Avis sur Atelier Barra de Cafe Puebla
Cute little spot, decent specialty coffees. Would repeat.
Everything I ordered was delicious; you can tell they prepare each dish with care and quality ingredients. The staff was incredibly friendly, always attentive and smiling. Plus, the place is beautiful: it has a cozy decor that makes you want to linger. Without a doubt, it's a place I'll return to and highly recommend.
It's a place that's almost invisible from the outside, but inside it's very nice, clean, spacious, and airy. It has minimalist decor and a beautifully decorated selfie mirror. The food is delicious; the bagel bread is the best I've ever had, and the portion is quite generous. I also liked that they offer the option of salad or fries on the side. The Taylor Swift-inspired drink was good, but the one called Augurio is really tasty.
We went on a Saturday night, and the place was super quiet, plus it's very cute and cozy. We ordered a latte, a cappuccino, and a cheesecake with their seasonal mango jam. Everything was delicious, but the oat milk latte was especially delicious—highly recommended. We'll be back soon to try more!
The place, although small, is nice, and the drinks and food are delicious. The only problem is that they take a while to give you the menu and take your order; it's like a strange wait, not knowing if the menu is online or if they're going to show it to you. Everything else seemed pleasant.
Cool little spot with great coffee
A great bar to enjoy everything; their signature drinks are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the "Carmín," and the "Nolita" is very tasty as a snack, as is a good flat white with any of their desserts. You can sit and enjoy their great playlists, read, or play a game for a while like I did, and you'll have a great time.
I'm not from Puebla, but my family and I went in the morning for something hot to drink. The coffee is really delicious, and I loved the matcha too. I'm giving it three stars because I wish they had vegan options on the menu; it would be amazing if they thought of us. But other than that, it's fine.
The music is boring, just like the coffee. I went three times, and all three times I felt the atmosphere was classist. The first time I went on a rainy day and asked if they were open. They brushed me off and told me I could come in. I thought their toast was expensive for the size and quality of the portion, but I liked the flat white. The second time, I only ordered the flat white, but I still felt that strange vibe from the people at the bar. The third time, they blocked my credit card because the girl made a mistake the first time. I told her that a message was already appearing on the terminal saying it was going to be blocked, but she ignored me, inserted it again, and it was blocked. The girl at the bar got annoyed when she stamped my passport. I didn't ask for a discount or anything, but I suppose she wanted me to order an exquisite filter coffee or one of their specialty drinks. Again, I noticed those disdainful looks, and he seemed angry because he told the waitress that the discount wouldn't apply, even though I hadn't asked for one. I just wanted my passport stamp because I've had it since last year, and I like collecting the stamps and benefits it offers. It's the only café where I've felt that disdain, those up-and-down stares, and that poor treatment made me feel like they didn't want to serve me because I'm not a coffee expert or a "white Mexican" (a derogatory term for someone of mixed Mexican and Indigenous ancestry). I forgot to mention that their wooden bench is poorly designed; it's uncomfortable, the backrest tilts, and it bumps against your back. The backrest is loose; it looks like an old bed.
