5-Star Review: Ribeye Steak Experience I recently had the pleasure of dining at Borderline Cafe, where I ordered the ribeye steak. While the marinade had an unusual taste that caught me off guard initially, the overall experience was fantastic. The steak itself was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and a tender, juicy interior. The quality of the meat was evident in every bite, and the odd marinade taste surprisingly grew on me as I continued to eat. The service was top-notch. Despite the initial surprise with the marinade, the ribeye steak was a delightful dish that I would highly recommend to any steak lover. Kudos to the chef for delivering such a memorable meal! Would I order it again? Absolutely! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

You know how when you order a burger from a local place and its just perfect? The bun is fresh, soft on the outside, toasted on the inside. The burger patty is huge and tastes like BEEF, the fixings on it are fresh and every bite is just all yummy. Yeah that's this place. Credit card not accepted but they take cash or check. And there's an ATM in there. My Junior Burger was huge.

8 oz steak seemed more like 12 oz. It was huge. Food was prepared great and tasted amazing! Will be back soon. They only take cash.

I had the chicken fried steak, it was hand made to order which was great. Steak was a bit chewy, but seasoned well. Plenty of food on my plate. Waitstaff were professional, and friendly. Prices were a bit high for the type of food, and a bit further drive than I am used to. No cards accepted for payment, the signage was not near the cash register. Cashier advised they don't accept cards because card companies are being sued for overcharging? Wouldn't even take my debit card. That's a deal breaker for me, sorry.

Best rib eye steak around hands down!!! The ham burgers are huge!!! Delicious food!!!Definitely worth the short drive. Owners are very friendly and down to earth. They run the restaurant themselves.

We have always loved eating at Borderline and as usual our steaks were great. It was the first time going there with my grandson who is 10 months old and they brought him out a toy to play with which was super nice. We have never had a bad experience here and will continue to go there every chance we get.

Overall great! The food was delicious and the waitress was superb! Serving portions are almost guaranteed to have leftovers lol Highly recommend if your in the area.

Best steak fingers I've ever had. Cash only, but they have an ATM on site so I'm not mad at it. Card fees for small businesses are outrageous, so it makes sense. Only got a picture of the burger because it's a sight to behold-- steak fingers didn't last long enough for a good pic. I would also order the burger again, but will get extra cheese on it to even out the huge patty

One of a kind place with massive burgers. The wait staff is great but they definitely don’t have enough of them. Takes awhile to seared and to get drinks and order taken. Again though they are very friendly and has been a staple in the community.

Convenient location, great service, good food. We had a large group and all of the food came out hot and delicious. The 16 oz ribeye was two steaks!

The flavor was there in the burger, but they kept falling apart. The waitress was nice but not very attentive. Then when you went to pay they don't take card, but they have it posted on a small chalkboard cash only. Like as if someone is going to read it, but they conveniently have an ATM.

I typically receive excellent service here and always tip the waitress generously. However, this evening, I brought a friend, and after we were seated for five minutes, a family of four arrived and was served before anyone even inquired about our drink order. Consequently, we decided to leave.

I feel kinda bad leaving this review. We have been there a few times now over the years. The first time was not too bad honestly probably mostly because I'm picky about my steak it was an "it will do" situation, but we were not impressed enough to go back for years. We actually stopped in a graduation party not intend to eat because we weren't crazy about it the first time, however the burgers looked good. We chose to go back a few weeks later to try just the burgers. They are honestly huge and a good cafe style burger. I'd add more cheese if you like cheese but other than that it was good. This 3rd time tho idk what was going on. My husband and I went on our usual date night excited to give it another shot. The atmosphere wasn't good. The vibe was completely off. First it was freezing to both of us. Second I really hate to say this but the waitress didn't not make us feel welcome and to me was not friendly at all. It was so odd you were afraid to talk above a whisper due to how quiet it was in there and I do not like to feel like I walk on eggshells with treatment either. They asked how I wanted my steak and as I said I'm a bit picky but flavor matters more. I want medium to medium rare. She made me kinda uncomfortable to the point I was going to just order something else. I talked it over and decided to go ahead and give the steak another try. There was my mistake. First the potatoes were not hot enough to melt the "whipped spread". Second the steak didn't taste like it was seasoned much. It was cooked good for the most part but idk I just was not all that impressed and wish I had ordered something else. Maybe I'm just spoiled to my husband's steak at home. Before I could eat 4 bites of my steak and was already as I said kinda unimpressed with it she dropped off 2 to go boxes and our check. People that were there longer hadn't gotten this treatment. I feel like we were rushed for some reason. It put me off my meal the rest of the way. I felt completely uncomfortable and we decided to just pack up and go home. The fried pickles were very good though ! Due to all of this we won't be going back. We go on date night every Friday and eat local most of the time so I feel 3 tries has been enough for us. We ordered the Borderline burger, 12oz steak, fried pickles 2 teas $71. Price was excellent and again I know I'm picky on my steak but the atmosphere and treatment this time assured me we won't even go back for a burger now. I'm really sad to say it since we love to eat local.

Cash only! No cards, but does have an ATM inside. Instantly, the smell of cigarettes was in the lobby, we thought maybe it was coming in from outside so we waited to be seated. But no, the smell of cigarette smoke was all through the dining area too. I don't know if they allow smoking inside but its smells like cigarettes. I ordered the hamburger steak with baked potato and beans. Wife ordered chicken fried steak with baked potatoe and a salad. Salad looked pitiful. Big plate, small handful of lettuce scattered around to look like its alot. The food came out fast, so im assuming its pre-made under a warmer or something. My hamburger steak was thin but tasted ok, the onions on it were very greasy. The brown gravy was too thick for me. My beans came out late cuz they forgot it, but tasted ok. My sweet tea tasted old, likes its been sitting a while. Wifes chicken fried steak was very thin as well, white gravy tasted like powdered gravy. Both baked potatoes were probably the best thing we ate. Food was expensive for what we got. Waitress seemed kinda rude, but maybe they were very shorthanded, and in a hurry. Probably wont be going back.
