4-19 Went in wanting a sweet drink, but they didn’t have what I wanted! So the bartender asked what I wanted but I didn’t know what to say so I asked for something sweet. He gave me a delicious drink with a cherry and orange slice. Thank you so much! I was shy to ask because I was unsure, but I was well taken care of. Thank you!!!

The Slip is such a scenic place to grab a drink: located right on the Redondo Beach pier, you really couldn’t ask for a better place to have a beer. The staff were all very cool and friendly. I’ll definitely come back and I definitely recommend

What a great atmosphere in here. Stopped by for a drink, and Manny’s awesome service and vibe made us stay for more. Right on the docks, plenty going on, and the place is…just plain fun. Decent bar seating, adult and family friendly. Didn’t try food, but hear it is good. Definitely recommend.

Here from Phoenix for a festival. I started every day with Bloody Mary’s from different places. 3rd day visited the slip bar, and Amy the bartender went above and beyond. Asked a few questions and made the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. Great experience!! Yummy!!! Thank you Amy!!

A great place to stop for a bite or a drink if you’re looking for something lowkey just off the main pier. The Christmas decorations were awesome. Loved how they have live music but it’s not so loud you can’t have a conversation, opposed to the other two bars right next to them. Food hit the spot, we tried the BLT and the buffalo chicken salad. A great place to hang out to watch a game or just stop in for a quick drink. Will definitely be back :)

Wow!!! This place is a gem!!! Absolutely fabulous service and the food was to die for!! The Spicy Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve ever had!! I had the sweet and spicy grilled cheese and I added bacon! It was delicious! My husband got the Godfather! 10 out of 10! He really enjoyed the sweet potato fires and I had a side salad with the house vinaigrette, it was very good! I highly recommend this place!

A Memorial Day weekend visit to The slip did not disappoint. Tucked in the International Boardwalk , they offer a good selection of beer (draft or packaged) along with wines and a nice cocktail list. Menu items include sandwiches, burgers and salads, several of which can be meatless options! The staff is friendly and fast, from the bartenders to the servers and kitchen. The food was well executed and tasty. Live music fills the venue fast so get there early!

When I say I have eaten fries all over the world, I am not trying to gloat, just stating facts for your benefit. Everyone loves McDonald's fries, but in comparison, those are like having sand between your toes. Also, the next fact is that before today I thought I had eaten the best burger in my life at a small grill in Campinas, Brazil. It's called Ox if you ever get that way. Lucky for you, The Slip is much easier to get to. The only thing better than the Seasoned Fries is the Spicy Duo Smash burger. At this point, you should understand that I love spicy food, but if you don't agree, you should get a bit more adventurous. By the way, the beer selection is relative to their food. I don't come around here much, but this will always be a stop when I'm in the area. Cheers!

Thanks to the owner on the reply as well, you guys really nailed that burger. The fries went well with it, but I tend to not really prefer shoestring fries. That being said, the fries were fitting for the meal; albeit slightly overcooked. The atmosphere is way chill as well. Not a rowdy sports bar at all, and that's awesome.

Best burger in the South Bay! This place has great food and drinks, perfect for watching sports or enjoying the ocean views.

Very fun bar on the Redondo Beach boardwalk, and adjacent to the pier. Opens 11:30 a.m. daily. Bartender on Saturday morning makes a great Bloody Mary.

Mixed drinks from the waitress were good and enjoyable. She was busy on our third round and a manager made the same drinks but they were terrible. To my horror my girlfriend sent them back and they remade them no problem. We received good customer service and I would recommend this place to go enjoy the pier and have beer. I think beer is the specialty of the house and you can't go wrong.

This place is fun because of the live music and the open window/bar atmosphere, and the service is pretty good (for how busy they were). The food was OK (hence the 4 stars). The menu says that they can do any of their burgers with a garden patty, but we ordered one that had lots of toppings and it came out with only pickles. The chicken sandwich has a lot of oregano on it, if you’re into that. They have a good beer selection and the fries are good.

Lady closing on 27FEB2026 needs her customer service skills improved. Gentleman at Slipbar that night was great! She made the locals feel welcomed but not the rest of us. Red flag yall, tourist and others that are not local, Proejct Barley and Naja treat yall better. Locals were more welcoming than her at Slip Bar. Weekends have been good at Slip Bar. Hopefully she improves.

I got a mushroom smash burger with no bun (wheat problem). It looked good, and it tasted good, but there wasn't much to it. Not a lot of mushrooms. The onions disappeared, and in general it was only so-so.

Bar next door recommended this place for good micheladas. 2 beers, 15 minute visit. Low stars because the bar tender added his own 30% tip to the tab while I was in the bathroom and was defensive when I asked for the receipt. No integrity.

Went in the grab a drink. Bar tender stood there cleaning a glass while I looked at him. Waiting around 2-3 minutes for him to walk around moving stuff and clean a glass. He was not the bar back. He was a tall guy who eventually served me a weak drink.
