Lovely harbour lake bar/restaurant. Called for a drink. Friendly staff, felt welcome. Lovely free treats to accompany the drinks. Would recommend. Can't comment on food itself as didn't eat.
Absolutely stunning! I like this bar since 2014. The staffs are highly professional, foods good, and excellent ambiance !!
This bar is open daily and is a great spot for a quick snack. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is always fresh and tasty. Perfect for a casual stop any day of the week.
The view is absolutely stunning. You sit next to the lake and can enjoy from the sun and the view of nice small boats sailing on the lake. The young staff is kind and professional. Drinks were good and we had a good meringue cake. We will certainly go back.
Views are great of the lake. They give you nibbles with your drinks and the food does not look too bad either! They have live music on a Thursday evening, but it's packed... People get boats there across the lake. I even canoed there. Beers are expensive, but wine is reasonably priced, same across Italy as far as I can tell. The local rose was great chilled in the evening sun/sunset.

The location is super especially in the summer. If it rains they have an area where you can sit inside. Small parking.

Great location yes but you will need to step up with services. Just takes too long to order and get a drink. Become more professional. Change from average to good. Good for your customers, good for your business.

Nice place by the lake, but service no good. The wine was oxidized and the new wine nerver arrived. The meny was not so interesting either.
Only one nice thing about the place is the location, shame that this is what attracts people to go there. The food is literally the worst food I have ever had in my life, also for my Italian husband. And I am not even over exaggerating. You would think it's impossible to have bad food in Italy, but it is possible. We literally had the pasta swimming in the water on our plate, absolutely disgusting. The service is terrible too, initially, it took forever to get served. Then we finally managed to get served (after asking numerous waiters to come), and they only look annoyed. Once we got our drinks, one of the waiters spilled a glass all over me and my baby's pram. The beer went everywhere. Noone came to clean it up. I had to use my baby wipes to try to clean my baby's pram. I had to throw my shoes away because they were covered in beer and i could not clean it. The beer went over our cutlery and also in our drinks. I had to ask them to bring new drinks and new cutlery as noone was taking initiative to clean up, nor even apologise! Mamma mia i wanted to leave but we had already ordered the food. Terrible terrible service. I am telling everyone not to go there. It is not worth it. If you want to go to a cafe on the water, go to Angera or Ispra, never go here. This is coming from both me and my Italian husband.
Such a pity! How to waste a beautiful location like the one that the Molo di Ranco has. The staff are rude and arrogant and take a long time to get even just a bottle of water and glasses, waiting for the much food, bottles of wine and coktayls we had ordered 30 minutes earlier. The rude waitress prevented her colleagues from serving us water and glasses because we had prompted her after the first 10 minutes of waiting. Finally the food and wine arrived after 50 minutes of waiting while we were eaten by mosquitoes .. a nightmare!
Once again really poor service. We arrived at 16:50 after struggling to get parking. My wife and friend were dropped off earlier and after 20 minutes even tho we were seen by the waiter, no interest in service. We moved on. This is the 3rd and last time and we are locals
