Never would I have though this situation of 6' Apart and not being able to buc up to the bar. This to shall pass! The Food is Still Fantastic and you can sit outside and enjoy the Town Atmosphere.

I have been going to the Tap Room since I was a child. I had the fish fry and pea soup which of course was amazing.

A great place! A 1 minute walk to boat launch, library or Post Office. Enjoy the locals and endless hiking trails. Peaceful easy feeling with beautiful views and bring a camera- stunning sunrise and sunsets.

We stopped here with friends while in the area. GREAT place! We enjoyed a couple of hours here, highly recommend you add this stop to your itinerary if you are in the area! (I also left my debit card there, and they were quick to get it mailed back to me - which was very much appreciated!) GREAT PEOPLE!

The best place for breakfast in Raquette Lake. Probably the only place, but that doesn't mean it isn't GREAT! Good menu selection, freshly prepared. Everyone has a great sense of humor (Hi Liz!). Very enjoyable.

We went for drinks and conversation. The staff was friendly as were the customers. We did not have food, but others were enjoying their meals.

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and we were impressed by the menu, especially the daily specials. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful, answering our questions about the region. Food was very good. We plan to return for a "lunch out" during our winter vacations in North River.

This was my home away from home when I worked in the area and I think I had pretty much everything on the menu. Everything was always great, phenomenal service and good strong drinks. Off the highway enough to be mostly locals and seasonal locals with multi generational family history, but still a welcoming to the newcomer.

Service is good, not great but time shouldn't matter when visiting Raquette lake. Great bloody Mary's if you are hitting them up in morning and a decent selection for food and appetizers. Definitely worth a stop.

This was a great stop. Friendly people. Great discussion. They had World Cup game on. Next time I will stay longer.

Cute little pub in the small Adirondack town of Raquette Lake. It is open year round. The food is regular fare at a decent price. They do take cards but only with transactions over $10.

Old time Adirondack hotel. No phones, no TV, no A/C.. Tap room serves great food. Friendly staff.

Went by snowmobile. Nice ride tomato bisque was good waitress was a hoot- I think she was tired, kept forgetting stuff, but was ok about us asking where our stuff was, some people hate to be asked. Anyway, would probably go again.

Friendly local bar

Extremely inexpensive rooms. Very country atmosphere. Quaint little saloon with quick bites to eat. Nice drawings and sketches of customers decorate the walls. Tattoos are welcomed.

The food was good but the name Taproom was very misleading. They only had one beer on tap. Everything else was in a bottle or can.

Bathrooms are horriffic. Bartender is less than desireable. It’s as if their doing you a favor by being their!

The bartender was so rude. complaining that she can't wait for the Labor Day weekend to be over..and it wasn't just us she was being rude to, on the boat ride everyone was complaining how rude she was. Hope she has a better day today.
