Had to give Rudy's 5 stars after having a great meal with my family. I called about 2 hours prior to showing up and I was able to reserve a table for 5. We were seated with no delay and everything was outstanding. My wife and I went for the surf and turf with the prime rib which was cooked perfectly. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and the service was great too!

We came here to celebrate my birthday with a dinner. The Prime Rib was amazing! Nice, quiet ambiance and Atmosphere. Service was great and our waiter Jason was very attentive. At the end of dinner I even got a chocolate mousse sundae! Super decadent and rich and og so yummy! We will definitely be adding this to our restaurant list! Thank you for a great evening!

If you haven’t been to Rudy’s Hideaway they need to be on your list. It’s the perfect place for date night, something fun for the family to try or just an overall wonderful experience. The quality of the food is top notch and you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. We had the king crab, shrimp scampi and prime rib all were fantastic. Looking forward to our next dinner there.

I'm disappointed that I was not aware this place existed and how long it's been 'hidden away' 🫥🦞 The food was amazing! It was an interesting establishment, lighting was a little dark for my eyesight but no biggie. I can't wait to go back and recommend to family/friends.

Amazing little hideaway spot! Didn’t look like much from the outside but man the steak was great! Sourdough at every table is warm and off the charts good! Mmm! Decided on the New York strip steak. Perfectly cooked to my liking. Topped with amazing mushrooms. Side of garlic mash and asparagus. I’m definitely coming back! Also as an appetizer I highly recommend the artichoke & dip! Delicious!!!

The food was luscious. Incredible food, with the largest lobster that I've ever seen. I truly believe that Godzilla had babies. Almost freakish looking. Michael was our server, he was fantastic. Charlie Chaplin met me at the door... I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The best restaurant to bring in the New year.

Came here for my birthday. Everything was perfect, everyone was nice, everyone made me feel special! The acknowledgement I received was personable. Food was perfect! We had the clam chowder, and the prime rib that came with asparagus and potatoes. Their Lemon Drop cocktail was delicious as well. This is definitely a "hideaway" spot! The outside looked bare but when you go inside it's like a new world!

The food is on the higher end. We did go on a Mother's Day and got reservations that day, so that part was nice. They had a very small menu selection for the day. We couldn't even get regular foods. I didn't see a menu change online before we went or maybe would have chosen a different day to come. We ended up with The prime rib. It was absolutely cooked perfectly, although a tad bland. Very minimal seasoning. It was a large portion though! The calamari was amazing as always. The clam chowder this time was so full of sand we couldn't eat it. The only other bummer was that we were sat at the table in front of the host station and door. So every 3 seconds, bright light and wind would take us out of the ambiance of the beautiful restaurant we were in. All in all, we will be back as we normally love this place, but NOT on a holiday!

We came to have dinner for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The food was good but the service was not. While having our meal, not once were we asked if we needed anything or offered additional bread. Not once did we get a refill on our drinks. The waiter was not friendly until he brought the check. I don’t expect bells and whistles, but a simple greeting would’ve been nice.

This was my 1st time ever eating there. I had heard a lot of good things about Rudy's. I wished someone would have told me not to order the steak. I had the Filet and Lobster. The lobster was amazing, the steak on the other hand, not so good. I ordered 2 of the the same thing. One for me and one for my lady. I ordered then both medium. My came out over cooked and hers was undercooked. I know they got the order right because I had the medium identifiers that they put on the steak when they bring it to you. Eventually the assistant server came around and asked how everything was. I showed him my steak and asked him how do you think this was cooked, his response was medium well. Then the same question for my lady's steak, he said medium rare. I told him I ordered then both medium. He did ask if I wanted my steak replaced with another one. I replied no thank you. Everything else we had was good. After I shared my experience with some people that frequent the place, they informed me that they don't ever order the steak, and that they go for the seafood. I love a good surf and turf and unfortunately Rudy's let me down.

Last month 3 of us from out of town wanted to dine at Rudy's. I have been eating there since the early 80s when I lived in Sacramento. I have always loved the 16oz lobster, where the waiter removed the large lobster from the shell in front of us. To our dismay, we received a small lobster, about 5-6 oz. flattened like a pancake and served on top of a shell. I do not like to complain, but this was surely a small flat lobster tail, sold as a 14-16 oz. tail. I mentioned our disappointment to our waiter, but did not make a big deal of it. He was very nice and seemed a bit embarrassed. So, for $105. each, we received a small, flat lobster tail. We left him a $100. tip, as it was not his fault. I hope that ownership and management will address this. It was not a mistake

Went for King crab legs, which a couple years ago were $95 now apparently are $189 so instead got the surf and turf. Asked for medium well, and came rare with blood and fully pink inside. Salad looks like it came from a plastic bag and was wilted already. Butter tasted like chlorine and did not look like melted butter at all. Best part was when we asked for straws. She brought unwrapped straws with her bare hand, and set them on the table instead of handing to us. If you’re looking for a quality and sanitary experience, I would suggest elsewhere.😬
