Come on! You get to sit at the bar in a swing! What could possibly be awful about this place??? Bravo!

This place is a lot of fun! Drinks are priced well, and who doesn't want to swing at a bar near the beach!?!

Love this cool place that opens early and has swimming barstool. Ask about gc rentals if you get stuck without a reservation as theirs are first come first served.

My family and I love this place. The swings are fun and we love an outdoor bar! Bartenders are friendly and make really good drinks. We go at least twice when there. More if it is longer than 4 days lol

Cool little tiki bar right on 361 with rope swings all around the bar. Beers were not overpriced. Had a great day there. Going back Thursday for live music!

Love the swings at the bar and all around the place! Always feel welcomed and it's nice that kids are allowed in as well. The place even has a drive thru bar for vehicles and a separate one for golf carts. The Beer Hut rents out golf carts as well! One of our favorite places to grab a drink in Port A. Staff is always very helpful and kind. Great location as well and easy to get to on a cart. They stay open the majority of the year also and bring in tarps and heaters when it gets chilly.

Most fun bar in Port Aransas! Swing bar is so cool! Good music thats always on. Friendly fast service. Busch light beer that's hard to find. Golf cart rentals, drive through alcohol pick up. No food but can have it delivered. Easy to find, check it out!

Great place to go meet. Their seating around the bar is swinging chairs!, yes, it is very cool. The atmosphere was island time and the people were welcoming !! Totally suggest a visit!!

We enjoyed this little outdoor bar. Sit in the oversized swing chairs or grab a table in the back. They do get busy and one day they could have used another server. Reasonable drink prices. The frozen drinks were tasty and popular. Dog friendly.

Everyone is so nice and the outdoor porch is clean. The swinging chairs are a blast! It’s a casual place, so no need to dress to nicely. They play great music 😅. Pets are allowed 👍🏻

Fun outdoor bar on the island. Great drink prices and now they have liquor! Some local craft beer is available on tap. Drinks are made from scratch and there are lots of choices. Great coffee is also served. Staff is friendly and super efficient. This is a must stop when cruising around the island. They also have a drive thru!

Had a great time at The Hut this weekend! My wife and I went every day for the three days we were in Port A. Awesome atmosphere, good drinks and great service! Jared & the owner (didn’t get his name) were cool to chat with. We will be back, hopefully soon!

The bartenders know how to make a good drink. The atmosphere is always fun and relaxing. Typically on Saturday nights they will have music. Also there is The Food Hut. With your basic stuff like hamburgers, chili boats, and chicken sandwiches. The menu is always changing, but she keeps a lot of the basics on the menu. There is typically a daily special as well.

Great selection of frozen drinks, cocktails on the rocks, and beer. Friendly service! Also, drive thru drink option for your vehicle or golf cart! How fun is that. A must go place if you’re at Port A. Oh and better yet they are very dog friendly, and everyone at the bar loved having a dog around.

The owners are amazing people. I accidentally dropped my debit card through the cracks on the wooden deck, and they pulled up a board to get it out for me! Truly above and beyond, great customer service. Atmosphere is very relaxed, and they have local beers on tap. Love this place!

This place is absolutely awesome! Great people and great prices! Definitely will get your island on! Also dog friendly! Update 6/2021 The atmosphere has changed drastically and wish the owners and the people who ran it were the same. It feels like more of a corporate ran business rather than a loving island bar.

Red, the Bartender was rude, not once but twice!!! The swings are cool and bar would have a great vibe if not ruined by bartender’s attitude. Will not go back !

But what really made us feel sad was when a woman about 70 years old ordered 4 frozen drinks, and he had her carry them by herself in a flimsy cardboard drink container. When she paid, he banged his glass tip jar on the bar several times, yet watched her struggle to carry the drink to her friends. She was trying to tip, but he was not patient with her. So after she safely delivered all four drinks, she returned with a tip. We will not go back. We have been here several times throughout the year and he is a greeefy hustler. He is abrasive and does not give Texas Hospitality a good rap, and for that matter, he does not embody the spirit of Texas.

Very rude OWNER! We pulled up in golf carts, the owner yelled at us “Last Call”. As we proceeded to order drinks from the bar, my husband tried to order a drink and the owner said he would not serve him. I asked what time he closes and he yelled he was closing early, he was tired and wanted to go home. Yelled to come back another time! Horrible experience definitely will never give my hard working money to a person of that nature!
