Adega is on the Vila Vita Parc resort and is 100% Portuguese. All of the food and wine is from the region. We were lucky enough to go on a night where they had Iberico pork special. It was absolutely phenomenal and what has pushed this restaurant to a five star for me. The service was also impeccable. All in all, a great experience!

This restaurant accommodated our large group and were incredibly attentive to a wide array of serious food allergies and restrictions, setting our minds at ease. They were professional and kind and were sweet with our group’s small children as well. Can’t say enough good things about the staff here- we feel very fortunate that they were taking care of our group and providing an excellent experience for all. The food and drinks were delicious and the best meal we’ve had in Portugal thus far. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised how good this place actually was, especially having our expectations tempered after having a miss at two of the resorts other restaurants the nights before. However, as i have mentioned in a separate review of Vila's Japanese place MIzu, Adega sticks to what they know and they do it very well. It's a casual, laid back environment with well executed food, a very nice wine list with great local selections, and a very knowledgable sommelier and support staff. Just overall a very pleasant dining experience without having to leave the resort. Portions were considerable and well seasoned. Seating outside was very comfortable and food came at measured pace. I would have eaten here another couple times had we known how good it was. Vila Vita is a great resort, and they would be well advised to add another local cuisine option for on-site rather than Mizu and Giordano's which just weren't what they were advertised to be. Adega is a no frills, comfort food place with excellent wine and service. Nice job Adega!

Wir waren als auswärtige dort essen und gehörten nicht zum Anwesen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und gut bewirtet. Alle 8 von 9 Kellner, Mitarbeiter, Manager usw die uns bedient und begrüßt haben (leider etwas zu viele für 3 belegte Tische an einem Dienstag) kümmerten sich sehr gut. Das Essen war fabelhaft, die Portionen der Qualität angemessen, die Weinempfehlung vernünftig und der Service beim vorlegen der Speisen toll. Bis zu dem Punkt, nachdem wir unsere Rechnung beglichen haben und zufrieden gehen wollten, eine 9., uns unbekannte Mitarbeiterin plötzlich aus dem Innenbereich lief und uns hinter rief ob wir gezahlt hätten. Das Restaurant etwas voller, wir unangenehm berührt und verabschiedet. Schade. Wie heißt es: viele Köche versalzen die Suppe. Gerade wenn 9 Mitarbeiter bei 3, , 4 Tischen vor Ort sind, bedarf es einer internen Kommunikation. Am Ende gehen wir zufrieden, dennoch wird dies in Erinnerung bleiben.

We really enjoyed Adega. The food was fresh and the service friendly. Very relaxed vibes in the middle of the resort. The one thing I wish was better was the cocktail menu. It was limited to two options.

Great food and location, service was perfect initially but as the restaurant got busier the staff was having a hard time since there are at least three waiters/waitresses serving each table, one to take orders, one to remove plates and another one for the wine.

Generous sized portions which were tasty but weren't very exciting. It was lovely sitting outside. There were good vegetarian options.

Good dinner restaurant option in VVP, tasty local food. Only thing that lets it down is the portion sizes for the prices charged. All dining options in VVP however have this problem and are poor value for money and this place is no different.

After having a wonderful lunch in Whale restaurant we hoped for even better dinner in Portuguese restaurant Adega. The service and drinks were great, but the food was terrible. Meat impossible to chew, tasteless side dishes, too salty tuna… another minus for not being able to order cocktails there - only beer and wine. In 5* hotel they should bring a cocktail from bar nearby if the client doesn’t like wine or beer

Went here with my family for my birthday. The service was very good but the food let it down, fishcake starter tasted like it was frozen and reheated, beef was chewy, expensive in comparison to other high end restaurants in the Algarve. I won’t be going back.
