8 thumbs up! We had our very first Chicken Shack experience and all 4 loved it. The chicken was really tender and juicy. The fries are really good, but super skinny (not good on day 2). The loaded fries were great with super yummy gravy. They have a good price and generous portions. You should check it out!

I ordered chicken strips and fries. They have a huge variety of sauces. My son ordered the Korean boneless wings. Absolutely hit the spot yesterday. We ordered immediately and sat in a very clean and nice atmosphere while waiting. Our food was brought out shortly and talk about phenomenal chicken!! This place is it!!

Great fried chickens, etc! We ordered the following today: - Chicken wings was not bad with 80% of them juicy + tender and 20% slightly dry. The two flavors we picked were bad, however, being the Buffalo and Cajun. We tried Mango Habanero and Ghost Pepper as dipping sauce later and found them to be much tastier!! Ghost Pepper claims to be 10/10 heat, and Mango Habanero 7/10, although none of us (even kids who don't like spicy food) found them not very spicy at all. - Fried chicken tenders were nice, juicy white meat. - Garlic fries were nice - Fried chicken salad was great with juicy chicken breast and fresh veggies, even served with bacons, avocado, cherry tomatoes and deep fried onion straws. Recommend!

If you only have time for fast food, but want something new. Great new option! Even though the food wasn’t really the best I’ve ever had, it was very refreshing. Set up like a fast food chain, the food took no time to get. They take care to keep a clean lobby, friendly staff, and food that presents really well. Also menu has what you would expect from a place that sells chicken, but also branches out a little bit into the wild side of food creations you have never tried.

Great customer service, super friendly. Great tasting chicken, the strips are a lot bigger than what you'd get at KFC or Popeyes. The amount of sauce choices is awesome and they all taste great. Generally everything is hand prepped. Great place to bring friends and family to. I will say that the burger patties could be a bit bigger, so if you're looking for a big burger, this isn't the spot, but they still taste great

Wow. This place deserves way more than 5 stars. I got the classic Home salad and I've never been so impressed with such a basic meal. Everything was fresh, chicken was perfect and tasty. The amount you get is very filling. I had trouble finishing it, and if it wasn't so good I definitely wouldn't have. Only complaint is the current discomfort of being so full from such a tasty meal. 😋

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Since it was bought out and completely restructured, the food, atmosphere, staff, and overall quality has dramatically improved. It is still small inside but has a great atmosphere and lots of seating outside in their covered courtyard with patio lights and a mister system. Staff is great, prices are very reasonable, food is beyond amazing and of higher quality, and the speed at which we received our food today was unbelievably quick. Less than 5 minutes! We got our drinks, sat down, and boom, it was there almost immediately. Overall an A+++ experience!

Love the atmosphere! We ate dinner outside on the patio around 6:30pm and it was so nice and relaxing. I do hope they get misters for the hot summer evenings though. The new fencing was attractive and gave the outdoor space a more friendly and welcoming vibe. Our food was delicious and the customer service spot on. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

I’ve been going to chicken shack on average once a month for the last year. I was excited to see that the new menu was up so I stopped by today and I have to say, I LOVE the new chicken strips. The old ones were decent but you could tell they were pretty much only seasoned with salt, and they could be chewy sometimes. The new ones have a much more complex seasoning and I love the breading wayyy better than before. The chicken strips are much bigger, more moist, and more fresh tasting than before too, probably thanks to their never-frozen policy. Love the interior decor (doesn’t feel like an actual shack anymore!) and patio space. Only down-side was that they now serve a smaller portion of fries with your meal. As far as the sauces, I was sad to see some of my favorites leave, like the old honey mustard and spicy ranch. Today I tried their agave mustard and shire sauce. Agave mustard is really good but after a few bites it’s a bit overpowering because it’s quite tangy. Had to switch it out for ranch quite a bit. The shire sauce had good flavor but I felt it was too heavy/thick for dunking strips...maybe would be better on a sandwich. Overall I’m giving this place a 5 star rating because I love the new concept and the taste of the food. Can’t wait to try the chicken and waffles once they’re available. (they don’t have their full menu yet since they’re in a soft opening). If you didn’t love it before, definitely go check it out now!

