well-cooked. However, the bollito misto that followed was a disappointment. The portion was small and didn't live up to expectations. I expected something more generous and flavorful, in line with my memories. The dessert, a peach salad with ice cream, didn't particularly thrill me. It was a simple dessert that, while fresh, lacked the creativity and richness of flavors I'd always appreciated in Marinella's desserts. Overall, my experience last night didn't live up to the wonderful memories I had of Ristorante Marinella. Perhaps, and I hope, I just happened to be there on the wrong night. However, given the circumstances, I think it will be a few more years before I feel like returning. It's a shame to see a once-special place change so drastically, but I hope it can rediscover the spirit and quality that once made it unique.

Overall, a good experience A small restaurant with a homey setting and service, offering pizza and local cuisine. I'll leave you with the three pros and three cons I found most significant: ✅ The value for money is good; for €25, you can gorge yourself; ✅ Excellent first courses, decent pizzas. The malfatti with walnut sauce is truly delicious; ✅ Everything is homemade or locally sourced, from cured meats to desserts. ⛔ There's no menu. So, you can know what to eat, but you can't get an idea of ​​the prices. ⛔ The wine was brought to our table already uncorked, in an unlabeled bottle (??); ⛔ I wouldn't recommend the main courses or side dishes; the quality isn't the best. As I wrote previously, the value for money is good; it was a positive experience, although there's considerable room for improvement, especially in the dining room layout.

An Easter lunch to forget. We've often eaten at this restaurant and always had a great time, but today was a disaster. Minimal service, a menu that wasn't at all impressive, the only decent thing was the cold cuts appetizer, served sparingly, of course. The rest was forgettable.

Siamo venuti a mangiare, una tavolata di 11 persone , iniziano a uscire gli antipasti. Misure anticovid inesistenti, si mangia in una veranda con finestre chiuse nonostante le limitazioni. Mangiamo gli antipasti (salumi/giardiniera/pizza) di ottima qualità. Mangiamo i primi, mediocri e aspettiamo i secondi. Nel frattempo alcuni vanno fuori a fumare e la cameriera (straniera) esce dicendo che stanno arrivando i secondi. Torniamo dentro, mangiamo i secondi, altri si alzano. Versiamo dell'acqua frizzante nel calice del nostro amico per allungarglielo, la cameriera prende i due bicchieri e li rovescia nel lavandino dicendo "non si fanno queste cose ci si ubriaca" e ci da due bicchieri puliti "ecco qua 😡" al che la gioia del pranzo con gli amici si spegne. Altri escono e la cameriera "non uscite che non vengo più a cercarvi cosa siamo all'asilo?" Se permettete dopo più di un'ora a tavola la gente ha il SACROSANTO diritto di alzarsi e uscire a fumare/prendere aria. Arrivano i dolci, le mie fragole erano vecchie e flosce, probabilmente del giorno prima e ci chiedono se vogliamo bargnolino, limoncello o amaro. Quasi tutti prendono il bargnolino che non arriva con la bottiglia come agli altri tavoli, ma già nel bicchiere. E qua il fattaccio. Il bargnolino é allungato con acqua frizzante (allego foto, non esiste un bargnolino frizzante). Chiedo spiegazioni, mi viene detto che fa 40 gradi, al che chiedo di portarmi la bottiglia, bottiglia che non arriverà mai perché "appena si libera dall'altro tavolo arriva" (covid a parte). Dico di non prendermi in giro, che é allungato e lei insiste dicendo che fa 40 gradi. Verso qualche goccia sul bicchierino da caffè e non prende fuoco (i liquori sopra i 38 gradi prendono fuoco). Vogliamo ulteriore conferma, ordiniamo al bancone della cassa due bargnolini, questa volta in bicchiere diverso, di ottima qualità e soprattutto non frizzante. Vado in bagno, sento le cameriere parlare sottovoce dicendo: "dicevano che era allungato, si lamentavano ecc." Che lo abbia allungato la cameriera? Mi dispiace per i gestori e il resto del personale che sono brave persone. Più di due ore di pranzo per mangiare discretamente ed essere presi per il c..o da una ragazza frustrata che non sa fare il suo lavoro, spero sia licenziata. Vergogna.
