Hands down the best Persian food I’ve had in awhile!! Service was amazing! Food was top notch! Just wish they had the green the famous green sauce they give at the other Persian restaurants. But other than that please check them out! You will leave with a belly full of goodness!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Truthfully anything on the menu is great, but I keep going back for the Aldaani plate!! Amazing!! The ambiance and customer service are top tier. The food is superior to any Persian restaurant I’ve ever been to prior. I’ve come back 2 days in a row and had the same amazing service with Roshan. I’ll definitely be back.

We came here on Christmas, and I couldn't be happier about that decision! They had someone playing the piano while we ate. Our server, Roshan, was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu (helpful for me, as it was my first time here). I ordered the Barg, my friend ordered the chicken kabob. Both were 10/10! The restaurant is clean, classy, and efficient. The food is next level delicious. And the service is spectacular. This was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

It's my 5th visit here, food is so delicious and flavourful. I tried different dishes every time. Miss Roshan is so polite and served us so nicely. In dessert they have saffron ice cream which is my favorite and their baklavas are best.

I came to this place back in June for my graduation. I haven’t had the time to write a review until today, but I find it important to give a special shoutout to Roshan. Graduation is a huge milestone, and while the day didn’t unfold exactly how I had imagined, Roshan truly made it special. In a moment where I felt a little overlooked, she noticed. She looked me in the eye, asked me what flavor ice cream I wanted, and made it clear that my graduation mattered and was worth celebrating. That small but intentional gesture meant more to me than she probably realized. There was live music. She even went out of her way to let the musician know that we were celebrating a graduation and had a celebratory song played. She also brought graduation napkins out for me that had “she believe she could so she did” written on it. It was such a thoughtful, kind act. An act that turned the entire experience around for me and made me feel appreciated on a day that was really important. Service like this is rare. Roshan didn’t just do her job, she led with empathy and care, and I’ll always remember that. Thank you for making my graduation feel seen and celebrated. I think about this moment often and hope Roshan is doing amazing and feels just as appreciated as she made me feel 🤎 Food was, of course, amazing! I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area again, for the food, the service and welcoming atmosphere.

Traveling Bites

This is one of my favourite restaurants in the Sacramento region! It’s consistently good! We always bring friends and family when they visit. I love the Koobideh/Spicy Koobideh combo (so juicy) and the Lubia Polow…and so many other dishes on the menu. My best friend from LA is Persian, and the food here just reminds me of her Moms amazing cooking and all the Persian family parties we would go to. I’m so glad we found this place up here. The food presentation here is also so beautiful and nice portions! If you come on certain nights they even have someone playing the piano. AJ and Shawn, and all the other staff here are always so kind and welcoming!

Great place for some fine dining with Persian cuisine. Service is a little slow, cause it looks like they have only a couple of wait staff. However, the food totally makes up for it, great flavors, and very authentic served in authentic plates too.

The food was amazing, large portions, and very friendly and excellent servers! We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back! The two lunch specials we ordered were very good and plentiful (chicken saltani, beef kubideh), and the fesenjan stew was phenomenal! The ambiance was nice and there's plenty of comfortable seating. Such a gem and we're happy to have discovered this restaurant!

The food, service and setting are on point. I took my wife here for her birthday and it was the right choice to make. Ajay provided us wonderful service and Mo played happy birthday on the piano and it was beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone considering this place.

I had lunch at Shahrzad Fine Persian Cuisine near Sacramento and tried the lamb kabobs with beef koobideh, rice, and Shirazi salad. Everything was well-cooked and tasted good. The lamb was tender and the koobideh had nice flavor. The place was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean too, but it would be better if they had automatic faucets or soap dispensers. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d come back again.

I visited Shahrzad Restaurant in Sacramento, and it truly serves the best Persian food I’ve ever had in California. No other restaurant even comes close. The dishes were beautifully presented, full of authentic flavor, and absolutely delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

We had the best experience with Shahrzad Restaurant for our family funeral service. The quality of the food was exquisite, and the delivery was perfectly on time. Every dish was prepared perfectly, not too oily or overcooked. It was just right. Our guests from other states could not get enough and spoke highly about the food. Special thank you to the manager, Pejman, for his excellent time management, organization, and professionalism. Your team helped make a difficult day a little easier, and we are truly grateful. ✨

Soli is nice, last server was quick to deliver food, felt impatient, other waiter too k my plate even though I was still eating my baklava but it’s ok. Patience is key, everything else was excellent, love the piano, love the food!

MASHA ALLAH very impressive. Food, service, taste, ambience. I highly reccomend bbq skewers like kobedeh, Adana kabab is probably the best. Flavors are on spot. Never had such good fresh saffron rice. I'd love to have a persian fresh made dessert option. Area to improve. The servers are no where to be found unless they come to the table. Having one person in the hall that customers can spot n ask for anything needed it would make it the best.
