Caribbean Element is the best restaurant on Provo — hands down, no exaggeration. My boyfriend and I were there for a week and ate out for practically every meal. This one blew all the other fancier places out of the crystal blue water. Mary, the owner, came up to introduce herself to us before our entrees came, and she was just so warm and light. Such a sweet lady. I told her I’m very rarely wow-ed by food, but I just have no other words for the conch fritters. “Wow” will have to do. Get in with the yellow sauce!! We got the oxtail risotto, lobster and shrimp saffron pasta, conch fritters, lychee lemonade, Shirley temple, beet salad, and chocolate cake. Actually, make that conch fritters x2 because I ordered another plate right before dessert and ROLLED out of the restaurant without eating any of the cake (we took it to go). Worth it a thousand times over. I knew I would regret leaving the island without getting more conch fritters from this restaurant. I’m now (heavily) regretting honoring our reservation at Le Bouchon the following day and not just coming back here for our last dinner on the island. Not to compare the two places… (mainly because Le Bouchon could never compare) Every single item we got was SO good. The shrimp was cooked PERFECTLY. I rarely ever have shrimp cooked this well (see pic attached). Usually restaurants overcook shrimp so I knew it was a bit of a gamble, but I won big time. The pasta was so so so creamy and flavorful. The lemonade was almost milky, it was so smooth. Perfect amount of lychee taste. The oxtail was just heavenly. My boyfriend never cleans the bones whether it’s chicken wings or ribs (huge red flag, I know). He spent most of dinner picking at his bones because he finished his plate so fast. The risotto was also very good and flavorful. I can’t speak to the beet salad because I don’t really care for beets and I hate goat cheese. But my boyfriend really liked it, his only critique being he would’ve liked more arugula. The cake was good, but it wasn’t great. Keeping in mind that I also had it 24 hours later after it had been sitting in a hotel mini fridge. I wanted cheesecake but my boyfriend had been wanting chocolate the entire week and I got to pick the entire week so I thought I could afford a small kindness. Next time (and there will be a next time), we’re getting cheesecake. I’m salivating while writing this review. GO HERE!! It’s not super instagrammable and is away from most of the bustle but it’s got outdoor seating in a cute courtyard.
The staff is attentive and friendly. You are given complimentary chips and salsa which is very good. I personally would have loved for the salsa to be a little spicy however. Their entrees were top notch! I enjoyed the jerk chicken and my husband loved the curry conch. Some of the best food we got on the island during our stay. I would highly recommend!!
I loved this place! I had dinner with my mother. I don't remember what my mom ordered. I ordered the curry chicken. Both dishes were delicious - seasoned well and sleek presentation! We had the opportunity to speak with the owner. I believe her name is Mary. She greeted us outside and we spoke for quite a while. She was respectful and easy to speak with, an overall beautiful personality and lady. When I go back to Turks, I will dine here again!
Mrs Stacy, the owner, is the best. She made an effort to come by our table multiple times to check on us and provide recommendations. The jerk shrimp risotto and conch fritters were out of this world! The outdoor seating was romantic for Valentine’s Day!
This was the best dinner by far on the island. The kitchen was ran by three amazing female chefs who cooked delicious meals. The bartender made the best virgin Pina Colada I've had on the island and our waitress was sweet and explained who all the picture were on the walls. This place is a must!
You’re in the Caribbean, only makes sense to get your fix of Caribbean food while you’re here! Of the 5 nights stay in TCI, this spot (along with BLT steak) was our favorite restaurant. It was better than The Farm, Embers, and Nonna’s at Ritz. It’s a hidden spot inside a small plaza but the flavors were just as I expected! Both our jerk chicken and oxtail stew dishes were delicious! It’s nice to also not spend hotel prices for a great meal. We also got the toffee bread pudding for dessert and devoured it in under 2 minutes. Warm service, great meal, reasonable prices….you’re missing out if you don’t eat here during your Grace Bay vacay!
The meal was delicious - everything we ate (as a party of 6) was so flavorful and prepared perfectly. We will definitely be coming back our next visit to t&c.
Amazing experience! Wonderful atmosphere with prominent people of Provo on the wall — super proud T&C vibes, love it! We sat at the bar and were well taken care of! The owner, Mary, stopped by and chatted with us and made sure we felt prepped and ready for an amazing dinner… and it was! Seafood pasta and catch of the day (snapper) — both were delicious!! We also got dessert (the “repent after” 😅) chocolate cake! Everything exceeded expectations — including the kind and attentive staff. We will be back! Thanks, Caribbean Element for a great experience on Provo! 🤗
My husband and I had dinner here last night. The service was top-notch. Drinks were quick and powerful. The food was excellent. I don't usually eat beets, but these were delicious (Mary, the owner, makes them with balsamic vinegar). Speaking of Mary, she stopped by a few times to make sure we were happy with her restaurant. She's such a nice lady. Shared local history with us. Would we go back? ABSOLUTELY. Highly recommend you give it a try.
