Best place to get donuts. Delish!! Do yourself a favor and go. The shop itself is just a shop- nothing fancy- hence the 3 stars. It’s fine. But could be more fun of course. There's vegan donuts if you're vegan which is great. I love their breakfast sandwiches- they use Boars Head meat! I find it to be the best. :) My friend ordered a donut cake and it was surprisingly huge! Super worth it all!
I stopped in Donutopolis to buy some Gavina coffee, a few donuts and Sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwiches. The sandwiches were very filling. The croissant was flaky and flavorful. Of course, the donuts here are awesome!

When I learned that this shop makes ridiculously large birthday donuts, I knew I had to get one for my donut lover's birthday. You can order up to 3 tiers for the birthday donut. I just got 1 tier and it was the largest donut I've ever seen with my own eyes. FYI: It is not a cake decorated to look like a donut (which was what I was worried about). It is 100% yeast donut, which makes it so amazing. I called the day before to order and paid $13 at pickup. You can put whatever glaze or toppings you want on it. They even have bacon topping, but it costs extra (understandable). My birthday man was laughing and crying with joy when I gave it to him. He'll remember this donut/birthday for the rest of his life.
This place is AMAZING!!!! They sell GLUTEN-FREE donuts and are very careful not to mix them or contaminate them with the regular donuts!!! They also sell deli style sandwiches. Their coffee is good, not the best but will be definitely better than "gas station" coffee!!! The staff is very friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed if you go here.

These guys are amazing. I remember waiting for the place to open and when it finally did I was thoroughly impressed with their service and their donuts. It was our daily Sunday routine to drive over and grab donuts on our way to the Del Mar Dog Beach with our dogs. Every Sunday morning around 6 we would walk in and they would welcome us like family and remembered our order! In a time where customer service is waining these guys do it right. Great Donuts and Great Service. What else could you ask for.
Got two croissant breakfast sandwiches. The croissant was flaky and warm, sausage was tasty, and they used quality cheese that tasted fresh. Got one of every genre of donut: cake, dough, old fashion. None of them were greasy, and were light and fluffy leaving no weird aftertaste. As I was leaving one of the employees talked to me and was genuine and friendly. To top it all off the place was clean and you could tell they took pride in the establishment. Loved it!
First time here. Wife loves their plain donuts. Iced Coffee is great too! Just enough sweetness, but not too much. Was eating their Western Bagel Sandwich which was bomb, and the owner (I think) came by and asked us how we were doing that day. Very friendly guy. He seems to recognize lots of recurring customers too. Tables could be kind of powdery though.
The donuts have a fluffy light flavorful taste & texture, I just love them. My favorite is the vegan glazed, hubby loves the traditional cinnamon roll & glazed buttermilk. Fun flavors for kids. Their coffee is so good, with soy milk on request, & lots of beverages to choose from. Super nice, friendly, happy owners.
Great new place! Delicious donuts and also, great sandwiches. They are tasty and filling haha. The workers there are great too..making sure everything is as you like it. Who knew a donut shop could have such great sandwiches??? I'll be back. :)
Their donuts are great and their gluten-free donuts are amazing. My wife has fairly severe gluten intolerance and has never gotten sick here! The donuts here really make her happy!
OMG the gluten free donuts are to die for! They are like delicious little fluffy cakes! The texture and flavor are both to die for. I’m hooked. The associate was also very helpful and kind. Definitely coming back here. Highly recommend!
Normally, our go-to donut spot closes at 2:30 pm, but with the family in a donut mood, we found an alternative shop open until 7 pm with stellar reviews. The donuts did not disappoint, and the California sandwich on jalapeño bread was phenomenal.
Let me tell you the best part of having to take a family member to the airport super early. This place! A truly life changing experience of culinary deliciousness.

Love Donutopolis! Their donuts and coffee are fabulous! Best ever! Love their Boars Head sandwiches with homemade rolls. The guys are very friendly and appreciative of your business. So happy they are in Poway ! A must try, you will not be disappointed.
1st time here and wasn't disappointed. Place is small, can barely fit two people wide (between wall and showcase), but that seemed to add to the ambience. Staff are freindly and eventhough it was busy, service was fast. Okay, now to the most import part...the donuts. They had a good selection (wide variety), between classic cake (plain and frosted), filled, raised, cruellers, buttermilk, and long johns (bars) and donut holes. The dough is just right. Whether it's cake or raised it's soft and chewy, and NOT rubbery. NO oily/greasy feel or taste, and the part I like the best, they're not too sweet. Definitely a new goto for donuts!

