Tip: Try the Thai pizza – it's a must-eat! If you're getting a Caprese pizza, order the larger size as the personal size is quite small.

Hole in the wall gourmet pizza meets mind-blown coffee and dessert hangout spot. What time of day doesn't work to come here and enjoy? The only thing better than food and coffee is the staff. 100% all around. Ron Swanson and Blazing Saddles pizza is not to be missed. Their espresso shots and orange chocolate scones are golden.
I had heard so much about Bricks and Birch’s pizza, and am glad I finally got to try it!! The food and service here are both excellent, and I like how spacious the restaurant is. We ordered a custom pizza with tomato sauce, basil, butternut squash, vegan cheese, as well as the Triple B with tomato sauce, butternut squash, vegan (cashew) cheese. Both were delicious— I highly recommend the tomato sauce and housemade vegan cheese!! I look forward to trying more pizzas next time!
What a fun, cozy place to duck into for delicious teas, coffees, and pastries! It's got a wonderful, small town vibe that is a perfect stop after visiting the local sites, like the Lincoln Memorial Shrine and Smiley library! They even serve pizzas and salads, and some beer and wine to go with it. I love this place!
I’ve been recommended to check out Bricks and Birch by my roommate! I was told the Thai pizza was a must-eat. For my first time entering this pizza restaurant, I was struck by the amount of light that streamed into the open windows. There’s plenty of seating as well indoors and outdoors. You can directly observe the oven and the flames by which pizzas are cooked in. I came in with the objective to find a good pizza for a potluck for my life group in graduate school. For the length of time it took for me to calculate how much pizza I needed and how much I was able to invest in, the staff were so patient and kind with me! In hopes to find a good vegan pizza for the group, I asked what they recommended and based on their recommendations I got the Veggie pizza, 12”, vegan cheese, gluten free crust. It amounted to about $25, which is a bit on the pricy side for a 12” pizza. However, it was my first time buying a vegan pizza for friends, so I’m glad I got to try it for the first time here. They are also known for their vegan pastries especially the banana bread which I hope to try someday soon! They offered sample m&m cookies that provided the sugar boost for me to drive to my potluck. The wait time for the pizza to be made was about 15-20 min, around 3 pm when there weren’t that many people. The pizza came steaming hot, and I can tell the ingredients were fresh. Sharing them with friends was a delight. I’m considering the higher price as partly an investment in the experience and presentation of the food - thank you to the staff who cares about these! The place is well kept and give me a sense of comfort. I want to give a shoutout to Adalaine for her exceptional kindness and patience with my confusion of what pizza to get. For my vegan friends - this is not a bad place to check out for some fancy pizza.
Smells are fabulous as soon as you walk inside you are also greeted with very amazing costumer service genuine smiles and honest timely manners. Long wait for the first time of tying sadly but I'm excited and came in with a big appetite!! They have yummy ice cream flavors that look amazing as well as my personal favorite gelato!! Hope you enjoy it as much as me and my date are. !!!
This little spot is more of a coffee shop that specializes in brick oven pizzas. Came in and told the girl at the register for any recommendations so I ended getting the Thai chicken pizza which was really good, but it tasted more like a Vietnamese spring roll chicken pizza. Still it was delicious. I also had a cold brew coffee and I took a cookie home which was pleasantly good. I will be back soon to give the other pizzas a try.
The best pizza place in Redlands, HANDS DOWN! Easy to park, easy to find, amazing to eat. We got the thai pizza and some soda which is pretty commonplace usually for california style gourmet pizza. I have never had a thai pizza this delicious in my life! Plenty of sauce and ingredients/topping spread out evenly giving me deliciousness in every single bite! Ny pizza maker was Natalie, she helped me decide which pizza to order as there were so many great choices. Let me tell yya, she delivered on the flavor and quality on this pie. Cant wait to eat more pizza here.
Varies widely with fluctuations in staff/management which are fairly frequent. The pizzas are consistently good and a couple of the baked goods, coffee is definitely not their strong suit but it gets the job done. The majority of the staff are kind and capable but they are occasionally accompanied by a rotating schedule of very young/inept ones. interior is excellent though and it’s one of the best spots to meet people for a chat or get some work done while sipping a drink.
