This is the perfect place for a nice dinner alone or with guests. There are so many great things on the menu to choose from - my favorites are the lentil soup, Greek salad, 3 dips with veggies, koubideh kabob, and the wild salmon entree. Super tasty veggies on the side, also. Healthy food and a great patio. The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend you try it!!

Really great food and service. The restaurant is near Torrance Beach so the atmosphere is hard to beat. The owner even checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. He was nice enough to send us home with some extra hummus after I told him how good it is. It's a little different than your traditional Mediterranean joint, but I highly recommend it.

This is hands down the best Mediterranean restaurant in LA. Certainly one of my personal favorite restaurants. The owner is always there talking to the patrons, it is clear he cares a lot about the quality of ingredients.

I had Lamb wrap. The lamb was top quality and melted in my mouth. My friend had the koubideh kabob and again the quality of the meat was second to none. Hameed was very attentive and gave us a lovely sample of cauliflower soup and he’s very passionate about the food served. Farhad was our server and he was an absolute joy! You can tell when someone enjoys their work. Fantastic food and wonderful service. Oh and no forgetting I had the chocolate tart for dessert….it was heavenly! Yum yum yum

What a fabulous restaurant! To out everything into context, we went as a party of 4 (including two vegetarians). We were greeted by a very friendly owner and given menus where everything looked delicious. We started with an appetizer of olive tapenade. It included pomegranate, a little garlic and olive oil. It was served with pieces of flatbread. Excellent flavor combination, and the very healthy portion was devoured quickly. Next, two of us ordered soup. One was a lentil soup, the other was a roasted cauliflower soup. I first tried the cauliflower, it was rich and thick and oh, so flavorful. I thought I had found a new favorite soup. Then I tried the lentil soup. I’m generally not a big fan of lentils, but this was outstanding, better even than the cauliflower. Each of the four of us raved over the soup. Our main courses were all kabob wraps or paninis. Each was a great meal. All of us had generous portions with the freshest ingredients. The wraps were accompanied by a homemade mint yogurt that added just the right counterpoint to the wrap. We finished with the crème brûlée and an ice cream birthday desert. Both of these were excellent! Throughout all of this the owner would stop by and give anecdotes about the restaurant or his childhood. He was a very friendly owner and gracious host. It is quite clear his passion for the food he serves and the chef takes meticulous care to have just the right touches. Do yourself a favor and go. It is a great dining experience.

The waitress could have been more attentive, but no points off because we really enjoyed everything else. We sat outside on the "patio" with wind-blocking panels. The owner came by and explained what went into their hummus and chicken kabobs and left us very impressed. Food was great!

Really enjoyed the food. Started the meal with Baba ghanoush. They make lovely pitta which is warmed up. The pita has soft pieces and crunchy pieces. It was a very nice surprise and a play on texture. Baba ghanoush came along with some spicy oily peppers that gave the right boost to the dish. If you love smokey flavor and eggplants make sure to try this one! The chicken kabob panini did not disappoint. Chicken was flavourful, not dried, just right! Must love olives! I also tried their hibiscus ice tea which was perfect. I pointed out they missed my drink on the bill and they didn't add it back which was a nice gesture. Be patient and come with an expectation of a slower service as you are likely to face it. The beach is only a few mins from the restaurant. A great place to go for a walk after your meal.

The food is exceptional here. What elevates this restaurant besides the delectable food is the excellent service and warmth provided by the owner. He took his time to speak to us and was quite attentive. We ordered the baba ghanoush, wild salmon, and chicken kabob. All were delicious! The owner offered us to try their hummus since we haven't had it before, and it honestly exceeded all expectations! I loved the bits of pomegranate garnishing the hummus since it added depth to the flavor profile with a tang of sweetness.

Amazing restaurant! Everything was soooo delicious. The owner came to our table and in true hospitality told us about the ingredients. No seed oils, no food coloring, farmfresh food and you can taste that in every bite. 10/10 recommend! Also great to sit outside!

For instance their baba app is served hot in a cute little skillet... and it was amazing. Both the beef and chicken kabobs were very flavorful and moist. Our server was very nice and knew the menu and flavors well. An oddball standout was their fruit infused green ice tea... honestly on a hot summer day this tea was so good I would come in just for that! The also offer plenty of seafood, lamb, wraps, salads and soup. The interior is very nice with a great vibe and they have 2 patio seating options.. the Catalina side being more shaded and busy traffic with the Vista side being sunny and more peaceful. Great food in a stunning location just a short stroll to the beach.

Ordered the chicken kabob and koobideh and must say it was one of the most juicy and flavorful chicken dishes I have the pleasure to taste. Friendly restaurant with amazing food. Babaganosh was large and came with delicious hot peppers along side. Plenty of pita for the dip. Sea Bass, a special was simply gorgeous - and tasted every bit as good as it looked. Creme Brulee was balanced and creamy - not too sweet - making it and coffee the perfect end to a Friday and a celebratory meal. Greeted by owner, wait staff perfect. While the meal is your star, you are clearly theirs.

What a sweet spot in Redondo Beach! Fresh, fresh, delicious lamb kebab and baba ganoush! Excellent service too. Our guy knew his stuff and patiently described the specials and recommended the right thing for us. A local favorite we were told, and we can see why.

Dinner for two was about $68. Food was ok. We would return for the chicken kabob; not the beef kabob. Today we visited Turquoise Restaurant in Redondo Beach with out-of-state guests visiting California, expecting a professional and hospitable dining experience. Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. As has occurred on prior visits, a male server as usual at the entrance immediately asked whether we had a reservation and stated that the restaurant was “busy,” despite place being largely empty. After I requested walk-in seating we were directed to outdoor seating, which we accepted without issue. After being seated, the same server came to our table to take our order. When one of our guests attempted to order a main course after we had ordered appetizers, the server responded in a condescending and dismissive manner, stating, “I’m confused are we ordering appetizers or main?” The tone was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unnecessary. To avoid an uncomfortable situation for our guests, I chose not to address the behavior at the table. The food itself was underwhelming. The chicken wrap did not meet reasonable expectations for quality or preparation and I had two hard avocado stem caps almost damaging my teeth. Although unsatisfactory, no complaint was made during the meal to keep our experience enjoyable. At the end of the dining experience, we ordered Persian tea. Two teapots were delivered without sugar or any traditional accompaniments, such as sugar cubes or baklava or any alternatives. Upon inquiry, I was curtly informed that sugar cubes were “not available”!! and I was handed stevia instead, which is not customary for Persian tea service. Only after returning to counter I was able to order the baklava, which was ultimately provided. However, the same server clearly implied that the items were being ordered and therefore not complimentary, which was never my intention. The most concerning aspect of this visit was not a single error, but a consistent pattern of dismissive behavior, poor communication, and lack of basic hospitality by the same staff member throughout the experience. The interactions demonstrated a clear absence of customer-service standards, emotional awareness, and respect toward guests. This behavior has been repeated across multiple visits. I am personally familiar with the owner and regard him as a respectable individual with a long-standing family background in the restaurant business. It is therefore especially disappointing that front-of-house conduct reflects so poorly on the establishment. It is unfortunate to leave a negative review; however, after repeated attempts to support this local business, this experience represents the final deciding factor in my decision to discontinue dining at this location.