We came here based on reviews and dinner was out of this world! I had the red snapper & shrimp curry and my husband had the catch of the day with the jerk spice on the side. Our toddler had the fish sticks. We all loved our meals and the service was so friendly and warm and welcoming. We did not have a reservation and did not have any issues getting a table at 6pm on a Monday. Looking forward to our next visit!
Caribbean Element is a hidden gem in Turks and Caicos that offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the delicious cuisine. The menu showcases the best of Caribbean flavors, with dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The jerk chicken is a must-try, with its perfectly balanced blend of spices that will leave your taste buds dancing. The conch fritters are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a classic Caribbean appetizer done right. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The owner, Mary, is a true hospitality professional who takes great pride in her restaurant and makes every guest feel welcome. If you're looking for a truly authentic and delicious Caribbean meal in Turks and Caicos, Caribbean Element is a must-visit. You won't be dissatisfied!!
Great food, service was fantastic. The owner Mary came by our table a few times to check in and was very nice and welcoming. Had the shrimp risotto and the jerk pork chop. Very good portion sizes as well. It's better than we have had in Grace Bay so far. Highly recommend!
We were looking for Caribbean food, saw the reviews and had a phenomenal experience. The food is sensational. The flavors are just delicious! And the staff is amazingly friendly. They presented us with chips and salsa but it was a Caribbean salsa - a warm sweet potato and roasted vegetable salsa (it was so good). I asked our server what her favorite entree was and she said the curry oxtail. Having never had it, now was the time and I am so glad it was. It was “oh my goodness” delicious; It was similar to a sweet short rib with a mild curry sauce - I just wanted to lick the plate. My husband ordered Sautéed Caicos Conch with a side of spicy pikliz (a super spicy slaw); he did lick the plate! We were stuffed to the gills but the sticky toffee pudding was calling my name so I just had to. It was everything I had thought it would be. Thank you Della for your amazing service (and happy birthday!) and thank you Mary for your delicious restaurant!
Best jerk chicken meal I’ve ever had in my life! Perfectly seasoned, just the right amount of spice for my tasting. I could feel the heat but it had me begging for more. Seasoned deep like it took a swim in da Caribbean Sea itself. Chicken soft and juicy like da meat been whisperin’ sweet nothins to the fire. Coconut rice, nice and fluffy like the clouds. Coleslaw just right to top it off. Big ups to the chef, I’ll be flying back just for one more plate.
Omg! The food was amazing! Everything came out hot and fresh. We had the curry oxtail, the jerk chicken, the cracked chicken, and the MUSHROOM RISOTTO 😆 so good!!! Highly recommend
What a great little gem in TCI. We came here after great Google reviews and the reviews don't lie. We didn't have a reservation but were able to be seated. A reservation would make it easier. They start you with this unique veggie salsa with chips that should be bottled and sold. I had the wings with bbq guava sauce, shrimp fried rice, and fried plantains. My husband had the jerk shrimp risotto. Wow. I was pretty stuffed with my wings alone, but the flavor was phenomenal. My husband said the jerk chicken had just the right amount of heat that balanced the richness of his risotto. We even got the chocolate cake for dessert and had two mocktails. In all for the amount that we spent, we were extremely satisfied with all the food. We spent similar amounts at other places in the area and less satisfied with the food. I also love that the owner comes around and greets every customer to make it a welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend this to any visitors on TCI, especially those wanting a Caribbean flair to their meal at reasonable prices.
Had a nice dinner evening at Caribbean Element. I was pleasantly greeted by the owner, Mary upon arrival and she constantly checked up on me throughout my time there to ensure I was good. The hospitality at this restaurant was very warm and welcoming. The dishes I ordered were the Tropical Tuna Tartare and the Element Curry Chicken, both were savory and delicious! Definitely one of top restaurants I ate at on this trip with nice outdoor seating and also fantastic interior design! Thank you to Mary and her staff once again for making my visit a great one. - Nolan
Such an amazing staff & service! The jerk chicken isn’t too spicy, check my captions for the photos of the food. They do serve chips and their own sauce. I believe it was a squash sauce? If you are a texture person when it comes to eating it does have that grainy texture. I actually liked the dip they paired the chips with. But if you’re more of a salsa chip lover, you might not like it as much. Don’t be afraid to try a little though, it’s mild and just tastes like orange veggies. Beautiful outdoor seating and everyone again is super friendly! They do charge water by the bottle for the table.
Despite being very busy as they had a party of 40, they accommodated my husband and I even though we did not have a reservation. In addition, food and service was 10/10! Highly recommend if you want to try delicious local food.