Cute place. My Caprese pizza was so delicious but very small. I suggest ordering the larger size. It was served on your average personal size pizza pan and you can see how small it is compared to the pan. But the flavor was great, absolutely loved the crust. You could add a salad to your small pizza. $18 dollars for a soda and a small pizza. Also this seems like a place for individual students to set up and work on their laptops leaving limited seating options for groups larger than two. I wish the air conditioning worked better too. Over all nice place to hang out and enjoy a meal
Pizza was good, made to order so it tasted good but they skimped on the toppings so to me not worth it. Would rsther go to an italian restaurant. The lemonade was too sweet for me🥲 It's too expensive in my opinion. The cookies looked good🍪 maybe I can try one next time
This place has potential to be 5 stars but some really basic issues holding it back. It seems like it was everyone’s first day working in the restaurant business. First, I ordered the “Swineapple” pizza but when it came out, there was Canadian Bacon on it. “Canadian bacon” isn’t listed as a topping on the “Swineapple,” although the name makes alot more sense now. I’m vegetarian so they had to remake it. I asked the cashier if there are any other hidden toppings on any pizza and he said “no, that’s the only one. Second, they call your name to pick up at the counter but give it to you on a hot metal pan. I burned my hand picking it up. I asked how I can bring it to my table and he put it in a box. A couple minutes later, I saw another customer burn their hand and get a box. Again bizarre behavior from this restaurant. Either bring the pizza to the table or put it in a box BEFORE customers burn themselves. Last, it wasn’t cooked all the way. Although the outer crust was perfect with a little char, the middle of the pizza was raw dough and wet. That means it wasn’t cooked long enough or there are too many toppings for this style of crust. When I picked up my first slice, it immediately ripped in half. The other 4 people in my family also had raw dough in the middle. Not cool. The flavors were great, the pineapple was fresh, and my brother loved the pesto caprese toast. But this place has some really basic problems. The owner needs to pay attention to their restaurant. Include all of the toppings on the menu, don’t expect customers to burn their hand, and cook the pizza for another couple minutes. I’d give this place one more try if I was rich since the problems seem easily remedied, but they’re such amateur issues and not charging amateur prices I won’t return.
Not sure what's happened to this place. Used to be a bustling, really good coffee shop, now it seems to just be an over-priced pizza place. I've been coming here since it was the place with the teapots 25 years ago, it seems to have changed hands several times. The servers who work there don't seem to have any barista training and they are all 12 years old. I'll give you, they are usually friendly young men, but I've stopped ordering espresso drinks because they've fallen short too many times, and as a coffee connoisseur, it's not worth the risk. The food has been good, the soups and the avocado toast have been tasty. However, for the price, a bowl of soup shouldn't come with a plastic spoon. The last time I was there, it was almost completely empty, and the whole place smelled like bleach. Yes, I guess it was clean, but I don't want to taste how clean it is there. I'll still pop in once in awhile because of the convenience of the location, which you can't beat, but I don't get coffee there anymore, and used to regularly. I hope they can improve and at least get some barista training.
A little pricey for what it is. $15 for one pizza (only about 6 slices) The baked goods are also overpriced. Overall decent quality for a high price. The atmosphere is nice. Nothing that I would go out of my way for. The cashier was not very friendly and seemed like she either didn’t want to be there or didn’t care.
Ordered a margarita pizza “well done” via delivery. Nothing was “well done” about this pizza. No basil (effectively turning it into a cheese pizza), and the dough was nearly raw aside from a few charred bubbles you can see in the photo. Just disappointing. If this was the first issue we had with this restaurant then absolutely no problem mistakes happen, but there has been a continual lack of attention to details, as over half our orders are missing some component in my experience.
This was my first time here and when my wife and I first arrived the ambiance is very nice. We ordered the Thai pie and ricotta whith jam toast. The toast came out in a timely manner but the bread was under cooked ( doughy). The pizza followed about 15 minutes later. We got our pizza after the people behind us got both of theirs. They called my wife's name and she picked up the pizza, we were sitting directly in front of where you pick up your orders. She sat down and noticed there was no cilantro on the pizza. She took it back to the counter to inform the gentleman making the pizzas and his response was "you took it to quickly". She informed the gentleman that he called her name and she picked up the pizza. He then went on to say "we put the cold ingredients on in front of the customer ". First of all, rude, you called her name telling us the pizza was done. After he applied the "cold ingredients " she sat back down and we both grabbed a slice. We both noticed the pizza had no chicken on it. My wife took the Pizza back up to the counter to inform them there was no chicken, and the gentleman told her the chicken was under the cheese. Unless they were using very finely ground chicken, there was no chicken on the pizza. A second gentleman said, rudely, "we will just remake it". When we got the newly made pizza, we found hair in the pizza. I respect my wife enough not to make a scene in a restaurant. This will be the first and only time I will go to this place. My wife does not need to be spoken to the way they spoke to her, nore should a restaurant get upset at a customer when they messed up. This place has poor customer service.
I've came here several times, out of the times I've came(5) I've got my pizza made correctly twice. One of the last times, I was given pizzas by their employee who ga e me someone else's pizza. When I got back to give it to them, they asked why you take it like it was my fault they handed to me. Tonight's pizza is disappointing in a different way. The pizzas came correct. But when I added chicken to the pizza, I was expecting more than 5 pieces of chicken on it. The BBQ pizza had about the same. For the cost of a smaller pizza they are skimpy on the ingredients.
We ordered online and they were running behind so we had to wait 30 minutes for our pizzas. We ordered 3 and they were baking them one at a time. By the time the last one came out the first two had been sitting. They were all three under baked and poorly topped. Now we're waiting again for our oven to heat up so we can finish baking these pizzas. All in all a terrible experience.
