Today was the first time I ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats. When I tell you I am one satisfied customer; I will definitely eat from here again. Everything was to perfection! I ordered a large griot meal with rice which came with plantains, pickles, black bean gravy and another side of a delicious gravy and pikliz. I haven’t had Haitian food in so long and I am so glad I gave this place a chance. Whoever was in the kitchen please give them my thanks because wow. The portion size was also well worth the price. My picture does no justice but I was so excited to eat once I received my order.
Had black rice, macaroni and cheese, griot, and turkey wings. Tasted amazing, will be going back again. It was my first time trying this place, I was told by a great Haitian friend of mine that this is the only place to get authentic Haitian food, he was correct. I am stuffed, and have enough food for a couple meals. The prices are not bad at all for the amount of food you get. Don't think twice, stop by for the experience.
The food is crazy delicious! I've had boulette, legume, griot fritay, black rice, acra. Literally everything on their menu is well seasoned and delicious. If you're ordering boulette in particular, it can take 30 minutes so order in advance. Very friendly owners. If you're ordering in advance they need to meet you in person first and add your name to a list. This way it prevents people from canceling orders unnecessarily and them wasting food.
Been there 5x already!! My go-to Haitian spot.. love it here 😁
THE MOST AMAZING HAITIAN FOOD. BEST GRIOT SERIOUSLY THE BEST. great value for the price Food got better .Delicious. The piklies, spicy Cole slaw is AMAZING

Today I visited Flame cuisine all the way from the Bronx, the food was amazing and the two ladies and the gentleman behind the counter gave impeccable service. They give a lot more food than any other Haitian restaurant I’ve been to. Quality, quantity and excellent staff was A+
Very cool and very nice restaurant that serves West Indian cuisine and Caribbean food which is very good and very tasty food The people who are really nice. This is a very good restaurant. They serve Caribbean very popular for Miss Tin 10. The food is really really nice. Highly recommended this restaurant everybody this is located in Queens Village Jamaica Avenue check out very good restaurant.
This is my first time trying Haitian food ever in life! I let the server know once we started ordering and she immediately smiled and named everything for us and explained what’s in each dish. I told her I had a mushroom allergy because I know it’s prevalent in Haitian food and she let me know what I couldn’t eat. We ultimately ordered a small brown rice and beef, a small black rice and griot (fried pork), a side of Mac and cheese, and two homemade lemonades. Each order came with two tostones and pikliz, which was sooo good and had a little kick to it. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for the griot but it was worth it. She gave me a small piece out of my boyfriend’s order separately so his black rice wouldn’t trigger my allergy. The beef with gravy was flavorful and tender. The Mac and cheese was not really our style, it tasted a little sweet but I’m sure it’s their cultural way to make Mac and cheese so I was still glad I got to try. Their homemade lemonade is made with all natural ingredients, including vanilla. It was different but has a nice sweet taste, really great. They also have seating if you want to relax and eat. All in all I’m glad I tasted Haitian food for the first time at Flanm. 9 out of 10!
Enjoyed my food here, especially the macaroni au Gratin & sos pwa nwa. Staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. They even gave us complementary (breadfruit Shake) we will be back again!
The food is excellent! I had everything from Lalo, fried fish, mai-moulin! I enjoyed everything.
I ordered from uber eats and it’s amazing. Griot was great, rice and beans. Just good eats! I normally only it eat Haitian food from my best friend mom but I told her about this place and it was really good 10/10
The food so good I almost called the police!

Flanm is the only Haitian in Queens Jamaica I go because I love the food. It’s like home. Keep going the good work. Amazing environment

The place is really spacious. They have several different options. The Stew Chicken was really good. For 2 pieces, a leg and thigh for $10 is a bit pricey. The Black Rice was bitter (utter disappointment). The griot had no flavor. Missing seasoning in the meat. I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.
I love this place. It's my favorite Haitian restaurant in Queens. Food is always good. And the people are nice. 😱 That's a rarity. I can always split my food with 2 people, the meat is never dry and the rice is always moist. I come here regularly and I'll continue to do so. One of my top recommendations 🤩

The server was a very nice haitian young lady with a short haircut. She was very personable and funny. Being that my creole isn't the best she walked me thru. The rice and beans as well as the meatballs I ordered all lacked flavor. Even after adding salt to it, just didn't have that haitian home cooked flavor. When in new york again may try them again only due to how nice the server was but in this case a loss of $37.
This was my first time visiting NYC. I ordered from this restaurant the food is good however when you order three different plate and they forget to add your rice and beans. I specifically click on the rice and beans selection to be place with all three orders. Than door dash brought the food to my hotel and left it on the floor unbelievable! I called the restaurant to inquire about the rice and beans professionally conversation but it was not my error at the very least the representative could have said we will send you the rice that is missing, the conversation just seem like it was the customer fault and basically who care. The food great but I will not be ordering anymore especially when you missing items from the customer plate.

I know Haitian service is terrible but i am always shocked by that. I went in to buy food and two ladies were sitting watching tv. When i came to order they both seems very annoyed and bothered by the fact that I was coming in to support the business by buying their food. They laughed and mocked me when I asked questions about portions and were very dismissive and not accommodating at all. I asked for some pikiliz and they had ZERO. How does a Haitian restaurant not serve/have pikiliz. She didnt even attempt to ask the back or go look for me. Now the food. I came once and the food was ok. The food this time was ok. The rice was ok, nothing special. The fried goat was hard and dry and tough. Would i recommend and come here again.... Absolutely NOT Bad attitude for basic food.... I will pass
I’ve never had Haitian food before but I heard it’s really good, so I decided to go to this restaurant. The young lady in the front was so disrespectful she makes it seems like I was bothering her on top of that her armpit was sweating I told her she turn me off and I just walked out. If I’m spending my money at your establishment I need to be treated with respect. ✊

Went in this morning after a long trip out of the country, jet lagged and tired I went into the restaurant looking for lunch menu not realizing the time. I tried to get a good glimpse of what was in the showcase and the server(a light skinned woman wearing a white tee shirt and black head cover) yelled at me “No”. I then asked about the lunch menu and she rudely walked away and said something in creole to the other woman and they both laughed! Extremely poor customer service! The sad part is that someone recommended me to the place, but I will never go back there.
The worst customer service. I waited 10 min for the fried plaintains and when I wanted to order more the server stated “ she had to serve someone else and I would have to wait for another batch to be cooked” she served the other person and there was still plaintains left but she stated she didn’t want to waste it. See the reason why some businesses don’t prosper or grow is because of the non existent customer service. Do better and I won’t be returning. Also notice how they mainly respond to those who post “good reviews”. As an establishment your goal should be to continually improve especially when multiple people have complained about your disgusting staffs attitude.