Amazing service, and delicious Caribbean food. The risotto is the creamiest and most delicious risotto I’ve ever had. The portions are great, they do not skimp out on portions at all! The drinks are actual drink sizes. Finally a reasonably priced place on island. We met the owner, Mary, and she was a sweetheart. My wife has allergies towards nuts, and she could eat everything on the menu. If you haven’t had great Caribbean food, definitely try this place out! It’s refreshing to see great food, great price, and super attentive wait staff. Thank you! We ate the food faster than we could take photos. Easy walk from the hotels (Ritz)
What an awesome restaurant!! Decided to have dinner here with 24 of my friends and family during my trip to T&C and this restaurant did not disappoint. The owner Mary personally called to ask if I was celebrating anything and I told her it was my 60th birthday. She told me she would make it a memorable event and that was an understatement. When I tell you Mary went above and beyond to make this a special event I am not exaggerating. She decorated the entire restaurant with Mylar and regular balloons, gave me a gift of 6 beautiful personalized hand painted glasses that said Happy 60th birthday Tracy and set the table with beautiful personalized placemats that had a space for people to write me birthday blessings on the other side, in addition dessert. All of this was FREE OF CHARGE and just done out of the goodness of her heart. The food was delicious and not one person had anything negative to say about ANY dish that was brought out. The garnishes on the dishes were spectacular as was the service. She graciously accommodated our request for separate checks and by the end of the night I felt like Mary was part of the family. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting T&C
Best restaurant on the island we have tried so far. Excellent Caribbean food, well spiced, fresh and great atmosphere. Jerk chicken, coconut prawns and the saffron curry snapper were phenomenal!
One of our better meals on TCI. Creative Caribbean menu. The largest red snapper I’ve ever had and it was delicious. The pumpkin soup starter was perfectly seasoned. All at our table we were very pleased with our entire meals. Service was very good as well. The owner welcomed us with warmth and periodically checked on us as well. Great way to spend the last night of our vacation and I was surprised with a belated birthday dessert on the house. Our compliments to the chef for elevating Caribbean cuisine.
The food was sublime! We had the Oxtail, Jerk chicken and the curry goat and just woah, delicious! The standout was the curry goat, it melted in your mouth! The service was great - everything you would expect, friendly attentive and generally lovely.
Very friendly staff, especially the owner. The seafood pasta was a great mix including shrimp and conch which I liked, and the sauce was flavorful but a bit heavy. Overall a great experience.
Absolutely amazing! My family and I ate here for dinner while visiting Provo. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. We all agreed that it was the best dinner we had on our week long trip to Provo.
Best in town for a Jamaican flavor pricey as everywhere else in grace Bay Area
Best food I had during my trip in Providenciales. The lobster meat is cooked right, the tuna tartare is very delicious, and the guava duff dessert is unique and authentic. The pricing is reasonable compared to some other places. Leka is very attentive and pleasant during my dinner. Would definitively visit again!
Absolutely great place: delicious food, attentive service, very friendly owner
Beautifully delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. Service was attentive and friendly. The owner even was there to talk with everyone. Would recommend: goat curry and jerk chicken.
The Jerk lobster was amazing, and my wife stated that her curry goat was the best ever.
We wanted to find some authentic Caribbean food and stumbled upon this place. It was a little packed so we know it must be good. The server was very patient with my little ones who was over tired. I told him maybe we should just take it to go and he told me not to worry. Enjoy. Everyone can get tired sometimes. Then he made sure to bring her food out first. The food was excellent along with great service. Highly recommend. First place I have seen to have a kids menu. Thumbs up!
Fantastic food and service! The owner came around to ensure we were having a nice time and trying some of the more local flavors. Every meal was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The pumpkin soup was to die for! And the owner came up to greet us personally which was lovely. The coconut curry was delicious not sweet but spiced and beautifully flavorful. Overall was an amazing fulfilling meal.
The food is amazing . Beautifully presented and the choices we made were outstanding . The staff are a delight and the owner Mary speaks to everyone . My only complaint is that they will not do take out to Scotland !
Had the catch of the day which was grouper at the time and ordered it blackened. So good! Best grouper I have ever had. My fiancé had the chicken thighs in curry and it was also absolutely delicious. Best curry she said she ever had. The owner happened to come in as we were leaving and introduced herself and was so kind. The staff was so great and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!
We saw this restaurant had good reviews so we went to check them out. The service was good and very friendly. The food was really good. We started with conch fritters. We got the catch of the day- snapper with jerk sauce and goat curry. Both dishes were fresh and flavorful. Im glad we went. I'd recommend trying it.