Southern comfort food, done right. We always stop here on our way through Reading and it has not disappointed us yet. The wings are a great value, order sauce on the side and assembling them ourselves when we get home. The tenders are huge, one or two is a filling meal! They always wear their masks and gloves. Friendly and courteous staff is patient and helpful, they will explain the menu and your options. They do quite a bit to go orders and there seems to be a regular stream of people quickly served. The waffles a great left over for morning breakfast :-)

They have a wide variety of wing flavors to choose from,. The place has a good vibe to it and the people tendind the place are always in a good mood to take your order and answer any questions you might have. The place was clean & in good order. Also their fries are really good too.

We love Chicken Shack! The best chicken spot in Redding hands down. The food is very high quality and consistent. The staff are always friendly and smiling. Never an issue with customizing an order. If you setup for pickup you can just walk in and grab it. Support your local business and eat here!

First time here and i had the chicken and waffle. It had a bourbon maple syrup and the waffle was a bacon and chive waffle. The chicken breast was juicy and flavorful as well. I also had the garlic fries.. It was so amazing! I would recommend u come try this place! They also serve alcohol which is a plus!! We had soft serve ice cream cones for desert.

Tried the buffalo chicken loaded fries at this chicken shack and they were awesome! The taste was spot on — fresh, crispy fries loaded with flavorful buffalo chicken and plenty of blue cheese to tie it all together. Everything tasted super fresh, and the portion was generous too.

The customer service was amazing. If you haven't tried their BBQ Chicken Salad, I highly recommend that you do.

Great chicken and great fries! I like going here whenever I'm in town. Fountain sodas are outrageously priced though (over $3.00), so watch out for that. Definitely go to the Churn Creek location, it's the best! You guys need to bring a shop to the Portland, Or area and teach them how to do fried chick right.

I must admit, I am a bit disappointed that I did not get a picture of this amazing food sooner. I took one bite and one thing led to another, I would bet money I didn’t even chew. Mimi’s Southern BBQ Sandwich touched my lips and it was as if a million explosions went off in a chain reaction, firing all taste buds which let to the inhalation of said sandwhich before I even noticed. A year ago I didn’t care for your chicken much, the bread sweeted to easy and fell off which ruins anyones experience with a breaded chicken entree. BUT, I do not know what you guys have done. Seems like you are literally the ONLY food establishment inside of Redding that got better with the pandemic, rather than falling apart miserably and unable to even get the simplest of orders correctly like most out there still to this day. Bravo, keep it up, do not change a thing!

Chicken wings and chicken strips heaven! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Their habanero mango and Korean sauces are simply divine! One of the best anywhere.

Stopped here for lunch and had a Mimi's bbq chicken & waffle sandwich it was so good I wish I lived closer so I could try more menu items I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town great food & reasonably priced. Service was excellent!!!

1st time, I've been back in bout 2 years and very pleased with how delicious the strips are now. Chciken still tastes so fresh and tender, but now was just 1000x better than previous visits! Even the picky kid said it's now his fav chicken.

Had the Mother Clucker at Chicken Shack for the first time today and I was so impressed I had to write a review. The service was fast and friendly, the chicken was amazing and perfectly cooked. It was moist and juicy and just all around delicious. I will definitely be back!

I just wanted to come on here and say that I went to get food around 30 minutes to close and there was a group of very rude customers that came in and started trying to pull down chairs and demanding the staff to do so for them when they were preparing to close the girl that was working handled the situation very well and respectfully despite there rude remarks I just want to give her a thumbs up. Love the staff here.