I dropped in on a Saturday around 10am for the first time. I ordered a maple cruller and a apple fritter. These 2 donuts were the best I've had in years from any shop around. The fritter was still warm which I wasn't expecting at 10am. I'll be back for sure for more freshness!

They have a big variety of donuts and a section of donut holes that is clearly labeled VEGAN, which I really appreciated. We ordered a dozen donuts, two of each flavor glazed, maple, maple with sprinkles, strawberry, strawberry with sprinkles, and chocolate. Every single one was soft, fresh, and delicious. I am already planning a trip back just to order more.

The everything bagel was freshly baked and packed with flavor, and the local coffee? Spot on! ☕️ But what really made our morning was the warm and super helpful staff! They made us feel right at home. If you're in Poway, DO NOT MISS this gem! Artisan donuts, delicious bagels, and everything breakfast... you're covered! 10/10 recommend. Can't wait to come back and try more of their creations 😋

They have gluten free donuts! I bought the blueberry and it was delicious. Moist and airy (for gluten free). Glaze adds a nice touch of sweetness. I would go back again to try their other flavors of gluten free donuts.

I was getting pizza next door and while I was waiting, decided to get some sweets. I haven’t been back to this place since they opened. So this was a great refresher. I got half a dozen mixed of 3 sugar, 1 blueberry, 1 red velvet, and 1 chocolate. The sugar dough was a bit dry but it was fluffed, light, and airy. The blueberry and red velvet exceeded my expectation of how good it was! I thought it would be sugary sweet but it wasn’t. It had the perfect texture and semi sweet. You can totally tell it was home made by a mom and pop shop and not like the chain names. Blueberry was my favorite, tasted exactly like the blueberry cereal/cake flavor. They also make vegan and gluten free!

This shop has the best donuts of all the donut shops around believe me Ive tried them all. I just love the barvarian cream I always get 2 yep thats right and love the twists and raspberry filled but they are all made to perfection here.
My absolute favorite donut shop! They have their donuts down to a science. Not overly sweet and not so fried it jacks up your stomach for the rest of the day. They are incredibly light and soft and maintain that texture well into the next day. Highly recommend! Side note - I grew up on 9th Avenue Donuts (Petersons) in Escondido, and I prefer these instead. Especially since Peterson's hasn't been the same for the last ten years or so.

Donuts are delicious! But…. we felt a little judged by the girl taking our order. Iced latte wasn’t great and I think they forgot to put vanilla in mine. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it came with the wrong cheese. Tables were dirty. Overall, I’d stick to the donuts and maybe breakfast sandwiches here

Staff was great, they let us know they’d have vegan yeast donuts on Saturday. We initially stopped in and grabbed a few of the vegan cake donuts, which were awesome. Came back on Saturday to get the yeast ones, which were even better!
I love their donuts! However, the last couple of times I've gone, they're almost out of donuts and flies around them. I have not tried their sandwiches but plan to, hopefully without flies around the food.

$9.00 for a sausage bagel sandwich, $10.+ with tip. Yes, it was a good sandwich. Yes, I bought it knowing the cost. Atmosphere is ok. I gave it 4 stars based on everything just mentioned.

The donuts are good and people are friendly however it is concerning how much the man that works there touches his nose and mouth then goes right to handling the donuts. Holding a piece of paper and picking up donuts doesn't change the fact that he just wiped his nose. Please fix this.
My family and I flew in from across the country and made this place our first stop. I had placed a Door Dash pickup order 2 days in advance for my son’s birthday. When the older man comes out with my box I repeat my order to him, “a dozen of gluten free donuts right?” “No you placed an order for 6. They are $2.75 each.” “No, I placed an order for a dozen”. Long story short…I showed him the proof and instead he went on saying “Oh, that would be too cheap….the other place down the street charges blah blah. Thats a mistake on Door Dash and we’ll fix it later”….I still needed the other 6 donuts and he decided to charge me….see, as a business owner myself, I would have given him the other 6 for free and apologized for that. Then I would have corrected the mistake on Door Dash to avoid future confusion…No apologies from this business. Just pure greed and bad business. I haven’t tried the donuts yet, matter fact, I haven’t even looked at them from how pissed I am. But better be some good donuts for $34+. Smh