Due to weather cancelling a boat tour, we had to find a reservation for 8 people in a pinch. We found Caribbean Element based on availability online. In the reviews, everyone cited the quality of the food and that it was locally owed. We can verify both to be outstanding. All 8 people loved their food from pasta to lobster to steak to jerked catch of the day and beyond. We got to meet the owner, and she was a delight. Our server was equally delightful as she engaged with all of us and managed meal pacing very well despite the group size. Though they have local deep cuts, they also have great kid options and they can accommodate vegetarians. I would recommend this place without hesitation across a wide palate. From top to bottom, this place is 10 out of 10.
We had a great dinner during our visit to Provo. Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was even better, the best meal we had on the island. Great variety. Fresh and local flavors. We had fresh snapper, jerked oxtail, and other great items from the menu. It wasn't crowded the night we were there (we went on the later side) but it should have been jam packed based on our experience.
The best restaurant on TCI. DO NOT SKIP THIS. Get the jerk sauce regular. You cannot go wrong. Had the jerk pork and it was so nice we went back twice to have the mango oxtail. The seafood is great, and that is coming from someone who doesn't normally eat it and ate their first bite here in years. And enjoyed it! Come here early in your trip so you have time to come back. Not normally a recommendation I make as I am a visit once and try others person. This is different. The food, the staff, and the owner are all amazing and this is truly a hidden gem on the island
I visited Caribbean Element in Providenciales and had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. The food was outstanding. The conch fritters were the best I’ve ever tasted, and the oxtail—recommended by the team and new to me—was exceptional. During our first visit, a group of five, we were so impressed that we returned with our full group of fourteen. Unfortunately, the larger group behaved poorly, and I was sincerely embarrassed. Despite this, the owner and the second-in-charge showed remarkable kindness, patience, and professionalism. Their warm, good-hearted approach never wavered. Caribbean Element delivers extraordinary food and genuine hospitality. I would return in a heartbeat—just not with that group again. I highly recommend this restaurant to any group traveling to Turks and Caicos. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a family, or a larger party, the combination of excellent cuisine and gracious service makes it a must-visit.
Best meal we had on our trip. Excellent flavor and one of a kind atmosphere. Owner came by multiple times to ask how our food was and recommend dishes. The sticky toffee cake was the perfect end to an amazing meal and experience. Definite stop on any revisits to the islands!
Truly one of the best meals I've had on the island. Been to the tourist spots and resort high end places and this place takes the cake. Delicious food, great service and they care about the food and the customers. Right on the main drag by resorts, definitely check it out if you want good Caribbean food.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough!! The food is delicious, the service is immaculate, and they are extremely accommodating for allergies. We were only in town for about 10 days and after the first time we went here we had to make sure we went again before we left. We chatted with the owner the first night who was so kind. Our waitress also remembered us when we came back the second time and even remembered our allergies! I 10000% love this restaurant and their staff. This is a MUST TRY in Turks and Caicos!
This restaurant is in a plaza with both indoor and outdoor seating, which was great for us since we got caught in the rain! The owner seems really passionate about the place, and it's super clean and nicely decorated. I especially loved seeing the open kitchen, the drinks were nice and the food was delicious too!
Overall, a nice dinner at Caribbean Element. We enjoyed speaking with the owner, and both meals were well prepared and full of flavor. The experience was impacted by very slow service, though our server was friendly and attentive. I would absolutely return for the Lobster and Shrimp Curry and hope this was simply an off night, especially given the many positive experiences others have shared.
Our large group enjoyed a wonderful evening dining al fresco. The menu offers an extensive selection, with beautifully presented dishes that were absolutely delicious. While the service was friendly and attentive, it was quite slow — a set menu would have benefited both the kitchen and our group. Mary was a gem, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommend any of the curry dishes!
Fantastic food for the three of us: conch ceviche, grilled octopus, curry goat, oxtail stew, grilled conch. All was delicious. Our server, Elizabeth, was so pleasant, too. Definitely my favorite dining experience on the island!
Not bad! I'd say this is one of the better meals I had during my short stay on Provo. Like most places around Grace Bay it might feel a bit pricey compared to the US, but I'd say the food quality here is above average. There are other places at a comparable price point that are just average at best. I thought the curried snapper was pretty good, and the staff were all cool. The location is in a small complex with some other stores and restaurants so the outdoor seating vibe isn't all that amazing, but it is what it is. Most of the outdoor seating is covered, but if you get an unexpected rain shower it can be a little awkward scooting your table under an umbrella or having some rain blow in... ask me how I know 😉😂 I wouldn't necessarily say you should drive out of your way to go here, but it's worth checking out if you're in the area.
We had dinner here after seeing some glowing reviews on Google and we were underwhelmed. My catch of the day was ok, but my wife's tenderloin was overcooked and when we mentioned this to the server, he apologized for not asking how she would like it to have been cooked. But that was the end of it, an apology; I guess it is expected to accept your overcooked food if that's the way it's given to you. We will not be returning, there are some phenomenal options on the island, it's best to get recommendations from other visitors to the island.