I eat here for lunch quite often. The food is really good. The staff are always very attentive and polite. I do feel, however, the tables are always as little sticky or tacky. Other than that, great place to eat.

We were staying in Redding, California and this is the second time we’ve eaten at this specific place great food and the staff was very friendly with basically no wait time.

Amazing waffle, delicious chicken, a must-visit if you are I'm the area. My waffle was light and fluffy. It perfectly complimented the chicken and gravy.

We have been waiting for them to reopen with their new menu and I can not rave enough about this place! Everything looked and tasted absolutly delicious!!! What a great spin in Chicken and Waffles! We very much enjoyed every bite of our food. The strips are crispy and tasty the garlic fries were hot and seasoned well and a large enough serving for us to share and "the Mother Clucker" chicken and waffle sandwich was everything my husband could have hoped for. The prices are a bit on the high side but everything is well worth the price. I would suggest this place to ANYONE. We look forward to trying the wings next and pretty much everything else on the menu.

I never leave reviews for restaurants, but I absolutely had to make an exception for this place it’s that good. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-notch. The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff truly went above and beyond. We were lucky enough to be helped by a young lady named Ryan, and let me just say she was incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful when it came to picking out what to order. Her recommendations were spot-on! I had the house salad with their homemade bleu cheese dressing (honestly the best I’ve ever had), and my husband went with the “Mother Clucker” which he’s still raving about. If you’re looking for great food, outstanding service, and an all-around amazing dining experience, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Huge thumbs up from us we’ll definitely be back!

This is the best new restaurant in Redding. (It's a total rebrand for those who remember the previous shop). The combination of flavors on their chicken and waffle is to die for. The sandwiches are the most inventive and balanced I've seen in Redding, and the entire menue is inspired, from the buffalo loaded chicken fries to the large salads for those who are herbaceously inclined. First, the chicken and waffle: The breading is on point perfection, the chicken is incredibly tender, and it comes on a bacon chive waffle that is a *(raised dough!)* recipe for a delicious texture and taste. Best of all, it comes with a pecan and cinnamon butter and a bourbon maple syrup option that is the final touch to an amazingly versatile dish. The salt, fat, acid, crisp and doughy and tender are all off the charts. Next I tried the chicken and waffle sandwich: the Mimi's southern BBQ comes with fried chicken, Mimi's personal barbecue recipe, cheddar, coleslaw, bacon, and crispy onion straws all between two waffles for a once again perfect texture. Third, the Mr. Crispy is a powerhouse sandwich with chili honey, coleslaw and dill pickles. Fourth, the 5-piece chicken tenders + fries are huge 6oz pieces of heavenly golden fried chicken on nicely crispy shoestring fries with house-made dipping sauces as creative as a spicy Korean, mango habanero, ghost pepper, and a variety of others. What sets this restaurant apart is that just about everything you eat is made in-house, which is what takes food to the next level in a fast casual restaurant experience. -I'm just glad they found a way to have this much excellence at this kind of price. Seriously, the head chef knows how balance all these factors and they're doing it perfectly. This is why in my book the new Chicken Shack is the best restaurant in Redding right now.

This is a must visit location for the best chicken in Redding California. I prefer this to Chick-fil-A although I would say Chick-fil-A is a close second. The staff at Chicken shack is friendly, professional, and fast. It's surprisingly quiet great place :) After a couple of long drives and a full-on shopping mission in Redding, I stopped at The Chicken Shack — and this place seriously delivered. I ordered the Buffalo Loaded Chicken Fries (held the bleu cheese), and it was exactly what I needed: crispy fries, juicy fried chicken bites, buffalo + ranch drizzle, and fresh chives. It was high-protein, super filling, and honestly kept me going the rest of the night — perfect for a shopping-heavy day. Shoutout to the woman working the front counter — she was incredibly friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted. You could tell she actually cared about helping people enjoy their meal, and that made the whole visit feel even better. Another unexpected highlight? The drink station. I loved being able to mix soda water with a splash of flavor — it gave me a refreshing, low-calorie option that still felt like a treat. It’s awesome that they offer so many smart drink choices alongside the food. Definitely one of the best setups I’ve seen for customizing your own drink. The place was surprisingly quiet when I arrived, which was crazy to me considering how good the food is. Fantastic chicken wings! Taste great and portion/price is good. There wings would be $30 in bay area but only $17-20 here. The sandwich & burger portions are huge too. Salads are great, hella chicken, avocado for only $13! $13! All the other chicken dishes are good, nothing too special. Overall would recommend!

If you are hungry and traveling on I5 this is a must stop. They have a great selection of chicken sandwiches, load fries, buffalo wings, and chicken tenders. I got the Mother clucker waffle sandwich, and Mango BBQ loaded fries. The Mother clucker waffle sandwich ,was very tasty but messy. It comes with bacon, an egg and their home made gravy. The seasoning on these chicken was awesome vey flavorful you can taste the seasoning. The home made gravy was a white gravy and it went well with the chicken and the waffle. I also got the loaded Mango BBQ fries. It came with cut up chicken tenders on it with melted cheese their special sauce a mango bbq sauce wish wasn’t that spicy and bacon bits. I loved them.

Wow! Remodeling the inside, outside signage, and menu catapults Chicken Shack to a "must visit" landmark in REDDING. Fresh and clever, the menu goes way beyond fries, wings & tenders! I had the "Mother Clicker" upon recommendation of the super friendly, may I say, 'happy, glad to be there' employee. A waffle chicken sandwich creation toting bacon, fried egg, cheese and gravy. The waffle was, honestly, the best plain, all American, unpretentious waffle I've ever eaten. It worked! I can't wait to return again. Lots of original, "the only place you'll find it" selections. The basic fries were pretty basic. I should have gone with one of the fries upsell choices. I will next time. And my picture will come before the meal is half gone! Will be repeating this meal stop!

Very good chain restaurant that is a lot better than the standard chains everyone is used to. Had a “mother clicker”. Basically fried chicken and waffles with gravy and a fried egg. It tasted good and filled me up. It’s a little pricy for a chain but I’d say overall it’s worth it. Food doesn’t come with fries and that was a downside I’m not used to. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat I’d recommend it.

Really like their food but the buffalo fries we normally get were a smaller portion than normal. Slightly disappointing but still really good. Excited for them to get their new liquor license and be able to serve beer on their porch.

UPDATED: Chicken Shack's menu pictures are updated now, and my boyfriend said their sauce and the chicken tenders we ordered were decent. So I'm updating my review to reflect that. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The app is easy to use, the staff was nice, those 2 things are the only reason I'm giving them any stars. I ordered their fried pickles because the picture online shows them specifically cut and fried as well battered spears. Which is the ONLY way I like them. Unfortunately, when I got my to go order home (about 3 minutes after getting my food) I found they were sliced as long chips, barely battered, and super soggy.

I only ate her once. The chicken tasted fresh and cooked perfectly and the breading was tasty. It's pretty much the best place in town for chicken. I do think their french fries were pretty basic, but not bad. It's a little uncomfortable in there. I would get it to go if that bothers you.

Chicken is always really juicy and soft but the amount of salt they put in my loaded gravy fries today was crazy. I called and complained and they're gonna fix it but it was unstable. Foods good normally but nvr great. Super fast service though and friendly. The wallpaper really set the fun vibe!

The food here is always good. Today was no exception. However, my partners sandwich was missing the sauce it comes with(which kinda makes it) , and my fries were totally cold when they were served. Both things could've easily been fixed if we'd spoken up, but we were in a hurry. No big deal, but that's the reason for the 4 star.

Nice stop for chicken sandwiches, waffles and fries. They say the food is made to order and it may be a wait but our food was out in perfect time. Bonus points for the Gluten free bun! Unfortunately I couldn’t eat the fries as they aren’t GF friendly but other than that the naked chicken sandwich and apple slaw was delicious.

This is the new Chicken Shack being reviewed here. I had the chicken wings and they aren't anything like the old version, which isn't a bad thing. I thought they were very flavorful and the sauce was delicious. The fries are pretty much the same (very good). The inside of the restaurant looks nice and clean. Next time I'll have to try the chicken and waffle.

I wanted to leave 5 stars and still really want to, this place has good quality cuts of chicken, friendly staff, good atmosphere, beer on tap, KETO option!!! The sandwiches taste great along with the salad and sauce options. My only suggestion for improvement would be on the chicken tenders, it just seemed like it was missing something in the breading when fried, some more spices or salt would greatly improve the taste. I still happily go there and recommend it! Hope to leave a 5 star review in the future. P.S. get the waffle sandwiches for dine in, they get a little soft if ordered take out.

love it love it love it everytime i go i get the habanero bbq fries and they are bomb af but one little thing i’ve noticed is that the chicken itself is always like.. dry? i doubt it’s a lack of sauce or anything because everything else is delicious and crispy the outside of the chicken is sauced marvelously but.. the chicken itself is dry i don’t know if this is a common theme for any other items on the menu or if maybe that’s what the kinda chicken they was goin for ( god i hope not) but everytime i’ve gotten my deliciously scrumptious glory filled heaven ascending fries my chicken is dry… im still gonna go regardless cause i don’t think i can live without these fries i just thought it was kinda silly

March 14, 2023 - en route to Arizona. It was raining today on a BIBLICAL level. I was hankering for fried chicken for an inexplicable reason. It was a sleepy Tuesday afternoon so we were greeted immediately by the friendly young lady at the register. After explaining our first visit, she had suggestions from the menu. I settled on the entree: buttermilk fried chicken on bacon-cheddar-chive waffles with gravy, brown sugar butter, and bourbon maple syrup. One waffle received the brown sugar butter, bourbon maple syrup, the other was pure gravy fun. A random patron who was in the middle of a Grub Hub run chatted me up while he waited then awarded me the "kind listening ear reward". A just like that we had consumed our meal, and needed to keep truckin' to Arizona.

Our first time here and it was pretty tasty. The only miss was their Angry Mac n Cheese. Came out and only a minute went by before we took a bite and it was cold. We both ordered The chicken and waffle entree and what a variety of flavors! Sweet and Salty and the chicken was great. Order came out very quick. Cant wait to come back!

This rating is purely on service. I went there to pick up an order and it was empty. The server comes out from behind the counter and just drops the bag in my hand. No have a nice day. No hope so see you soon. Delivery drivers are potential customers. I was looking at menu before that and thinking my husband and I should try this place out. I don't think we will. I was a server for over 20 years and I knew which side my bread was buttered on. No customers, No tips and No job!

The staffs attitudes here were disappointing. The two girls working there were quite snobby and made me feel uncomfortable. Even though the food was decent, their behavior really affected my overall experience.

The food is good, but the indoor eating area needs some help. All the tables are sticky. Seems to be a problem with the finish on the tables. It's gross having your arms stick to the tables. Also, there were a ton of flies we had to keep shooing away. I'll probably go back but won't eat inside again.

The food tasted mediocre. The people who work there were extremely nice. The food was just average. It wasn't that good.

The food is decent but it's extremely hot and stuffy inside. I asked them if they have the AC on and they said they don't know. And then ask them if they have the ventilation turned on and they said they don't know..

TL;DR Food tastes good, a bit pricey and definitely not the old Chicken Shack This is not the Chicken Shack you know! This place was recently bought from the owners and revamped and it is.. pretty good (3.5 stars if I could) They serve waffle cones, chicken and waffles, chicken fries, and more. Since the revamp they have added so many great things to the menu and so far I have not found anything I don't like. Now for the complaints. First issue I had, it seemed each weekend I went they kept shrinking the plate size. I don't believe the size matches the price. I believe this goes along with the new hipster-y look however, gotta pay for the reclaimed antique barn wood somehow. The other complaint I have is the miscommunication that occurred when they first reopened. Me and some friends came back every weekend to try the new menu and each weekend we were told it would be available by the next weekend. Only to come back the next weekend and repeat the cycle. Final thoughts: Would I recommend this place? Maybe a couple times just to try it because the food is genuinely good. However, it is not a go to for weekend hangouts for the reasons I touched above. I hope to see them find their footing so I can come back and update my review.

When did it become okay for employees to be rude to guests? My husband and I were in the parking lot getting ready to turn into the handicapped section when a gal with long dark hair came speeding into the lot. Needless to say she had to swerve to miss hitting us and gave us the finger. We talked to the Manager on duty and he informed us that he would talk to her. Guess we’re old school thinking that she would have came out to apologize! With that kind of disrespect we won’t be back.

First time eating here. Ordered 2 house salads for takeout. Salads were good, BUT WAYYYYY too much red onions and cherry tomatoes. Literally over 1/4 of the salad was red onion & tomatoes. If you order definitely ask for lite on the red onion. IDK if we'll go back. Dills Deli salads are same price, little bigger and in my opinion better..... just sayin'

Awesome staff, but the food was sub par. It came out hella dry and stale and I had to request new chicken. Then it came out and it was much better but I got those chicken strips that have that tendon in them which always kinda kills the vibe of a good chicken strip….. fun environment in there tho, the employees seemed like they were being treated well and having fun

We ordered and had just filled my daughters drink and we took 3 steps to the table and our order was ready.... Not even 2-3mins. Never had food so fast. The fries were floppy and old, chicken tenders were barely warm. We barely made it out of parking lot and i ate a fry so its not like it was from the drive home. I used to love chicken shack. We'll go with i caught you at a bad time or bad day, but maybe next time at least warm up the fries please

The old chicken shack had GREAT FOOD but the place needed a good deep cleaning. The “new chicken shack” has great atmosphere, a slightly altered menu, but unfortunately they have made mistakes in several of my recent orders. They always try to make it up to us with gift cards but it’s still very frustrating. Hopefully they get it together. 🤞🏼

I've eaten here many times, I usually get the same order each time, loaded fries, and most of the time the order is correct and good. However sometimes they choose to make my order truly disgusting. The loaded fries come with BBQ sauce, and occasionally they like to put such an ungodly amount of bbq sauce that it saturates every piece of food in the container until it is soggy and contains enough spice to subdue 3 elephants. At this point I believe it to be a prank when I order this meal.

Stopped in Redding for the night and thought this was *The* Chicken Shack chain restaurant which has the same exact same font as the sign on the building. Was disappointed to realize when I arrived that it wasn't. It appears that they took over an old building of theirs or something. Ordered the 8 piece strip basket for $20 which feels overpriced considering they are not large strips by any stretch. Got Mac and Brussels as the two sides. Mac was mediocre with some garlic. Brussels were dripping with grease but somehow burnt and soggy at the same time. Weird that so much food for that price and doesn't come with a drink. Cookie was on the larger side but made two days ago and $3.31 after tax also seems steep. Overall, meh.

$20 for 3 deep fried chicken pieces and a small drink. Chicken had very little flavor. The girl taking my order had zero personality, didn't look me in the eyes, and mumbled to the point I could barely hear her. Then my order was just plopped on the counter without anyone calling my name. I sat there for a while before realizing the bag on the empty counter was actually mine. Not impressed with the food or service. 1st time here. I will not be coming back...

Chicken wings have no batter and taste baked. Photo shows fried chicken with a batter on it. The crispy Brussel sprouts were soggy and had been sitting over time. Nothing about them were crispy. When I talked to the employee about the food not fitting the description or photo he stated “I hear that a lot” and did nothing about the poor quality of the food.

The cook I keep getting at this location should be replaced. He's not able to cook chicken or fries properly. I gave up coming here. Had to return my food. Wish I took a picture.

Super Bowl Sunday made an online order right when they opened to be picked up at 1 pm. We picked the wings up and brought home to our hungry group. Wow. Dried out , hard and tasted like grease. Called the store and no answer but they have a message that says leave a message for the manager, so I did. No return call. Ok maybe they were too busy. Monday afternoon, still no call. I called the store, same message so I left ANOTHER message for the manager as the recording stated, still no call. Well you lost a good customer. Your service and product are not the same as it used to be and no respect from your management. Buh bye Chicken Shack.

1st time here and went for wings, and they were clean out. This wasn't the problem tho. It was customer service. Listening to the cooks talk about how they hate their jobs and hate having to cook wings and talking negatively about customers. And the cashier's attitude about having to even take our order. Didn't really feel comfortable ordering food with how negative this people were. Who knows what they are doing to it. This place needs some work on customer service.

I'm sorry to report but this place turned from great to never going back. The chicken wings used to be great! WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT? Now it taste like over cooked chicken with no seasoning. The fries took a hit too, they're completely different. They are standard regular compared to the shoestring fries. Also, they offer only about a quarter of the sauces they used to have. Big bummer! The menu changed as well for it took a turn for the worst. We USED to LOVE this place. Why all the changes when it used to be perfect. We're a bummed family.

They literally don’t understand the meaning of well cooked. Third time my chicken is pink. I’m sick of saying it and requesting it. Stop cooking for the same amount. Of Time u usually cook it when someone asks for WELL DONE. some of us folks Don’t like raw meat. I’m done going here.

I ordered veggie sticks as a side and they looked like they were at least a week and an half old! I can’t believe that an employee actually put those in my bag.

Not even gonna go into the times I’ve disliked the quality of food, but I came in just now for a to go order, i placed it there. When I came back in from checking on my pet in the vehicle I waited in line for the other customers as you should. And as I got up to the counter the worker walked away to the back and I stood there for at least 5 minutes(not exaggerating) then I waited at the counter to pick up my food and I heard them just hanging out in the back as I’m waiting at the counter, already paid. They didn’t come up to ask if I was helped or needed anything till after I rang the bell?

Been here so many times and loved the changes when they first happened. Seems like lately they are only concerned with raising the prices and dropping the quality and customer service. Purchased an order of 9 wings for $15.49 - that’s wings only - no fries no side - no drink. That’s almost $2 a wing - and when it was delivered to my table it had only wings - no drumsticks. I asked the gentleman who dropped it off and his response was “Ohh, well it’s random we just throw whatever in the fryer and that’s what you get.” And then he walked away. Not to mention that the majority of the wings looked a little pink - put the last few were inedible. This was most likely the last straw - not the first time the food was blah and the customer service 👎🏼

The last three times I have ordered from here in a row (hoped it was just bad luck), my chicken and garlic fries have come undercooked and soggy, and I live less than a mile away so it’s not just travel time in those boxes. It’s always been a bit iffy here but at least before you had a chance of getting some good chicken. Won’t be returning again.

Not worth the $32.08 for 2 combo meals for 2 people. First red flag was the cashier gave me less change but I ignored it since he was young and it wasn't much. Second issue was the BBQ sandwich was asked to be on a bun instead of waffle and they just slapped a waffle on it. Both sandwiches are minimal and subpar at best and they charge a lot just because KFC in Redding has been down hill in the last several months and are always out of chicken so this place just gets away with this kind of price gouging for low level food. Should've walked out as soon as I came in since it was 100 degrees in there at night with flies buzzing around your head. Probably why there's outdoor seating.
